I find the restaurant very good because the quality of the food is very good and the staff are very friendly.

I must say that unfortunately the reviews do not reflect our experience in this restaurant. We entered enticed by the boy outside the restaurant who was telling the reviews of the restaurant, but unfortunately we didn't find the true Indian flavor we were expecting in the dishes, furthermore, given the late hour, the service was very fast and hasty. We probably chose the wrong night. Positive note: the clash promised outside was applied to the final bill!

I wanted to go to a curry dinner but couldn't find the place we were looking for but we were hungry, we randomly decided to pick one in Bricklane and I'm glad we did because it was a great night the place was very clean and welcoming. Lots of choices on the menu.

best curry i had in a long time n kept me wanting me for more, i ordered the tandoori mix 2x as it was too good thevsucculent lamb chops n the whole grill was tasty curry n the balti lovers must try,great staff n fabulous service by all and mr shishu wasca great man for recommendations, will return love the atmosphere n all you guys are great

I recently dined at Eastern Eye Balti House, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. I ordered the butter chicken, and it was barely edible—overwhelmingly buttery with no balance of flavors, just chicken swimming in a pool of butter. My partner ordered a curry that was slightly better in taste but still far too oily. We were drawn in by the staff's offer of a 20% discount and free drinks, which they did honor. However, they also tacked on a 12.5% service fee, and soon after sitting down, they served a snack that seemed complimentary, only to charge us £1.50 per piece. The whole experience felt overpriced for what we received. I’d suggest skipping this place unless they make serious improvements to their food and transparency around costs.

Service freundlich. Mixed Meat Massala, dass muss man erst einmal hinkriegen, ALLE Fleischsorten, selbst Hähnchen!, trocken und zäh! Meiner Frau hat ihr Gericht geschmeckt, ansonsten hätte ich das Lokal mit mangelhaft gewertet. Reis wurde pro Portion mit 4,50 extra berechnet! Mit Sicherheit nicht nochmal!

I have to admit, I never had been a fan of Indian food, but I’m creating a video about London foods to try, and I had to include Tikka Masala. And to my shock… I loved it! It was creamy, tender, just the right amount of spice. I can’t even imagine how much Indian food lovers will enjoy this. And on top of all that, the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to chat with. I recommend Eastern Eye Balti House highly!

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Since the restaurant has very good reviews, we had to test it. Unfortunately the butter chicken had a very strange texture and the chicken in both curries was quite tough. The naan was the tastiest. For the price I definitely expect more.

Amazing Atmosphere and ambience, great and friendly service, and of course, the food is outstanding. We had the Chicken Bhuna, Onion Bhaji, poppadoms, butter chapati, and a paratha. The breads were cooked to perfection, and the onion bhaji were rolled into a ball, which was a nice touch. The poppadoms were freshly cooked and came warm. The pickles and sauces were very good and tasty. The Chicken Bhuna was one of the best I have had out of an Indian restaurant in a long time. If you're planning a trip to an Indian restaurant, I'd highly recommend you go here. Sadly, I forgot to take photos of the food itself as it was too good to wait before getting right in to eat.

Quite possibly one of the worst curries I've ever eaten. I love curry and I've eaten a million. Completely fell for the "been open 35 years rubbish" (how they've managed that is beyond me). The food lacked any care or culinary expertise. Was literally lumps of meat in sauce. Imagine curry made by somebody who doesn't care for food.

If you ever go bricklane for a curry this is the one to go to the lamb jhalfrezi was sooo good had to Demolish the jhalfrezi with my nan bread that's how good it was all my family enjoyed it even my little boy loved the korma had to take some takeaway for him after and great staff aswel lovely evening enjoy 😊😛

Food wise, everything was good and except the paneer which had zero flavour and was drowning in oil.

My colleague and I wanted to go for a curry dinner but as we couldn't find the place we were looking for but we were hungry, we decided to randomly opt for one on Bricklane and I am glad we did as it was such a great night. The place is very clean and welcoming. Lots of choices on the menu. We opted for saag aloo & aloo gobi with popadoms for starters and they were delicious. The main was prawns biryani which was also yummy. Very friendly staff & good service, we even got a 20% discount which made the whole dinning experience a really lovely one.

I have been in Brick-lane several times and in this restaurant twice! Great food! This time I wanted to try a spicy dish and I enjoyed it. My family had non spicy ones and they liked the dishes too. Give it a try. Friendly staff too 😃

We ate here yesterday. It was my first trip to Brick Lane in many years, and it was great to see that (unlike so much of London) it hasn't really changed since I was last here. Loads of great restaurants vying eagerly for your business. I was keen to eat balti food for which Brick Lane is famous, and we also had a vegetarian with us, so we needed somewhere that catered for both. It was a Monday and quite early, so it's not surprising it was a little bit quiet inside. I'm sure the atmosphere is lively later-on and at weekends. The staff were warm and friendly and the food was delicious. We were very happy with our choice and would definitely visit again. I particularly enjoyed my Lamb Balti and the tarka dhal. But all dishes were very well cooked and flavoursome.

Food was fantastic and specially paneer jalfrezi and chicken jalfrezi was very delicious. Johnny and cash was very kind and helpful. What a place!!
