Our first time visiting and we had a great evening, the food, service and atmosphere was great. The food was good value and good portion sizes, we all had plenty to eat sharing multiple starters and curry’s as a group of 5. Can recommend the Mutton Curry, Beef Colombo and Chicken String Hopper. Will definitely be back either to dine in or takeaway!

What a fantastic place! Northfields has lots of nice restaurants but this place is a cut above if you want something a bit different. Left feeling full and satisfied but not sluggish. Can't wait to come again. Sri Lankan my new favourite thing! The higher price tag reflecting me and the wife having a bit of a splurge. Still very reasonable! Jag BTW is Ealing's premier maitre'd. What a gentleman. Go and check it out!

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Papaya last night, and we can't wait to be back! The food was simply outstanding—probably the best Sri Lankan/Southern Indian cuisine we've had. Each dish was authentic, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful artwork that adds to the cozy, family-owned vibe. We felt so welcomed, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! Papaya is a gem in West Ealing!

Lovely coming back to Papaya, the devilled dishes are as fragrant and spicy as ever, with the lightest ever paratha. Food has stayed high quality for as long as we've been coming, and it's as welcoming as ever

Bad food and bad service at Papaya in Northfield Avenue W13. My friend and I are not coming back. This was our first time here.

Had a gorgous meal that was so tasty and although calm and quiet on a sunday eve it felt beey relaxing not rushed but given time to relax and enjoy the meal and staff were veery attentive . Will be back thank you

Very good food and lovely staff

Came here for dinner to see how authentic it was as a Sri Lankan restaurant given the good reviews. Got the Devilled Mutton, Crab claws, Stringhopper mutton Kothu, Cochi Prawns and Roti. Devilled mutton was not spicy at all but in a sweet and sour sauce.. Unexpected. Crab claws were a bit bland and nothing to shout about. Kothu was bland and hardly had any mutton. Cochi Prawns had no Keralan Influence whatsoever and was in some generic curry sauce with no flavour. Massively disappointed with the food, no authenticity and generally bland. What's more is the price - we spent over £60 to experience the above. Will not be returning. Only good thing was the young waiter kid who was very attentive and personable.

Went here for dinner with my mate as he recommended this spot and after eating here I too will be recommending it to others. The service was fantastic , the individual took their time to recommend various menu items that suited our level of spice tolerance. The food was amazing , so many different flavours and textures. An absolute joy to eat here.

Worst service ever, Have been there this afternoon along with kids and Family kept waiting at the door for then 5 mins to be seated nobody ever attended.

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and were very pleasantly surprised. Even on Monday it had a healthy amount of customers, which is a good sign! We are vegetarian so we’re happy with the amount of lovely options we had. My personal favourite was the masala dosa - just like one I had in India, followed very closely by the Dahl Makhni, But everything we had was extremely tasty. Very well balanced, nice amount of flavour, and the chilli sauces had the right amount of kick. To top it off the owner was an absolute vibe. Best customer service I’ve had in ages. Really wish I lived closer so I could indulge in this more often.

I’m so glad we went to Papaya because everyone in my group noted the restaurant on their mobiles! I’m always the one who is mocked for choices, but, having been here with my girlfriend of four years I knew it was amazing. This is a superb place to eat; for family and for group outings. The food is out of this world. I would not recommend large drinking groups because the atmosphere is calm and it can be annoying to families with little ones. Be respectful. Delightful experience at Papaya, great hospitality and the food was outstanding. The kottu roti was a highlight, perfectly seasoned and the fish curry was out of this world. Definitely a must visit for those looking for authentic Sri Lankan food.

Have been coming to Papaya for years and it never disappoints. The Beef Columbo and mutton curry are unreal. All the starters and sides are always fresh and delicious. But my favourite are the fish and prawn house curries.

The starters portion could be bigger but that's my only constructive criticism. Apart from that. Really good atmosphere for a quiet dinner - didn't have to raise our voices one bit. The mains were amazing. We got the masala dosai which we've had multiple times but the kottu chicken string hopper was new for us and tasty. The mutton curry was the stand out dish for us. Definitely worth heading to if you're in the area.

Our family enjoyed a lovely meal at Papaya. The food was nice and tasty, and staff were very nice and friendly.

Wonderful food. Had the chicken masala, nicely spiced and with a good kick of heat, and the chicken tikka, very tender and seasonings were right on. Try the pudding with the cashews on top, excellent, with a cup of masala tea. Peaceful atmosphere and great service.

Lion beer is a must if you are a regular visitor to Sri Lanka ❤️❤️ food was fab

This was my first experience at a Sri Lankan restaurant and they did not disappoint. We tried quite a few dishes everything came out in a timely manner and taste really good. The drinks were affordably priced. I would definitely eat her again if I was in the area!
