The food was fantastik, the atmosphere great , the staff was brilliant, must try the Mutton Roll ,masala dosa,fish curry.

Always a fantastic meal as always here, the food is really special and would always recommend ordering the Dosa, these are the best in London!

Went as a family party of 6 four of whom are vegetarians. One of the 4 also requires gluten free meals. All went very well. Everyone enjoyed their choices and were pleased with the evening. Staff friendly and helpful. Third visit - would happily go again.

Not changed in fifteen years. Excellent. We'll be back again in the future when Ealing calls. Mutton Biryani is top notch.

Not sure why I haven’t reviewed this place before! I’ve been a few times over the years and it has never disappointed. The food is outstanding - particularly worthy of praise are the biryanis and the chilli paneer. The breads are also amazing. You’ll need to bring your wallet/purse as this is not a cheap place for a curry, but you definitely get quality food.

Food was lovely, we had the chicken tikka masala and the spinach dahl with some naan bread. The best was the milk hopper! We loved the sauces too. The owner was very nice and took the time to talk to us. We would come again and we will recommend it to others too!

I can’t fault the food at our local South Indian - really distinctive, freshly made, good choice, and the super Lion Stout by the bottle and from Sri Lanka. Highly recommended.

Our first time visiting and we had a great evening, the food, service and atmosphere was great. The food was good value and good portion sizes, we all had plenty to eat sharing multiple starters and curry’s as a group of 5. Can recommend the Mutton Curry, Beef Colombo and Chicken String Hopper. Will definitely be back either to dine in or takeaway!

What a fantastic place! Northfields has lots of nice restaurants but this place is a cut above if you want something a bit different. Left feeling full and satisfied but not sluggish. Can't wait to come again. Sri Lankan my new favourite thing! The higher price tag reflecting me and the wife having a bit of a splurge. Still very reasonable! Jag BTW is Ealing's premier maitre'd. What a gentleman. Go and check it out!

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Papaya last night, and we can't wait to be back! The food was simply outstanding—probably the best Sri Lankan/Southern Indian cuisine we've had. Each dish was authentic, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful artwork that adds to the cozy, family-owned vibe. We felt so welcomed, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! Papaya is a gem in West Ealing!

Early dinner: really authentic dosas!

Came in here walking from tube back to my daughter's house to get our car to drive somewhere else for tea! Just walking past and it smelt amazing! Food was incredible.

Bad food and bad service at Papaya in Northfield Avenue W13. My friend and I are not coming back. This was our first time here.

Had a gorgous meal that was so tasty and although calm and quiet on a sunday eve it felt beey relaxing not rushed but given time to relax and enjoy the meal and staff were veery attentive . Will be back thank you

Came here for dinner to see how authentic it was as a Sri Lankan restaurant given the good reviews. Got the Devilled Mutton, Crab claws, Stringhopper mutton Kothu, Cochi Prawns and Roti. Devilled mutton was not spicy at all but in a sweet and sour sauce.. Unexpected. Crab claws were a bit bland and nothing to shout about. Kothu was bland and hardly had any mutton. Cochi Prawns had no Keralan Influence whatsoever and was in some generic curry sauce with no flavour. Massively disappointed with the food, no authenticity and generally bland. What's more is the price - we spent over £60 to experience the above. Will not be returning. Only good thing was the young waiter kid who was very attentive and personable.
