huge disappointment with the Venue that was attended on Saturday. I have attended the venue many times before, where we were greeted at the door, taken to a dedicated VIP area and looked after. Drinks were on the table and all in all we had a great time. This was not the case this time around! When attending I told the door man that we had a table booked. He told me to go and see someone at the bar. After waiting for 15minutes, the bar tender told me to find a table and then come back for my drinks order. We found a table, but it was messy and other party goers were dancing on tables around us. We then waited another 15 minutes to get served. I asked for drinks to be bought to our table, but they said they didn’t do that. We then ordered 8 lagers, 2 ciders, gin & tonic and a whiskey. We asked for draught stout, but this was off. The selection was very, very poor. After starting to drink the lager (pilsner) we all thought that it tasted awful so went back the bar to complain. Again, we queued up and were told that we could have CANS instead, which were better. At this point I had enough and spoke to a manager and asked for our money back, but he said that he couldn’t do that, and we would have to request this via head office. He said that he would put me in a VIP area and reluctantly we agreed. It was so far removed from a VIP area, No heating, no entertainment and no atmosphere. We were then given 8 cans in an ice bucket, which tasted the same as the draft (Awful). We had a bottle of Rum, which was fine but to be honest by this time we just wanted to get out of there. So drank up as quickly as possible and left. Another group then entered the VIP area and left after about 10 minutes and even gave us their beers, which we didn’t drink as they were horrible. If I was to mark down my experience out of 10 it would be -10. Absolutely awful, I was very embarrassed that I took my guests there and will never attend again.

The last few reviews doesn't exaggerate, this place is beyond awful. Used to be amazing for after games, they even used to host both rugby teams but I wouldn't even dream of hosting a student event here!! Toilets were a disgrace, didn't look like they had been cleaned in weeks and 70% of them were broken. Most of the taps didn't have any running water. Barely had any drinks available and didn't even seem bothered about restocking, the manager didn't give a crap. Please stay away unless you want really expensive drinks at a complete dump.

Dreadful appalling worst bar I have ever been to, avoid at all cost…. Not gas to run the beer taps…. Toilets don’t work, shouldn’t be allowed to be open

Well what a dump! We paid for a booth for 14 people and u couldn't get 6 people in there we couldn't go in until 4pm, and then we did it was freezing cold up stairs, toilets were disgusting sick in the men's and a bucket soaking up a leak!! Then the women's lots were out of order no tiolet paper and poo all around the seats, now I couldn't understand as it had just been opened upstairs, If it had been open for hours and people were drunk it would have been a different story. BUT this was not the case as they had just opened upstairs and we were the first group up there!! The manager told us f@#k off and drink somewhere else his attitude was appalling. Customer always right? And said there was nothing wrong in tiolets. I would not recommend this place to anyone and everyone we spoke to was leaving after there drinks!!! Shocking service and what a dump!!!!

I have visited before and had a good night although last weekend when I visited for my birthday with a group of friends, Me and a few others arrived first and we were let straight in without payment but when the rest of our party turned up (who were black&Mixed) minutes later they were refused entry and when they explained that half of the group had already been let in they were made to stand out in the rain till the bouncer decided to make them pay! Won’t be visiting again seeing as there is a race problem!

COMPLETE SHAMBLES. On Saturday night we attended Tiger Tiger Cardiff and had booked the karaoke booth for 2 hours from 10pm to midnight. Firstly we were shown to the booth to see it was filthy dirty and the floor was all wet. The worker there openly told us that the booth had not been cleaned as we entered but made no comment about apologising for this. Secondly, the booth was unbearably hot to the point each person had to go and stand outside every 5 to 10 minutes. We were advised the air con had broken in there but yet again no apology for the inconvenience. Nor were we advised at time of booking or in advance after the booking was made by anyone that this was the case. There was nothing but a small battery powered fan that we each had to pass around one by one to try and be able to stay in there and use the booth for karaoke. Thirdly, the woman that took us to the booth and explained the rules was also incredibly rude and kept telling us to shut up and even said she ‘just wanted to finish her shift.’ She couldn’t have been less welcoming and unapologetic. The fact we paid £200 for 2 hours in this state is completely unacceptable and we are all pretty disgusted. I am not normally someone to complain but this has given me no choice to contact you. It’s utterly appalling and none of us would return to your bar again because of it. It was our works summer due and quite frankly your organisation put a dampener on the end of the evening. Complete waste of £200 plus all the drinks we bought on top. Go and spend your money elsewhere this place is the biggest rip off!!

Dead even after an Ed Sheeran concert, rude staff, plastic cups, no lager, fingers in glasses, did I mention obscenely rude staff? £10 entry for what? Should have just walked away when we saw empty windows.. take my advice and avoid unless you like very over priced drinks xx

We booked a table for food and drinks for two couples after the rugby at the stadium. Booked well in advance knowing everywhere would get booked up. A few emails back and forth about what we wanted and then I paid the £40 deposit which was redeemable against the bill. Terms and conditions were agreed to that stated the area we were to be in was strictly table service and music was played at a background level to allow comfortable conversation etc., perfect, that’s what we wanted. We arrived on time showed the booking on phone and told there was no record and no table for us. Yes, they agreed that we have the booking and can see the paid deposit but nothing they can do. Asked for refund they say they can’t do that unfortunately. So we hang around saying we either leave with a refund or get given our table. After 20 mins or so they say they’ve found us a table but then take us down to the basement where it’s pitch black, it’s basically a dingy nightclub with no-one in it bc it’s only 6pm. We wait at this table and when we don’t get served ask at the bar where we’re told it’s bar service only. Ask if there’s a menu and they say there’s no food, we are on the wrong floor for food. Show our booking and ask how we redeem money and told best they can offer us is one drink each. We take a drink and go to leave but realise our beanie hats which were on the chair aren’t there, watch with iPhone torches but can’t find. Ask to leave details in case they’re handed in and told we can email. So we left, couldn’t get in anywhere else so go home and then email tiger tiger. They give a generic we’ll look into response and then hear nothing for weeks. I follow up with an email and the one back says that they’re satisfied they honoured the booking as we had a table and drink. A blunt, short message with no mention of the lost hats or any kind of apology. We’ve been several times in the past with much larger groups and so thought we knew what to expect, we won’t ever be booking again for a party after this experience.

We had a table booked for 4 people which required an £80 deposit, in my opinion that much of a deposit is absolutely ridiculous but that wasn’t the problem. We arrived 5 minutes early just to confirm our table to be told they will “find us a table” which isn’t what you should be saying to people that have paid a deposit to keep a table for them. So 15 minutes goes by and the manager or floor manager came to us to say they have found a table. They gave us an absolutely horrendous table with bar stools completely away from any screens to watch the game. 3 of the 4 bar stools were broken and the foot rest was back to front with the seat so you just had to keep your legs hanging or fall taller people like myself had to rest out feet on the floor which wasn’t too bad. We weren’t told that we had our deposit as a bar tip until half time when we found someone to ask. Went to the bar and they didn’t have our table recognised as having a tab so we had to find the manager again to tell her to sort it out. We had 7 drinks between the 4 of us and used £78 on 7 drinks. Absolutely horrendous when we found out. We weren’t ordering crazy drinks like triple vodka lemonade we had 5 pints and one of the people with us doesn’t drink alcohol so he had 2 pints of Diet Pepsi. Will never ever ever be going back here again and will always tell people to avoid this place at all costs. Absolute s**t hole 👎🏻 *If I could give it half a star I wouldn’t even do that should be no star*

So happy me and my friends decided to go to Tiger Tiger! Who knew you could have so much fun singing Karaoke. We were having so much fun we decided to extend our booking and the staff were lovely and really accommodating. We had such a good night I would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely go again.

this bar is more like a nightclub, with sticky floors. we went on a saturday night at 11pm and we were the only people there... we had to pay a £20pp deposit on our table which came off the drinks bill, which was fine and everything went smoothly. upstairs, it is a club with lots of rooms and tables. downstairs had a more relaxed restaurant vibe.

Booked a table for 12 for after the rugby, no issues on entry at about 9pm, table area decent, not too busy. Had a bar tab from the booking, again no issues with that, you could only buy cans!! Cans of cider that were small and cans of cheap Pilsner. Music was decent, everyone in good spirits from the rugby but total profiteering at the bar.

I booked two months before the date needed for a cocktail masterclass for my best friends hen night. I paid the balance in full, as requested, as they would not take a deposit, so for 6 people, it was 180 pounds. Two days before the scheduled event, they emailed me to say the event had been cancelled with no reason as to why! I contacted them straight away for a refund to which they replied that it would be a 30 day wait! I now had a 2 hour gap in the day and no ones money. I had to rebook another venue for £150 which ended up being the best night. Do not bother going here and go to revolutions instead! They were fab and I wish I had just gone there in the first place. I still haven’t had any money back. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Booked a table here two weeks in advance for a group of 8 with a deposit of £200 paid. On arrival they wouldn’t even speak to us nor acknowledge the booking. They said we had to line up as everyone had similar bookings, the line would have had at least 100 if not more people in it. Most had paid a deposit for a sit down table. They were clearly doing a money grab and taking advantage of the rugby that night. We can’t get hold of the business to get a refund. DO NOT BOOK OR PAY MONEY TO THESE CRIMINALS!

Atrocious service. My friends and I spent £80 on a pre booked table and drinks package for 10pm last night. On arrival we were told by the door staff to join the back of a mile long queue (in the rain). According to them everyone in that one humongous queue had bought the same package. Ended up not being able to get in at all with no refund. Very disappointing - do not waste your money here.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!!!!! I booked a karaoke booth for a friends hen night and as requested paid the 20.00 per head booking fee. £220.00. A few weeks later they emailed to say that the booths wouldn’t be available as booked!! I could either use the money as a bar tab or request a refund. I requested a refund as I needed to book another venue ASAP. To date 3 weeks later I have heard nothing from the business. I have emailed constantly, tried to ring - none of their phone lines work!! And no response. They are now illegally keeping hold of my money!!!! This company is scamming its customers to part with money and then not deliver on its services or refund them!!! Despicable company!!!

In July I booked Tiger Tiger for one night as part of my best mate’s stag do. What I didn’t expect was to have to fork out £120 to do so, before the night had even started. That’s just the beginning… The thought of ‘happy hour’ was delightful, even if it was just for half hour as that was the only slot available that night. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. ‘Happy hour’ finished at 10pm. The six of us, our stag group, arrived at 21:30 to be seated at a FOUR seated table, squashed like sardines. This however wasn’t going to stop us having a good night. After we had picked our drinks from the list, we then had to wait half an hour to be served as we weren’t allowed to order at the bar at this point due to covid restrictions. As we hit 10pm, ‘happy hour’ was finishing. The waitress assured us that they would honour the deal though. HOWEVER… the deal was only running on cocktails. What they DID NOT mention before I booked was that they had no cocktails that night. Sorry?! No cocktails?! Immediately we asked if they would honour this promotion for other drinks to substitute the poor result of no cocktails. No was the answer. Great! So we’ve specifically booked the only slot remaining to be told that actually ‘happy hour’ wasn’t a thing that night. My money’s been taken but a service has not been provided and now I’m £120 worse off. Fair enough, Bruno (the nightclub manager) told me I would be entitled to a full refund but that’s part of the whole issue. Six weeks later, I’m still here waiting for communication back from anyone. Emails have been sent, NO REPLY. The phone number on the website doesn’t connect and the social media platforms are fickle with no response either. What was supposed to be a great night as part of a stag do, ended up being a horrendous one!

Tiger Tiger Cardiff is by far the worst place I have visited. When we placed our deposit (£120) a varied menu of food was available, however when we got to the venue no food was offered and they expected us to drink £120 worth of alcohol without having a meal at 6pm. When we explained that we needed to leave to go eat, and we wanted a refund, the manager (Tiberius) was SO RUDE to us. Raising his voice, and speaking in a derogatory manner, after around 20 minutes of arguing we were then offered a full refund, however it took about a month to come through, only after us reminding them again of their offer. To be frank, this experience completely ruined our night, and I have never been spoken to like this in a ‘customer service’ environment. I will not be going back there, and I urge others to do the same.

Similar to other review below we booked online for 4 of us which required an £80 total deposit.Once we we’re seated we asked for a cocktail which their menu online claims they have, to be told by a rude member of staff that they don’t do those. We proceeded to ask for a menu to see what cocktails were available to be told that they don’t have one.. great so no drinks menu? The member of staff gets the manager to come out to discuss the no menu with us for the manage to then tell us they don’t do any cocktails apart from 2 which are sex on the beach or tequila sunrise.Absolutely NOWHERE on their website/Facebook or Instagram do they say they are serving a reduced/non existent menu. This was one of the only reasons we booked to go here was for their range of cocktails!We asked for our deposit back for our table so we could go elsewhere because they clearly aren’t putting all the information about their lack of menu online and the new manager Bruno told us that he couldn’t give us the refund himself and we needed to take it up through the online booking system..We ended up only leaving with Bruno’s phone number and a ‘text’ message saying he authorises the refund when he knew full well we wouldn’t be getting it back.After countless contact with this place we are still yet to receive our £80 refund and it’s been almost a month.Avoid at all costs, next to nothing being served, not even a drinks menu to show and the place is so old and run down I wouldn’t waste the money!Been over a month and still no deposit back despite ringing constantly and emailing!!!

We booked a table for 6 people for my friends stag at a cost of a £120 deposit. We arrived at the designated time and we waited 20 minutes to be allowed in, after which they crammed us in a 4 person booth which we accepted as we just want a drink. We got told it was table service, and after 30 minutes we flagged someone down, who told us they will be right over. 10 minutes later they came over, to tell us that they aren’t doing cocktails that night, so we ordered different drinks. The order came to a surprising amount of money due to the happy hour we booked to get there for only being valid for cocktails which they weren’t serving! So we cancelled the order, but they refused to give the best man his deposit back right there, so the “manager” gave him a number to call, which turned out to be fake! Piss poor management, piss poor service and to top it off we paid/ or more accurately got scammed £120 for this experience. Avoid at all costs!! There is a Yates down the road, and they were great and saved our night! Don’t go to Tiger Tiger!

Cannot fault this place , remains the best club in Cardiff , I’ve never been out without finding myself finishing off a night in tiger tiger , staff and service is excellent with brilliant atmosphere

don’t order cider they have sh*t own brand cider not even nice or anyfink, booked a £60 deposit and they tried to STEAL our money and there wasn’t even anybody there or anyfink. would have given it zero stars if poss but to be fair to them it is a good location for a chun inbetween bars. i had a lovely vomit in toilet. staff members always white lion bar all the time. music and atmosphere was awful and made me want to drown in my mini plastic cup of b tech ‘cider’ ps. we met a man who said they let him in when he was 15 so they clearly don’t care about safeguarding issues, desgustang. pros: we weren’t groped because there was nobody there. go to peppermint instead i have a free cocktail for you. i’m dead :P

!!DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Wish I’d read a review before letting them take a £50 deposit. We booked a 4pm slot and on arrival thought we had been scammed as the place looks like it’s been closed down for years with the doors locked. The phone number listed on the website doesn’t actually exist, so after an hour waiting the venue finally opened. The website advertised a range of two for one cocktails - we were told that they could only offer two choices. We were offered a refund, but we’re still waiting for a month later.

First bar of the night and ended up staying till late - just fantastic C19 respectful, table booked; safe environment. Great team and service throughout - drinks flowed and a great time was had by all. Thank you so much

We visited Tiger Tiger yesterday for a cocktail making party as part of a joint birthday celebrations and I couldn’t recommend it more! We received a welcome drink on arrival and made two cocktails each (that you get to choose from a menu, unlike most places where there are two set drinks to make) There was also a great head to head game with shots, after our food platter, to add a little competition to the evening.Our host, Andy, was great and made the evening really fun and enjoyable for all. He was more than happy to answer the many questions we had about making different cocktails and was patient with everyone when making their individual cocktails.Would definitely recommend!

Club is great, drinks are nice, atmosphere is enjoyable, bar staff are very friendly but the music lets it down. Once it passes 9, It's a bit old fashioned and a bit sad when you see people yawning on the dance floor later at primetime on a saturday night. Would give the club 5/5 but genuinely feel the DJ let it down and some more 'with the times' music should be playing on a saturday night to get people dancing. Not quite sure who the audience they were aiming to please were but the drab music was not really pleasing anyone when we were there

Came here for a works do and I must say one of the worst I have ever been to. Arrived early as were told it was happy hour only to be told on arrival that management had ceased happy hour that night, even though happy hour signs were still displayed all over the bar, so was not a good start. Our meal was booked for 8:30 and was not happy to find out we were sat in the actual club so no one could talk to each other as it was very loud and to top it all off, just as the first course came out we were in view of someone being escorted out being sick! Even though we booked the meal months ago, three of us were told that they didn't have any turkey left which we ordered so we had to have something else. There was a reason we all ordered it months in advance, it was because we didn't like the other options, so we had to have a meal we didn't like. Service was so slow, so by the time the full 3 courses were served it was gone half 10, which meant some people had to leave straight away to catch trains etc. At £32 a head, was not impressed at all, but the dessert was nice at least.

Mix of music, gin served in plastic half pint glasses and very stingy with ice. The ladies loos are terrible, over half are out of order, of the remaining half have no seats and there is no loo roll, dont even think about drying your hands as every single hand dryer is out of order! Unhygienic! Sort it out!

Good location on Grey friar's Road.Staff were prompt and a good variety of drinks on offer.Male toilets need some work as one urinal off the wall and one of of action so looks a bit of a mess.Nice booths and I'm happy hour some decent drink offers.

Tuvimos la clase de preparación de cócteles, comida de 3 platos y cabina VIP con el paquete de bebidas de platino.La preparación del cóctel estuvo bien, la fiesta pareció disfrutarla, tenías a alguien enseñándote y pudiste elegir lo que hiciste.La comida de tres platos fue promedio, un pollo de palomitas de maíz picante muy bueno, no disfruté mi plato principal o el postre, ¡pero está cocinando para mucha gente y es más un club nocturno! El paquete de bebidas no estaba terminado, ¡así que probablemente no lo volvería a hacer! ¡O iría con bebedores más duros! ¡Pero al decir que el precio de las bebidas en realidad puedo hacerlo! ¡El processco era muy costoso! ¡38 libras por botella! ¡Probablemente no habría comprado eso si estuviera sobrio!Si quieres un todo en su lugar el. Esta es una buena opción! ¡No hay muchos lugares para actividades, comida y luego una discoteca! Era un poco caro, pero en general valió la pena con un buen ambiente.

Appalling!!!!! Had rubbish table even though we had booked. Chased them for a menu then finally ordered requesting garlic bread with our mains...received black garlic bread but no mains! Waited another 40 mins before asking where our mains were only to be told it wasn't going to be possible. While all this was going on, countless meals were being served to the back room. Thanks tiger tiger I guess we weren't important enough

Bad atmosphere, boys rude, music repetitive, expensive ticket

Well, what a wonderful night the 12 of us had. Shannon greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. Then the lovely Sam came to greet us and took us to a lovely room all to ourselves. The music was great and Sam was fab trying to control 12 women lol, great job Sam! We made fab cocktails, and the nibbles were delicious. Both Sam and Shannon really made our night. Thank you so much guys, we had the best time. I highly recommend the cocktail master class for a group night out!

16 of us came for a hen do, considering it was a Friday night the food arrived fairly quickly, unfortunately all the meals with chicken were not edible due to being overcooked but the waitresses were very helpful and it didn’t spoil the whole night! (Avoid the bbq chicken melt)

Tiger tiger is one night club, you can find in any alots of twon , also is good , if you are new in some where and you don’t know which nights club is good absolutely choos tiger tiger , is best options on that time , tiger tiger have have two or three saloon and kind of music, don’t miss it , have funny time there , good luck .

Just would like to say a big thank you to the bouncers in Tiger Tiger. We’ve just passed our A levels and celebrated in your club. It was really busy, however the guys on the front door were very polite and professional. My friend was on her own and the que was very long. I asked the big bouncer, bald head if she could jump the que as we were already in. Very politely he said not a problem. She showed ID and we went in. I wish all doorman were like that. Thank you.

Absolutely disaster! Got there table was ready, then asked for menu's to be told no we couldn't have food, although they was advertising food, As we booked with open table & not the club itself. After complaining, they allowed us to have food, which was very nice, we all enjoyed. My friend went to the bar for conqtour they had put triple sec in the bottle so it's wasn't the real liquor. Which when complained they gave her a refund. We'd just ate our food, we was asked to leave the table as it was booked out for another party. With in the 2 hours we was there we'd roughly spent between us about £500. I asked for the manager, her Name was Nicola, I showed her the email, which it never stated I only had the table for a few hours, she blamed open table, not putting in they email. She wasn't sorry at all, club was quite she didn't offer us any other tables, absolutely ruined my birthday, that's what we was out for, made us so un welcome towards the end, because we complained. Also the was no draught pumps working they was charging over £5 for a bottle lager, which was half pint. Said the wasn't having them fixed either. The club is absolute joke! I would never return there again. Management is waste time, need to go on customer service course, how to run a business. I'm a Manager in retail, run quite a few stores, if I had treated any customer like this, I would be looking for a new job, so unprofessional, o hope you take my comments on board. We had a great night with food and the karaoke booth but when we went to the bar the drinks that we had left (ice & water basically) was poured back into the Russian vodka bottles whilst we were at the bar, the member of staff even waited until she finished filling the bottle before she served us so it was in plain sight!! Don’t do 1/2 price on drinks if you are going to pour the dregs into the bottles I would rather pay full price!!!

We booked for a birthday celebration - food and drinks were excellent. Cocktails half price before 10 and this was on a Saturday night. Fantastic night - good service and friendly staff

My friends and I had a private karaoke booth. It was so much fun! The bar itself is quite cool. Good people inside if you know what i mean. And the drink prices were good :)

Cool place half price before 10pm. 4 pints + 2 vodka coke = £15

Seemed like all the music was very much the same on both floors which is a shame. And also its advertised there is a karaoke room but there was no karaoke. Prices for drinks were a bit steap also. .. On a positive the security was very good and friendly.

Positives Great drinks and good prices. Happy friendly staff. Negatives The First thing as we walked in was an awful smell of urine ! It was really strong. Used toilets and it smelt disgusting , like the sanitary bins hadn't been emptied in weeks. I complained to a duty manager . We were taken to our booth and paid for an hour and had about 50 mins by the time we entered the room. Won't be rushing back. Such a shame. What happened to this place ?

Bastante un club en bruto con buena música y varias cabinas de karaoke que fueron muy divertidas y reservamos el horario de dos horas, que fue muy bien utilizado e hizo la noche. ¡Apenas entramos en todo para cuando la sesión terminó, pero aprovechamos al máximo dos horas cantando y bailando! ! Después de eso, íbamos a dejar el club, ¡pero terminamos quedándonos bailando con los otros huéspedes que tenían casi la misma edad que mi hijo de 18 años! !

Went for a hen do last night (13.04.19). Pre booked group of 20. Turned up and found the group were split up. Pillar in the middle of the table. So we had to rearrange and try and squeeze a group into a small place.

Worst service ever experienced - clearly males aren’t as appealing as fake chested women so if you’re after a drink at any point in the night, make sure you get one of the plastics, of which there are many, to order it for you!

Great Kareroke booths loved the venue.

Went pre 6 Nations match great atmosphere lits of big screens. Pricy but to be expected in Cardiff dueing 6 Nations.

Had an amazing time today with Steffers hen party and making cocktails. Our host Sam the bar tender was a superb host and made such an effort to keep us all entertained. Back tonight for a sneak and karaoke and dancing.

What a disaster! Arrived around 11:15 and forced to queue for over half an hour as they were letting ‘VIP’ guests in. However, it was clear that these weren’t VIP, just drunk teenagers sneaking in. Aggressive bouncers, expensive drinks and no atmosphere. Will NOT be returning

Rude barman . Served doubles without asking if we wanted them, when we pointed out only singles were ordered threw them down the sink and stormed off in a huff.

£5 to get in which is standard for most places on a Saturday night....music was ok. The place was packed but full of very young people that perhaps need their id checked before entering. The floor was wet and very sticky with a bad smell to accompany that. Only came here as some friends suggest it...think I maybe socialising with the wrong people 😂😂🤭

Me and my mother booked a meal for New Years Eve for £50 each and it was disastrous. When we arrived we were told that half of the stuff were out of stock on the menu so we didn't have much variation. Apparently we were suppose to pre book our options that day but that didn't say that on the website we booked it from. For starters we had salmon with bread ... There was butter on the bread but by the time it arrived to us, the bread became soggy and grim. The salmon was okay though. My mother's main was lovely but my main was overseasoned by pepper and a couple of the potatoes were undercooked. Shame, because the beef was cooked to perfection but I just got a mouthful of pepper everytime I had a bite. My dessert was lovely, I had a chocolate brownie that tasted amazing but my mum wasn't so lucky. She ordered an Eton mess but all she received was some fruit mixed in with whipped cream. Last but not least was the "macaroons" ... The chef must have really disliked us by then because of our previous comments because he took ONE macaroon and split it in half. When it arrived, I had one half on my plate and my mum had the other. I was really disappointed with the quality of the food and the service that followed, which is a shame because the place itself looks stunning.

A good vibe in this place. A smarter type of clientele. Nice lighting and seating. Drinks were pretty quickly served. Mid range prices. Would recommend.

Having book for our office party we arrived and there was a smell of vomit, not great start but it’s a club so...at the bar waiting patiently for 40 mins and started to get a bit peeved...by the time I had been waiting 50 mins I was bemused when the bar tender left and therefore asked what happened to him to be told they are no longer service by here! Ok, fair enough, but explaining I had waited 50 minutes meant nothing to them, they said I should go upstairs if I want to be served quicker. Reluctant to leave after such a long wait, but really wanting to get served as the rest of my party were now sat waiting. (They tried a different part of he bar and had similar issue so when one person got served he ordered all the drinks in one go.) I wait a little upstairs to then realise they don’t do hardly any drinks there, so nothing I wanted! Back down I go to wait again, this time I politely asked to speak with the manager as I thought they would care...NOPE ...I was laughed at and given no apology. I was by now fuming and wanted to leave, but I had paid for a meal and booth so felt obliged to stay. Our meal was rubbish and disorderly and the wait between courses a joke. On one occasion we were given a meal and then it was taken to another table after it had been touched, as they gave it to the wrong table. They insisted I had a beef dinner even though that was not what I ordered and paid in advance for!! Absolute joke...loads of staff present and walking around doing nothing?! Despite the lack of customer care we enjoyed the both...buzzed for service, but by the time they came out 1.5 hours was up. I will never rerun out of principle.

I went to Tiger Tiger with a group from work on a Xmas outing. We had a meal booked in one of their ‘rooms’. I know I probably shouldn’t expect too much when going on this type of day, but I must admit I did expect it to be better than it was. To start with the food was average. The goats cheese salad was so small it was a joke. The turkey in the main course was tough and I nearly lost a filling trying to bite through the pastry on the tart served for dessert, or at least I think it was a tart. I think I made quite a few noises, trying to eat it, but they were ‘thankfully’, drowned out, by the loud music, which also helped to reduce any ambience that we attempted to foster.

First visit to Tiger Tiger Initially great time making and drinking cocktails!Recommend. Food very average and service was poor despite the place being relatively empty! Highlight was the Karaoke 🎤 All in all a good Xmas bash

Came on Friday (29 people) for works xmas party. We booked for 8:30pm, however when we arrived our tables weren’t ready. Food was served which was absolutely hectic, waiter huffing and puffing (I had sent them a list of everyone’s order with their name) instead the waiter just went around shouting what he had on the plate waiting for someone to answer which was hard to hear through the noise of the music and chatting. As I arranged the evening he kept coming back to me and asking who had ordered what. I informed him that HE had the list that I’d sent. Still huffing and puffing - making more work for himself instead of reading the list. The last few plates of food came out and he put them in front of people who hadn’t ordered that particular dish. His response was ‘well someone else must have had yours and that’s all that’s left to come out so you’ll have to have it’. Great!

Went there last night for works Christmas do 28 of us music was good drinks price was expensive and after waiting and asking many times when the buffet was coming what a joke there was never 28 of anything we were lucky if there was 12 of anything if anybody is having there do there make sure u have food before u go.

Went in a party of six on Saturday, table booked for 1.30, after 50 minutes complained and was told no one in the kitchen, which would explain why no food was coming out. They took 50% off the bill at this point. Waited another 40 minutes and the mains came out, it took another 10 minutes for the starters! The food was awful, the fish & chips a disgrace, undercooked chips and the fish was Findus Fish! We sent them back as grey and horrible and they were taken off the bill. Nachos was a joke, corn chips with a little cheese, bad. Felt sorry for the waiter as clearly the kitchen as in melt down. Funny thing was it seemed very quiet.

Family over from Ireland. Easy to book online. Easy payment on line. Great reserved seating. Very busy day but lots of bar staff so not long waiting. Great day. Great place. Will be returning.

Person at the door said they did not have our booking and said they did not like working with Opentable. Took more than an hour and a half for our burgers to arrive.

Sadly the booking was not honoured as they left a message to say that they could accommodate us after all! I phoned several times to try and sort this out but no one got back to me to confirm. As they cancelled late we were unable to find another restaurant who could accommodate us so we had to cancel our plans.

We were turned away on arrival as they were fully booked! Not happy when we’d walked a long way to get there.

WOW! As bad as it gets, party of six of us and the main comments provided by the group. Disgusting, awful, shameful, will never eat here again, lets just leave, I've had enough of waiting. So we arrived at 1.30pm and order taken in the first ten minutes. After 50 minutes of waiting and no starter we complained, told very few people in the kitchen which would explain no food coming out. They said we could have 50% off the bill which we accepted. Another 40 minutes went by and we got some of our main courses, then 10 minutes later the starters. The fish & Chips advertised was had by two of the group, it was Findus Fish, all grey and horrible (sent it back and taken off the bill), the Nachos was just some corn chips with a little bit of cheese on top, awful. It was so bad and I will never step foot in a Tiger Tiger again.

In my opinion this venue is not good value for money. Food is very poor. Staff not that helpful. If I was in Cardiff again this place would not be on my list of places to go

Esto fue reservado para una despedida de soltera y yo no sabía qué esperar. Habíamos reservado una mesa en el restaurante para la comida y así nos sorprendió un poco cuando nos llevaron a una mesa en el extremo del bar, cuando explicamos que habíamos reservado y esperaba una mesa de restaurante que acordaron cambiarnos, resulta que El 'restaurante' estaba a 3 metros del otro lado del bar Dingey y nos quedamos en el lugar. El buen menú estaba bien, un poco limitado para los vegetarianos, pedí una pasta de champiñones que, aunque tenía un buen sabor, solo estaba asfixiada en salsa, lo que la hacía demasiado abrumadora. El grupo también pagó por el stand con champán, que nos dijeron que inicialmente podíamos tener en nuestra mesa y luego nos dijeron que nos mudáramos a otra área, ¡Dios sabe por qué!

Gracias a Owen, un encantador paciente que nos recibió a 9 de nosotros en un cóctel el sábado 12 a la 1 pm.

We pre booked in advance for a group of friends to attend after 9:30pm on a Saturday.

I have walked past it couple of times so I would try it; went on a Friday with work frens.... The food felt like it was microwaved something u can get at a local pub just priced higher!!

Abomination of a side salad, on the rainiest day in Cardiff, how do you make a tomato dry?! What products do you use to make the tables so sticky? How do make the beer so flat? Two separate urinals filled with chunder by 8pm? What an experience.

Booked for 14 people only had a table for 10 so half off the party were put on another table food order was taken than waiter came back on had 3 steaks left so we had to pick something else had to wait over a hour for our food when it came it was over cooked and some off our party order desserts but never got them but was still put on bill when we told them they took off the orders . Overall will never go again no draft beer upstairs so had to bottles which I didn’t like

We book a table for 14 for 7:30 so far so good - were rammed onto a table that sits 10 - the waiter comes to take our orders at 7:45 - 5 people in our party want steak - he comes back at 8:00 to tell us that they only have 3 steaks left I asked what time the kitchen closes he said 10:00 so to run out of steak 2 hrs before they shut the kitchen is not good management- anyway we then order different food- this then arrives at 9:15 -2 people had fish n chips the fish was fried and looked like it had been in the fryer for 1 hr it was awful - my meal was southern fried chicken with cheese tomato onions - no cheese no onions - and the chips were cooked with the fish so all you could taste was fish - 2 steaks were that burnt you couldn’t cut them they were solid - they bring the bill out plonk it on the table about 9:45 on the bill is 2 Apple pies that we never received trying to get somebody’s attention takes us to 10:00 they take the apple pie off the bill - now onto the drinks 3 vodka n coke were 7 quid as they were half price until 10pm at 9:30 I go to the bar and get 2 vodka n coke £8.40 ? When I ask why it’s cheaper to buy 3 I’m just ignored over all we left hungry and the whole place could do with a good clean

I dont normally write reviews but I just had to after the best night!! 18 of us went to Tiger Tiger for a hen party. First off after arriving to prosecco waiting for us we had a cocktail making class in the Hawaiian Bar. I loved it and so did all my girls! Everyone said it was the best start to the night! We each made two cocktails with the help of the bar staff! Half way through we were served some buffet style food - perfect timing and plenty to go around, the chicken wings were to die for! When we had finished and after the Limbo and a few other 'Party Games' we were shown down to Lucky Voice where we were to do Karaoke! We were introduced to another member of Bar staff and shown how to work the equipment, We had pre-ordered few jugs of cocktails and Prosecco and they were waiting for us in the booth. Karaoke - What a laugh! None of us were the best singers but that made our time in there even more entertaining, we had a buzzer that was used frequently to order more drinks, the service was great! After our time in Lucky Voice was over we were shown back upstairs where there was a reserved area with more prosecco waiting for us! Could not fault anything about our night execpt maybe our singing and making everyone join in our conga!
