I ordered from this place and although the food was good the amount of time it took for the food to reach (1 hour and 30 mins) it was not worth the wait. They need to seriously change something

Chicken biryani was more like a chicken cooked with rice and boiled together . It was not at all even looking like a biryani .

A friend forced to come all the way out the the suburbs of north harrow for this little place... Omg was it worth the effort! We had lots of bits to share amongst the 7 of us and everything was absolutely stunning 😍 Big claim, but this is easily the best indian in london

Wow. I just moved to the area, I have had Mr Chilly before, and thought it would be a nice first meal in my new house. Honestly it was truly incredible- the deigi methi chicken is the best I have ever had. Glad I moved to Harrow- GIVE THEM A MICHELIN START

Only Cash payment is drawback! Good ambience with old Indian music, Open kitchen. However paneer was burnt 😅 Naan and rotis are the fresh best ones.

Busy, lively restaurant. Ginger lamb, off the bone, is a wonderful thing, as is the lamb chops, chilli paneer, mango lassi, breads and everything else. Standout? The staff. And ridiculously cheap. There is a reason the place is always packed.

Love the food at Mr Chilli. I go for a chicken biryhani made extra spicy/hot. Great flavour, tasty and plenty. Butter naan bread delicious. Lamb kebabs full of flavour. Great job as always guys!

Terrible service and tasteless food. Ordered samosas and garlic lamb chops, the samosas were clearly microwaved and tasted stale, lamb chops no better, meat hard and dry, the ingredients appear to be unbalanced as through raw chilli power was sprinkled on. Avoid.

Awesome place with very welcoming vibes... Food is awesome and people are very loving and caring... have been visiting them every week atleast once... All the dishes are awesome... Have had kebabs., meeting aalo, deghi chicken and lots more... BYOB makes it a happening place during the evening

Great local favourite - we have been regulars here for many years (usually takeaway, sometimes eating-in). Food is always reliably excellent and great value, plus service is friendly and efficient.

this place has become a joke. ordered a lamp biryani, came in glass case & looks like it was microwaved, lamb was tough, dry & no taste. Jeera chcken wings were a joke. Sweet pan tasted totaly bland. Food has gone downhill. Seating & furniture needs a really deep clean, all of it dirty,old and greasy. They also need to bring into the 22nd Century their billing procedure, asked for the bill, a piece of paper with a total written by hand, no breakdown, no vat number, no telephone number & no restaurent name. Finally, they dont accept any form of payment other then CASH! And this is 2023!! Wont be going back there. There are better Indian Restarents for the money.

Mirchi bajji is delicious, and, chilli paneer/chicken is finger-lickingly tasty.

Found the end piece of plastic wrapping from the meat in our lamb dish, this was a good five inches in length. Staff were non-chalant but offered to provide us with a replacement dish. We had eaten half already and really put off so refused, eventually we were not charged for the one dish.

Food was excellent, service was great, worth to go there ,VMF Must try Mix grill platter….it was sensational 😍

Updated to 5 stars asif Jan 2023..Good lahori food and very reasonable too. The kheer to finish of the meal was superb. Can get very busy and noisy so not the place to go for a tête à tête !

Cramped tables. Portion sizes are ridiculously small. Food is not that great and the service was very poor. They ran out of forks so have me 2 knives instead.. Not in a hurry to go back!

Just had to get a quick bite to eat. Turbo Mogo chips was spicy but very tasty. With Mango lassi - can't go wrong.

Came for dinner with friends after a long time due to Covid, and goodness me, I had forgotten how great the food is! I love my food, and I’ve been to other so called fine dining restaurants recently, and these places really need to learn what good food looks and tastes like from the chef at Mr Chilly. Kebabs…juicy, delicious, melt in the mouth… Fish…cooked and spiced to perfection…. Lamb for mains…outstanding…. Naans….soft, piping hot and delicious… Service…..excellent Atmosphere….bustling, laughter, people having fun… Trust me, forget these other local “instagrammable” dives, if you know and recognise quality, come here, it will not disappoint ever.

Not so tasty food and ok service. They do not except card payment but were prepared for me to walk away with the food and pay when i went there next time . This happens only with small businesses. Should support small local businesses though

Ive been a loyal customer since you opened. Food is usually good, can't complain. It use to be very good when you first opened. But i recently tried your lamb biriyani for the first time. How you going to charge me £11 for a "lamb biriyani" which was just a box of rice with 4 cubes of unmarinated lamb? No caramelized onions either. Disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food. Great menu and nice staff. I think sitting in its a little basic and crowded but loads of people like that vibe. We do delivery and love the food quality.

Always our go-to place when we need amazingly tasty food! From turboMogo, to the wings, the kebabs to the methi chicken curry. Everything is intensely flavoured. Washed down with their home made passion fruit juice and a kulfi ice cream

Had a kebab roll whick was excellent

Ordered online on the weekend. The food was bland, the flavours were muddled. My butter chicken tasted exactly the same as the karahi ghost, except the colour was different. The chicken biryani had hardly any chicken in. The best thing I ordered was the masala chips. Waste of £40.

Ordered a takeaway. Pleased to receive in time with hot fresh nans. Have been ordering from here for years. But whats going on with them. Curries were quite tasteless, watery & very small portions. Butter chicken tasted like a kharahi chicken when its not supposed to be.

One of the worst experience in my life. We ordered a chicken karahi and jalfrezi and they both tasted like chicken in black bean sauce. I cannot understand what’s gone wrong with this place. The food is completely tasteless and if given an option I would give zero stars. At one point it was great, but sadly not anymore.

Really delicious food!!! Amazing The Lamb Nihari, the meat was soft and tender and the sauce was rich and warming. I am definitely going to come back order it again. The other amazing thing is the price: great value and portions that don’t let you leave hungry 🤤

As a regular customer for years but this I would say was the worst food served to us so far. Complained and left without eating. Gone down hill to the extent that will never go again.

Ordered takeaway & was truly disappointed. Not sure what has happened recently, as this was the second occasion the food was very poor. Portions have become very small & the normally tasty curries were watery & tasteless, in fact we threw them away, no flavour and poor quality meat which was chewy. We thought we would give them a second chance, but will definitely not be ordering from them again. Such a shame!!

Great food to eat in or take away. Meat samosas, ginger chicken, sag paneer are some of our favourites, all cooked fresh . The spices are so balanced and the meat so tender. Its not local to us but well worth the drive

Is it a restaurant or is it a takeaway. We went here to eat in as a group of 11. Service is okay but not very attentive. The food is not great. Flavours are bland. Sauces are primarily ketchup based. None of the food is spicy or masala as mentioned on their dishes. The mains are not curries as you would expect them in an Indian restaurant. I had veggie items but the meat could be different. Be prepared for it to be noisy and delivery drivers coming in and out constantly. I would definitely not go back again.

No customer service what so ever. Only 3 people in the restaurant and still could not attend to us and provide us tissues that we were requesting. Food would say ok not that great.

This little place hidden away in the suburbs is absolutley amazing. Food is the best, most authentic indian I've ever had (im born and raised in punjab). The prices feel almost criminal for such amazing food.

Authentic indian pakistani food

Done a collection order on mother's Day.. and while on the phone they advised they were out of the lamb shish - so changed it for the chicken shish. Ordered a load more stuff.. was advised 30mins .. when I arrived I could see they were run off their feet .. but Uber / Deliveroo drivers were coming in and out fast.. I had to wait an additional 5ish mins if that.. but then I was told the mushroom rice was also out.. but the guy said don't worry . It was his bad and that he will sort plain rice on the house.. got back and the whole family really enjoyed the food.. the starters were great.. lamb chops, shish, fish and wings all super tasty.. the mains were ok.. not the worst but slightly too much oil.. Nann bread was great.. it's been ages since I have been here.. I would definitely be coming back.. thanks for the food.

Firstly I did enjoy the grilled items - kebabs and paneer tikka very good. However the curry was disappointing - my takeaway bag was leaking when I opened the bag at home. I was expecting it to be overflown with curry sauce (which would have been okay), but no it was overflown oil from the curry. My mum would have been disappointed in me for wasting the oil and not re-using it. However, the three stars are for the grilled items which I will be returning for.

Had the most amazing food delivered I had lamb kheema and crispy tandoori roti Was cooked to perfection and I’m still salivating and some left for breakfast tomorrow morning as good sized portion I have been looking for the perfect kheema and this restaurant hit the spot Thank you and wish you the best success in the current tough environment and I highly recommend to everyone who loves tasty and authentic food I’m blown away to be honest

We ordered 4 Large Lamb Kebab Rolls from UberEats - That's 3 Kebabs in Naan bread. So in total 12 Kebabs and 4 Naan Breads. Each once came in a yellow Styrofoam box - so 4 boxes in total with 3 kebabs wrapped up in a Naan Bread. The problem with doing this is that 3 Hot Kebabs produces a lot of steam and Styrofoam is water tight - so by the time the product arrives at your door the Naan Bread is Soggy and wet. It would be nice if the restaurant owners had the common sense to put all 12 Kebabs in 1 box and pack the 4 Naan Breads in a something else. That way the kebabs would help keep each other hot and the nann bread would not arrive soggy. It would also save them a lot of money in packaging. Our Kebabs arrived cold so we had to put them in the microwave. The other issue we were shocked to see was the Salad that was included - it was basically almost nothing but raw onions (see the photo). When a restaurant sends you nothing but onions and calls that a salad it shows great disrespect towards their customers. Also there was way too much sauces sent in metal containers. If the food has taste it doesn't need so much sauce. The container they put the sauce in was not appropriate. I also didn't think much of the kebabs themselves - there was something funny about them that made us all start coughing when eating them. We had some kebabs left over and ate them the next day and started coughing all over again.

Bad quality of food. I ask to make me the chicken biryani not spicy thei didn't do it and mi little one start to cry because it was so hot for her.. Bad service and expensive I don't absolutely recommend it

Best curries I have had in all of London. Same goes for the mango lassi. And Jaffa and co have all such a great attitude about life.

I have a customer for a few years now, and never thought to write a review. My recent visit was last week, my first since the takeaway restaurant re-opened re:COVID-19, this was a welcomed relief after being deprived of such wonderful cuisine. Also a treat for my visiting nephews. The order was : Tarka Dahl Mixed Kebab Roll Jeera Wings Butter Chicken 2 Cheese Naan’s 4 Naan’s Well all I can say was the food was awesome, and I dare say the boys would have eaten more. The Dahl was sublime, Naan’s cooked to perfection as was the tasty Butter Chicken, the spice riddled kebabs. Last but not least the Jeera wings were to die for. So glad they have re-opened, the friendly staff are a joy to know, and a pleasure to interact with. UPDATE Good News... I have been advised they are looking to launch their own app in order to lower delivery costs to the end user.

For quite some time, I had heard good things of Mr Chillys, so I decided to order food for Father’s Day. We ordered paneer tikka and sheesh kebabs for starters. The starters were good, and that’s where it ended. Unfortunately the mains were a disappointment. We had methi lamb and butter chicken. Both were not great and I won’t be ordering that again.

Delicious food, would revisit. Had a mix of veg and non veg couldn’t criticise any of the dishes. Take your own alcohol. Good value for money.

Very modest restaurant but serving the best food in Harrow and well priced. When it comes to taste no other restaurant beat this one.

This place has always been variable, sometimes good. Seems to have lost eat in licence although cater for parties. Parties of one seemed ok over Xmas. Popadoms dreadful, cooked too hot then left on one side until ordered, texture of polystyrene. Several meat dishes ordered all of which are basically grey. Tried veg samosas, don't bother. Onion bhaji ok though. The 50/50 good or bad food is now 80/20 bad.

Always tasty food & the accommodate special requests. Recently it seeks attention to their sauce is missing. Is it mass produced. Always have a bad stomach next morning after curry.

Yummy inexpensive food, the staff are always lovely and helpful.We normally go as a large group and they always accommodate us even if we call on the day to reserve a table. To name a few things that must be tried are the onion bhajis, turbo mogos, the garlic mushrooms, chilly paneer, the amazing butter chicken and garlic naans ❤️
