Had a party and Udham bhaiya helped me take care of everyone and the food and the vibe was really good

One Staff with the spec girl was really rude. She don’t know how to speak with Customer I was going to the washroom and she said don’t you see this is a private party which I don’t know about it and she said you don’t have a sense you don’t have mind. How can you come in this side? That was the only way I used to go to the washroom. I use this restaurant many times i’ve been there many times, but this was a terrible situation that happened to me and which I think it’s unacceptable. Your restaurant is good but you need to train your staff. and when I was speaking with owner, I told her about that girl and she was not even apologising she started arguing with the owner and she was not sorry I don’t think I’m gonna go there anymore just because of that one Staff I gave one star but for the staff management I don’t think I should give one star rest of the staff is good with that one girl was really rude. She need to be trained. How to speak with Customer.

The best restaurant in Southall , the best bbq lamb , soup of lamp and owner is very nice person give you best service and food , I love this place , food quality and hospitality best service

I came with my family yesterday , we ordered the starter the Veg Platter which seem precooked already and food was not fresh and presentation was not good at all. Chicken Tikka was good and so was the Kebabs. Ordered the main vegetarian dishes and asked for mild but all the vegetarian dishes were very spicy and unable to eat. The tandoori Roti was so thick and unable to eat. The Chicken dhaba dish was flavourless. Out of 3 Vegetarian dishes Dal Makni was the best. The food was overpriced and not value for money. And very disappointed and wont be returning again.

Really disappointed with the quality, taste and service at Blue Orchid. This restaurant used to be a favourite location to come to with my friends and family. We had starters and left due to feeling very disappointed. Will not be coming here again.

We had a fantastic evening with our friends on 9/12/2023. We were given a table in the main function room. We had the whole function room to ourselves! Service was excellent. The ladies were attentive and served our drinks and food. Food portions were generous but more importantly tasted really delicious! Butter chicken, Lamb karahi and paneer karahi were really tasty and would recommend. Sunny the owner gave us the dance floor and we were able to play some Bollywood music to dance to. What a night!!! Sunny, thank you for the lovely birthday drinks and sparkly candle (on the house). We would recommend for anyone to visit for good food and great service with the added touches and charm of Sunny!!! We will be coming back soon.

I ordered peshawari naan it was smells like egg and sweet like cack . I was very unpleasant.

Very poor service as we entered nobody attended us . Even no one was bothered to give us table or serve us . Such a bad ambiance.

Food was so delicious here that nothing less than 5 stars would be acceptable. If you are craving authentic north Indian food in a simple place run by Indians then you need to try this place. Ignore the decor.

A shocking experience. Staff need training . Glass broke in hands, staff cleared the glass but didn’t bother clearing floor despite asking. Papodams are £1.50 for 1 papodam don’t mind paying if the standards were high. Food tastes good so chef must be really good but service shocking as staff donot have basic courtesy. Manager gave 25% off but nothing matches the website. Sky sports but no sport on the tele as it was blank. 1 TV in hall and unless you sat on 1 side of table you cannot watch it. Drinks were given without a measure. So we had to re order drinks as 1 double and 1 half just to prove that our first doubles were not really a double shot. We left without having any mains or deserts.

First time I have been invited to the Blue Orchid restaurant. At first the environment it looked a bit shabby, a bit cold like a restaurant that is going to close down, having doors with broken glass and sellotaped plus indian music very high in one side of the restaurant that we couldn't understand each other. But then when the important things came - meaning the food - I was surprised for the taste, and portions.. Also the waiters were so nice and assisting me and my friends in everything including when we asked to lower down a bit the volume of the music... I will definitely go back again

Good food especially the Dahl kohlapuri and the starter portions are generous. However in need of a full interior refurbishment and cleanliness could be better. There was lots of food under our table when we sat down

I had a chicken curry and kebabs. Kebabs were ok and curry wasn't bad. Woke had methi potatoes. She only had a few spoons as it was full of oil. She spend the night on the toilet

Pathetic service, we asked for onion and lemon and they charged us as green salad in any other indian restaurant it is offered free, also had to ask too many times for jug of water. Place was too cold and not a nice ambience.

Avoid this place at all means. Visited this place for a party and had the worst meal and a sad ambience. The curry’s didn’t even have any taste to it.

Used to be good food served here, and we used order regularly. Not sure what's going on, but food has definitely gone downhill in the past few months. We ordered the spicy buttered chicken - which tasted musty as if it came out of the freezer and definitely wasn't fresh, and not spicy or tasty. The chicken tikka wasn't actually chicken tikka - it was just grilled chicken. The salad that came with it was appalling - huge lumps of carrot with inch thick rounds of onion, with a little tomato and some random chilis. We used to be semi-regulars, but won't be coming in, or ordering again.

Decent restaurant, spacious and with high class service

Best Afghani food after long time, staff very nice, ambience is not typical pub style but still decent place to walk in.

Food was good, however the experience would be better if the service was better.

The food here is fantastic but do call ahead on the day to make sure that they are open. The published times are only a rough guide in my experience and on several occasions over the years, I have called to find that they are closed. Doesn’t stop me trying to go back there though!

Being ignored by the barman after standing there for 5 minutes with my money in my hand, was enough for me to just walk out .

Rubbish service don't even bother going there. Waitress was rubbish. Money wasted.

Grab the papadums and chutney- that combo with a beer makes this place a hit already. However they also do excellent Palak Paneer, Biryani, chicken momos. Food can be spicy, always my go to for takeaway.

Fast Service and Friendly Staff. Food: A few standout dishes that were really good and would definitely try again, rest of the dishes were average. 7/10.

we visited this lovely restaurant 3 of us , we all had the lamb seekh kebabs ,the portions were great ,They were cooked to perfection as were the onions, we all enjoyed them, We had lamb madras curry with pilau rice, also lamb biryani, the lamb was lovely and tender , really tasty. also chicken jalfrezi pilau rice , also cooked perfectly. tasty delicious, we had kulfi for desert , really nice after food, we had quite a few alcoholic drinks too. THE GIRL WAITRESSES WERE EXCELLENT AND POLITE, all in all it was a pleasant night eating lovely food, And listening to nice indian music. we will return again,

Food was amazing but too pricey we got somewhere that we thought was a complimentary at start of meal but seems like we were charge for it anyway without being informed just didn't like that but staff and eveyone was really friendly

Love the food, I've only ordered online but the food has never disappointed me and I have enjoyed the variety. Just a tad expensive for my liking and wished the drinks were cheaper or bigger in serving size

Went here for some quite time to do some writing. The waiter was super friendly and attentive even helped with my book 😅. The food was delicious and came at a reasonable time. Will definitely make this my new writing spot 👍🏽 ( I had the lamb chops with chilli garlic naan. Unfortunately won’t let me upload videos)

Good Food. But the prices are a rip-off. A standard naan bread now costs £2.50 each when ordered online via Deliveroo. And the meat curries are as high as £10 each. Next time, I will order from alternatve restaurants that don't charge over-inflated prices.

Came here for mother’s day and the food and service was horrible!! We had ordered our starters and they were messing up all the orders, our food came before our drinks and we were waiting for an hour just for a momo. When we asked what happened to it they had told us it was given to another table. The staff need to do better and learn the table numbers and the chefs need to do better and cook better food. Will not be coming back here, I do not recommend it at all.

Great service provided. Everything on the menu was absolutely delicious especially bhindi masala, chilli chicken, daal and so much more that we all absolutely devoured. Loved the atmosphere and we all enjoyed. Definitely a must go for everyone!

Must visit place 🤩 I went to this place with 5 of my friends and had an amazing time. The service was quick and everyone was supportive in their own terms. The food was the best I had in a very long time and you must definitely try Mayapuri chicken, Afghani live barbeque, cocktails (variety of choices). It is an everyday going place where you would find decent and amazing crowd to chill. All in all the best place I have ever been in London in my 7 months of stay here till now 👍

Normally order a takeaway and it's very tasty. This time, we decided to sit in and eat. The decor was lovely, the staff were brilliant and the food was even tastier than when delivered. As the name suggests, Blue orchid turned out be one of the best restaurants in town ! The team at the restaurant are courteous and make you feel at home. Menu has a variety and the lamb couldn't be better. Must visit for guests looking for a wholesome Indian food journey!

I love the food and excellent customer service and love to go again and again and specially never get problem to find a parking here and their, just park in front of blue orchid with free parking bay and enjoy lovely food

Great food and the staff is also very good and helpful. People should definitely give it a try. I ordered the Chicken Momos and the Afghani Kebab in starters. They were simply delicious. In the main course i had the Butter chicken and Garlic Naan, the naan was very tasty but the Butter chicken could have been a little better.

Ordered a meal for delivery via tastecard. Order was rejected despite being under 2 miles away! What’s the point of being part of tastecard when they just reject orders! Waste of time and won’t be visiting or ordered by from here again.

We have starter menu here. It was good but little lemony taste in every dish. They have Dal makhni (Chef's special) but it's not that much good that I have in Kho Kho. Overall good. They have less space for parking on weekends 🙄.

Food was not too bad, thanks to chef but we attended a reserved dinner program here and you know what, the manager ordered to remove main course within 30 minutes, what kind of customer service is this !!! There was a music and dance going on and you are asking your staff to remove main course within less then half an hour of opening time !! Really...!!! we book venue not only for food but also to enjoy our good timing....thank you but no thank you.

Went out of the blue there for a meal with no reservation felt a bit dark but the food was amazing taste the service was good! Thank you for a pleasant and satisfying evening! Will come again

I'm not sure how this place have so many high starts. We had a really bizzarre experience there. What meant to be a lovely evening meal turned into a short stay. First we could not get a decent wine as the menu we were given was old and what was on offer was very limited. The drinks were brought in and left on the table for us to serve ourselves. We ordered some starters first and decided to order mains later. The food was ok but not the best for Indian restaurant standards. We never got to the main course as no one came to take the order so we paid and left.

Dining at the Blue Orchid was a very pleasant experience, staff were covid secure, very attentive to our needs, the food was really exquisite Char Siu Pork (Very lean thin slices of delicious pork), Hong Kong Style Sweet and sour chicken and the Chow mein shredded chicken were all superb. They accommodated a planned birthday meal with complimentary birthday music to go with the surprise. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant was very modern, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to experience and have a meal.

Food is very hit or miss. Not necessarily bad but where it can be decent, sometimes it is quite bad. This comes down to quality of the meat and the flavours of the food. I would go back but not in a rush

Lovely place, visited today as it was recommended by a family member. Authentic food, great service. They were very accommodating with my disabled child. Thank u, will visit again after the lockdown.
