Great vegan menu and good value. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I loved the variety on the vegan thali plate and my husband especially loved the pickle with the poppadoms. Would recommend. 💕✨️

Dreadful. We ordered from the vegan menu so I was shocked to find a lump of some kind of meat in my second mouthful. When I flagged this with wait staff, the response was to make another, when at this point I couldn't trust them to feed me and just wanted to leave. "Sorry mate" and a smirk was not an appropriate way to end things. If you can't get dietary requirements right you really shouldn't be serving people food. Don't trust these guys.

Was pressured into giving a 5 star review. The server stayed by my side and as soon as I opened Google, he took over and clicked on 5 stars. On MY phone. I was taken aback. The food was okay but the whole vibe was off. Soooo many servers were constantly hovering and pushy. Also, there were two bodyguards outside? Really weird. Please don’t be fooled by all the accolades, most of them are fake and almost every restaurant on Brick Lane says they’re the best. Based on my experience, all the 5 stars you’re seeing here are not all genuine. People were probably pressured as well or they got a discount or free drinks or something. Please sort the reviews by showing the lowest ratings first. Those experiences are more of a reflection of the restaurant and the vibe.

This was our first time dining here, and it certainly won’t be our last! The food was excellent, with generous portions and amazing flavors. The service was outstanding, and our table location was perfect.

Whether you prefer mild flavors or something with a bit of heat, there’s something for everyone. The ambience is lovely, and the noise levels are low, making conversation easy. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and will be coming back! Came in as a post work meal, steady stream of people coming throughout the evening, all upstairs table full by 6. Lovely atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, friendly and could help with everything needed. The food is one of the best curries I've probably had! Poppadom try nice, and loved the extra touch of coconut being available. Never had that before and was a great addition. Had the chicken tikka massala and probably the only curry I've had you can even taste the flavour of the marinated chicken through the sauce. Sagg also was lovely and the naan bread size was perfect for me as I was eating alone. Overall amazing experience and so full, will sleep well tonight!

Great food and wonderful service

Had an amazing meal at City Spice today! Tried the pepper lamb with mushrooms and the rohi masala fish, and the fish was definitely my favorite—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Also had saag aloo and mixed kebabs, both really well done. The service was great, super friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be coming back for the fish again. Highly recommend!

As always, our favorite place for Indian food. Having just come back from Rajasthan, the flavors felt truly authentic. Unfortunately, UK prices are a bit higher than New Delhi, but the experience was worth every penny!

A great experience! Food was amazing. Dishes that have appeared on a million menus were reinvented and reinvigorated, and items that were new (to us at least) were every bit their equal. Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful.
