Wild Mango in Bromley

We live 10 minutes away so we have been going to Wild Mango for years and order take away from time to time. The food is always delicious and the rice is an art, we enjoy eating there and the Naan bread is delicious.My husband and I went there for our anniversary and couldn't be happier.! We hope they are able to survive the pandemic as they have rendered great food and service locally. Apparently the mango sauce the chef makes is from real mangos and I was most impressed with their homemade sauce. I highly recommend them, the bread is made from scratch, it was hot, healthy and delicious.Good luck during the pandemic.

We visit this restaurant frequently and often order take out. We are always made to feel extremely welcomed by the staff and always enjoy our time there. I think we have eaten our way through the menu twice even though there is such a huge choice. Haven't got a favourite dish but the peshwari naan is delicious. The restaurant itself is spotless. It was good to see the restaurant bursting at the seams before the 12pm new Covid rules came in. Lovely, lovely meal. Hope to be back soon but in the meantime I guess it's takeaway orders.

Not sure if we visited Wild mango on a bad night, but was probably the worse Indian meal I have ever had. Service was appalling with a 2 course meal taking 2.5hrs to serve. Our main course when it finally arrived was cold and very uninspiring.The Mango special was anything but, just a small bowl of tandoori chicken and the Shaslic was a bowl of onions with very little Chicken or anything else.This was topped off by a very expensive bill of £60 for 2 people, which included the £20 discount for dine in & Save.The Restaurant was extremely busy, but with hardly any other Indian restaurants open in the area for dine in this would explain the numbers. When this changes after Corona I expect customers will not be returning to Wild Mango, I know I won't be.

Went to the restaurant and ordered a takeaway, When we got home the food was disgusting there was 6 pieces of chicken in both of our curry’s that was overcooked. The sauce the curry was in was soo watery and tasteless and for 40 pound for two curry’s and two sides is disgusting NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

The front desk person sat on phone talking loud on their mobile to family and was ignorant. Food wasn’t good.

First and last time here. Fancied a curry on my way home from work, I like my food and get takeaways occasionally but this is the worst one I’ve ever had. Was very disappointed and angry especially as it was not cheap. I ordered a lamb Bhuna, rice and naan the meat was tough and fatty, the rice had clearly been put in a microwave was all clumped together and didn’t taste good the naan bread hadn’t even been cooked and also had a bad stale taste. The dish is meant to be medium spice but didnt have any in it at all, the sauce was terrible had no flavour! Also the whole meal had a nasty smell, I can only describe as sweaty socks. The staff weren’t welcoming either. AVIOD this place

We ate here tonight and frankly the food was awful. I ordered a chicken tikka masala with a medium heat. I got a sloppy mess of dry chicken in a massive amount of sauce which was so hot it was inedible. Just awful. Service is poor with no atmosphere and a smashed mirror in the loo which has been like it for at least a year. Very low standards.

Really enjoyable meal. Attentive staff, good food. It was quite empty considering we were there on a Friday night but that's a surprise because I always get a good curry from here as a takeaway.

The waiter nur was very friendly and helpful, recommended good dishes that we haven’t tried before. Took very good care of me and my partner. We will definitely return to this restaurant. Very fresh tasty food.

The service was awful, staff was rude and our waiter told us that we had to wait for our drinks until he had collected our food. When the food was brought to the table it was cold, tasteless and dry... very very disappointing. We wasn’t checked on and looked after at all. It seemed that all they was bothered about was preparing the take away orders. You would be better off getting a microwave meal from Lidal to be honest. I would also suggest that the floor staff are better trained on table service as they seemed to struggle to even pick up the plates, with all our food still left on them. And wasn’t even asked if something was wrong. Worse service I’ve ever had.

Excellent tasty food with excellent service by Nur and team. Why go to London when you have this excellent quality on your doorstep in Beckenham.

We ate at Wild Mango last evening and were really disappointed with the whole experience. The tables were a mess, it was understaffed which resulted in very slow service, and the food was average, at best. We have eaten here on and off over a few years and sometimes it can be quite good but they always seem to dip too which is such a shame and is avoidable. We wont be going back again.

Popped in because none of us felt like going to our favourite restaurant next door and do not regret that decision. I must say the chefs special mango lamb was delicious and very tasty. The staff was great, too! Thank you Nur, will see you soon again.

Great visit to wild mango on New Year’s Eve , looked after perfectly by Nui who was very attentive without being too overbearing. Excellent salmon Tandori and cold beer perfect start to the evening, thank you everyone.

We were a group of 6 and I’m not sure what we may have done to offend but immediately before they even took our order the servers were very abrupt and demanding. When taking our order he mandated that we do it in a certain order which is fine but was getting visibly annoyed with us that it took us a couple of seconds to keep track of how much rice we ordered. The food was absolutely delicious but I felt quite pressured to finish as they were watching us. Even after we had eaten but still finishing our drinks one of the waiters poured out the remaining wine and filled the glasses to the brim to chivvy us out of the restaurant. I cannot fault the food but I did not feel welcome even from the beginning. I would only recommend going here if there is two or three in your group.

Recently moved to the area and was testing out the local restaurants . This Food was very nice and colourful but pretty spicy even the mild dishes where pretty hot . Was reasonably priced and received a great service .

Really lovely and delicious food, Ordering via deliveroo quite often, the food never fails, always freshly made and nice packaging. My favourite dish is absolutely jalfrazi but onion bhaji and bhindi bhaji are amazing too, highly recommended.

Been wanting to try this place for ages, clearly the people that rate this place have never had an authentic curry. Have to say this is the most bland knocked up in one pot with serious lack of ingredients curry Iv ever had. On top of that minimum spend on a card is far too high !!

Anyone who questions the standard of food has not eaten in this restaurant. My wife and I have eaten out most days of the week for the last 15 Years our favorite Italian is Corola in Lee Green and this is now our favorite Indian. The food was tasty and very well presented, it was clean and comfortable yesterday was our second visit, so far I have tried the Chief's specials "Tiger Prawn Balchou" and "Jahl Chicken" and the wife "Chicken Dansak" try it just once you won't be disappointed. GREAT FOOD. unfortunately it is only open in the evening

I often eat in and get a takeaway from here and I've never been disappointed the food always flavoursome hot and staff always pleasant. Lamb korma has to be my favourite Must try if you haven't before

Second Best Indian in Beckenham in terms of food quality (best is Spice Society) Amber Fort probably the worst for quality but some like it as cheap / larger portions

We have tried many Indian restaurants in Beckenham, and Wild Mango remains our favourite. We often order take away and occasionally go to the restaurant to eat and we always have great service and very friendly staff, who always make us feel welcome whether as a couple or with friends and family. Would not hesitate to recommend!

The meal was absolutely amazing! The special wild mango chicken was fabulous and so succulent. The staff were very friendly, polite and ensured all our needs were met. My friends and i had a great time and we would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Went late last night in fact it was 11pm!Asked politely if we could have a table for 4 & were made welcome.Staff very friendly yet not intrusive & a very nice un-rushed meal was served.Everything very clean including the toilets.Thanks for accommodating us we will return though not so late next time.Well done Wild Mango, well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed our visit to wild mango. Very friendly welcome on a busy Friday evening. Nice atmosphere and good table layout where you not too close to adjacent tables. Good varied menu and a drinks list which is reasonably priced. The food was excellent quality and the perswani nann was as good as I've ever had. We will return.

Last Sunday I visited the restaurant for a birthday event. The wait for the food was no problem at all, the waiters were friendly and very welcoming. The food was delicious and appropriately priced for what is served. I would definitely recommend Wild Mango and would not hesitate to return.

I visited this establishment on 28th June with friend after visiting the cinema. We had an excellent meal with a potato starter that was nicely spiced. We both had chicken msin dishes; one was the Wild Mango special and I had their Naga Chicken which was nice and hot but with well balanced spices so it was enjoyable and not just hot chilli. The vegetables and rice was well produced as well. The service was very poite and efficient. I cannot believe that I have not visited this establishment before! 10 out of 10.

This is a brilliant restaurant! Most importantly, the food in exquisite. It is well cooked, fresh and very enjoyable. In addition to this, the staff are all lovely and work very hard to ensure that you have exactly what you want from your evening. I have seen them deal with difficult customers with professionalism, and they never say no and always smile! The prices are very good - especially on Sundays and Tuesdays when they have a set-price menu (encompassing their whole menu) which is excellent. This is an unsung gem of a restaurant - I'm so pleased we found it!

I'm a regular customer at WildMango. Absolutely love the curry and all the dishes everything in my opinion were excellent. Service by the waiters were good all the waiters were friendly and kind. I've previously saw a review saying the place made a mistake on a bill, I'm pretty sure that could happen anywhere and if you asked them they would've corrected it.

My partner and I like Wild Mango. We don't go there for the restaurant and it's atmosphere (the white furniture & the red lights are just not doing it for us), however we do like the food and have had many take aways from them.In the beginning that used to be a turbulent task, as their drivers were late or rude, but it seems to have calmed down and they have found better people.We're happy to put up with this as the food is good.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night without booking a table. We were easily seated near the door. There was a draught coming through the front door on a cold night. I think that a double door would help to reduce this problem. We had Ginger jinga prawns starter. £ 6.50Special mango chicken. £ 9.99Lamb palak which was £ 7.98 on the menu but I was invoiced £ 9.99.Chicken Korma. £ 7.50.The 3 main dishes seemed to have the same sauce. I was served with chicken instead of Lamb Palak. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he said that I had started to eat the food. He did not seem to want to change the food and I had to insist. [Perhaps that is why I was over charged for Lamb Palak]. I asked for a copy of the bill, but I only glimpsed at it. Had I looked at it, I would have seen that I had been overcharged for the dish which they had got wrong.I am not local to this restaurant, so some time later, I checked the bill and found that I had been overcharged. I e mailed the restaurant – TWICE to tell them that I had been overcharged. They DID NOT respond.I had to report this matter to my bank, who refunded my money. India is a vast country with many different cuisines. Having recently returned from India, I did not encounter food like this. I will not attend this restaurant again.

Me and my husband recently came back from a long holiday a few months ago and were in the mood for a curry, we opted for a delivery from wild mango and were a bit disappointed. The curry was salty and the naan seemed like more of a chappati than a naan. We were willing to try to dine in on the weekend because we love the food and staff at wild mango, much to our disappointment it looks like a change of staff/management here. The previous waiters and waitresses were always there giving us great warm service.The atmosphere has changed for the worse now ,the food was oily , the rice seemed microwaved not fresh but the naan was nice though. Looks like we have to find a new curry house.

The food was fantastic, since our favourite restaurant had closed we could not find anything else around. We thought we would try the wild mango and the staff here are very polite and courteous.The food was brilliant especially the coconut rice that was delicious.Would certainly recommend.

Good place and good staffs. The dishes were incredible delicious. Try the samosa as a starter. The best one I've ever tried. and for dessert we tried a mango ice cream. Very good too.

I try a lot of restaraunts in the country but Wild Mango in Beckenham never fails to please, Went there with family and friends to dine for the 8th time now (I live in Essex so I travel over an hour) and the service and food quality is exceptional, every dish is bursting with flavours and the service is always excellent, everyone in the team helps you and welcomes you.I have booked a Christmas party there as I know they will not let me down, it is highly recommended by me to book any party, xmas party there as you will get more then what you pay for!

I like Wild Mango, having eaten in the restaurant numerous times and had home deliveries. My recent delivery, however, was very poorly handled.I placed my order by telephone and was advised delivery would be 45 to 55 minutes.An hour and 10 minutes later I called again to check where my order was and they couldn't find my order and were insistent I had not placed an order. I asked them to check again and they found my order and said it should have been delivered by now. They would contact their driver and left me wondering whether the food would be delivered. They had my telephone number but at no point did I receive any communication to update me on delivery status.Their driver arrived about an hour and a half after I had placed the order. I paid but the driver had no change having left it in his car, which I found rather presumptive.The food was wonderful as usual but the delivery service terrible on this occasion.

I've eaten here a number of times. Lovely restaurant nice helpful staff and great food. They prepared a fabulous paneer tikka for me.

This curry house is opposite the cinema in Beckenham - so really handy for a meal before or after a film. The food is excellent (really tasty) and the staff are very friendly. Not too expensive either. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact that there is something lacking in the ambience. Not sure I can quite put my finger on it except that the lighting is really bright/harsh and the tables are jammed quite close together.

This may have been a nice meal but I had to wait 45 mins after the quoted time. I called and was told it was being delivered for 30 mins and when it came it was cold I may as well have brought a ready meal! Terrible service I will no be using again

they added 20 mins to the delivery time and were 40 mins late on top of that!

Food is fantastic, but service needs to improve. Staff are friendly but you're forgotten about as soon as you have your food. Couldn't get anyone's attention for more drinks or ask for the bill and then it took just over 20mins to get the bill. Not great when it's an ideal location for pre movie dinner.

This is a very popular indian restaurant, even in the week there are always people in there. I went along for a birthday I couldn't fault the dishes I ate. Everyone in the group were very quiet always a good sign. (too busy eating to talk)

This is our third time at the Wild Mango and it always improves. The food was of an exceptionaly good standard and very good value for money with their Sunday 5 Course banquet deal We would highly recomend the Wild Mango

This is my absolutely favourite restaurant in Beckenham and (unfortunately) it has really impacted my enjoyment of Indian food elsewhere as nothing can compare. The staff are always friendly and pleasant and they accommodate our unusual requests (chicken tikka korma, madras hot anyone?). Me and hubby come here about twice a month and now it is a firm favourite with our best friend after taking her a couple of times. Food is always excellent and good value. Sunday and Tuesday they do a banquet for £15 a head with poppadums, starter, main, side and rice or bread from any dishes on the menu. It's a great deal and a good time to try if you've never been before! Would recommend time and time again.

Food was great and arrived quickly but order was wrong (main course was a korma not a karahi) and we were over-charged.

Mango Tree is my favourite local Indian restaurant. Having dined there several times I have found the service is consistently warm, welcoming, child friendly and efficient; the menu varied, broad and interesting; and the food of very good quality with generous portions.

We reserved a table for 6 for a family reunion, the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff helpful and polite. All our needs were met, and the reunion was a great success.

We usually have a great experience with this restaurant but we were very suprised to find only one poppadum when they have been very generous in the past. I've worked at a take away service even then we would always give at least 2 complimentry popaddums with onion salad and mango chutney. I'm not a fan of chicken but I love their chicken tikka Jal puri but this time round it wasn't the same the colour was pale and there was a lack of the usual spice and flavour. Also I was disappointed to find the take away lids were upside down so the written part had been hit by steam and the puri had an ink print on it. For the price we are paying I usually say it's worth it with wild mango but I'm sorry to say definitely not this time round.

This was my first visit to Wild Mango. I was really impressed with this place. The restaurant has been renovated to a really high standard and has a great atmosphere. The set menu deal was superb value. £15 for any starter, main, side and rice/naan. The food itself was amazing. I can never usually finish a curry but the portion sizes were spot on and there wasn't a scrap left! Very good service from the team also. I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely the best curry house in Beckenham. Can't wait to visit again soon!

We love wild mango. We discovered it after a Google and have had birthdays and order take away from here. Seriously yummy Indian food and super friendly staff.

Visited on a Saturday around 8pm. Initially empty but gradually filled to nice buzz. Service excellent throughout. Food came quickly but not pressured.Some of the best indian food I have eaten in the UK. Can particularly recommend the Chicken Hoiro.Not the cheapest but based on my meal definitely worth the price.

Went for an early business dinner and the food was terrible. Each dish was in a gloopy sauce of a strange colour and consitency(? The same basic sauce with food colour added) and the flavour did not resemble any Indian food I have ever tasted before or since. Basically inedible and served by an African waiter who had little or no knowledge of Asian cuisine when asked. Best avoided unless you are on a diet and want to pay for food that was truly terrible

Food was excellent! Very flavoursome - I had the king prawn shashlick and the bombay potatoes are worth a particular mention too! highly recommend.

I'm so disappointed with Wild Mango. The service is so inconsistent. There is the odd occasion where the food and service is good but too many times it all goes wrong. We ate in the restaurant a few weeks ago and I was given completely the wrong meal. Tonight I have had to wait over an hour and three quarters for a very small delivery to arrive. Totally unacceptable.

Had a Tandoori King Prawn Masala and it was delicious but two comments - 1) would be easier to eat if the shells had been removed - have eaten the dish at other restaurants and this was the first time when the shells haven't been removed 2) We had a 45 minute wait for our food. Appreciate the dish isn't made that often but staff should have managed our expectations/acknowledged the waiting time.

We've used Wild Mango for a while now. The food is excellent and good value. This order didn't go that well though, we asked for it to be ordered asap and at 7:24pm the e-mail came back saying expected delivery at 8:10pm. We checked the website again at 20 past 8 and the expected delivery had changed to 8:35pm. We eventually got our food at a few minutes to 9pm. We had tried to call wild mango but the telephone number was constantly engaged. The food was hot and as it has been before, excellent, it's just a shame we had to wait an hour and 40 minutes for it. I have no issues waiting when it's busy but it would be nice to have had some sort of contact to say the delivery will be late.

Got a garlic chili chicken masala as take away and was very disappointed. Not only did I find it expensive but when they said garlic they meant garlic and massive amounts of it. It completely over powered every thing else in the dish and very bright orange sauce. I took a photo of some of the garlic I managed to fix out of the dish. Will be sticking to spice society in future.
