We have been here several times since discovering New Jakarta a month ago and they have never disappointed. I first went for takeaway when my friend said she had the best chicken satay she’d ever had here! The menu offers more than enough options to please everyone (we’re meat eaters and pescatarians) and we have been through pretty much every dish (we go in a large group and we love to share) and each is just delicious! The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, ensuring we’re happy throughout our dining experience. My only disappointment is that we didn’t discover them sooner. It’s great value for money, their lunch menu always enables us to bring loads of food back home because the portions are huge! It’s our new regular spot for special occasions. Thanks New Jakarta!

Monty's offers an authentic and deeply satisfying Nepalese dining experience, with two standout dishes that deserve special mention. The chicken momos were perfectly crafted—delicately steamed with a light yet resilient wrapper encasing a juicy, well-seasoned filling, and served with a tangy tomato-sesame achar that elevated each bite. Even more memorable was the lamb pahadi: tender, smoky pieces of lamb marinated in a robust blend of spices and grilled to perfection, delivering a rich, earthy flavor that was both bold and beautifully balanced. With attentive service and a warm, inviting atmosphere, this restaurant captures the spirit and soul of Himalayan cuisine in every dish.

3.5⭐ really. Hit and miss on the menu, if you like it spicy ask for more spice. A nice location, has both indoor and outdoor (limited) seating, not far from the river. Inside is well decorated. 1 unisex toilet with baby changing. Both of the Thai drinks we tried were amazing, definitely give them a go. The Singapore noodles were very bland and not really spicy at all. Very disappointing (thought that was hard to mess up). The (cold) chicken noodles were good though, great flavor from the chicken and veg, good mix of textures. Unfortunately the waiter got our food order wrong (although this quickly rectified). note that a service charge for 12% is auto added to the bill.

Kushoom Bugh have just called me stating they are from the Three network! I hung up immediately to Google the number and found its an Indian restaurant! Number matching exactly, please be warned if they call you, can only imagine it's a way of scamming people!

The location was quite easy to find, despite some conflicting reviews. They mentioned being out of stock for cocktails, which was disappointing since they had just opened. My friend and I ordered the adobo wings and lumpia, both of which were very well-seasoned and tasty. For our main courses, I had the crispy honey garlic chicken with rice, while my friend chose the crispy pork with rice. When the food arrived, I was immediately struck by the tiny portion of the crispy pork dish. The pork looked incredibly dry, and my friend, who tried it, found it too hard and painful to eat, so she had to send it back to the kitchen to order something else. The honey garlic chicken was okay, but it wasn’t as well-seasoned as I would have liked. I managed to finish it, though. During our visit, we were also surprised to see two guys set up to sing, which made it difficult for us to hear each other across the table. Overall, I had a mixed experience. The wings and lumpia were delicious, but the rest of the food was disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be returning for anything, other than the wings for takeaway.
