. The food was absolutely disgusting—poor quality and completely lacking in flavor. On top of that, the owner’s attitude towards customers was dismissive and rude, which made the experience even worse. I was also surprised to learn that they only accept cash, which raises concerns about proper business practices. Definitely not a place I would ever return to.

Whenever I go to Lahore one I am blown away. The staff. The food. It is absolutely the best place to go in London for a coffee. 10 out of 10 every time.

The food was good but beware of unexpected extra charges. They will charge of all the chutneys they will give will seem like on the house but they will charge you for all the chutneys. They offered in a very friendly manner but at the end they made me feel like they cheated for money. Beware of the friendly attitude.

Excellent East End no frills Pakistani restaurant. Limited menu for the reason of excellence. Dishes packed with authentic flavour and served in a friendly and welcoming manner. BYOB + no corkage fee*great value = return visit 👍

This is a no frills eatery - £20 for dinner for two, was delicious, easy going and fast. Chicken Biryani is good but the saag paneer was amazing. Cash only fyi

Food and service was okay. But sitting arrangements not good. No privacy. We can hear other's conversations. And they only take cash. When I asked for receipt I was given hand written receipt on a small piece of paper which has no meaning.

Super friendly and welcoming owners, every dish is absolutely delicious, well balanced, love the fresh ginger on top of the currys. Lamb falls apart, garlic naans super fresh, my friend had to take a moment when eating the Karahi Gosht because it tasted just like the one his grandmother used to make ❤️ We come often and will be back again soon. Thank you!

Amazing food and nice people serving food with kindness

This restaurant is a complete scam. How on earth does a single roti cost £1.50? Six rotis are priced at £9—ridiculous! The chicken portion, priced at £12.50, is so tiny it would only be suitable for a child under 12. And as for the kebabs, you get 4 for £10, but they're so small they look like okra (lady fingers). I strongly advise against dining here—charging £1.50 per roti is outrageous.

Freezing cold take away- refused to refund us or take it away. Said they told us on the phone it was cold which they did not . Clearly not cooked fresh and it’s not just like warm It’s freezing cold from the fridge or freezer. Awful customer service. I will complain to the highest level to get a refund. I’m sure they have broken the law refusing to refund us and refusing to take the cold food back. Will NEVER is them again.

For authentic Pakistani cuisine in London, this spot in Whitechapel is unbeatable. Expect flavorful kebabs, rich curries, and fragrant biryanis. The atmosphere is lively, service is quick, and prices are reasonable. A top choice for a genuine taste of Pakistan.

Basic but tasty and good value. Not a showstopper but i always like a small menu of dishes that they have nailed - enjoyable food and nice staff. BYOB is a plus.

I've walked past this place on my way home many times, decided to stop in. Lovely meal. As a single diner, they still made me feel special. Gorgeous Karahai Gosht and Tandoori Parata. Staff are lovely! Two points for people to bear in mind: 1) they don't have a licence to serve alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own; 2) cash only, although there are cash machines close by

Food was tasty, not very expensive but then there is a lot of competition in the area, karai was tasty the kebabs were lamb not chicken very nice could have been a bigger portion size... Over all nice food and very authentic

Very poor quality food that is overpriced. The staff look tired and unfriendly. Hygiene is an issue. Portions are very small and tasteless. Salad plate consists of just cabbage with a few strands of carrot. Poppadoms were tiny as opposed to the regular sized ones. I will not be going back.

We had a bespoke service where they catered for an event, and their food did not let us down! The chana was a HIT and the Biryani's were so tasty and juicy, and the rice was cooked just right! Properly stuffed samosas and I 100% Will be returning to try the rest of their menu

I have visited Lahore One Restaurant three times now and all the times they have been very receptive. Their Chicken Karahi by far is really good. Biryani was good but could be improved and same can be said about their Chicken Tikka roll. I have yet to try out the acclaimed chana and saag but I am hoping it’ll be good. Overall their food is good for value.

The best food, the famous Chana (i got it spicy) is insane Pilah rice, warm naan, so delish, and they have the best sauces 👌🏼 Thank you for another great meal, didn’t take any photos as was starving but will update next time ❤️❤️❤️

I ordered Lamb biryani it’s horrible just boil rice and put lamb pieces inside westing time and money not preferred for anyone too expensive £10 lamb biryani and test like boiled rice

Amazing Food!!! I recently visited a Pakistani restaurant on Commercial Road, London, and it was an incredible experience. The food was amazing, showcasing authentic flavors and a wide variety of dishes. The Karahai chicken was particularly outstanding, cooked to perfection with rich spices and tender chicken. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Pakistani cuisine!

Portion sizes bad. Hardly any paneer in paneer chilli. It was more like bell pepper chilli. The lamb biryani looked and tasted like homeless shelter food. Not even exaggerating. Order it to see. And what was that lentil gravy with biryani? Which culture does this blasphemous act? No bone in karahi chicken. Ok. Why no taste also? Not ok. Coke was good. Oh coke is not theirs. I ate because i paid. Simple.

Hands down the absolute best curries I've ever had. Bursting with flavour. A large group, the food came in good time. Great service and staff. Update: I've come in several times since, usually bringing our friends and this place has never let us down! Great food, clean, great staff.

Methi Chicken and Roti's are authentic as it can get, avoid the seekh kebab at all cost, it's anything but a seekh kebab it's disrespect to seekh kebab, it was burnt and thinner than a ice lolly. Lamb tikka was decent but there is no need for chilli flakes on lamb tikka.

This place is always busy in the evenings so best to visit in the daytime. Seating is cramped and wheelchair access to this place is zero simply because of the size of the place - it’s very small. It was a good vegetarian menu and vegan options. However, the chicken and kebabs are extremely tasty too. Services fast, especially when you need extra breads. It’s not the cheapest place for food, but the quality reflects what you get so just bear that in mind. A lunch for two with two x curries, breads and two x starters and soft drinks usually sets you around £50-70. Incredible always consistent quality . Unfortunately, they close between one and two on a Friday, so just remember this as I travel up from South London on a monthly basis and have made this mistake more than twice lolz. About 50 people over two floors. They only take cash, but there is a ATM next door. There is free parking across the street or parking 50 m away . Do not park in the McDonald’s opposite - you will get a ticket.

Have been frequenting this place for 35 years. You would not like it it its too good for you. The food too tasty and way too good value. It's awful that instead of paying £30 for rubbish wine you can get the best available in Tesco 4 doors down and no corkage. It's also quite small so way too cramped for you because me and my mates will taking up all the room. Also the people who run it are far to nice and care too much about what they are doing to be your sort of place. For me though its the best restaurant in town.

The food here is incredible and the service is brilliant at Lahore. Ali was our server and was very attentive and cared for us throughout the meal and the food was so fresh. Had chicken tikka as a starter and was the best I have eaten. The main consisted of Methi Chicken and rice and I honestly have never had a curry like it. What a treat!!

Food is absolutely amazing, authentic food. Beautifully cooked and enjoyed by a group of 7. We left extremely satisfied & full for 20 quid each. That’s pretty special in London, one not to miss if you’re in the area.
