Cinnamon Lounge in Central Bedfordshire

Delicious food delivered within the time frame given, very happy would definitely recommend!

Ordered online, delivery time was not too bad, the food had no taste at all i got a biryani n daal and it did not have even a pinch of flavour, waste of money

Ordered and paid online. Ordered 18.15, dedicated pick up time 18.45, came to pick up arrived at 18.43, been told in a minute but food ready at 19.10. Waste of time. If i havent paid it i would leave already. Food might be best in the neighbourhood but means nothing if service is not accountable. Restaurant itself is under some kind if renov, only half of the resto available for customer, half the seats. Would i come back? Nope.

We ordered our food at 1840. The food still had not arrived by 2100. When calling the restaurant, we were told the delivery driver did not have a licence and was arrested by the police therefore could not deliver our order as our food was in the car. We were then told if we still wanted a meal we would have to wait 50 minutes for our order without any compensation. Restaurant then cancelled our order through just eat despite telling him we still wanted the food. Extremely poor communication and will never be ordering with this restaurant again. I recommend the restaurant does thorough checks before employing staff who break the law. Extremely disappointed.

Gave 5 star for atmosphere as had it delivered and the atmosphere in my house was great lol. Seriously tho, I had the lamb bhuna and it was the best I’ve had. The taste was superb and the meat was so fresh and juicy, soft and not a single chewy bit. My wife had tikka masala and said the flavour was perfectly balanced and meat tender with full flavour running through it. 100% getting from here again!!!!

Delivered wrong food again rang them sending a replacement they said 35 minutes later still waiting over food is cold who i spoke to was a waste of space all i got is what can do know help at all used cinnamon lounge for a long time but in the last 6 months the services is bad i will go some one else now not happy

Ordered online for delivery 7.30 it arrived at 6 o clock… very disappointing. I have always ordered from the Cinnamon,on lounge but I’m going to change . I see also it’s being delivered by just eat . Sorry you have now lost my custom …such a shame

Got a takeaway. Ordered Bulsari Salmon in the Tandoori section got the other Salmon dish with a coconut creamy taste, not real cuury flavour i enjoy - 2nd time this has happened, love the tandoori flavour. Never mind, cannot email them for some reason throws me out. Dissapointing when order every so often, lovely manager and had lovely times at restaurant - real shame

Booked a table for 7pm. Had poppadoms and drinks etc almost straight away. Ordered our food but I don't know what happened in the kitchen but the guy who greeted us disappeared, I assume to the kitchen, leaving just one guy to serve us, answer the phone and do takeaway orders. Four takeaway customers came in after we had ordered our food and their orders were completed while we were still waiting for ours. An irate customer returned as something was missing from his takeaway order. The phone was constantly ringing with nobody answering it. The food was very good though but the constant ringing of the phone made us want to get up and leave which we did once we had eaten.

Had evening meal with two friends. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely superb: my colleagues had Chicken Jalfrezi which they said was excellent, whilst I had their "Honey & Mustard Chicken". OMG!!!!!!! THE BEST CURRY I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY 60 YEARS ON THIS PLANET. I want to go back to have it again.

Their honey mustard chicken is the best mild/sweet curry I have ever tasted in my 60 years on this planet. The service was also swift, excellent and friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Got a takeaway. Dry, overcooked chicken and very greasy bajhees.

Was cautiously excited as it was my first time ordering. Overall the food was not worth the price. Plater for (2) was shocking, with 2 reheated chewy onion bhajis, 2 sorry looking tiny smaosas with a filling I couldn't figure out and 2 tiny pieces of fatty lamb and supposed chicken tikka...for £10.95!!! That was supposed to be for my 2 yr old (who now couldn't eat half of the contents) as I was expecting decent amount of meat at least for that price. Needless to say won't EVER be ordering again 😞

Not too keen on sweeter dishes like their tikka or butter chicken, but their jalfrezi is very good. 10/10. Nice staff and quiet restaurant, not fancy but a homely atmosphere. Also one of the cheaper Indian restaurants in the area.

Our local curry house and we love it. Just had the best pathia and sundries and very well priced.

This is by far the best indian food around! They make everything to your request, including my strange order for madras with green chilli in! Highly recommended....

Do not use this restaurant as they charged me twice and refused to do a refund I had to get back from credit card company

Disappointing. Not enough staff to cope with number of customers. Food was cool and had to be sent back, and the "rest room" was unclean. Dirty, dusty with a very grubby floor and Toilet rolls were all damp. No hot water and a soap container that didn't pump. I can only presume that staff use the same facilities!!!! Certainly will not be returning.

Booked online - on their website at 3:30 pm for 6:30 the same day. When we got there said 'oh website shouldn't be accepting bookings -we are closed for a special function". Didn't offer an alternative recommendation and didn't accept responsibility - just said 'I told the online guys'. Hopeless - will never give a second chance

Tasteless and overpriced. Food was very bland and underwhelming. The chef clearly can’t cook Indian food that well as a lot of reviews say the same thing about lack of taste. Cauliflower was undercooked. x2 samosas we’re tasty but overpriced, £4.95 is daylight robbery. Less than a handful of salad for almost £2 is also daylight robbery. Rice was not the type of rice I ordered. Overall the worst Indian restaurant I’ve come across in Luton/Dunstable. Will never order from here again.

Definitely won’t be using them again. Placed the order at 5:50 was eventually delivered at 7:36. Food was stone cold and chapati’s were horrible, thick and doughie.

Wanted to do minus 30 stars. When placed order said 35 to 50 mins at 5.50 50 mins the latest making it 6.40pm at latest should if come. But arrived at 7.50pm If had known that would have been that long (2 hours)we would have ordered elsewhere. And it was Frozen. Not cold, frozen. And wrong meal. Dried meat and no sauce. Worst place ever ordered from In all my many years of take aways. Then when we rang they said we will have to talk to manager. Yeah like we are going to get a call back as said he was not there. Just eat we ordered through. Very very disappointed especially after the long wait. Could not even heat up as we are in a hotel. Meat too dry to swallow with no sauce. Thanks for ruining are special evening.

Phoned for a delivery waited 2 hours kept phoning and getting lots of excuses. In the end asked for a refund tried to make us wait another day. Absolutely discusting service. Never again

Came here about 3 years ago and it was quite nice, this time the food was bland and the atmosphere is non existent. It’s more like sitting to eat in a takeaway than a restaurant, in fact there was a very annoying buzzer going off constantly to say a takeaway order was ready. Bright lights and other diners playing loud music on their phone. Not a pleasant experience I’m afraid.

Sorry to say the food I had delivered last night was awful, cold tasteless,nothing tasted like it should have, onion bargi cold & wet,pakora was the worst very wet coating, chicken tasteless, curry cold & no flavour, mushroom rice was nice,but cold,naan bread was ok, the tikka chips were just full of chopped chillies ,sorry to say will not recommend or order from there again!

First takeaway/delivery from the Cinnamon Lounge and we will be back. The food was amazing! It was hot, fresh and so very tasty. I would highly recommend.

I arrived with my niece, sister and nephew at 6.45pm. We decided to eat in. I had to purchase crisps from the nearby shop. After ordering, dinner arrived an hour later. There was more gravy than food, the shish kebabs were hard and burnt, so my nephew couldn't eat them. Everything was ordered at the same time, yet the rice was put on the table 5 minutes after everything else! I went along with the reviews and I shouldn't have. At least I know not to visit this place again. Three diners arrived shortly after we finished our "meal". I sincerely hope they enjoyed theirs, as we certainly didn't.

Another recent take away. Food was awesome as always. Had a lovely cold Cobra draught whilst I was waiting. 👍😁 Every meal from here has always been top notch. Well done for the standard and quality of you food Cinnamon Lounge ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been to the Cinnamon Lounge at times; I have found the manager and staff very helpful polite, the food is excellent, being disabled, have found staff fantastic, great ambience, love having a chat with the manager, my niece and family, found it very friendly, good with children, highly recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh, very tasty! I usually have a starter sheikh kebab with mint sauce. Sensational!

Second time in succession they have failed to deliver on time. I asked for a refund and was told my food was on route. I then asked to speak to the manager, who was supposedly busy for the next 10 minutes. I then went to the restaurant and had to wait ten minutes to speak with him to authorise my gerund. In the meantime they brought out my delivery 50 minutes late) and as soon as they realised I was only there for a refund, he sheepishly appeared and authorised it. Steer clear!

This was ment to be chilli paneer! It's burnt and solid! Waited ages for the food and got home to find this! Won't be returning!

Last minute decision to go on New year's eve, phoned 15 minutes before they opened and they got me in. They were very busy, but the food was excellent as usual, highly recommend.

Ordered 2 hours ago and still no food, tried calling multiple times and nobody picks up the phone. Dreadful service, steer well clear!!!!!

I have been living in Southall in London, to compare I would say nothing to compare as its not comparable poor quality birhiani absolutely without all the spaces it says mix but no prawns, it's just a lot of things missing. I will not go there again. Sorry but your food its on the bottom of the list quite far from good. Good luck.

Booked a table for an afternoon family meet up 8-12-21 Standard Hungry Horse fare but very well presented by excellent friendly attentive staff. Well done to all Merry Christmas and Happy New year. I definitely recommend this HH as a great place.

Been going here now for over a year and I love my Indians but the food here has always been outstanding, great customer service and they recognize us as regular customers, delivery always on time and the food is so tasty, the chicken chilli main they do is superb and its the best tasting vindaloo ive ever had, my wife tried the Nawabi Murgh and absolutely loves it. Highly recommend this indian. 10 out of 10.

Great restaurant, wonderful food and very friendly staff. On this occasion we just dropped in early evening (about 18:30) 4 of us all chose something different and it all was really tasty.

Tried a new indian on recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Really nice food. Will be back again.

Just ordered a balti from them. Dreadful its mostly onion hardly any mwat. Thrown in the bin now. Won't be ordering again. Dont know if they have new owners because it was not like it used to be.such a shame. Awful food now.

Disgusting Service Order not received, restaurant and driver called me a Liar, I am disgusted at the way I was treated. I have video footage proving that driver did not deliver to me. I will fight this until I get an apology from the restaurant and for them to admit they were wrong.

I just want to give you some feedback on the order that was delivered to my house at 8.30pm today. It was very disappointing  and totally in contrast to previous meals either eaten in or delivered. Food was 30 minutes late even though it had been ordered 2 hours before. Onion bhajis and meat samosas were basically raw. Other food such as main courses and naan bread were cold. Main courses were bland. No apology from driver for being late. I tried to call the restaurant but no-one would answer. I tried to email them to ask if they had a reason for poor food and service but email bounced back. Bearing in mind what is currently going on in the economy and the world I would have expected better. Was meant to be a treat for partners 50th birthday but alas totally spoilt by your employees lack of care for patrons. Needless to say we won't be using you for a Long time. Very very disapointted in what was provided today by cinnamon lounge.

Genuinely the nicest south asian food I've had in some years. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and the service was attentive without being overly fussy. We really enjoyed it, and it was so good I'm literally writing this review as we sit chatting in the restaurant because I thought they deserved a good review. Try the Bhuna Tikka Masala - it was recommended to me and I can recommend it to others.

Uber eats messed up my order and I lost my discount but thankfully the restaurant honoured the price, I'm really pleased with the level of customer service and really looking forward to the meal as I've had good recommendations from a few friends.

Yet another great takeaway from Cinnamon Lounge. First one we've had since the lockdown began. It was fabulous. I will make this a regular occurrence again as I have missed their dishes. I can knock up a curry myself but nothing beats the stuff you cannot do and they do it to perfection. 😁⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food is amazing, there is a wait however you know they are cooking your food from scratch. Very warm and cosy inside and they also offer take away. Definitely recommend.

We have only had takeaways form here. Living in Eaton Bray I’ve tried many restaurants over the years in Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable. Found this earlier in the year and wish I’d found it earlier as the food is excellent. Much as I’d like to eat in occasionally I prefer an environment more intimate and not so bright. But if it’s quality of food and taste this is the one for you.

Ordered 2 different types of curry and other sundry accompaniments on many occasions..Also had a few takeaways there -all delivered bang on time (but then I am only around the corner) My wifes Indian so she knows her Indian food and she loved it. Polite staff. great food great price. What more could you want

I regularly order a takeaway from just eat and it never fails, absolutely lovely. Quality of the meat is always good in the curries! Would recommend for a takeaway!

We are really fussy about our curry. We love a king prawn dansak We had never been to cinnamon lounge before. As it’s not to far from us we decided to try a takeaway dansak. It was really great Lots of prawns in the curry & the flavours were fantastic. We’ve since tried a few different dishes and all have been great The staff are really nice & friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant

Very nice food but poor service. When ordering for a delivery they will tell you it'll take up to an hour but it's much longer than that (last time we ordered it was 20 minutes longer). Make sure the person on the phone gets your order and address right as well. We've had the wrong thing delivered once and on a different occasion they got the house number wrong.

Absolutely shocking meal bad service. Was promised 2 free meals only to be told when we ordered that no-one was there to authorise these. Therefore had to pay and get free meals next time. Absolutely terrible will NEVER be eating at Cinnamon lounge again.

The food arrived well within the time stated and the order was correct. Everything was well cokked and very tasty.

Use this restaurant quite often, both for takeaway and eating in. Have never had a bad experience, every meal we've had has been amazing. Be warned though that portion sizes are large, once you've filled up on the poppadoms and dips before your starter, then eaten your starter, you will struggle to put away the amount of food that will appear as your mains! But the staff are lovely and will happily pack it up for you to take home.

This is our local curry house and we often order takeaway and eat inside the restaurant. Both are wonderful. The service is great, the food arrives piping hot and quickly. Inside they are friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend!
