The Brewery Tap in Leeds

Estaba tratando de encontrar una muy buena hamburguesa en Leeds y este lugar parecía prometedor de comentarios anteriores. Resulta que las críticas anteriores eran correctas y bien merecido! Tengo la hamburguesa Baconator que fue increíble. Las empanadas más delgadas que he visto en mucho tiempo con un gran sabor y bordes crujientes realmente encantadores. Un montón de tocino súper crujiente y queso gooey en un bollo fresco que no se desmoronó mientras comía. Vino con una gran porción de patatas muy buenas también. Preciosa terraza exterior en la planta alta y el personal amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente las hamburguesas aquí, y volveré!

Very convenient pub for the Leeds City Railway Station. Great range of cask beers. Comfortable bar, big enough but not too big..

Fabulous, we had our Christmas party and the team are amazing. Great choice of drinks, lovely atmosphere.

Ambiente encantador aquí y un montón para elegir. Creo que elegí mal ya que tuve que soportar una bebida que era demasiado afrutada para mi gusto, pero esto fue mi culpa por completo. Estoy seguro de que hay muchas otras bebidas que hubiera disfrutado más. Un poco en el lado caro, pero bastante promedio para el centro de la ciudad.

Beer great and loved sitting outside in the upstairs bit.

Some fancy pants beers in here. It's very crafty. Not a Carling in sight. Got to be a true larger aficionado to find something that isn't craft beer. It is in there but it's just got a different label on it. The craft beer drinkers amongst us enjoyed it the most. For a neanderthal like me - they could do with Carling on tap or if they want something foreign and exotic, maybe Tenants? Ideal location to sink a jar whilst waiting for a train

Decent sized menu, not overly expensive, great atmosphere, comfortable, convenient location near the train station, so if you're hungry and waiting for a train go check it out

They have a lovely selection of beers, mostly craft. The food was nice enough although the burgers looked a bit lackluster and could do with a bit more love. The prices are okay but do not expect it to be cheap. The overall flair was clean and modern, although it felt a bit too modern for our taste. A negative was that we booked a table with them for dinner and they didn't even have the reservation on the system. There was enough room so it wasn't a problem but since it's in a busy area, that should get sorted out ASAP. Also they should state that there is no service at the table. If I have to write down the food order for 3 or more people and keep getting my own drinks while the two lads at the bar have enough time to chat up female customers then something is wrong. Overall it was a good experience but there are quite a few things that a decent manager could improve easily and quickly.

Tienen una encantadora selección de cervezas, en su mayoría artesanales. La comida era bastante agradable, aunque las hamburguesas parecían un poco deslucidas y podría hacer con un poco más de amor. Los precios están bien, pero no esperes que sea barato. El estilo general era limpio y moderno, aunque se sentía un poco demasiado moderno para nuestro gusto. Lo negativo fue que reservamos una mesa con ellos para la cena y ni siquiera tenían la reserva en el sistema. Había suficiente espacio, así que no fue un problema, pero ya que está en una zona concurrida, eso debería resolverse lo antes posible. También deben declarar que no hay servicio en la mesa. Si tengo que escribir el pedido de comida para 3 o más personas y seguir recibiendo mis propias bebidas mientras los dos muchachos en el bar tienen tiempo suficiente para hablar con las clientas, entonces algo está mal. En general fue una buena experiencia, pero hay bastantes cosas que un gerente decente podría mejorar fácil y rápidamente.

Didn't have food but stopped here for one last drink before the train home and was a good decision. Left my drink choice to the barman and wasn't disappointed. Great atmosphere, great service, can't really ask for more.

Clean, and cosy. Excellent beers and Cocktails. Really friendly staff. Very convenient for Leeds Station. Always a reliable port of call to meet up with friends before heading out in to Leeds.

Bustling city centre pub which was busy without being overwhelmed. Near the train station so the footfall brought all kinds in. Fancy dress seemed to be the theme of saturday afternoon. Although there is enough space to sit away from the bar / main door, and continuous distractions.

Know that people might have trains to catch. £3.45 a half for a 4.5% beer just cos you know people need the bathroom before the train is grim 🤐

Nice vibe soon as you walk in with a mature clientele.

A nice little pub with a beer garden on the roof where you can smoke it is a bit pricey but well worth a visit

Virtuous Kirkstall ale at £7 a pint? Absolute carnage! Didn't expect a pint to come with a complimentary pants-down service at the bar.

Dam good burger with excellent service and really good pint of best! The staff are friendly and really helpful . Stop here for refreshments when you visit leeds.

Outrageous pricing - £7 for a pint of mid range beer (Virtuous Kirkstall) must be the most expensive in Leeds. Plenty of places nearby serving the same beer for much cheaper

Great pub with great food on offer, very local to the station so great meeting location

We had a wedding event in the private function room upstairs. The booking & contact from Rob throughout was great. We were able to decorate the room with balloons, flowers & cakes etc and Hayley was our dedicated contact throughout the day. She was absolutely superb going over & above from serving welcome drinks to all the guests, helping with the catering, checking in with us to make sure we were happy with music levels etc. She totally made the whole day the best experience for everyone who attended and we all thoroughly enjoyed a stress free day with wonderful memories to look back on.

A room was rented for a wedding reception, we were allowed in early to decorate it. The staff were absolutely brilliant all the time we were there, no marks are given re food as it was a private caterers on this occasion.

Popped in for a quiet pint before a concert. Don't let the roadworks put you off. You can easily get in. As always the hand pull beers were top quality.

Saturday 20th April 2024 This real ale pub next to Leeds Railwa station has tonight 8 delicious hand pumped real ales on offer 4 from leeds brewery and 4 from other breweries a lovely pub with 2 floors great staff and locals I would totally invite every real drinker to drink in this pub

Came here on the 5th of April before checking into our hotel they did not fail to impress us. The Big Mick loaded fries was so delicious that we said that we felt we could eat a full sharing plate to ourselves next time of visiting. An excellent variety of beers and the staff were friendly upon arrival. Atmosphere was steady around lunch time but we'll worth the visit and pirce for the quality!

Did need a sour on draft but only available in cans and then only the choice of two. I'd have expected more. However, a dood selection of craft in the main. Pleasant little brewery tap very close to the station

Decent beer selection but the cask ales are always warm (same issue on a previous visit). Room temperature and definitely not 'cellar cool'. It might be that the beer lines from the cellar are too long and so can accommodate a full pint of beer, or perhaps the cellar is just too warm. Should be 10-12 degrees C. This pint is way above that.

Love this place. Good choice of beers. The staff are friendly and let you try the beers to make sure right for you. Will keep coming back.

This is always worth a visit. Very relaxed atmosphere and a good place to sample the excellent Leeds Brewery beverages. Only slight criticism is the change of menu. But the food was still good If you're in Leeds call in. Follow the exit to New Station Street.

Popped in with hubby on our visit from Manchester. First impressions - Great appealing look and feel with good seating up and down. Hubby had an ale. I ordered a gin that I drink on a regular basis with a slimline. The gin didn’t taste right, very fruity which is not what I wanted. On taking it back to the bar I explained on what was a premium gin (portobello) that it didn’t taste like it should and asked if they’d mix the tonic up. Sadly the chap behind the bar said that portobello is made with grapefruit so it’s fruity and that’s what I had ordered. I was suprised and felt this was not correct. A frequent drinker of this gin, I could really say it did not taste correct, and it never tastes fruity. I left the gin on the bar and waited for my husband to have finished and we left. A shame really as felt like this was not the drink I drink on a regular basis but was felt to feel I was wrong. For those that love ale I’m sure you’d love this place.

Had an amazing birthday night with the Brewery Tap team. We booked the upstairs room and they were super accommodating and flexible. James, Hayley, Niall and Rob were spot on with everything. Great beers and burgers were delicious! Big thanks

Great selection of beers.. good clean and tidy, fab but the food via BigBuns was a very sorry affair .. just food .. for survival.. ohh dear, sorry Fries/chips.. close your eyes., burger has some little hope.

A couple of swift halves whilst awaiting train connection. A fine selection of cask and craft and the two in view were excellent quality. Friendly staff too.

Great pub, good atmosphere and great selection of ales.

Beer choice was ok , a bit lacking in atmosphere when we called in, but it was knocking on a bit. The tables all needed a bit of a wipe down which resulted in a bit of a mark down.

Near the station, sells beer. Good for the first pint off the train, or the 'just one more for the road/rail'

Fab location for a 30th birthday event! The venue and location were perfect and staff were really friendly and helpful.

Came because of the Leeds Food Tour. Great beer and the burger and Katsu loaded fries were very good. Service and atmosphere good. Would definitely return. It's very close to the train station if you prefer a decent relaxed place rather than the dreadful alternative!

Unfortunately the food was served late “it took around 25mins”.. and all the burgers where over cooked and had burn taste.. the chicken burger was salty.. the fries was goos

Obviously great selection of real ales from Leeds brewery but also 4 guest ales. Think it has had a refurb since my last visit with Casta. Easy five minute walk from main station. Must stop for beer fans.

Perfect venue & hosts for the retirement of a colleague. Big Buns laid on excellent food. Fantastic space, highly accessible & very well run by a helpful, energetic & positive team.

Really great smash burger and great beer and liquor selections. Not the most expensive menu, but if what you want is a smash burger, a chicken sandwich, or a veggie patty, give it a try! Relaxing seating options good for a few pints while catching up with a friend

Great bar close to the train station. Perfect little roof terrace for those sunny afternoons, and a decent drink selection. But most of all, top notch friendly and attentive staff.
