Food was very good and sufficient for our taste. The map was also easy to understand. Service very good, very friendly. Seats are actually scarce. But that happens more often in London. Toilet could use a renovation. Overall a recommendation.

Had a great dinner at Eastern Eye, Te was a great host, the food was fresh and amazing value

They told us that we would get a 20% discount if we showed their business card but we only got 2%, and they also offered rice with the dish for €7 but without rice you couldn't eat the dish at all. It was a big mistake to go there.

Now this place IS THE BEST CURRY ON BRICK LANE. Lovely restaurant, its clean, comfortable, food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. If you want a good curry in london, this is your place to go.

before we even walked through the door, Johnny had given us a warm and enticing welcome. we ate there for their 35th anniversary this family run restaurant serves delicious food and a great example of how tradition and intentional care translates to a beautiful dining experience for every patron that walks through the door.

Absolutely terrible! The chicken Korma was way too sweet and the meat was dry. The garlic naan doesn‘t taste like garlic. After complaining to the waiter, he admitted that their food was adapted to the British taste therefore unfortunately not authentic. One star only for the service. Do not recommend.

really delicious saag paneer and aloo gobi but the chicken tikka masala was weirdly sweet. besides that, the rest of the food was really great as well. service wasn't great; it was impossible to get the waiter's attention.

Food was unsalted and the meat was dry and unfortunately only very lightly seasoned. The waiter was very unfriendly towards tourists… there were other tourists sitting next to us and we all noticed that he was only being unfriendly towards us. He was very friendly with the locals. The tables are very close together and the music was very loud.

Comfy cozy tasty Indian in Bricklane. Had a great experience in this family run restaurant, everyone on my table said the food was so tasty especially the mix grill. One of the best looking restaurant in bricklane with extra comfy seats. Will be back next week might be regulars ;-)

This is our go to restaurant when we visit London from Newcastle, the food is always first class, the staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them, and they always take time out to have a conversation. By far THE best restaurant on brick Lane. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic food, a really lovely menu with all the favourites plus some fantastic specialties. Really reasonable drinks prices. The service was lovely and friendly - we had a fabulous evening, and this felt like a great quality classic Brick Lane experience. We shall be back - thankyou Eastern Eye!

Touter done a excellent job in communicating with us and sold us the menu, was really friendly with my kids, gave us a round of drinks on the house, provided a good service, was a really great, warm atmosphere to be in, most importantly the food was quality, spices hit the right spot. Lamb Korai was not lamb, but dry mutton. We asked them if it was lamb and they said no, it was mutton. The cheek! We also asked for two coke zeros and we got 2 half pints of warm pepsi max.

I highly recommend Eastern Eye Balti House the food was so fresh and tasty, I enjoyed everything from the poppadoms to the chicken biryani and peshawari Nan bread, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff cannot do enough for you, we will be back again soon.

We come to Brick Lane several times a year and have done so for many years. We always come back to The Eastern Eye and will continue to do so. We had lunch here on one of their lunchtime deals. Absolutely fabulous. We came with friends and they all agreed. The service was impeccable food was perfect. We had several different sort of starters and main courses sharing them. 6 pints of Cobra bottle of house red (delicious) 2 courses each popadoms and finally 1 liquor or spirit each £170 including a good tip. Beat that if you can. Would I come back YES YES

So we decided to head to Brick Lane for a meal we knew things would be competitive but didn't expect just how many restaurants would be competing for business, offering varying deals. When we spoke with Johny from the Eastern Eye, I just knew that was the I wanted to dine. So pleased we chose this restaurant. I can honestly say this was one of the best places I have eaten. The food was absolutely fantastic. The food was beautifully spiced and was plentiful. What also made our experience one to remember was the very charming waiter, what a nice man and very knowledgeable about history and films and we chatted at various points between courses. From start to finish, a fabulous experience.

The elegance of the decor, the excellent staff was only surpassed by the flavor of the meal we ordered. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a great food experience. This place was recommended by our food tour guide and it was great! The Manchurian chicken had a lovely sauce and the Dahl was very flavorful. Our waiter Miah was super attentive and the table cloths and dishes were so pristine and clean. The place was packed! We did have to pass many free offers of other Indian food restaurants to get to this one and it was worth it!
