Lugar de fecha o BYOB hace que sea un lugar divertido para tomarse unas copas antes de salir por la noche

Un pequeño gran hallazgo en el área de Chancery Lane, el mejor tailandés que he probado por aquí. Buen tamaño de porción pero desafortunadamente un poco caro para una opción de almuerzo.

We booked the karaoke room with food and cocktails at Rapsa Archway this weekend for a hen party and it was amazing! The team were so accommodating leading up to the event and on the night. The room is great for hosting a big group and the food and cocktails are delicious. We would definitely recommend for a party!

Excellent food, good prices and very friendly staff. Good size portions and lots to choose from. Nice setting and good atmosphere, will eat here again.

This place is a local secret. Its run by a Japanese family who have been in the area for years. We first happened by here by accident looking for a Chinese takeaway on a wet night. They have Chinese on the menu and we started to order to cater for some kids in our group but noticed the Sushi guy working away. We converted most of our order to Sushi and nooddles and bought a relatively inexpensive bottle of Saki. The Sushi, Noodles and Sake proved excellent. Tempura vegetables is also one of our favorites. The kids did like the Chinese, which to our taste was a bit average but most kids will not eat sushi - they do like the noodles. It is better to order ahead to avoid a wait because they make it all to order. If you crave Japanese beer they also have a good selection. They wil delver but we general enjoy a weak after ordering.

Nice enough restaurant with good food serving a variety of indian standards. Not really in crawley though.

Delicious food, the standout dishes were the lechon which was so tender, as was the crispy chicken sinigang. We also had the chilli spring roll, pork skewers and chicken wings, which were good. Only downside is the very limited and expensive wine list - one red and one white option for £48 a bottle, the white wasn’t even properly chilled and was served in a plastic glass, doesn’t really fit the price point.

Went for dinner with OH and kids. As soon as we stepped through the door, we were greeted by the friendly staff who carefully explained the menu, showing us pictures too. They advised on the heat level of the dishes, suggested what to try, and even gave me a sample of the nethali (small dried fish, aka ikan bilis), which brought back me back to my childhood 😀 The dishes arrived as soon as they were ready,  and they were devoured the moment they were set down. For starters, we had dry lamb, chicken 64, and mutton rolls - all get the thumbs up. For mains, we had butter chicken, thumbs up again (don't expect this to be like the Indian butter chicken - it isn't). For the nasi goreng, the cook adjusted the heat to a milder heat for my OO, though he still found it spicy (his tolerance is rubbish at best!!). Despite this, he absolutely loved it and insisted on finishing his dish and everyone's drinks along the way! The prawn sambal was as hot as promised, and it certainly delivered! I never learn. Poor OO gets his low tolerance from me. The sambal was creamier than I expected. Most sambals that I've had were more tomato-y, but again, the flavours were delicious. OH had the chicken varuval and loved everything about it, I had a nibble and had to concur. Throughout the meal, the staff would check in with us to make sure everything was ok, and they would have a bit of a joke with the kids. At the end of our meal, we were presented with a coconut and jaggery hopper - not only yummy, yummy yummy but calmed my sizzling tongue!. The perfect ending to a delicious meal. We all had an enjoyable time, the customer service was faultless, and everyone was so friendly. It felt like being welcomed into a favourite relatives' house where you're greeted with warmth, the food feels like a hug, and you leave with a happy smile and full belly. Definitely worth a visit.

We have been here several times since discovering New Jakarta a month ago and they have never disappointed. I first went for takeaway when my friend said she had the best chicken satay she’d ever had here! The menu offers more than enough options to please everyone (we’re meat eaters and pescatarians) and we have been through pretty much every dish (we go in a large group and we love to share) and each is just delicious! The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, ensuring we’re happy throughout our dining experience. My only disappointment is that we didn’t discover them sooner. It’s great value for money, their lunch menu always enables us to bring loads of food back home because the portions are huge! It’s our new regular spot for special occasions. Thanks New Jakarta!
