The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

Avoid at all costs. Ordered £70+ worth of food at 7.15pm, that took 2 hours to be delivered. Then for us to be missing parts of our order, which then my dad could not eat because he didn't have his rice. I ate a small amount of my food, then for me to no longer be hungry. We call the takeaway about the missing items, they said they would get someone out to us straight away. 30 minutes later still no food, they had delivered it to the wrong address. Called again and told we had to talk to foodhub to get it sorted. After going backwards and forwards with them, they said we could have a refund for the missing items. But no compensation was offered for all of this and after asking for compensation, they said there was none to give. Absolutely disgusted service from both Bengal spice and food hub. The biggest shame is that the food was nice, but they have lost a house of customers and and future money from us.

Used to be best in Lichfield but food has definitely taken turn for worst. Soggy pakora and stale poppadoms delivered. Real shame

Fantastic takeaway, delivered so fast, arrived as hot as if we’d just taken it out of the oven and all absolutely delicious. A perfect experience.

Don’t normally post a review… ok meal tonight but that’s all, the worst meal we have had in 30 years, ordered lamb madras got chicken, ordered chicken saag (always have that lol) very bland, no taste. New chef???? Both chicken dishes tastes as though defrosted pieces of chicken, no freshness or taste. Sorry, but won’t be wasting £40 going forward, going to bramcote lane, spend an extra £10 but excellent authentic street food.

Both me & my partner have raved about this place in the past especially as an eat In restaurant. However the last 2x takeaways have lacked in quality. Both recent curries we’re very watery, lacking in meat & arrived cold (we live less than 10 mins away) Food wise the food as always been of an higher standard, it’s just the last two curries didn’t hit the standard bar already set by this place. Hopefully it’s been down to Covid & possibly a stand in chef? Maybe who knows. Shall review again in 2022.

Still remember this meal- their sushi and food was awful which is why we never came back here. Was a mistake to place such a large order for a party at a new place. we threw half of it away!

Disgraceful, rude + Unprofessional service. Actually still in shock seeing as I’ve spent thousands here & was a loyal customer. They serve MICRO ribs the size of your little finger (see pictures) and I complained and they screamed at me (chef included). Then they said I should order something other than the ribs. THEN when I insisted on my complaint they refused to serve me ribs again. Unbelievable.

We live 10 minutes away so we have been going to Wild Mango for years and order take away from time to time. The food is always delicious and the rice is an art, we enjoy eating there and the Naan bread is delicious.My husband and I went there for our anniversary and couldn't be happier.! We hope they are able to survive the pandemic as they have rendered great food and service locally. Apparently the mango sauce the chef makes is from real mangos and I was most impressed with their homemade sauce. I highly recommend them, the bread is made from scratch, it was hot, healthy and delicious.Good luck during the pandemic.

The menu doesn't have Nepalese dishes, which is strange as the restaurant is advertised as being Nepalese. I visited once for a dine in meal. The food was rather forgettable.
