Always my go to place when I'm in Leeds. The chips in this place are amazing.

Busy pub with limited parking space. Choice of food which is reasonable & one has got to be careful of not being overcharged for any drinks. 21.3.22 Management has changed & who need to become familiar with any offers being promoted on behalf of the pub! Friendly staff. 23.3.22 Apparently no staff to cook food & customers are kept waiting with dirty tables & bar! Unacceptable. No point in providing meal vouchers if they can't be used! Ridiculous. 17.7.22 Tasty duo roast lunch served on Sunday by friendly staff. Toilets 🚻 need to be kept clean & smelling fresh. 22.11.22 & 28.2.23 Tasty food served by friendly staff in ambient surroundings. Some items on the menu were not available! 29.4.33 The tables need cleaning & clearing up, as do the toilets! Bright & lively atmosphere. 22.11.23 Tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment, however, the stinking toilets 🚻 & corridors need cleaning & freshening up! 6.3.24 Tasty food served by friendly staff in a cosy atmosphere. However , the toilets & corridor are overcome by the overpowering stench of urine! 3.12.24 Tasty Burger & chips served by friendly staff in a clean & warm environment. 3.3.25 Tasty Ultimate Burger & Chips served by friendly staff in a clean & cosy environment. 13.3.25 Tasty soup, fish & chips 🍟 with bread & butter 🧈 served in a clean & warm musical environment by friendly staff. 16.4.25 Tasty tomato soup 🍲 & maple 🍁 stack burger & chips with gravy served by friendly staff in a clean environment.

Lovely food for a mid-week lunch treat with my mum. Would be good if there were a few less options round egg though!

We popped into Shakespeare with friends and it turned out to be such a fun night out! The lively atmosphere was just what we needed, especially with the bonus of live music filling the space it really kept the energy going all night. Nothing beats the sound of a guitar and a good round of Guinness in hand. We also found ourselves caught up in the bottle cap game at the bar, taking playful guesses and cheering each other on. It added a bit of friendly competition to the mix and had us laughing between sips. Service was smooth, the pints were poured perfectly, and it felt like a place you could settle into for hours just enjoying the company and ambiance. Definitely one to return to for casual hangs and great vibes!

Sunday lunch with good friends. We had drinks and “nibbles” outside in the sunshine, and headed indoors for a traditional Sunday lunch. It’s a busy pub, but the food and service are very good. “I’ll be back!”

Good food quickly served at a good price

My husband and I visited Wymondham today and planned to eat at the Green Dragon, and although the website shows it's open from 12 till 10pm it is in fact appeared that it was closed for good.

A great, stylish accommodation in an old inn. Location: The pub is in a small town about 20 minutes from Oxford. Park: The house has its own, spacious and free parking space. Room: Our room was huge and rustic. Nevertheless, it was somehow modern, especially the bathroom, everything was harmonious and comfortable. An old, steep staircase leads up to the room above the pub. Although the room is directly above the dining room, it was very quiet and no noise could be heard. Bathroom: The bathroom was large and modern. Plus, always pleasantly warm. Staff: All the staff, both at reception and at dinner and breakfast, were extremely friendly and nice. Breakfast: You could choose breakfast from the menu and it was freshly prepared. Delicious. Bar/Restaurant: Quaint pub and restaurant with very tasty food. We really enjoyed the evenings here. Price-performance: The price for the overnight stay is a little higher but the price/performance ratio is still okay.

Best bottomless brunch I've been too. Drinks were constantly flowing non stop. Once one drink was delivered the order for the next one was taken. There was 30 of us as well so they had their work cut out! Amazing service from Daisy and Leonie. Highly recommend!

Visited this pub today for my sister’s birthday. They both orders Sizzling Cantonese with beef and oriental vegetables, however, the only bit that was accurate was the sizzling, beef that tough it was inedible and the veg was red pepper and onion. I had a starter of Camembert with chilli jam, which came with limp lettuce. Both didn’t eat it. When complaining the waitress begrudgingly apologised, not genuine at all. Full price of £45 paid. No leaving I visited the toilet and the paint was pealing off the walls and the air vent were hanging off the wall by one screw. Won’t be going there again.

Half of our party had finished their food before the others had food, awful

Come in 5:40 on a Saturday afternoon, great customer service, food was excellent well catered for fussy eaters, and a child with an eating disorder, didn’t have to wait long at all. We will be back!!!

Owner rude arrogant when asking about I.P.A.What varieties he had e.g.citrus or fruity.He shouted across the public house I.PA.is just that...rudeness in not coming up to me.Embrassing and not how you deal with public in hospitality.Would never recommended.Ownwer leave the business if it is getting to you. You have local breweries providing various I.P.A Various fruits ..citrus up date your bar!Another bar person asked about local gins bar person dod not suggest any customer left to chose.Totally not a reputable establishment!
