I had a fantastic meal at City Spice on Brick Lane! As a vegan, I really appreciated their dedicated vegan menu, which offers plenty of delicious options. We tried the Shobji Garlic, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty vegan Indian food in London!

Fake deal of £15 they charged us £17, the food was at best mediocre. Don't really recommend. There's probably better places for cheaper.

One of the only restaurants to not be pushy while out on the street and when I arrived almost every table was in use. Staff were very good, attentive without being too busy and the food was as I’d hoped. Exactly what I was looking for.

A superb Indian with team from work on a Monday night. The restaurant was busy and the food was delicious. Starter, main, rice, naan and two drinks for £20 was an amazing deal!

Dreadful. We ordered from the vegan menu so I was shocked to find a lump of some kind of meat in my second mouthful. When I flagged this with wait staff, the response was to make another, when at this point I couldn't trust them to feed me and just wanted to leave. "Sorry mate" and a smirk was not an appropriate way to end things. If you can't get dietary requirements right you really shouldn't be serving people food. Don't trust these guys.

Friday, Valentine’s night and yet needed no booking. ‘Table for one?’ I asked and got the response ‘Just for one?’. The joys of the traveling Mr Nomates. Busy, as you would expect on the night but still a smattering of noisy banker boys. Pleasant enough room, upstairs better than down. The lamb chop appetizer excellent the main, Chicken Madras has heat but little else to make it noteworthy. Normal Brick Lane pushing of Indian breads and the receipt written so poorly (in particular the amounts) that checking it was difficult. Decent and I would return and my choice of night was likely poor as they were pushing to turn the tables

Fablas food - quite quiet mid Saturday afternoon.
