What an amazing place , first time with my family here , we really enjoyed it . They made our evening special , staff are super friendly , food was amazing , would 100 percent recommend .

1st rate service by a efficient very friendly staff. The food is always excellent, top notch. I would and do recommend this restaurant to anybody who like Indian food. There is a large range to choose from. (You will not be disappointed). Give it a try and see for yourselves. Tonight (4/5/23) we sent out for a takeaway which arrived on time, hot and delicious. Give it a go.

First time to visit and I found it by chance out on a walk around local area . Luckily they are open on a Monday and I really needed some spicy food. The Chicken Chili Masala and garlic Nan where absolutely delicious, and the best I’ve tasted for a long time. Great service and friendly staff all of Bangladesh origin. Highly recommend this restaurant, and I’ll be back .

We try others through recommendations but we always revert back to Raj Villa as its really good tasty food at a reasonable price. Since its opening in 1994 the Raj Villa was a frequent haunt of ours until we left Arlesey in 2012. In the early days it was takeaways, but over the last three years we enjoyed their banquet night most Wednesdays; we can't remember ever being disappointed. Last November (2021) we returned to the area staying in Fairfield and our very first evening we walked down to Arlesey to see if the Raj Villa was still there. In the intervening years we had lived in Cardiff and then Scarborough and, whilst there were some good Indian restaurants in those towns, we never found one as good as the Raj. Since November 2021 we've had about 10 weeks in the area (away over Christmas) and have made it our habit to walk down to the Raj at least once a week (and sometimes twice) mixing between Wednesday banquet and other nights. On each visit the service has been friendly, the food excellent, and our only sadness is that we are moving away and it could be many years before we are close enough to Arlesey to be able to eat at the Raj again. We can't really highlight any specific dishes because we have eaten most of the menu and never had a meal that we haven't thoroughly enjoyed. The portion sizes are decent so we often don't bother with poppadoms to start with, and if we have side dishes we usually find we don't quite eat all our main courses. Price is about right for location, and a bargain when you consider the quality of the food and service.

We drive through 2 towns and probably 6 indian restaurants to come to Raj Villa. It's simply the best food and Service you could wish for. Prior to lockdown we visited at least once a week and missed the food through lockdown due to Covid 19 restrictions. Whilst the restaurant was closed it has had a complete refurbishment and looks absolutely stunning. It's bright, chic and completely Covid secure. The staff, Aki, Jack & Russell give excellent service and nothing is too much trouble. We would highly recommend Raj Villa if you want delicious food and excellent service.

Absolutely terrible. Phone manners appalling. Very expensive. Was told 40 mins and delivery arrived 10 mins later? So definitely not fresh. I think the tikka was left in the oven since March when they had to close. King prawns were very soft and cut into tiny bits so probably about 3 in total. Ceylon in supposed to be spicy but they had put coconut on top of a korma. Special raj naan was supposed to be keema, garlic and chilli. NOT.....DO NOT USE THIS HORRID PLACE.

Always the best Indian restaurant and has been for years. Tried many others, but always happy to get back to Arlesey for Raj Villa. Just a shame you can't deliver to Biggleswade.

We come here every couple of months with the kids. We have had family celebrations, large groups, small groups and live the food, choice and the staff.

Went here for a family Sunday dinner and were not disappointed. Friendly helpful service, great food and nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced food served fresh and piping hot, with waiting times proving the food was freshly cooked to order, I.e. not fast service but there was a large family party in the night we went. Will be back again soon and would recommend to anyone in the area.

A friend had mentioned this small Indian restaurant to us and we had been meaning to try it for a while and were not disappointed. We started with the Poppadons and sides, there is a choice of 4 mains one of which is vegetarian, together with onion bhaji, nan bread and pilau rice, together with sides of mixed salad and a yoghourt dressing. All were very tasty and not too spicy. The service was friendly and helpful.

This place is our favourite curry house. We try others occasionally but they are always disappointing! Staff are always friendly and they are very child friendly and will adapt their dishes to suit different tastes. Very good. Would reccomend this place to anyone!

I’ve spent quite a bit of money here over the last couple of years always friendly people always nice food I’ve only dined in their twice but when I have it’s always been quick hot and presented with a smile

Eaten here over the years, not that regularly but a few times a year. Was out for a birthday meal, didn't book a table for our Saturday night meal, but knew it wasn't a problem. Four of us arrived at 8.30 pm asked to wait for a table even though only two other tables were used out of 15 tables. 10 mins later we were seated and served beer. Ordered the obligatory popadoms and waited and had to ask for the dips. Waited 45 mins for the starter. Ordered another beer 3 times before it arrived. Fingers all over the nann bread and the plates as it was served by the waiter. And the main, although was nicely flavoured had only 6 cubes of chicken. Service was terrible throughout the night. After all these years, Probably won't go there again.

Went for an evening sit-down meal and was impressed by the quality for the food served and the surroundings. Wasn't packed, but wasn't dead either. Would go back.

Haber estado aquí como un grupo grande hace unos años y tuvimos una buena experiencia de volver y de nuevo tener su oferta de banquetes domingo por la noche, que es una buena relación calidad-precio, pero fuimos un grupo de 12 última noche y tardó mucho tiempo en llegar tomaron el pedido (más de una hora) y luego fue sólo para los entrantes. Habíamos estado sentados alrededor de una hora antes de empezar, vino a la mesa y estaban allí por casi 3 horas y media en total por entrantes, platos principales y unos cafés. Nuestra experiencia de servicio no genial. El personal no parecía feliz de estar allí. La comida estaba bien, pero no muchos trocitos de carne en salsa y arroz raciones muy pequeñas. Nos costó trabajo la factura, ya que sólo los precios de las bebidas suaves para los vasos grandes y pequeños no mencionados se sorprendieron de que dos poppadum (con salsas) eran 2 libras. 60! Me temo que no volveré.

Encanta este restaurante indio, he comido en y llevar también tenía entrega así como recogida con amigos y familia. Nunca se puede quejar de la comida, siempre preparado a la perfección, tan sabroso y caliente incluso en la entrega de hitchin! El personal es muy servicial y muy amable. Mi restaurante favorito fuertemente!

Food is excellent and on a Wednesday you can get an excellent value meal deal to eat in. Staff are polite and helpful. If you think you're going out for a private conversation while you enjoy your meal though think on!!!, there's probably more space between you and the person next to you on a easy jet flight than there is in this restaurant!!

We visit regularly for the Sunday banquet and are always very pleased! The food is delicious and there is so much choice. The banquets in particular (Wednesday & Sunday evenings) are very good value!The staff are very friendly & genuinely interested in you enjoying your meal.We have also visited for birthday meals and really enjoyed it.

Food was overall ok, but have had far better quality Indian elsewhere. My partners chicken curry was slightly undercooked & staff were slow to the mark despite there being only two tables full.

We decided to give this restaurant a try and we were not disappointed! Fantastic food and great customer service have made us return twice in the past few weeks.The waiters are very friendly, welcoming and they are always willing to help. The food is fantastic, very tasty and a good price! We would definitely recommend for a good curry out!

After reading good reviews we went today for the buffet lunch,dissapointing range of food just 6 items inclding the rice and nan bread! had to dig deep to find the chicken in the sauce.Plus it was a bit chilly and the loos were freezing no heating on at all,sorry but that was the first and last visit

Food is fine, not spectacular but good Indian food. Service is good and they patiently waited for my friends and I to have many drinks after eating

I have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions with the family. The staff are friendly and provide a good service. Their food is always served as you like it and they do their best to cater for other requirements you may have. We have held a couple of family celebrations here with a large group of people and they have always managed to organise them well without affecting the quality of service and food.

We ate in. Lovely food but the staff were a little odd. Quite miserable, very quiet but the balti was to die for!

We love Raj Villa! We find nowhere else compares. The food is always delicious and is really good value. And they deliver! They're able to cater for my gluten-free husband and the kids love to go there. We first went for dates pre-children and now it is a family favourite. Would and do recommend it.

I have been coming to the Raj Villa for many years. They have always been serving brilliant food with a friendly service. I recently went there after a 5 year hiatus, the decor has been updated but the food and the staff are still reliably good. There is a large selection of dishes including a Thali which I recommend. The vegetarian option is well-stocked.I was shocked to discover this restaurant was not listed on Trip Advisor, it is well worth a visit as it is the best Indian restaurant I have tried in Bedfordshire.
