Taste Of Lahore in Central Bedfordshire

Just received a take away. Very disappointed. Prawn curry was basically all sauce , tiniest prawn that you had to dig for. The chicken kebab was a few bits of meat thrown on a handful of chips. Will NEVER order from here again. First time ordering , last time ordering. They put more meat in their wraps in their Facebook adverts 🤬🤬

Mixed grill and was very nice and cooked perfectly. We also ordered Lamb Karhai which was ok. Could have been more flavourful and authentic. Butter chicken was also ok. Rotis were very nice. Decor was not so good. Seemed very tired and could really do with being spruced up. Waiter was great and listened very well. Offered advice etc. We ordered Desi Chai which took very long to arrive. It didn’t taste all that. It also arrived in takeaway cups. Why not mugs or something more suitable for people dining in? Keer was not great either. Served in plastic Tupperware.

I ordered kebabs with salad and samosas. The kebabs were dry, bland, and hard to chew. The samosas seemed like they were made from frozen, which is disappointing for a restaurant that should prioritise fresh ingredients. The salad wasn’t fresh either. Overall, I would not recommend and won’t be returning.

This is an edited review !! ‼️ I have added a screenshot of my previous review from about a year ago, when they first opened their shop at Quadrant. We were so impressed back then and used to be regulars here since there were not many places nearby for a quick bite back then. Now there are so many other halal food options nearby for a much fresher and healthier dining. There service has gone downhill ever since. Few months back went in for a weekend lunch with a colleague and ordered mutton biriani which was an absolute letdown for the price. Adding precooked mutton to precooked rice doesn’t turn it into a mutton biriani dish … on top ridiculously high price. Decided not to go back. Yet again went in yesterday for quick snacking because was craving karak chai … the samosa chaat was full of raw onions and tasted stale… absolutely disgusting food. Karak chai was a 0/10. I don’t know what happened to them. Absolutely do not wish them any harm. But we pay for food & when the quality goes down there should be no reconciliation. I personally will never eat here ever again with my hard earned money. I would rather pay £2 extra for bus fare to go to Luton for much better food at the cheaper price.

Absolutely ridiculous serving of saltless chilli paneer, £7 for 7 pieces. When asked if the serving size is that small they confirmed that the serving is that size. The paneer itself tastes boiled and lacks flavour. Samosa chat was fine. Real letdown.

This is our third time at Little Lahore and we come all the way from north London. The food is delicious, always served fresh and hot and the staff are friendly and helpful. We even ask for takeaway before we leave. I’m sure it won’t be long before we are back once again.

Probably one of the worst kebabs I've ever had, overcooked seekh kebabs, very dry, had it with chicken doner, they tried giving me microwaved chicken donner, that had been sat there for hours!! I sent it straight bk.. they then cut me some fresh chicken donner, by that time the naan and seekh kebabs had gone cold! I thought allow it just eat it now, very tight pprtion of chicken donner, it tasted just okay, was Probably saved by the chilli sauce wich was the best thing there, would never go there again and would definitely NOT recommend it 2 anyone,

We often visit Little Lahore and get deliveries from them on Just Eat. The food is lovely. So fresh! Soft meat, fresh made bread. The ingredients are of high quality. when the food was delivered, they forgot one item that we had ordered and paid for, I rang the Restaurant and told them, they said we can just on Just eat and complain. I said can you deliver the missing item and they Refused

Unfortunately it was poor. Pregnant and came with my one year old son. The high chairs were filthy. Found a hair in my haleem. My son had fish fingers which were still transparent in places. I sent it back and it came back the same. So I chewed on some roti and he had some chips. Very disappointed and hope I don't get sick.

Tried their food and ordered chicken achari, butter chicken and chicken kebabs. Chicken achari was quite good and butter chicken was so-so. Chicken kebabs were undercooked from the inside which I wouldn't recommend. I informed the staff they were accommodating and gave me two more kebabs but they were also undercooked. The ambience was good until someone from the kitchen started singing loudly which was quite irritating and unprofessional.

Had brunch breakfast with family. Very tasty and Good value for money. Three different drinks to choose from. Highly recommend the lassi and halwa. Would definitely visit again.

I can't recommend this place enough. The BEST Food kinda place this is Had their BBQ kebabs charcoal cooked amazing flavour. Their curries specially korma is my favourite. Lamb biryani one of the best in the area. Very friendly staff asked me numerous times if i was happy with the food and complementary desserts and cup a tea made my evening. Must try kinda place

On my first and last visit, I tried the Mix Grill and Charsi Karahi. The Mix Grill deserves 3 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the Charsi Karahi was a big letdown, scoring 0 out of 5 stars. It was excessively watery and full of tomatoes, with shredded chicken pieces. The initial impression of the karahi was quite off-putting.

Keema was nice but chicken nugget meal was not worth the money it wouldn’t of feed a small child the portion was tiny and I asked for side salad and they sent one tiny one and one tiny chilli sauce and we spent 45 pounds not happy if I’d of ordered from another Asian restaurant we would of got a lot more.

Just had our first takeaway from here and the food was delicious!! We ordered from the website and got all vegetarian dishes with medium spice level. They were great! Not typical sweet “indian” food like most other place, this tasted authentic and flavourful! Will definitely be coming back and will recommend to everyone 🤩

Faruk, in particular, really looked after us, ensuring that we had everything we needed and that our meal was to a high standard Everyone in the family had a great time, and we all agreed that we'll definitely be back soon.
