All 4 dishes were really tasty. Veg biryani with madras sauce, chicken tikka masala, lamb madras and Chef’s special curry. One of the best biryani’s I’ve had in a long while. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Looking forward to returning

Always a very welcome greeting, and food is excellent and you take your own drink as they don't have a licence, but you can get Coke etc: staff are excellent too. The Food is great and they do takeaway.

I try to give a restaurant more than one visit before writing a review, I have visited the spice for times now. Sadly not one visit has left me feeling a if I received value for money, or did of a good standard. Four dive in experiences and the take away (solely because its the only Indian in the village. Whether it's the Onion Bhaji ( three very small over fried dry balls for £4.25, or the tandoori king prawn balti with only 4 prawns in for £16.95 - or perhaps the truly putrid chicken korma for£9.95. Save your money and use a different restaurant

We placed our order which arrived an hour late - This was fine as we expected it on Xmas Eve. When it arrived we realised that 2 items were missing. The fries and the ice cream. We phoned the store and they said that they do not have any ice cream available so they put a replacement in (we were told that due to the delay they were giving us some extra bits, so in that case there was no replacement) as for the fries they said it would be delivered in 10 - 15 minutes but they never arrived. Contacted the store but never received another response. The food that we had was nice though.

Had our Xmas meal here...food was good but a bit generic. If you've eaten food in or with an Indian family, you will know what I mean.

Very good food, but I believe they have changed the menu and reduced the options as a result. This is one of the reasons I choose here over Vantage, so a tad disappointed. Maybe I am mistaken, but the proper measure of the complimentary liquor at the end cheered me up no end 👍

After a chat with the staff on the desk, I was informed that they could provide me with gluten free sweet and sour prawn balls. When I opened the containers I found prawns which were over cooked and very chewy in a sweet and sour sauce with the consistency of water, also the special fried was very bland with no soy sauce despite specifically requesting this.

We love coming to the Sunday buffet! Great selection of dishes to try and the service is always excellent. The place doesn’t look up to much from the outside but well worth a visit!
