There was 4 of us and the table was a bit small. Good sized portions and food was good

one of the best korma I've had, very tasty. only down fall about the meal was the pashwa nan bread, it was non flavoured and tasted very out of date. was discusting. hence 4 stars not 5. but would defo order again but maybe not the nan bread.

they keep putting the delivery time back - not impressed

Food was ok please follow instruction’s next time asked for Salmon Tikka to be well done this was ignored. So item was thrown as my partner could not eat it how it came.

Ask for spice on the biryani and they made it spicy now that is service. Food was lovely just what I wanted

A very nice Restaurant in Beckenham with a quiet atmosphere.Food was excellent,waiters very friendly,what more can you ask for. Definately worthwhile visiting.A longterm customer.

After taste lingered the next day. Tikka tiny but expensive, and didn't taste right, the balti didn't taste right either, too much of something in the sauce I think, lingered for next day. Cold naan bread. Nothing had quite the right flavour.

Really great Indian Restaurant, the food was really delightful and tasty. The meal are really accessible moneywise. A great recommendation for Beckenham and surroundings.

Food wasn't enjoyable, not much flavour to it a d lack of vegetables in curries.

I tried the tikka masala few months months ago and it was loverly, a bit pricey and small portion but was good to tried again this week and I got the worst masala I ever had in my life. Just tasted like old tomato paste , did they change chef? Or I was unlucky with a bad batch. Shame really as the first round tasted good.

Lamb curry had 5pieces of meat not worth £9 and it was all fatty korma sauce was so salty like they have just put a whole pot of salt in the korma sauce and the food was cold won’t be ordering from here again

Sorry to say I won’t be ordering again. The food turned up cold & the chicken in the korma was really gristle & chewing to the point it wasn’t enjoyable & couldn’t be eaten. Shall go elsewhere in future 😩

Really underwhelmed by the naans. Both the chilli and garlic naans tasted very similar (no real flavour). Rogan Josh was under spiced with the overriding flavour being tinned tomatoes. Not the worst Indian meal I've ever had but a long way off the best.

No flavour to either the Garlic Naan or the Chilli Naan. Both tasted the same! The ice cream tasted good but the there was barely a mouthful for £4.50

Thus is the only place I buy my curry's from, the food is always fresh and tasty. Good portion size and always pipping hot ready to eat.

I want not asked at all if the food was OK the service was slow because the staff were too buy on their phones portions were good but the chicken although moist on the outside was dry on the inside soft drinks very expensive and overall fairly tasteless no good.

- Chicken in curry was extremely tough, some of it inedible. Curry sauce was very nice though. - Food Delivery quicker than expected. - Tiny onion bhajis portion compared to the 5+ other indians in beckenham I have tried. - Rest of the portion sizes were decent. - No free poppadoms on £20 order

Best Indian restaurant we've had food from in Beckenham/Bromley/Croydon. The chefs are happy to adapt orders and make food how desired.

My order never turned up…. and restaurant did not pick up my call!! Very hungry and very annoyed 😒

Food was bland and cold. We are regular customers and the food is always nice and enjoyable. Ordered the same food we always have and did not enjoy or eat the food. Wasted our money and very disappointed with the bland cold food we received.

It was my birthday and we ordered a takeaway the food was awful it was like soup and burned spoken to curry cottage all we got is next time with order they would give us a discount. We would not order from here again it was terrible

Nothing wrong with the food in terms of flavour etc. Portions seemed a bit small, especially the potato, but I enjoyed the meal.

Prawn purée a little cold, otherwise food was lovely

starters were ok, prawn korma didn't have many prawns, veg biryani was tasty, but for my first order from this place, it was just ok, nothing special. I can't submit this without rating the restaurant service - difficult for a take-away!! I'll give 3 stars but really this should be not applicable.

No nonsense curry emporium. A well established business serving good food.

Called to make an order at 10.30pm. Business closes at 11.30 pm. Reception asks the driver if he will deliver to my postcode (even though I have ordered before) and reception came back to the phone and lied and said the driver left to go home already. ( I speak bengali so unlucky for getting caught. Bad business.

main curries were mostly sauce not enough chicken or prawns

Got raw prawns in a prawn cocktail starter. If I'd asked for sushi that's fair enough but I didn't. Called them and they did nothing about it. Won't be using them again . The rest of the food was very average and small in portion.

I always get a very , very good Chicken Dhansak and a Prawn Puri from here. Biryani can be a bit hit and miss.Usually get a takeaway, only dined in once but was so drunk I cant remember.

Overall the food was really good, it was a little cold considering how close the restaurant is to my address but I understand they have to wait for drivers. The garlic chicken was a little oily and the garlic was bitter but the naan breads were really good and the chicken tikka had a lovely flavour. I would order again.

Food arrived late, the chicken and lamb were both dry, also very stingy on the portion sizes, the foil container was half full, so no extra sauce for my nann to dip into. Rang to complain and was told the manager would ring back but did not. I do not recommend, you can get much better else where.

One of the most satisfying meals I’ve had delivered. Lovely flavours, well portioned, meat to sauce ratio in the curry was excellent. Delivered in a very friendly manner at a distance. Thank you for a lovely meal, I will be back!

It had a lot of flavour with a thick curry sauce & onions, which were cooked to perfection (ie the onions were still crispy). It wasn't spicy (hot) for me, even though it's detailed as medium hot. I'm definitely going to order from them again & maybe, when everything is back to normal, go to their restaurant.

Excellent meal from Curry Cottage, arrived slightly earlier than expected (great, we were hungry!) and was as delicious as ever. V generous portions.

Just average food - okay, but lacking anything outstanding.

The taste was there but wow was it spicy. Nearly blew our heads off! I had a rogan josh and my mum a bhuna and both were so spicy we couldn’t eat it! Be grudge paying for it tbh. How could it be so spicy when it had the same spice rating as a korma????? Will the restaurant do anything to compensate us???

First time customer as my usual is closed during the lock down. Was really impressed. The delivery driver was friendly . The food had flavour. It was a really nice change to my usual. Would definitely use again :)
