Food was fresh but really bland. Poppadoms we’re really oily and had been fried in old oil so were inedible. Wouldn’t order from here again.

1st time Ive ordered from here have heard good things so gave it a go my order was very good one of the tastiest dhansak ive had for a while will defo be ordering again

19 minutes from ordering to receiving, seemed a bit too soon for me. Only 5 bits of lamb in the lamb dish which cost £12, seems like cause it was a Sunday this was all pre-prepared by the restaurant. Disappointing this time.

Great food in welcoming atmosphere

Food did not live up expectations the prawn dish the prawns were tough. The Lamb dish was shredded lamb meat rather than pieces of meat very under spiced. Also they could not provide a priced itemised receipt claiming they need them for VAT so will not be going back.

Another excellent meal, really just the best.

Had a big group meal out for a birthday party and was highly impressed. Service was great, very upbeat and happy even cracking a few jokes. Food was very very nice with a large selection and very reasonably priced.

I've been using this restaurant since it opened. The quality never changes and is exceptionally tasty and filling. It is worth exploring the menu as there are many hidden treasures.

My Butter chicken tonight was very disappointing.. too sweet and too much coconut and the red colour like passata never seen before, usually yellowish..no other flavour than sweet coconut.. usually very good ..not having Butter Chicken again.

Found spice of Caddington and decided to try. A most excellent take away. Best dansak I have had for as long as I can remember. Good size portions and good quality side dishes. Will be going back.

Disappointing. We really wanted to like it as it’s so close to where we live but unfortunately there were several things wrong. We ordered a a medium garlic curry which came mild with chicken. And a medium lamb curry which came hot and the lamb was incredibly tough. It was very expensive considering what we got. On the plus side the delivery was very quick.

Usually very good - tonight rather cold, chicken rogan josh mostly tomato little meat in the mains, naan doughy and underdone. Shame.

I was bored of my usual late night hotel dinner so I wondered out to a local Indian and came across Spice of Caddington. I was greated and given a table straight away. Over the duration of my time here many customers of all types of groups attended for some food. I wasn't too hungry so started with popadoms with the usual chutney, lime pickel etc. The flavours and freshness of the popadoms were 10/10. I continued with a Dhansak with Chicken which was also served with Pilau rice. The balance of sweet and sour followed by the heat showed the chefs skill fantastically. I always have some riatha with my curry and nan bread and this time I had cucumber which was lovely and soothing on the palet. To achieve 5/5 the price of beverages would have to come down. I usually enjoy 2-3 pints and a glass of wine with a meal out. But not at your prices. Looking forward to visiting again.

Poor service from this establishment, ordered many times and the delivery driver claims that he knocked however both people were downstairs and heard no knock. Claimed to ring me and no phone call went through.

Over cooked over bhaji, charged £5.70 for 3 poppadoms, £5 for bottled flat coke.states £2.50 on menu. £5 for soda water and blackcurrant. £1.50 take out food which we could not eat. Said it is because of inflation. Avoid at all cost

I can't fault this place, the curry was excellent, as was every other part of the meal, friendly staff, good naan. Loved it.

Had a really good curry here last Monday with two friends. All our meals were good, the ambience pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful.

Food was absolutely fantastic and we loved it all. Poor delivery unfortunately. When ordered online delivery time was 625. Confirmation came through as 635 instead. Chased delivery with restaurant at 7. Very friendly, polite and apologetic. Driver arrived approx 20 mins later. Expected the food to be luke warm but it was piping hot, so very happy. 100% will order again but probably will collect instead next time.

Brinjal was swimming in oil. Sag paneer cheese over cooked and rubbery and couldn’t taste spinach. Bombay aloo had no taste. Too many nuts in meat vindaloo.

Never had a delivery from here before, will not have another. I thought delivery was to your door, well I live in an apartment block where I buzz the delivery driver in and he brings the food to my apartment door, apparently not the case driver said that I would have to come and fetch it from the car park, told him to take it away, in the end he relented and brought it to my apartment door, he was very rude. Anyway I wish i had not bothered, the food was horrible, there was no spices in any of the dishes i had ordered, everything tasted bland and exactly the same, Lamb bhuna no spices, saag paneer, tasteless, special rice, even less taste. No will not go by reviews again, probably won't go with Just eat again either.

Not had a take out for a while & this fills the gap. Generous portion sizes, good quality meat. AAA++

We only received 1 rice instead of 2. The Chicken in the Korma was pink and translucent. When the 2nd pack of rice arrived we had all finished our meal and I sent back the undercooked chicken.

The best curries in Dunstable, come from Caddington.... :-) Just a quick note, if you have food intolerances be sure to contact the restaurant by phone, we put a note on our order but sure we found almonds'. Luckily we just don't like nuts rather than an allergy...

Wow just how RUDE was the delivery person...husband opened door to be told “Dont order from us again as it’s too far” my husband replied do not advertise on just eat and accept our money. I can not believe someone would be this RUDE it’s our first takeaway since lockdown you treated us in a disgusting manner when are trying to support local business after Covid 19 I will NEVER eat in your restaurant again

It’s been good for years but over the last 3 or 4 years the chicken has been chewe and not edible spoke to them about it they say I’m the only one that has complained about it I can’t believe that.

Very friendly village restaurant. Was quiet when we went but sometimes it can get very busy. They do take out as well. Food is very nice and the service good. I noticed no free after dinner chocolate this time or free drink after the meal like normal. Maybe they have stopped it but they were a nice little touch for the customer. Nice modern decor.

Each curry only had 5 pieces of chicken and the two chicken tikka dishes which cost £9 each had 5 tiny bits of chicken in gallons of sauce, will definitely never be ordering from here again wouldn't of minded the small portions if the food was top quality but it really wasn't don't know how this place has such high ratings.
