Ealing Balti House in Ealing

I travelled all the way from Cardiff for a curry here. It was superb to say the least. Excellent service. I’ll be back for sure.

Always great service and a warm welcome. The menu has old favourites as well as some good house specialities such as Chicken Manchuri. A great place to have round the corner. We love to bring friends and family here.

We stumbled on this place after two pubs had closed their kitchens early and it was so meant to be! A wonderful three course meal, wonderful service from Aziz, great value for money. My dad can’t wait to back and visit to go again, thank you Aziz and team!

Was going to this restaurant anyway but realised they had a fixed price menu that included everything I could want ( it’s on Mondays and Wednesdays for a limited time). Was so good that I came back twice in the same week. Great fresh flavours and textures that I would highly recommend. Even without the offer it’s great value.

Really enjoyed the meal. Great selection of starters mains and side dishes which were included in a £12.95 fixed price deal. Great quality an value

We spotted board outside as we were passing so decided to go in and try out the mid week deal which was about £12 or £13 for starter, main, sundry and side dish. They didn't mention that the portion sizes are smaller than normal, so we were quite disappointed with the quantity we were served. I'm not sure I'd return in a hurry as the waiter was also a bit grumpy which didn't help and it took ages to bring over our drinks. I guess they're not doing too well as during our visit there were was only 1 other group at another table and I think someone came in to collect a takeaway. We had to buy more food on the way home as we were still hungry!

I have no idea what happened to my curry, husbands lamb was OK,if rather tired. My chicken seems to have been lost in the journey from the kitchen, I received a bowl of Tikka sauce,with absolutely NO solid ingredients. Bizarre. A sort of loose slurry. Not a dal,which I love .

Excellent food. Have ordered from here a few times recently. I actually had my first ever chicken tikka masala here around 20 years ago! All the food tastes fresh, good spice and good size portions.

The food is nice but if you order to your home it never comes wrapped properly. A few times my order has spilled out into the bag. I ordered some food and this is what I got. Unfortunately I won’t be ordering again, this happens too often

The food was decent as always, tasty & quality. My problem was with the delivery driver. I don’t expect to open my door to a huge waft of cigarette smoke! He delivered my food & came to my door smoking. Not impressed

Used to be a great restaurant. Found a screw in my food and the manager was very aggressive and rude. Won’t be having again. Check your food!

Food and service are second to none. Tandoori mixed grill as starter straight from the gods it is soooo good. Balti Lamb fell apart in my mouth and for the price of it you cannot argue. Naan bread and poppadom fresh and tasty. Service brilliant and very friendly and happy to talk. Family have been coming here for over 30 years and will continue to for the next 30. Could not recommend enough

Awful delivery service everytime I order from this place there late! All my orders are through just eats my last order took nearly 3 hours and then I find out its sombody from the restraunt that delivered my food told him he was late instead of apologising he's trying to argue! looked out my window he was walking a mile up the street! I have a communal drive way so clearly he took the bus to my house disgusting!

Great food and great service, a place you should definitely check out if you like Indian food and are in ealing, won't be disappointed

Chewy chicken . Chicken was old. Funky taste

The taste of the food was fairly standard, however the chicken was hard and rubbery so it made food not enjoyable. Parathas were good tho .. unfortunately won’t be going back!

The korma sauce was not packed properly and half of it was wasted in the carrier bag. The mixed Grill and the Rice were too little and definitely Not value for money. Regret ordering from this place. Spoke with the restaurant. Not apologise or anything. Blamed Deliveroo driver. NOT appropriate attitude or customer service.

Food was cold . Naan bread soggy . Poppadoms smashed into 100 pieces. I use to love their food. Shame my last to orders was really disappointing.

Beautifully spiced, piping hot and very generously portioned. My 'go-to' South Asian restaurant locally. Particularly recommend the Mixed Kebab starter with melts in your mouth.

Ordered late night dinner, all dishes were very tasty. Some mild and some spicy, for vegetarian friends and meat eaters. Friendly atmosphere and very good service. Highly recommended local restaurant.

The portion of mixed grill wasn’t what I expected for that price. Portion was so small. So to be honest disappointed with food portion size of mixed grill but I can’t fault the flavours seasoned. Very delicious dish but please consider the portion size for the price you sell it. The driver was fantastic a real gentlemen and a pleasant friendly face.

Food was too oily the tandoori chicken was so dry. Me and my wife were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night. (Saying something). Also the staff has no manners as I saw them being very rude to the deliveroo drivers coming in.

A few minutes late bit no worries. Portions were generous. Korma really oily sorry to say whereas all other dishes were excellent. Will definitely be ordering again.

Was kept up to date as there was a delay that was really good. The delivery driver also apologized about the delay which also was good. Food was very good.

The food was basically the run of the mill type.... ready made red curry with pieces of seprately cooked chicken thrown in .... loads of coconut and sugar as well which essentially is not how butter chicken is made. the paneer peas curry was even more of an embrassment with the peas and paneer as good as frozen hard and again sugary curry. the naan was burnt underneath and uncooked around the edges.... never again....

The food they delivered was wrong so they had to come back with the correct order.

Best curry house I’ve dined at. Nowhere else has made me want to come back every week and rotate through a selection of incredible dishes. The onion bhajis are without doubt the best I have ever had in my life, ever. See you next week!

Food is good but why do they they got delivery it’s going to be on ok to stack curries with paper lid boxes inside a paper bag? There will be 100% chance of spilling inside the bag if you order from here. Almost everywhere else would use a plastic watertight container; there’s no way the slightly cheaper packaging is worth losing customers and refunds for.

Food was cold and very oily, this used to be our go to restaurant until we moved away, we are just visiting this weekend and decided to have a takeaway, to say we are disappointed is an understatement.

Rice was cold & Main dish (lamb curry) was sparse. Just a few pieces of lamb swimming in a sea of sauce, very bad value at £16, Bombay Aloo was fine. Will never order from Ealing Balti House again.

Took our Swiss friends there - they were over the moon. Very delicious food - tried chicken dishes- Tandoori, Jalfrezi , Bhuna and Butter Chicken. We’ve been ordering takeaway from the place for years but this time went for a sit-in. Also professional and helpful staff. Robert.

Not long received food from here and when I opened the bag it’s like someone had sat on it. The curry had spilt absolutely everywhere. Consequently there wasn’t much left to eat. This restaurant delivered themselves so they can’t blame Just Eat

The food came and it was like it was sat on. Wish I could upload a picture. The curry was completely squashed and tipped over the bag. Plus the Poppadum’s were in a million pieces. I asked for my korma to be mild and sadly it wasn’t. This is the second time this rest has got it wrong. I’m giving up on it now

I have ordered several times from here and the food has always been really good. I wouldn’t have left another review but the driver asked me too. The chicken korma was very spicy this evening which was inedible. I purposely order a korma as I don’t like spicy food. I also ordered two peshwari naan and that’s not what I received. Not happy this time around

they had to change drivers easy to accept but they didn't let me know at that time because I would have cancelled. This was supposed to be a special meal that I was looking forward to all day. exceptionally disappointed and what makes it worse is that I have always enjoyed the food and in the restaurant eating experience ..... won't be able to enjoy it at all shame .... it is so late I can't actually eat any of it now angry very angry and all you say is sorry

The chicken tikka balti jalfrezi was rich and flavoursome. Fresh green chillies gave it some heat. It was the best curry I'd had in years.

I ordered Three items and they delivered only 2 items. One was missing. When i called the restaurant they told me to come to collect it.What is silly service. Horrible customer service. I had to call 3 times to ask where is my order. Avoid this please. I did not get the refund for the missing item.FOOD was AWFUL. Avoid this horrible place.

The chicken korma and peshwari Naan was lovely. However my husband said his chicken curry was watery and tasteless.

The Nann was very delectable, the staff are very kind and quick, The place is very hygienic and also the sauces are very tasty.

Over cooked food, prawns rock hard and mixed grill very dry. I phoned and complained, they put the blame on Just Eat. Call me stupid but Just Eat didn’t cook the food and what I didn’t realise also didn’t deliver, but was told because I ordered through Just Eat it was down to them. Well this is the last time after 20 years I will use Ealing Balti House and will advise people to be weary.

Ealing Balti House is one of the most authentic Indian food I have had. As an Asian, I have had many curries in many restaurants, and I can tell the difference the way a curry is made. The chefs really put their passion in making the dishes, I love the flavours. I have to also say Azizur Rahman (the Boss) and Abul my favourite waiter are always so so welcoming. They really take the time to explain the dishes and any questions I may have. Very peaceful place and will always be a Gem of a place. 10 Stars!

This is absolutely my favourite local curry house, and there are loads within a few miles. Very consistent, tasty food, friendly staff. We've been going there for decades, since it was West Ealing Tandoori. Never had a disappointing meal. I can't say the same about some of the better-known Indian restaurants around Ealing. Some were good for a while, then lost their mojo. Some got it back, then lost it again. Ealing Balti, well, it's hard to find a reason to go anywhere else. Lucky for us they are the closest.

Ordering from here for years now - Ordered tonight and it was rotten. I’d eat a curry everyday of the week but that was embarrassing. Mint sauce came warm, chicken tough and chewy, bland curry and off coloured potatoes. When calling up to explain, they offer no resolution or substitutions. never again!

I was very disappointed the whole meal wasn’t up to there normal standard onion baji to greased spinach had no potato in it curry was watery it chicken tikka burnt I normally order from them but this time not happy I feel 30 pound was wasted

Order confirmed at 7pm. Email from JustEat - "order expected 7.45 -8.05". Text received from JustEat at 7.37 to say "food on its way". At 8.25, no sign of the food so I called the restaurant who told me they had a problem with their machine and the food would arrive in 20 mins or so. What machine? If the food was on its way, the only "machine" which could have had a problem was the driver's vehicle. Food finally delivered at 8.54pm - no explanation of the delay, no apology. Disappointed with delivery time, Thankfully the food was excellent - as always.

Unfortunately this might be one of the worst curries I have ordered. I ordered the a chicken vindaloo because I like my food very spicy, the vindaloo here was very tasteless very wet and had hardly any flavour to it. The chicken was rubbery as it was overcooked which I had to throw most of the pieces away as it was in edible. Generally the curry was very very disappointing. It had no flavour at all and was just a very wet sauce on top of rubbery chicken. Their samosas were also quite pale and just about cooked and also very flavourless I had to put some salt on them. This is my first and last order with this restaurant.

I have used this Indian Restaurant for many years it was formally called the Bilash. It serves reasonably good Indian food.

The man didn’t even attempt to buzz my door or come up the stairs, the point of delivery is for it to be delivered. Not for me to come out of my house and down 6 flights of stairs. If he has a bad knee please don’t send him to an estate.

Such lovely staff. Chicken balti is amazing, as-well as the chicken tikka. Always our spot when we fancy a curry!

Food arrived about 15 mins late (cos it's Saturday night?) and some of it wasn't as hot as it could be. On the plus side - the food itself was excellent as it usually is from EBH. Definitely order again.

This has become my weekly treat and they have never let me down. Food always arrives on time, is always hot and well contained, and not to mention absolutely delicious. One of the best quality Indian takeaways I have had. Could not recommend more.
