What a joke. A parody of a restaurant. Bad food. Bad service.

Horrible, absolutely everything was horrible.

Fairly typical spoons but now getting near end of days, often see flies even in winter, toilets smelly and disabled toilet used by everyone so often smelling urine in the pub. Not suitable for children anymore. Only go here for cheap drink and food.

Didn't have food...but good choice of ale, great price and service. Happy to spend time there when I can

The Ivor davies is a very beautiful wetherspoons this is our second time in it and we find the staff very friendly and we will call again

If you like Wetherspoons you will like this place.

Good food and drink at very reasonable pricees. We still like the place and the staff make it as well.

To the Irish whose eyes are in 2 different postcodes… it’s not our fault that your parents are cousins. Stop being so uptight and use your brain and not your 3rd eye. This Wetherspoons has the standard average food but always full of old men with a pint, not a great atmosphere and not particularly family friendly if you are wanting a meal with children

It's usually good for food ..my partner however used disabled toilets today (has hidden disability) . It was filthy . I know every clown uses these but maybe a key be best ..awfully dirty

Food was good, staff were nice and ordering was easy - not very clean though.. Not the staff's fault as some customers seem to think spreading food around the table is wonderful. But not so nice if you've got to scrape dried beans off the table

This is one of the better weather spoons I have been in, clean, good service, excellent prices, and the food is well cooked, whoever's doing the cooking needs a pat on the back for producing a very well cooked breakfast, been here several times now and it's always been good and hats off to the service staff. There are a few other spoons I'v been too could learn a few things from the staff here. Thank you from me keep up the good work.

A Wetherspoon restaurant. The breakfast price is reasonable.

Called in for a beer or two, place is really nothing special. The Bristol Belle IPA was quite good as was Jemima's Pitchfork, Gower Gold not so good.

Great pub staff brilliant very cheap definitely going there again especially this weekend two free pints to all regular customers happy days fabulous

I used to love this JD Wetherspoons , however, I had a bad experience during the last visit. The whole place smells like human urine, especially their chairs it actually smells bad . I had to change the seats because of the smell. It's not a good pleasing environment. The best part of this wetherspoons is that they serve very hot food, especially chips and onion rings. Best affordable drinks. That's the reason I prefer to visit this place. But now I need to think.

Been here a few times and it's a solid pub. Service is generally good and food is nice. Tends to be an older crowd at least during the day. Their Stowford Press cider is a decent Strongbow alternative if that's your taste. Plenty of seating including an upstairs area. Food is good and bar staff are friendly.

Good quality of food and a great price, beans a bit on the cold side, but that was the only downside.

Great value Wetherspoon. Quality real ale for just over £2. Great!

awful, plastic glasses, not enough staff, they moan if you go outside for fresh air as too crowded inside, ruff as place, give it a miss.

Didn't have food but did look beautiful and tasty, unfortunately one bar member had a bit of abuse and she handled it very professionaly, all in all a great atmosphere and nice pint

Brilliant staff at wetherspoons and the only problem is there's no cups for the coffee machine they said someone been stealing cups

Got to say shift manager was excellent aswel as the service,always clean food shift manager Jack helped us out with bill query always willing to assit price on point get there or pay the price?

Looking at bit tired - had a breakfast which was poor.

Went for food and a couple drinks. Seevice was lightning quick and correct ! Couldn't believe how quick it was haha! Only ordered a brunch from the small plates menu (with a drink) but rook less than 15 mins. Was quite taken aback. I've given 5 stars for that alone. The pub itself is ok, 3 to 4 stars at best. Good visit definitely will go again. Ps... love the plates lol

Good selection of beers, price of drinks brings a smile to your face!

One of the best Wetherspoon I've been to in a long time. Great menu and the prices are lower in this one due to alot of competition around. Really good atmosphere. The staff was very good here even though it was as busy as it gets. Can't wait to return.

Very accommodating the moved tables do our family could all sit together. Had a great time eating and drinking and catching up 😊

Cheap drink and attracts a lot of custom on a football day

Decent quality pub with a huge selection of ales drinks etc. Just don't go on a match day and portions have gotten smaller

Had a lovely breakfast with my younger brother which was very tasty indeed!

Atmosphere okay prices reasonable.

Sadly, not a great experience. Tuesday 20th Dec friends and I popped in for coffee and cake. I ordered the pancakes but was given the smaller version, no big deal. I told them it was the wrong order then was asked to get my order from my friends phone so they could check. I'm sure they could have checked in the kitchen. They did make me two more pancakes but didn't give me ice-cream.(which is included) I was told I could have it as long as I paid for it. Bearing in mind it was their mistake not mine. I was then informed that kitchen manager Charlie was more concerned with stock control. Just a little customer service goes a long way

Had a large mixed grill, had wrong meat extreamly over done, onion rings over done the side of onion rings under done 2 meals odered for the same table came around 10 mins apart, when questioned the bar maid was very apologetic and brought 1 of each meat to the table all cooked perfectly so can't understand why the meal was shocking.

Had lovely food and a chilled atmosphere

Cheap good quality food, great choice of alcohol, clientele can be somewhat rough around the edges although most lovely and friendly. Staff are excellent and friendly mostly. Service excellent especially with the new app that allows you to order from your table. Definitely recommend. The mixed grills are back !

Breakfast was good, hot and reasonably priced. Not too busy so got served straight away and food arrived quickly.

Awful service, some of the food is inedible. Never to return.

Wheelchair accessible although disabled toilet can get dirty quickly should be checked and cleaned more regularly than it is difficult access to the condiments table on busy occasions you end up wandering tables asking to borrow sauces etc have to check cutlery as it is often dirty recently visited again the place has gone from bad to worse the disabled toilet was left open for all people to use was dimly lit toilet pan is badly stained as was the sink looked like it's being used as a urinal floor was sticky this is also meant to be used for baby changing !needs a deep clean considering reporting to environmental health !disgusting did report it but only one person operating the bar waitresses and cleaning did a quick spray but not enough staff maintaining this hovel shame on wetherspoons

Nice service and friendly place

Been here twice this week in the afternoon/early evening . Seems to be short staffed ? Dirty plates and glasses left on tables for ages , nearly every table inside and out had used glasses not collected . One behind bar with queues. only good thing was price of drinks . Blonde haired barmaid/manager walking around looking important but doing nothing

It's spoons! But got to be the worst spoons I've ever experienced

Nice looking place but the service was terrible mistaken harf roast chicken for a chicken korma I don't know how on earth you can mistake that order had to wait ages for it the place was empty..... Now for the part the really got me the seat I was sitting on in the first booth there was little fungus Gants flying from underneath the seat so I decided to have a look OMFG it's full of rubbish and food put me right off my meal......

Great offers on meals service very quick

Many spaces including upstairs. Through the small windows upstairs you can see the Cowbridge road with warm sunlight.

You get what you pay for cheap prices cheap food

The food arrived without the advertised accompaniments. When asked we were told that they would be out in a minute. Chips on one plate were stone cold and all the chicken was dry without the missing dips and coleslaw. The missing items didn't arrive. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming though.

The worse weatherspoons ever. Food was cold disgusting no beans on jacket potato. Paid for extra cheese and didn’t get any. Asked manager to come over. The staff were really rude and didn’t care less. Looked at you like shut up who cares. Don’t go here and waste your money. Partner came home with upset stomach and nothing but dirty stinky wet farts…. Just don’t do it!!!!

Shame I have to even gv it 1 star. Burger cold, chips barley warm. Less than 10 beans with a jacket potato. Ended up with stomach ache. Staff should be on the dole as they don't care. Do not visit this pub I should have guessed this is the worst wetherspoons in the u.k. because no locals were eating. A disgrace to spoons. Shut it down before drone becomes hospitalized.

It's a spoons. I can't give it a five on that alone. Cheap and cheerful but the staff are what make this place.
