Always a very welcome greeting, and food is excellent and you take your own drink as they don't have a licence, but you can get Coke etc: staff are excellent too. The Food is great and they do takeaway.

After a weekend of chocolate and roast dinners, what more could you want to get back to normal? Another great meal with friends and Farooq & Co did us proud as ever. Get withdrawal symptoms if we don’t get our regular fix😁

Hemos ido a cenar muchas veces a Montys.

Came here for a date with my boyfriend. It was my first time but my boyfriend has been here several times. They provide free popadoms and a selection of dips and sauces with them which was delicious! Our mains came out and it was the best Indian I have had. Never been a big fan of Indian food as had bad experience with takeaway places in Bedford. But montys is great just disappointing that it isn't bigger as I was sat right next to the loo😬 Would definitely recommend this lovely place. Keep pestering my boyfriend to take me again 😁

Muuuy. . . Prueba a su propio riesgo. . . o evitar!

Was very pleasantly surprised by this gem of an Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in the village of Cranfield. Walked past many times since I moved here, but ate there last night for the first time. The manager was friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. I'm a vegetarian, and there was a varied selection of dishes to choose from. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten in. They also do take away.

Have passed by for years but stopped by for the first time last night after a gym session for a simple chicken biriani stating that I wanted it extra spicy, Having got home It was just about the worst biriani I'd ever had. Trying to find the chicken was a game all in itself as there was hardly any. What little there was was dry and tough. I eat a lot of chicken and I have no idea what they did to it to give it such poor texture but hey ho I had some to hand to add and I was hungry so piled on in to find it had no taste whatsoever. It wasn't spicy and the spices and flavouring you would expect from this dish were entirely absent. It was truly awful and the onion bhaji ordered as a side was overcooked to the point it was burned. Needless to say I found something in the fridge and ate that instead. The following day I tried to empty the biriani into the bin but found the bottom half inch solid with hardened oil. What a lucky escape, imagine if I'd eaten this filth. I called to advise the restaurant I was unhappy but the staff/owner was rude and dismissive, his choice and my prerogative to leave this review. Montys is located in a village near to a university and most dining there appeared to be students taking advantage of their policy allowing them to bring their own alcohol. Without any local competition they have no standard to match, better to drive a little further into Kempston if you can.

We had a very pleasant evening on Saturday. Six of us were well accommodated. The food was tasty and hot. The tables were clean and the tablecloths refreshed for each new diner. Bring your own alcohol suited us just fine, glasses were provided. All in all I would returning recommend this curry house.

The small restaurant for eat-in and take-awaymade a very clean impression. The owner (?) was very friendly and welcoming. As I had no idea what the meals are (I am not familiar with Indian/Bangladeshi food), he patiently explained everything to me. When he noticed that I am travelling alone, he instantly offered me a newspaperto bridge the time until the food was prepared. The food was very good, a bit more than I could manage, and just of the right temperatue. Unfortunately I am here only for some days. Otherwise I would definitely come back.

We try and eat here at least once a month and sometimes more. Great food and the shaslik comes with drama and sizzling hot. We like being able to bring our own drinks and the service is friendly and accommodating.

A nice place to eat the Village have 2 indian restaurants and both are very good, but I would say that on taste this one just has the edge. But could improve the cutlery, but then you can't taste the cutlery but some do judge by that and not the cuisine

I've tried a few Indian restaurants in the area and they haven't been anywhere near as good as what I'm used to, but this one has done of the best Indian food for miles. Best one I've been to in England, actually. You can take your own drink in and the onion badji is a must try. Best one I've ever had. It's not a fancy place and is definitely a no frills, but the food is first class. I'll definitely be back next time I'm south of the border.

Monty's does good food and we use it for takeaway's. You are able to eat in however it does not serve alcoholic drinks and has more of a feel of a café than a restaurant. This being so, it will be our first choice for Indian takeaway.

We have been going to this small restaurant for several years. The service is welcoming and the food is excellent. They do not have an alcohol license to you can take your own which makes for an inexpensive night out. Highly recommended.

Absolutely ridiculous serving of saltless chilli paneer, £7 for 7 pieces. When asked if the serving size is that small they confirmed that the serving is that size. The paneer itself tastes boiled and lacks flavour. Samosa chat was fine. Real letdown.
