This place is a local secret. Its run by a Japanese family who have been in the area for years. We first happened by here by accident looking for a Chinese takeaway on a wet night. They have Chinese on the menu and we started to order to cater for some kids in our group but noticed the Sushi guy working away. We converted most of our order to Sushi and nooddles and bought a relatively inexpensive bottle of Saki. The Sushi, Noodles and Sake proved excellent. Tempura vegetables is also one of our favorites. The kids did like the Chinese, which to our taste was a bit average but most kids will not eat sushi - they do like the noodles. It is better to order ahead to avoid a wait because they make it all to order. If you crave Japanese beer they also have a good selection. They wil delver but we general enjoy a weak after ordering.

Living in London, indochinese food become part of your life so you try them all. From banana tree to wagamama to independent food-houses, you cannot help but to develop an expertise in the acquired Asian taste. Well Soba is probably the best independent I have tried for flavour, size and variety. And they deliver at home which made my family develop an addiction that should be looked at by the NHS. Once you try soba, any other take away fades away. Food is amazing ate at their restaurant too. Not the most beautiful place ever but clean and relaxing. My life would not be the same without. Once a week or more, we need a... Soba.

I'm slightly confused as to why there are no reviews. We discovered this restaurant two years ago and have been coming ever since, and for one simple reason- it's consistently excellent. We're both fans of Wagamama, and Soba does serve similar fusion meals- ramen, gyoza, katsu etc, but also offers bento, excellent sushi, "standard" Chinese fare (think sweet and sour, lemon chicken etc), Thai style dishes, and lots more. Portions are generous, service is friendly, attentive but not overbearing, and it's good value, better than Wagamama anyway. My tips: Try the sushi crunch, it's surprising and in my dining experience, unique. The chili and pepper squid is superb, and the broccoli is simple but very tasty. We often get the restaurant to ourselves, which may change if people take heed of this review... Also, they seem to have perfected the art of delivering food safely, but without spoiling it.

Worst Korean food I have ever had in my life. I don't even know where to start. The gyoza were just frozen low quality industrial junk. The bibimbap was absolutely tasteless, the meat was dry, the vegetables dumped in the plate without any condiment or seasoning. The egg was overcooked, and the taste was overall appalling, I could not force myself to eat the thing. I can only recommend it if you are hypertensive, as they clearly did not even bother adding a pinch of salt. Looking at the other reviews up here, they have either changed chef, or decided myself and my party did not look Asian enough to deserve putting even the minimum effort in the cooking process. Would definitely not come back.

If you overlook the decor (which is my opinion adds to the experience), Siam Brasserie is a great spot for Thai food. The owner is very pleasant too.
