Never got the chance to eat. App in car park wouldn't down load as no signal and no card machines so 7 of us in 2 cars couldn't eat here. Shame as it had been recommended. Very disappointed wonder how much trade they lose because of this.....

Había un hombre contando su cambio por una pinta a un par de mesas de nosotros. No estoy seguro de si hicieron comida, así que solo tomamos un par de bebidas. Hay una buena selección y es una marca de barril.

we had been recommended this restaurant, so was looking forward to it. sorry but very disappointed had a toasted turkey sandwich and chips with gravy, the turkey was a piece of very chewy cardboard (couldnt call it meat). the sandwich itself was very dry. when the young lady collected my plate she asked if all was well i said no it was dry she said there was gravy to dip it in. never dipped a sandwich in gravy before. not very helpful, shant be going again

We had an amazing Sunday carvery today at The Wootons Inn, beautifully cooked beef and moist gammon with loads of vegetable options, massive yorkshire pudding and plenty of gravy. One of our guests couldn’t eat red meat for dietary purposes and the chef was most accommodating cooking a chicken breast. Lovely conservatory and we were able to take our dogs in which was great. Thank you very much and well done, we’ll definitely be back.

Popped in on a Saturday late morning. Bacon sandwiches were fab, loads of perfectly cooked bacon, soft bread, a portion of really crispy chips on the side. Staff very friendly and efficient. Proper cup of tea. Look forward to returning when in Newton Abbot again.

The porta toilets outside reflect very badly on the shop, when I say RANK I mean it! The thought of all those people using the toilets then going in the shop mauling everything 🤢🤢🤢 it affected what I touched, which was nothing, and purchased. I only bought something to eat from behind the counter in the hope the poor staff members didn’t have to use those toilets! Seriously, those loos need cleaning on a more regular basis, running water somewhere even if outside and someone actually being responsible for them. I think it would be better for business to have no toilets there at all, great shame as nice little shop. My visit was off-peak season and appx 1pm

My wedding reception was dire. I paid thousands to be spoken to awfully. Please if you book this place, just book the building, do not use anything they supply. It was all terrible and has been nothing but stress. Joshua Holmes is not a manager he is simply a salesman and does not take complaints seriously or do what he said he is going to do. I just can't even, anymore, it's exhausting. Utterly disappointed Demi Florence.

Un hotel muy agradable, me sorprendió lo mal que está el restaurante. El menú poco imaginativo, el servicio es terrible. Pedimos una copa de vino cada uno, entrada compartida y plato principal. Nuestro vino tardó diez minutos en llegar, hay que tener en cuenta que el restaurante solo estaba lleno en un 20%, cuando finalmente llegó nuestro entrante compartido, remolacha humus, otros diez minutos, solo había un pequeño pan pitta, cortado en 4 tiras pequeñas, con él. Tuve que pedir más, tenemos dos tiras pequeñas más. Después del arranque tuvimos que esperar media hora más para nuestro plato principal. Era comestible, pero no puedo decir mucho más que eso. Por alguna razón después del plato principal pedimos el menú del desierto, después de media hora no había llegado y decidimos que ya era suficiente. Nos las arreglamos para recibir la factura. Me molestó que hubieran añadido 12. 5 % de servicio - qué servicio - mi esposa insistió en que no hice un escándalo, me lo habría quitado. Imagino que la única manera de obtener una propina es hacerlo, aunque me pregunto cuántos clientes se oponen. SI NO PUEDE PRESTAR SERVICIO NO DEBE COBRAR POR ELLO Consejo - hay un italiano extremadamente agradable justo al otro lado de la carretera.

Out for a walk round the Dover area, while the missus was doing a channel swim training session. Brunch Cafe beckoned as I walked down this part of town (I'd prefer to spend money in an independent place, rather than a chain). It was fairly quiet - just what I needed. Ordered the French Taco, which the young man behind the counter enthused about. The food was amazing - absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The 2 young lads serving were great - not overly-friendly, just right, and the pair were quite entertaining.

Barkers cafe is a great place to eat out when shopping in Northallerton, the food range is really good from sandwiches to hot main meals. The price is Ok for an up-market cafe. always busy and a great stop to rest your feet. The toilets are clean and well cared for.

We recently spent 6 nights at this hotel. We had originally planned to stay 4 nights but added 2 more nights as we were really enjoying ourselves. The hotel was the main building and outside rooms. Our room was the standard double but large very clean with all the amenities. The breakfasts were excellent, buffet or served depending on what day of the week. Evening meals were in a smaller bar style restaurant. Meals were first rate All the staff (Reception, Breakfast, Evening meal) were first class and credit to Best Western. The local area was beautiful. We both would love to return. RECOMMENDED!! 5 star.

Great place good ales, and excellent homemade food. The Sunday roast is the best I’ve had. My wife is vegetarian and she enjoyed the food very much. Recommend to everyone who likes a family run bar.

Very disappointing. Ordered a whopper burger for both my partner and I. Burger,eggs and bacon were all luke warm.Onion rings over cooked and the salad was warmer than they were. Would ot reccomend
