I ordered a chicken tikka massala and it was SO spicy it even had chillies in it I could only eat two mouthfuls. My husband enjoyed his dish but such a shame

Lovely food, great chutney tray and pops. Then chicken tikka main and veg rice and peshwari naan, which was all so fresh and tasty. Good attentive staff. Highly recommend! All the extra touches to make it 5*

Brilliant service and top quality food. The portions were also generous. All in all, I couldn't fault it. I had the Paneer tikka shashlic with pilau rice and garlic naan, and it was absolutely delicious!

The food was fantastic but the last 2 times we visited it's been so cold inside some of our party had to keep their coats on despite asking for the heating to be put on. It's a shame because we probably won't go again. 😕

Often, it seems difficult for any restaurant to do take aways that actually represent the quality of the food served at table. In this case, the King Prawn Curry & Buttered Chicken we had this evening was every bit as tasty and it truly represented the subtle flavours experienced when dining at the venue. Worth every penny. Love Biggles Lounge, never had Indian food that compares to what they dish up here. Great that they remember repeat customers and have helped me out by checking that I hadn't forgotten something off my normal order (I had and they saved me from the disappointment!). Service is outstanding and no request seems too much trouble, our number 1 go to for special occasions.

Booked a table for tonight just in case. We asked friends what they thought about the place as it was our first visit and wanted to try. At first we asked for 3 poppadoms and 5 came, with 5 chutneys and onions. Food was excellent, not a fault, pipping hot and large portions! Took a takeaway box home as we couldn't finish it all, which is very rare for us. Had 2 mains including lamb jalfrezi and lamb nazimkoli, 2 biggles rice, tarka dhal, saag baghee and garlic naan. It was outstanding.. However a couple of things that annoyed me, that I wasn't finished my meal and the waiter came over to remove my plate and took of the tablecloth away. My dessert was not finished too and he nearly took the cup away. He may have thought that speaking to my husband meant that I finished my meal but no sorry I like to interact with the people I am with anytime. We'll be back for sure

I've been to many Indian places over my time but this one is perfect, it really hit the spot with the food I had. As a foodie myself me and my whole family enjoyed the food and finished everything we had even the kids managed to finish thier food which is usually a challenge. All ij all I will definitely be back for more.

After getting it being recommended to us, we visited the Biggles Lounge as part of the continuing Curry Tour. We visited on ‘Banquet Night’ purely by accident, but decided to take advantage of the ‘deal’. The mandatory Onion Bhajis were to be honest, disgusting. They were literally served on a pool of oil. What they lacked in taste, was certainly made up in greasiness. I managed to eat one and left the other. Not a good start. Main courses were OK – nothing outstanding, nothing special and nothing to return for. The highlight of the evening was the comedy cheese naan! It was absolutely hilarious and still makes us laugh. It was a normal naan with a bit of grated cheese on top! Possibly the worst, if not the funniest naan we have experience on tour. Despite the recommendation to us, we cannot recommend the Biggles Lounge. We fail to understand how others have found the Biggles Lounge to be apparently so good... ...it struggled to be average at the very best in our opinion. However, if you want a good laugh, order one of their cheese naans! So, so funny!

The food served here is excellent with a great variety of meat and vegetarian options. The staff were very friendly and responsive delivering exceptional customer service. The food was also served in a timely manner. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for good Indian food!

Went for a family meal as it was recommended by friends to us so thought we would give it a go. Never again due to one of our party having ceoliac disease and needs gluten free foods. Serving staff were asked if they have gluten free and was told yes. When we order we asked if it was gluten free and they said yes.. Unfortunately the day after the one with ceoliac was poorly !!!! Due to eating foods not suitable and containing gluten.

Attempted to order our dinner through the Biggles Lounge website but couldn’t complete the order due to the SMS verification. Waited 20 minutes, requested multiple verification numbers but received absolutely nothing. Really disappointing as we know their food is usually delicious.

First time visit for early dinner for three. We received a warm welcome and the service and food were excellent. The menu had the usual dishes but also some that were unfamiliar and demonstrated a different twist. Chicken Shashlik was excellent and vastly superior to the usual offering. As it was early evening, midweek the restaurant was quiet but the surroundings were very pleasant, clean and tidy. Far better than the average Indian restaurant and thoroughly recommended.

Five of us ate in there on a Friday night. I had the Chicken on Puree for starters which came out the size of a main! Out of the 5 of us only one managed to eat all his order. Food is great, but the portion sizes are large which I am not complaining about but compared to other Indians, you don't need to order so many dishes. We will all be back in there soon.

Have takeaway from here a few times but decided we would try eating in.Went here for valentines evening meal. Omg the food was delicious and plenty of it. I had to ask for a box to take loads of food that was left over. Such yummy food, beautifully cooked and presented. As we left l was given a heart balloon and a dove gift set. Such a lovely thing to do. Thanx 👍 we will be back

Valentines evening meal here. 14.2.23 Lovely restaurant, lovely food, great team and host. Gifts for my wife as well. I got the bill!! So much food for the price including bottle of lovely Merlot. Wasted nothing as the happily bagged up what we couldn't eat! Thanks.

The waiter was very impolite when he called our attention for not pronouncing the name of the food on the menu well, sometimes he was rude, I don't think that's how you treat customers! We were English not Indians and it was our first time at this restaurant! Won't be coming back here!

We had a first class class meal here really delicious food and the staff are friendly and helpful, pleasant surroundings but it's best to book online as this place is very popular with the young and older generation ps.dont take my word for it book uo see for yourselves we shall be returning soon.

We went on the way home from working late and we did not expect much but WOW! A little gem of a resturant. The staff were friendly, the table was well appointed, the cutlery was spotless, even the toilets were clean. Oh, and by the way... The food was top-notch. Well done guys.

As a northerner I feel like I have very high standards for Indian meals. I've tried curries all over the country including Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London... and I think Biggles Lounge really is good. We're lucky enough that it's also our local! We've done dine in and many takeaways and all were excellent.

I had dinner here with a group of old friends one Saturday evening (we had booked a table). As is usual for Indian restaurants, the menu was very comprehensive covering all of the typical and expected Indian dishes. All of the food provided was first class in every respect and served efficiently by a friendly group of servers. We all thought that it was very much above average for an Indian and would very happily eat here again. Highly recommended.

Attended birthday dinner, Tuesday evening Banquet Night, very well worth the money very good value, food was very tasty and nice. All dishes full of flavour and aromatic spices, very nice overall. Also the staff were extreamly friendly, polite and amazing service whilst dining. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟

Very enjoyable food and of a really good standard. I have had both a takeaway and sat in the restaurant and cannot fault it. It may be a little bit more expensive than other places in the area but it is well worth it and definitely one of the best around!

We had a takeaway on the 3rd of September very nice food. The vegetable curry first class. We had tandoori dishes. Mixed grill and chicken tikka. The only problem there was too much salt but if you put the yogurt sauce over it. It helped. Apart from that the naan breads were perfect and light. I don’t write reviews ever, but I just had to for this place!! Our first visit here tonight restaurant is intimate and lovley, all staff are very nice too! The food is out of this world! I had a chicken korma because I’m boring but the flavours where amazing! And the chicken melted in my mouth every bite!! My partner had a dansak and said his was the same! Restaurant was fully booked but food came quickly and was boiling hot!! 10/10 biggles we will definitely come again and bring our friends and family next time!

We decided to treat ourselves to a Biggles Lounge takeaway having never tried the restaurant before. I’d heard good things but was put off before it was expensive. After eating our meal tonight I can confirm it’s not worth the money. My chicken tikka masala was hot and spicy (which I’ve never experienced before at any Indian restaurant) and the taste was very overpowering. My partner tried a dish which was basically like a lamb stew and nothing like an Indian dish. Overall we were really disappointed and won’t be trying Biggles Lounge again.

As a family of four we had a wonderful experience here. The food was superb, as was the service provided by the friendly staff. Highly recommended and look forward to visiting again.

Really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere, great food and a just a nice feel to it. It was my first time actually eating at the place as before I was getting the food delivered to me, and the eat-in experience was brilliant. The best Indian in Biggleswade, or even Bedfordshire, by a country mile.

Nothing like the great experience I had a few weeks ago. Turned up about 7pm, food was nice but staff not particularly friendly and one of them verging on being downright rude.

Food was delicious and the service was great! They didn't have gulab jamun on the menu but one of the waiters managed to rustle me up some especially, will definitely be back :)

Having visited many such restaurants in the UK, this was one of the best curry houses ever. Sadly things have suffered post COVID. Presentation standards have disappeared and the cooking has also suffered. In contrast prices have risen Not sure if they've changed chef but...

Although staff were very friendly we did get left a long time before anyone asked us what we wanted to order. We were very thirsty and more than hungry after having waited for an hour for the waiter. We also asked for an Irish coffee after our meal but unfortunately it didn't taste anything like that. It was just a coffee.No liquor.

The best Indian in Biggleswade. The food is cooked and presented well. None of the greasey oil you get all over your food at other places.

Possibly the best Indian takeaway in the area. The lamb rogan is supurb.

Exaggeratly oily and greasy food, a lot a lot of harmful fat in all the dishes we received,  the rice was oily and overcooked (which means very old rice just heated), when we told the waiter this, he didn't show serious concern or even fake sympathy, he carried on by presenting the dessert menu 😳🙄🧐🤔

Visited area last week. Monday came in. Food superb and lovely staff. Came back for a meal the next day but later. They were only then doing takeaway. I explained that I was staying in a hotel so could only eat in. I explained I had been visiting a very ill friend. They then said I could have a table. Again a superb meal. Thank you for being so accommodating by serving me in the restaurant after a sad day as my friend is so ill. See you next time I am down.
