Tried warning the restaurant that their current chef is a thief, who is currently on the run down there. Didn’t want to listen. Oh well. Play with fire, get ya fingers burnt 🤷🏻‍♂️

Me and my family came across this place while walking through Duffield last Friday. We were a party of 5 adults, 1 child and a baby and the 2 waitresses who were looking after us could not do anymore to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They joined 2 tables together outside, to give us more room when eating and even found some colouring for the kids to do, along with a blanket to keep the eldest child warm, when it got a little chilly. They couldn't do more to make the experience memorable and the food was fantastic, so thanks again. Will definitely pop back in if going through Duffield again.

Best breakfast I’ve had in Derby! Eaten here a few times now and always blown away with how good it is. The food is sooo flavourful and portions are very generous all for a reasonable price. I’m not veggie but love a vegetarian breakfast and this was the best, especially the mushrooms! Staff are always friendly & look happy to be there!

Mar 23, Sunday breakfast: The smaller breakfast was just ,OK. The crossiants were stale and hard - and overpriced for the size. The decor, very dark, could do with some brighter lighting especially for the day. I can imagine the decor works for late afternoon/evening. It is a place to have a standard breakfast, which Derby lacks. £32 Inc 2x small breakfast, 1 coffee, 1 tea, 2 mini crossiants.

Well that was the best fish and chips I have had in ages. Fish was freshly cooked and the chips are perfection. 10 out of 10 we will return.

Amazing family visit. Staff are welcoming and accommodating, large well laid out parking area. Interior is welcoming and spacious. We arrived between 3-5pm when only Pizza is available. We decided to hold out until after 5 and booked a Pod in the beer garden. They are ideal for groups (they have various sizes up to 14 persons) they're heated and with a service call button. Service was incredible, food good, Ales were limited but well kept and presented. The pods are ideal so the young children in the group didn't disturb anyone else and could have their space. We will definitely be back.

We recently decided to treat ourselves to an afternoon tea at Morley Hayes, it was absolutely delightful. The ambiance was serene, and the selection of teas and treats was exquisite. Our waiter, Finn, was incredibly attentive and polite, ensuring our experience was top-notch. Highly recommended for a lovely afternoon out! ☕🍰

I visit this café a couple of times a week for filled rolls or salads for a disabled friend of mine who is housebound. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I usually telephone and order in advance and the food is invariably ready on time. The staff are very friendly. I thoroughly recommend this café
