This must be one of the friendliest pubs I have ever stepped inside, dog friendly with bowls and treats on offer, staff were excellent made us feel very welcome, even the customers were very helpful with giving me recommendations for a garage as my car developed a small issue on the way down, meals were spot on, very fresh, my partner commented on how nice the calamari tasted and not chewy like other places, the nacho bowl with pulled pork also very tasty, mains we opted for hunters chicken and Gregorys tagliatelle with lemon meringue and deep filled apple pie to finish, all very tasty and if your in the area well worth the stop

Absolutely Outstanding – Top 3 Dining Experience Me and my girlfriend made a 35-minute drive just to try the halloumi parmo at The White Hart Inn—and it was so worth it. The parmo was absolutely delicious, and I had the smothered chicken in Stilton which was a solid 10/10. What really stood out though was the service. The owner, Nathan, served us personally. My meal came with a smaller portion of chips, and before I could even say anything, he was already back from the kitchen with extra. That kind of attentiveness and genuine care is rare. Nathan is an absolute gent, and the whole experience—from food to service—was faultless. Without a doubt, one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Easily in my top 3 dining experiences. Well worth the drive and I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know.

Four of us Popped in on a sunday lunchtime & food and service was 5*. Would highly recommend it.

Nice enough place, only pub in the village that is open late, but bar is ridiculously expensive. Charges about 20% more for drinks than it's local competitors.

The service could not be faulted, lovely staff. The roast beef was a little disappointing, it was barely warm and the beef was over cooked. The roast potatoes were hard and undercooked. The portion was really good though & served with a big dish of cauliflower cheese which was piping hot and lovely.

No swearing and no tech/mobile policy in force. Good to see people talking to each other. 👍🏻

Very expensive sandwiches and while the one I ordered was supposed to come with mayonnaise it actually came slathered in margarine. Service was very quick, however.

Fantastic atmosphere with brilliant services, one of the staff called Angela is a very good staff, she tried her best to communicate with me as i am deaf. The food was delicious, definitely coming again. 5 stars still earned.

Had a lovely pint and sausage sandwich. Dogs made most welcome with treats and water. Just not allowed in the restaurant.
