Vegetarian main had bits of chicken in it. Safe to say I am deeply upset at the lack of care given to prepare vegetarian/meat options. Will never eat here again and I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered!!

I ordered vegetarian main and came with small pieces of chicken inside. Only realised after eating some and recognising the texture was off. I'm very upset about the lack of care when handling meals and dietary requests. It's a shame as my partners food was nice.

Sag aloo was drenched it what seemed to be oil 🤢 chicken tikka was ment to be a curry and came as a starter and was sat in what looked like pink water.

Delivered on time, but cheesy naan had no cheese 😔 and it was dry and very tough, also there was some kind of hard black gristley stuff in the naan bread?

I ordered a Biryani via the Just Eat app, in the “comments” section I requested a madras sauce. When the meal arrived it came with a creamy lentil sauce. I called Paprika to query the order and was rudely told they don’t read comments & I should have telephoned the request through. I’m just glad I didn’t comment on an allergy ! I raised a case with Just Eat who said they can’t ask vendors to read comments & suggested I should have telephoned it through. That ivsuggests renders the App pointless, I may as well just telephoned the vendor in future. Paprika’s response was rude & obstructive, I will not use them again. I binned the meal.

I specifically put in comments I would like a madras sauce with my biryani. This was missed and not added to my order. When I call the restaurant, they admitted they didn’t look at “comments” & I should have telephoned through my request. They then blamed the Just Eat app for the omission. Appalling !

As always the taste of the food was amazing. But in the main there were 6 small pieces of chicken - I think for a £10 main that’s poor. Hard to share a main and have 3 small bites of chicken each.

If I could give this less than a star I would have waited an hour and a half for the food bear in mind it was just chicken tikka masala chips rice and two lots of naan bread. I called up to see where it was after an hour he told me it was on its way. Waited another 10 minutes he said it was leaving soon I said it was getting late and he said it wasn’t bear in mind it was nearly 12. Finally arrives then realise one naan bread is missing the chips are uncooked in the middle the masala was cold would never order from here again terrible food terrible service

Fabulous food enjoyed by all the family! Nice crispy samosa to start followed by a feast of four different main courses, rice and Naan. It all looked freshly prepared and arrived carefully packed. Each dish was tasty and spicy and exactly as described in the menu. Great food and great service by Paprika and Just Eats.

Food was fantastic, delivered in good time, driver just needs to be aware that the customer is hard of hearing so a light tap at the porch door is unlikely to elicit a response! Not really a criticism! Just need to be more robust! If he’d stepped into the porch and rung the bell, no problems! Anyway, this has got to be one of the best meals I’ve had in ages, will most definitely be ordering again!

Great food but turned up 20 minutes before the time requested so we were not home! They did wait but not all of us were home in time to then eat it hot!!!

Very tasty chicken jalfrezi and a chicken and mushroom balti. Side of sag aloo and a peswari naan and a plain naan. We collected - it was ready on time and nice and hot. This is our no 1 takeaway and it consistently very good.

So disappointed….thought I’d give this restaurant one last try, and won’t be making this mistake again! Soggy poppadoms, Dansak tasted like it had 3 tbsps of sugar in it, as did the Pathia, which should have had more spice. Waste of £30!

Following an online order I plated up my meal and tucked in. Unfortunately within a few mouthfuls I found a metal press stud within the Chicken madras. I called the restaurant immediately, they took my contact number and i'm still awaiting a call back. They did offer there and then to replace my meal but as you can imagine I wont be eating from there ever again as I consider this to be a food hygiene issue and could have caused severe issues if swallowed. I have decided to give until the end of this week until I escalate.

By chance I found a metal button in my meal. I’ve called the restaurant but still not had a reply. I will escalate if not addressed this evening

Lovely meal we had a chicken dansak and a chicken tikka Roshni with mushroom rice and plain naan, it was cooked to perfection. I asked for less sugar in the tikka dish and this was noted - thank you. It was ready on time and we collected. Would recommend.

Delivery took way too long and the food was horrible. Disgusting taste nothing like what it was supposed to be. Pakistani restaurants are way better. It wasn't worth the wait or the money.

This place has gone down the pan. I can honestly say that the take away I had tonight was the worst I’ve had in 20 years. I had to remove the meat. It didn’t even resemble chicken.

Was highly recommended this place but was sadly disappointed. I ordered paneer tikka starter, paneer chilli starter and tandoori chicken starter. Paneer tikka was battered which was odd and not what I was expecting (my fault for not reading the description) but found it bland with too much batter to paneer ratio. Paneer chilli was a tub of cooked onions with 7 bland pieces of finely chopped paneer. Tandoori chicken starter was tough and on the bone which I didn't expect (was not written in the description that it would be on a bone). Will not order from here again

We order from here regularly but tonight was absolutely diabolical not just the food but the customer service was appalling. The food arrived before the eta however it was stone cold full of water and there was about 10 chips in the bag. When phoning the restaurant expecting them to sort this as any decent person would he point blank refused. So for the sake of one order he has lost customers for life. My children are hungry and even they turned their noses up because of how bland watery and cold it was. After being a loyal customer to these people for nearly 3 years i am appalled that they didn't sort this especially since it was our first and last problem with them. Also there were about 4 pieces of meat in each curry. Again he didn't care.

First time we have used this place as our usual takeaway was closed. Food arrived on time and was piping hot. I wasn’t sure what to expect as some of the reviews wasn’t great, but I think we may have just found our new takeaway as the food was excellent. I eat Indian/Bangladeshi/Pakistani food often ( usually in Birmingham) and this was up there with some of the best i’ve had.

Ordered a take away. Arrived on time. Chicken Tikka BadamI and Chicken Malaya. Both me and my husband really enjoyed the food. Will definitely use again. Cannot fault at all.absolutely beautiful

Worst customer service experience ever from a take away. Placed an order on 04.07.20 through Just eat for collection. We were told that our order would be ready to collect at 6:50. After arriving on time, we were told that they could not find the order which lead to another 30 minute wait. Eventually the food arrived. When we got home we noticed that the chicken samosas that we ordered were lamb. The person who ordered the samosas does not eat lamb and therefore we rang paprika to inform them on their mistake and asked for a replacement. We were told that we could not have a replacement and they did not offer us a refund. The manager then hung up on us and blocked our number. We will not be revisiting after this, which is a shame as it is a take away we enjoy most of the time, but this experience has ruined it for us.

Me and my partner have not physically been to the restaurant however we have had TAKEAWAY on 2 separate occasions and both times the food was equally delicious and equally as consistent. The most amazing part is the food arrived to the door piping hot! Which is really good as most takeaway deliver food just warmed. 100% recommend and rate the restaurant. Especially the tandoori Thali for 2.

Take away for our anniversary.....loved it! Madras nice consistency and taste and hot which i enjoy. Butter Chicken and keema rice were lovely too, plus delivered earlier than expected! Cant wait for our next one.

I have now made Paprika my go to Indian takeaway, as the food is always delicious. It is always delivered piping hot too. I have tried several different things on their menu & have not been disappointed. Would definitely recommend the jalfrezi.

We are always on the search for a good curry takeaway as our favourite is due to shut later in the year. Paprika was a pleasant surprise. Five of us ordered and no-one had a bad word to say about the food - flavoursome and filling. Lovely extras added to the order (poppadoms and condiments) Not sure if this is a given for every order or if it was because our order was big, but that always goes down well! The only negative I would say was the delivery time.

Never been here before but fabulous. I’m a madras curry freak and this was honestly one of the best I’ve had. The veg biriani and Bombay Aloo side dish were also excellent. Very friendly service. The waiter came and tapped on the car window as we were leaving to bring us extra poppadums, mint sauce and onion salad.

I have been using Paprika for take away Indian food for at least 15 years. I have always found the quality of the food of a high consistency and the staff there are always friendly. My last visit was on Saturday 26th October 2019, and I ordered a chicken and mushroom balti with pilau rice and garlic nan bread. Extremely tasty and as always and I always look forward to my take aways from Paprika. Highly recommended!

Ordered online at 7:15pm on a Friday, email said delivery would be 50 minutes which I presumed was an overestimate to give them time to deliver early, but it turned out to be more like 80 minutes. I phoned after an hour to enquire but no response. So it was late and I couldn't contact them. Not good. I ordered an item I had never tried before and I will never order it again because it was not good. I won't write this place off completely because I've liked their traditional staple dishes in the past and the price is reasonable, but tonight was very poor indeed.

The food was tasteless and meat was disgusting. To top it all off they billed us twice! There is much better takeouts than this.

Picked a meal I'd never heard of but sounded awesome! Phoned in, be ready in 15-20 mins, 25 mins later I walk in, ready! Fantastic! That's a keeper is that place! 6/5!

Very nice food and excellent customer service

Thought we'd give Paprika a try, so we placed an order for delivery asked if they delivered to our postcode which they acknowledged took our order & stated a 50 minute wait, which we accepted Fridays are busy so continued to have a well earned drink in the house. After an hour 15 mins we thought we just ring to get an ETA, another 10 minutes we were told.After around 90 minutes I called back now starving to be told we don't deliver to your area - What!!!! You took my order & gave me a delivery time ???. First & last experience of this place your service to delivery stinks !!!.Rather eat a kebab of the pavement than but money in the pockets of this shocking place.Hope this review warns others to look elsewhere try Taj Mahal in Rugeley they know how to treat customers & very punctual.

Had a chicken tikka pansdana came across raw chicken pieces. Not good enough .if you want a day of sick from work order a take away from there.

We have tried all curry houses in lichfield and this is By far the best! Delicious curry every time.

We had a sizeable delivery for all the family. The starters were ok but then the main course ( Korma and masala for the kids) was sooo sweet we couldn’t eat it. To be fair the chilli chicken for me was ok, the lamb rogan josh for my wife was tasty once you played bob apple through the deep deep grease but the kids meals were inedible. The korma tasted of so much coconut, it was grainy like it was made up totally of coconut and sugar. Couldn’t taste anything beyond the coconut and sugar. Kids would not eat any of it (ok with chocolate and dib daps earlier but refused this on the grounds of too sweat) we tasted it and it was disgusting. The masala which was also meant for the kids was exactly the same as the Korma but red. Maybe it did have different ingredients but apart from the vivid colour difference there was so much coconut and sugar it was impossible to tell any difference to the taste. I did call them to explain politely that they must of made a mistake and I was told it was no mistake and it should have that amount of coconut and sugar. I’ve got 30 years experience of eating curries including from supermarkets that generally cater for the masses. I’ve had bad curries from all over including the compromises from using a supermarket but not 1 has been as inedible as this korma and masala. If this is their idea of edible food then it should be avoided. My advise, go somewhere else, I have never been served food so difficult to stomach.

As a takeaway: Indian restaurants are fairly ubiquitous. For me, it takes something to stand out. Paprika certainly does not. Having had two dishes, they were comparatively below average.

We've had trouble with our regular Indian (Lal Bagh) so we saw this one on just eat & oh my! It was the best Indian we have had in a longggg time! - I would definitely recommend it for Indian takeaway, both myself and my other half thoroughly enjoyed it- this will be our new regular. Thanks again!

Best Indian takeaway in Lichfield!!

This place is my daughters favourite. However, we had quite a different experience. Although the food arrived in good time and was hot it was vile. We ordered a lamb tikka balti. The lamb was tough and chewy, in fact it was that disgusting we questioned whether it was indeed our meat of choice. We have since learned that a relative ordered lamb too and was equally disappointed. Explanation paprika
