The best restaurants serving American food in Cardiff South Wales

Shak and taha were unbelievablely polite and respectful and when my order came it was amazing I’ve never had a five guys so nice in my life and I’m a common customer, amazing!!!!

So I want to Blue Jay Bar yesterday for furmeet event, the venue is really lovely inside with a lot of space for furries and it is well designed including upstairs. Now I haven’t tried the food sadly but I been hearing is lovely and staff are great too. The only problems I seen is some of lights don’t work or some are flickering which I’m sure does be fixed soon and me & my friend did notice upstairs the ventilator is leaking. But all in all, I well come to this place again (for furmeet obviously) I will give update on this review with the food when I’m going to try them, I see you all again soon. Food great, but forgot to put the backyard chicken, so I am overcharged nearly £8

Vino para el cumpleaños de Hallie, así que fue un fin de semana lleno de entretenimiento, pero después de las películas en Cardiff decidimos pasar a comer algo y Sally fue increíble! Realmente nos hizo sentir extra especial! Sally es un mérito para tu equipo y si no es la gerente, ¡deberías hacerla porque era increíble! Espero que reciba una buena paga porque me encantaría que viniera a trabajar para mi equipo con habilidades como la suya. ¡Muchas gracias Sally!

The staff was very rude. I ordered caramel latte and the girl made me espresso which I never drink. I calmly said that I ordered latte, she was still insisting that I ordered espresso.I said no, I really ordered caramel latte and another staff member joined in and said in a rude way that I shouldn’t talk like that when I just was trying to persuade them that I didn’t order espresso.Nobody said sorry for misunderstanding, and continued to be rude to me. I was very annoyed and it was the worst experience with the staff Cardiff.

huge disappointment with the Venue that was attended on Saturday. I have attended the venue many times before, where we were greeted at the door, taken to a dedicated VIP area and looked after. Drinks were on the table and all in all we had a great time. This was not the case this time around! When attending I told the door man that we had a table booked. He told me to go and see someone at the bar. After waiting for 15minutes, the bar tender told me to find a table and then come back for my drinks order. We found a table, but it was messy and other party goers were dancing on tables around us. We then waited another 15 minutes to get served. I asked for drinks to be bought to our table, but they said they didn’t do that. We then ordered 8 lagers, 2 ciders, gin & tonic and a whiskey. We asked for draught stout, but this was off. The selection was very, very poor. After starting to drink the lager (pilsner) we all thought that it tasted awful so went back the bar to complain. Again, we queued up and were told that we could have CANS instead, which were better. At this point I had enough and spoke to a manager and asked for our money back, but he said that he couldn’t do that, and we would have to request this via head office. He said that he would put me in a VIP area and reluctantly we agreed. It was so far removed from a VIP area, No heating, no entertainment and no atmosphere. We were then given 8 cans in an ice bucket, which tasted the same as the draft (Awful). We had a bottle of Rum, which was fine but to be honest by this time we just wanted to get out of there. So drank up as quickly as possible and left. Another group then entered the VIP area and left after about 10 minutes and even gave us their beers, which we didn’t drink as they were horrible. If I was to mark down my experience out of 10 it would be -10. Absolutely awful, I was very embarrassed that I took my guests there and will never attend again.

It's not often that a burger makes a 5 star standard but the Shake Shack certainly makes food of the highest quality !! My only disappointment was the sticky toffee ice cream 🍦 .... sorry it was a fail 😔

Fuimos a este restaurante anoche después de una visita al teatro y no encontramos ningún otro lugar para comer después de caminar de regreso a nuestro hotel, ya que era un domingo por la noche y era tarde. Éramos un grupo de 6 amigos de la Edad Media que nunca habían comido en cinco chicos antes. El personal era encantador muy acogedor, servicial y nos dijo cómo pedimos, encantadoras hamburguesas frescas estaban hechas para nosotros, nos sentamos y comimos y no nos sentimos apresurados a salir. El personal es un crédito a este restaurante, nada fue demasiado problema y allí sonrisas amables hicieron nuestra noche. -Muchas gracias.

Esta fue mi primera visita y me pareció fabuloso. No tuve una comida completa, solo 5 tiernos con salsas, pero fue tan agradable. Las ternuras eran de muy buena calidad y las salsas eran tan agradables! Sin duda volveré para una comida completa en algún momento!

Mi experiencia de primera mano en wing stop fue magnífica. La comida salió después de solo 5 minutos, precios justos y la comida era preciosa. La mayoría de los lugares de comida me miran raro cuando ven mi camisa que tiene a mi mejor amigo muerto en ella, pero nadie aquí lo hizo. Si vas a comer en cualquier lugar de Cardiff te recomiendo encarecidamente Wing Stop. Descansa en Peice Oliver eras un amigo encantador que amaba wing stop xox.

Food cold and items missing all the time they never get order right they are rushing to get orders out but don,t check everything.

Pulse Cardiff is one of the most poorly run, toxic venues in the city. It hides behind a reputation of being inclusive, but in reality, it’s inconsistent, discriminatory, and filled with power-tripping staff who create more problems than they solve. There is no real dress code policy, yet security regularly turns people away based on personal bias or how someone “looks” — while letting others in wearing costumes, casual clothes, or barely anything. It’s selective enforcement at best, outright discrimination at worst. The bar staff are rude and unprofessional, often overcharging people for basic mixers and getting defensive or aggressive when questioned about it. Reports of drinks being tampered with, watered down, or deliberately altered are not uncommon — and that is completely unacceptable. Management and security clearly lack training in both customer service and safety. There are multiple reports of victims being ignored, mocked, or accused of lying when trying to report harassment or unsafe situations. This is a venue that puts people at risk by refusing to take complaints seriously. Their inflated egos are clearly doing overtime to make up for whatever they’re lacking elsewhere — because there is zero professionalism, maturity, or respect shown to the people keeping the place open. For a place that claims to be a safe space, Pulse fails on every level — respect, accountability, consistency, and basic decency. It’s an embarrassment to Cardiff’s nightlife and to the LGBTQ+ community it pretends to support. I genuinely hope this place gets investigated, reported, and shut down. It doesn’t deserve the licence it holds.

went in for breakfast and was met with mixed feelings. my girlfriend ordered the salmon, egg and guacamole bagel to which they received their egg cold. i ordered the sweet chili chicken melt and there was way too much chicken to the point you could not even taste anything else. in my opinion, they could have added less chicken with more sauce and perhaps some fillings could have been added, such as salad or tomatoes. i personally didn’t like the fixed options, i think it would have been more fun to mix and match whatever you wanted inside your bagel but to each there own. overall, the food was good!! just wish there could have been more flexible options

This is the best Weather spoon I have ever been to. Food is top tier. Been there many times. With friends and family. The staff are all nice. Waiting is not that long it's average. Highly Recommended place.
