We had a lunchtime bite at this traditional baker and café. Very friendly service and interesting decor. Food was good quality, baguette for me and tea bread for my wife with a pot of tea. Served with salad garnish and butter and jam respectively.A small walk out of Broadstairs tourist area and having a much more local feel. We really enjoyed the visit and would recommend.

Although fairly local, I had never visited this delightful bakery before. The owners are warm, lovely and friendly. The interior is unique and a real treat, especially for little ones I expect. I ordered a nice take away coffee and two filled rolls, which were so fresh, soft and very generously filled with high quality ingredients. I thought the price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. The cakes looked amazing and the way all the items were arranged, was exquisite. I am glad I finally visited ‘Naughty But Nice’ and highly recommend it. I wish them all the very best as they deserve great success.

As a regular customer of the lovely Barry & Ann, the proprietors of NBN, I thought it about time I left a review. As a local tradesman I will go out of my way if I'm in the area to get a filled roll or sandwich for my lunch....all to often tempted too by mouthwatering array of cakes that are always on display. The cafe itself is lovely, full of interesting memorabilia on the walls and is always clean and very welcoming, The service is always friendly and efficient and both Barry and Ann are more than happy to have a chat, the place always has a lovely atmosphere and feel about it. The food itself is fantastic....i don't know how they turn a profit they put so much into a sandwich...roast beef, ham, chicken, whatever you'll want they'll have and the in-house baked rolls and loaves are as good as you'll find anywhere. All in all an absolute gem of a cafe and in an age of large multinational food outlets appearing everywhere it's one that I will certainly frequent every day I can for their baked goods, great sandwiches and rolls, yummy cakes, great service and excellent value for money.....a real jewel in Broadstairs crown for sure.

My family and I have been visiting Naughty But Nice for years. We love the food and have always had great service. Today, however, I felt really disappointed when I took my baby in a pram in with Mum and were made to feel very unwelcome as it was awkward to find a space. I totally understand the lack of space, and had we not been visiting the doctors may have chosen somewhere more spacious. When customers politely offered to make space we were told the pram wasn’t to go there as they didn’t want ‘that all smashed up’. I’m shocked and offended that it’s assumed I will use my baby’s pram anything less than respectfully. It’s a real shame for our whole family.

Having just read an absolute load of nonsense on here from someone I will have my say... Have been popping in here for at least fifteen years and found it nothing but warm, clean and friendly with fantastic ingredients. The food is always presented superbly and as for the idiot that said about flies swarming about.. Get a grip of yourself.. It's a bakers in Broadstairs not downtown Bangkok!!!... Also knowing Barry and Anne I know that he would not have stood behind the counter eating crisps as he has been in the game long enough to know how to behave..Some people have nothing better to do than whinge.. As my mother used to say.. "if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all"..

We try to come over to Broadstairs from minster to visit this lovely little bakery every week... the place is full of character, with all the quirky decor! We always have breakfast, the food is delicious and there service is brilliant. It’s always clean and tidy and very reasonably priced especially for the quality of food your getting!! The only problem we have is we can’t leave without taking at least one loaf and a couple of cakes with us

I have been visiting for three years now since I moved to Broadstairs, I have always found Barry and Ann very chatty and friendly. I have had in the last three years vitually every type of cake, sandwiches etc. and have always enjoyed them. The level of friendliness I have received is what causes me to visit at least three mornings a week. What everyone who visits needs to remember is that all food is made to order so NO fast food but that is the character of the place, WELL DONE Barry and Ann who have many, many regulars

I made the pilgrimage from Ramsgate on Maundy Thursday because that was the only day on which N B N had any hot cross buns. I have to say they were the best of any I had this Holy Week across Thanet. I often buy a fresh loaf or some rolls there, too. I'm only sorry my diabetes nurse has banned me from most of the cakes.

I used to work around Kent and whenever I saw "Broadstairs" on the job-list it brought a little cheer into my day because I knew the cheese and onion crusty's weren't far away!! Always friendly, always generous and polite.. but how does he bake those rolls? I live in the Midlands now so we call them" Cobs... " We're very proud of our cobs up 'ere but secretly, they're nothing compared to "Naughty But Nice!"

I have bought cakes from here before when passing, which are delicious especially the cherry and rhubarb slice. But was cold and I wanted a hot drink. So ordered a crusty roll and tea. Whilst waiting it was obvious that the local people frequently come in. There was greeting and banter and caring attention to all people that walked into the cafe. Go and watch the comings and going its a joy. It's like open all hours meets coronation street. And if you don't want to see that, there is hundreds of items on wall to look at. The cake cabinet is like looking into a jewellery shop window

Although this is not a cheap place to eat? The filled rolls are excellent. The bacon is cooked in the microwave and not good enough for the price paid. Kojack the owner is pleasent as is his girlfriend Barbie. The potions are large and this is a very clean place to eat. I'd go again. Even the staff a polite and friendly too.

The welcome and service extended at this small family-run cafe is only matched by the tastiness and freshness of its baked goods. As a regular overseas visitor from Australia I always make it a point whilst in Broadstairs to visit 'Naughty but Nice' and have always enjoyed the experience. 'Home-cooked food' and friendly, attentive service make this cafe tops in my book.

The owners are very friendly and made my family feel very welcome, particularly Barry the owner, who had a great sense of humour. I will be back next time i am in Broadstairs,

Unfortunately I had a very different experience to the good reviews posted below. If I could give this place a zero I would. I visited early on 24 August 2017. As a recent student of commercial baking in Australia, I was keen to try a famed Bakewell Tart, as I had heard all about this British treat. The one I selected did look very nice, a raspberry Bakewell. However as I opened my wallet, I realised I only had a 20 pound note and no smaller change. I was immediately very apologetic to the owner of the bakery, explaining that I had just been to the cash machine and didn't have anything smaller. I was then told that he could not accept this, as it ruins his float. I politely and very gingerly began to remind him that a 20 pound note is legal tender and that part of managing a small business involves keeping enough change on hand for such occasions. The owner interrupted me before I could finish and took the conversation to a very unpleasant level, very abruptly indeed, screaming at me to get out of his shop, and calling me the most shocking profanities. Wow, I was truly staggered. I have never been spoken to like this as a customer, anywhere in my life. And if I had ever spoken to a customer like this in any of my jobs, I would have expected instant dismissal. I was especially shocked as I had only spoken very politely to him. I left the shop very upset and physically shaking. Many thanks to the owner for this truly unpleasant welcome to Broadstairs to me, an overseas visitor from Australia. My experience was a total fail in customer service etiquette. I don't feel there is any excuse to speak to a customer like that.

One of the many regulars to this bakery and it is not hard to see why - the bread (both wholemeal and white varieties) is some of the best bread I have ever tasted. The cakes, many of which are homemade, are the best in Broadstairs! The seating area in the cafe is quirky but comfortable. The service is also good and Ann and Barry always serve food and bread with a smile and a joke. To buy the best bread in Broadstairs and to leave the bakery smiling or laughing - Naughty but Nice is the answer.

Love going into Naughty But Nice for a filled roll or a coffee. Barry and Anne are always more than welcoming and it's always nice going in just to take the Michael out of Barry's beloved football team. If you can keep away from the array of cakes on display then the rolls are all good and if anything over-filled. Keep looking at the home-cooked egg, chips and beans but haven't got round to trying them yet.

What can I say but what a wonderful little place, this lovely little bakery and tea shop serves a lovely selection of bread and cakes as well as a good selection of traditional hot food. I have to say the best thing about this place is Ann and her fantastic staff who are excellent, friendly, welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. We visited the shop on several occasions this week and you can tell that this bakery is very much part of the community and Ann and her team were just so lovely, so If you are in Broadstairs then make sure this is top of your list for places to visit!!!!!

Naughty but Nice is opposite Broadstairs library and near the station. It is mainly a bakery but this means there are plenty of cakes. As they were about to close I was offered a tea and cake for £1.90, so advise you visit before 3pm, or earlier on Friday. There is a hand written menu, and the hot items such as all day breakfasts and meat and veg items are around £6-£7, so not ultra cheap, but they would say better than the Beano next door. About 26 seats inside, but outside is at a busy traffic intersection. Some interesting artefacts on the walls, and an old fashioned interior. I think they open at 8am although the bread is made before then

Went for lunch with a friend Have been here before for tea and cake Sat at a table in the sun decided to move when one with a sun shade became free as I got up my brand new trousers caught on 2 prices of the plastic wicker chair that had come losses and were sticking out. I hadn't noticed this when sitting down as I couldn't pull the chair out fully due to lack of space. My trousers were damaged. I informed the waiter who just said sorry, and he would remove the chair. This wasn't done until as we left, I told another member of staff. If I had had bare legs, I would have had a nasty cut. We ordered jacket potato with chilie and salad. Which was quite nice . However my friends coffee was cold. Informed the same male member of staff who said the machine was playing up he took the cup and returned the same half drunk coffee to the table it had obviously just been put in the microwave. Sadly, I now have a damaged pair of trousers that I will have to pay to be mended, and we were not even given a full cup Of fresh coffee. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Watery ice cream - yuck. Unfortunately I think the proprietors forgot to add the ice cream powder to the liquid today. Within 30seconds of having the cones the “ice cream” was melting and it was very watery tasting. It is advertised as Jersey ice cream which surely means it should be creamy?
