Kathmandu Nepalese Cuisine in Ealing

Both Lamb Jalfrezi and Chicken Biryani were absolutely delicious. Great quality and delivered hot, in good time. The Momo are some of the best I've had too.

Delicious Jalfrezi and Biryani at the prefect level of spice. The momo are good quality too, very tasty.

The grilled prawns were great as usual. The rest did not taste fresh unfortunately, had to throw some stuff. Not sure what happened this time. Hopefully they fix it as it used to be very good.

King Prawn Curry: extremely disappointing. For the price, there were hardly no prawns. Chicken Bhuna: the chicken was so dry. Mushroom rice; well you can’t please everyone all of the time. For a first time customer I’m sad to say this was below my expectations and I will think long & hard before ordering from here again. I had hoped to be leaving a very different review

If I had to rate this food from 1 to 10 I would give 3 terrible rip-off spinach dish had barely any spinach is hilarious what they got me stop scamming people never again

First time ordering from here, usually order from Ealing balti house but I thought I’d try another restaurant. The food was so expensive for the smallest portion. The vindaloo was watery and flavourless, 5 small bits of chicken and one potato. Over £40 for very small portions. I will not be ordering form here again, I can’t believe all the reviews are so good. Half of it went in the bin, Hyatt watery sauce.

I early ordered from Kathmandu Nepalese, but the food seemed to come from India India. I ordered an hour before they would be delivering...but then they delivered 45 mins at least after it was supposed to be deliveered...so effectively I waited for nearly 1.75 for the food. It was very good, but I was ravenous by the time it arrived.

This is a fantastic take away place , genuinely nice people who work there and really authentic flavour to the food as well. Nice portions. Food came on time , at the earliest point , and was just as if it came out of the kitchen from a sit down restaurant. Fantastic!

The delivery was much earlier than expected, so do expect it to arrive ASAP when you choose “asap” as as a delivery time. The service from this restaurant is great. Unfortunately, I found the chicken Korma to be way too sweet. It felt like I was eating a dessert. I think if the level of sweetness was toned down, it could be a lovely dish.

Amazing quality. Nan bread freshly baked, soft went well with my Gurkhali chicken.

The food was good, well cooked, flavoured etc. It's just a shame that they did not provide any chutney/sauce with the tandoori items, which is a norm from most places, and even a little salad.

Leave the food outside in the cold and not even called us. At less the driver could call us instead of that leave in the cold and food is cold now. So poor service. Never going to be order food again with this guys. :(

The momo is the frozen Gurkha momo one so not worth the money. The Jhol momo was entirely spilled inside the plastic bag. Waste of money. I haven’t tried anything else so maybe the rest is good. I’m only reviewing what I had.

Oh this food is amazing. Another time, another delicious meal. So flavourful and perfectly seasoned and done. Great restaurant and delivery service l. this is one of my favourite places in Ealing. Highly recommended. So Good

Lovely food and delivery driver

The lamb madras was so spicy it had no flavour to it. Hardly any lamb tiny little chunks!! Chicken pakora wings are excellently seasoned. Unfortunately hardly any meat on them to and a rip off for £8. Feel like you ripped me off!!!!

Missing item, hardly any meat in chicken and lamb dishes, chicken dry. Thought would try as recommended by friend but very disappointing, waste of a treat.

Really nice, hot food arrived and extremely tasty (although Bombay Aloo was the only thing slightly warm) I still enjoyed the food. The lamb was tender and the sauce delicious. Just the B Aloo stopped me from giving everything Outstanding. Still will be ordering again-soon

The daal was poorly flavoured & watery in consistence. The Okra was delicious. The chicken Jalfrezi was tasty, but too full of onions. The paratha was good. Overall it was OK, but there are much better Indian restaurants taking better care of their food preparation. Delivery driver was nice & friendly.

It was really late this time. The lamb in the tikka masala was tough and the sauce really sweet and coconutty. More like Korma. I ordered at 7.40pm and got it at 9.15pm. Really sad as Ive ordered so many times before and its been great. Maybe a bad day?

Hot, tasty vegetarian selection and appreciated the new item such as pea pilau and smoked eggplant. I'd returned to London staying with a friend and she loved my selection. Shame we couldn't work out if the new Momo soup was vegetarian or not. Maybe it's the Just Eat App or some detail missed by the restaurant. We had no time to be calling so went with what was specified as vegetarian.

Have ordered from here before, I was shocked at how bad my recent order was. Dry, flavourless - I don’t know if they have changed chef’s or owners but a Rogan Josh is not meat in a sour tomato sauce? Where were the flavours and spices. I won’t be ordering again. I had to throw nearly all of it away.

Absolutely fantastic! Tried many Nepalese places locally. This is the best in the area in my opinion. Shashlik chicken was succulent, tender and seasoned beautifully. The gurkali chicken was rich with tomato, onion and spice. Honestly blown away. Can't say a single bad word. Will definitely be coming back!

As always, the takeaway food from this restaurant is superb. They have an extensive menu of delicious items, which always arrive hot and well-packed. Very highly recommended!

The food was OK. Its been better when I've ordered food from there before. It seemed like the biryani had too much garam masala in it.

Second time I have ordered from here and it was delicious again. All parts of the meal done to perfection, and the delivery came early - but not worryingly early, if you know what I mean! Great service all round here.

This is a good restaurant to eat in. The food is very good and just as good in takeaway form. Unfortunately their delivery service is nearly always late. Last two times the delay has been 30 minutes or more.

When order was placed, ETA was 35-50mins, but then got a message saying it was delayed by about 20 mins, but it took even longer than that, a further 20 mins from leaving restaurant to arriving, delivery driver used a car which is too slow really, food was tasty but cold, and very late. In the end it took almost 1 1/2 hours, not the quoted 35-50mins

In our opinion, Kathmandu is the best Indian restaurant in Ealing. We order regularly and the food is always delicious and comes piping hot. The restaurant is excellent and that’s why it gets so busy on Fridays and the weekend, but the food is definitely worth the wait!
