KFC in Cardiff

Terrible always something wrong with your order either it be they mess it up, it’s uncooked and staff lack hospitality all seem so dull and makes me want to leave just because of that.

Service good and good food. Parking is a pain for collection. Halal.

KFC is what it is for its Crispiest Fried Chicken, yet I am disappointed at KFCs here in Cardiff. All friee chicken they have is breaded, soft and mushy. The staff was polite and fast, the ambiance was alright. The toilet was also in a fair condition, however, the food: not of international standards.

Advise to the area manager : Please your staff especially in front they are very rude when I was handing my food they took very long and when I complained they just swear at me and they said don’t come here again . Even I saw the manager whom I was trying to complain but he was having kid and he even did stoped for me sorry to say but they all are very rude I will never come there. Thanks

It's a septic fast food shop. What is there positive to say? The kids want to eat this rubbish, so I let them a couple of times a year. They wanted to charge ne for a bag when we were eating in the shop.

Unreal. Foods hot, ordered at the machine and was ready by the time I'd got near the counter. Friendly, plenty of seats available on a Friday evening. KFC doing it right

The food is spicy and tastes great, but there are always no spoons or forks, and when you ask the assistants, they say we don't have them 🙄🫣 and the bathrooms do not lock and there is no paper in them, meaning the services are completely nothing. We hope to solve this problem because we are regular customers of this place.

Restaurant cleanses is very poor!

The rice box very filling, a little tricky to eat as they did not have any forks, I had to ask for more sauce in the zinger burger as they barely put any.

Chips were over cooked and no salt added and chicken were oily too.

No complaints re food or service but in a place where food is eaten with fingers no hand sanitizer was available. I usually carry some but didn't this time. Pre pandemic at least the individual freshener towels were given but not even those now which to me is very surprising

Halal chicken is served here. The certificate is hanging on the wall at the counter. Taste is undoubtedly the best. Services though need improvement as pointed out in some reviews.

My hot spicy chicken burger was really lovely

I have been a very regular customer to KFC for many a years for last several years. I have been visiting this specific KFC for last few months as I can only eat Halal KFC and this is the only Halal KFC in Cardiff. I live in Penarth Town and commute back all the way to Penarth after buying my food items from this KFC. Almost on my every visit, I felt majority of staff not polite, not attentive, abrupt, frustrated and not focus towards customer service and value. I did mention few issues regarding that on the survey opportunities after the purchases. During last few weeks, i started finding items missing in our bag once I reach back home. This happened on 03 occasions. First time, we found the whole order of KFC Zinger Rice was missing. I rang back KFC Cardiff Queen Street and spoke to team leader Jayesh. He admitted that staff did not put zinger rice in the bag, apologised and offered extra food items on my next visit. After couple of weeks, same thing happened and this time two lots of chips were missing. I repeated same exercise and spoke to Team Leader Manish (he is the rudest, abrupt and threatening amongst all of the management). He also accepted the fault and again offered extra items on my next visit. On both occasions, I asked them please be careful with our items and don’t repeat not putting all the items. They agreed but all in vain. I am Muslim by faith and performing the month of Ramadan (Fasting) started from 13/04/2021. To my bad luck, I decided to buy KFC for my family of five on the First Fast as dinner. I placed my order on 13/04/2021 (Tuesday) at 15:55 bearing Order No. 3088 and Receipt Code: 105810413213088 for multiple food items. Like previously, I asked them again at counter to server and other staff to please make sure all items are put in the bag as it’s not good to keep finding my items missing as that already happened twice. As usual like last two occasions they kept ensuring me that they would not miss items. I reached back home in Penarth at 17:00 and kept my sealed bags in kitchen till the time of breaking the fast which was just after 20:00. At that time when I opened the bags I once again found 04 chicken wings missing again. This was the third time happening like that. Naturally, as consumer that annoyed and frustrated me. I again picked up the phone and spoke to Team Leader Carl. Carl had a rude argument with me saying he was polite with me but not accepting that 4 chicken wings were missing. I told him several times that I was not lying and stop indirectly accusing me as a liar. He then said hold on a line so that he could check with serving staff whether they put my 4 wings or not? He checked and said that staff did put wings meaning I was lying and I denied it. Eventually, he accepted the negligence and offered me 04 wings and 02 large sides free of charge on my next visit. He said on my next visit bring my order receipt mentioning his name Carl and Reference No. P4012981 to the staff to claim my compensation. At any point of all these disputes they never mentioned I was rude to them or I am not allowed to come to the restaurant permanently rather on all 03 Occasions they accepted the fault, apologised and offered the compensation. On all occasions I legitimately exercised my consumer and human rights by keep asking them to please make sure not to miss any items next time. Every time they kept ensuring me the same and then kept missing items in following orders. On Thursday 22/04/2021, I went back to the restaurant. I spoke to server at counter and explained what’s been happening with my items during last few weeks and on last occasion and outcome of my last conversation with Carl. He referred me to Team Leader Manish who was abrupt, rude and threatening to me at the later stage. Initially he listened and agreed to give me my freebies. He wrote Carl’ s Reference No. in KFC internal book and said let him pack those first and then i could place my next order. He did the same and I turned myself to the server at order till. All of a sudden the server became rude in tone towards me. I told him that there was no need to speak to me in that tone. I am a customer who exercised his consumer rights and human rights to get my correct items against value paid and if he remained rude to me then I would do the same to him as I did not deserve that tone and attitude. He took my order then by just putting his head down very rudely whereas I was expecting an apology. At end of my order I told him and Manish that I would check my order before sealing it to ensure all was intact. They agreed. Same server brought my bag at collection counter wide open and slid the bag rudely to me saying,”Mate you can check your items as long as you want as this is the last time we serve you ever in this restaurant”. I was shocked and devastated and asked him a reason why? He very rudely said speak to Manish. I said okey call him. Manish came with an abrupt and rude attitude. He said he won’t give me any reason of banning me neither he wanted to provide any reason either. When I insisted, he said I was rude. I said I was never rude. He said not now but on previous occasion. I said no I was not and if I were why didn’t they mention that on previous occasion or ban me? He did not have any answers. I asked him show me CCTV footage that I was rude. He said no again and said management don’t have time to see CCTV footages and that’s management decision to ban me. I said let me speak to management. He said he was a management. I said give me a decision in writing with reason. He refused again and said nothing in writing would be provided. I asked him to give me details for KFC complaint procedures. He refused again and very rudely said Google it myself. I said I won’t leave the restaurant till I know the reason or he passed me the KFC complaint procedure details. At that stage he shouted on me and threatened me that he would call police on me if I did not leave. This happened at 16:10. He was rude, humiliating, abrupt and threatening towards me. I said no problem go on call the police and I waited so that I can explain in an amicable and gentleman manner to police about their unjustified, in different, rude and abrupt decision and behaviour towards me. During all that time, all staff member treated me Indifferent as compared to other customers and even no body bothered to seal my food bag. I took few photographs at that point of time. I stayed till 16:30 in the restaurant assuming this Manish rang police but no body turned up. I left the restaurant then and on my way back home I rang 101 and spoke to Police Officer. She advised me to speak to trading standards as there could be a possibility that the staff kept hiding items from my order for their own gains and also by speaking to Trading Standards I may come to know that whether this issue only happening to me or it’s an ongoing problem with other customers and trading standard already working on that or not? I spoke to Trading Standard lady and she advised me to speak to Cardiff Trading Standards and Citizen Advice Buearue that I would do next. I already raised my concerns with Toyah working at KFC UK Corporate Office in complaints on Friday 23/04/21. She gave me her name as reference and confirmed me that my complaint was forwarded to complaints department and somebody should get in touch with me on Monday 26/04/21 onwards. I also initiated my concern against KFC unjustified banning and behaviour with CLA case handler based on discrimination based on showing Indifferent attitude and treatment with my strong feeling based on personal hatred and my race.

Sent the order with items missing,when I rang them the manager told me he had checked the full order and the delivery person must have stolen the food even though the seal from kfc was still in tact.Rude on the phone and not helpful refused to fulfill my order and put the phone down on me. I will be reporting this to kfc customer service and also reporting this as theft as the branch charged me for something I didn't receive. Please avoid worse place ever.

He intentado realizar un pedido en la sucursal de KFC de Queen Street durante los últimos 3 días sin éxito.El pedido debe realizarse con la empresa de entrega afiliada.Así que hago el pedido y luego de enviar los detalles de mi tarjeta de crédito realizo el pago, obtengo mi número de pedido y luego, 10 minutos después, cuando miro el seguimiento de mi pedido, el estado muestra que el pedido ha fallado.Exactamente lo mismo sucedió 3 días seguidos, lo que me dejó frustrado y hambriento, ya que he estado ayunando todo el día y esperando con ansias el pedido.Si no pueden procesar el pedido, no deberían tomar el pedido solo para cancelarlo 10 o 15 minutos después.KFC necesita ser más profesional si quiere mantener una buena reputación.

Tengo que ser sincero, este es uno de los mejores restaurantes de KFC que he visitado. Todo el personal era encantador y la comida era genial. Porciones de gran tamaño que estaban muy calientes. La salsa tenía un grosor perfecto y el espesamiento tenía una textura crujiente perfecta. Gracias.

Hola,Llegué a KFC ayer y quiero hablar sobre un individuo en particular llamado "WAYNE", que hizo que mi experiencia fuera increíble, hizo todo lo posible por cumplir su deber como corredor de piso cuando mi pedido no era del todo correcto y me hice a mí y a mis empleados para tener la experiencia más excepcional y memorable durante nuestro almuerzo y luego después.Este hombre merece un aumento de sueldo y también una promoción porque sabe cómo administrar a los clientes de una manera que lo haga sentir bienvenido e individualmente especial.No soy de los que escriben críticas, pero Wayne merece todo lo bueno que se le presente.Bien hecho y gracias de nuevo!

Usamos Deliveroo bastante y las últimas 3 veces que hemos ordenado desde aquí se han perdido artículos. ¡Ridículo! El pedido que recibimos hoy no tenía los pedidos secundarios y las piezas de pollo de todas las comidas de caja. ¡No entiendo la dificultad de leer un boleto!

Pedí una comida justa, la comida estaba retrasada una hora, estaba fría y faltaban artículos cuando fui al día siguiente, el gerente fue grosero y no me disculpó ni reemplazó la orden pobre ni siquiera una bebida de cortesía. Este lugar es una broma y nunca volveré! ¡Evítalo a toda costa! !

Good location at the top of Queen Street work good links to car parks, buses and trains.Long queues with no systematic way of queuing with many jumping in front.Bit of a wait for chips so not as fast for fast food. Would have thought at lunch time this would be no issue.Chicken skins hanging off with not a lot of care taken.Toilet out of order downstairs with no lift.Would not recommend.

Pedí un deliveroo esta noche. Estamos en Cardiff para el rugby y nos hospedamos en el Premier Inn. Cuando recibimos el pedido, nos dimos cuenta de que faltaban algunos artículos. Bajé al kfc para avisarles que estaba muy cerca. Ellos fueron increíbles. Hicieron que el gerente viniera a verme y me dio los artículos que faltaban, además de una bebida gratis, algunos acompañamientos, galletas y muffins.Gran servicio al cliente?

Decidí parar y comer algo en el otro extremo de la ciudad para variar. Pedí la comida y fui a buscar una mesa. La única mesa era una al lado de la ventana. Tuve que conseguir servilletas extra para poner mi comida. Los pisos y las mesas estaban sucios y no había rastro de que alguien limpiara las mesas o los pisos. No fue una experiencia agradable y nos dejó la sensación de que habíamos desperdiciado nuestro dinero. No volveré a visitar KFC en el futuro.

I stopped here for a boneless banquet the food was freshly made but still seemed old just as if the oil hadn't been changed in a while the table were dirty and unappealing with bins full to the point of overflowing

Only go here if KFC is a must for you. The food isn't that great. People working there are not fluent in English. They are not very patient and sometimes can be rude. Wouldn't recommend going unless you really want to.

Además y tengo que decir que había un muchacho de unos 12 o 13 años en un kfc lleno a la hora del almuerzo con los que no podían haber sido familia o tal vez eran ellos quienes simplemente se sacaban frenillos de la boca y un muchacho mayor que se sentaba con él ayudó a haber podido ir al baño o arreglarlo en casa, ya tenía edad suficiente. dejar de comer mi comida fría, hay un momento y un lugar para todo, no delante de los clientes a los que les gusta comer su comida, ya sea frío.

Staff were rude, orders were fast but got both orders wrong but good seating areas and clean place. Queue wasnt in an orderly fashion.

If you want something quick and cheap then this is the place to go to. Its fine for those and the staff are friendly and welcoming but its not somewhere you would go to for a special occasion.

Yo trabajo para Deliveroo, para aquellos que no saben lo que es, básicamente para la comida. Super Yo uso mi smartphone para conseguir pedidos y uso mi bicicleta para recogerlos. Obviamente, la velocidad es importante, y recogiendo las entregas rápidamente así que puedes conseguir al cliente es crucial. De las muchas veces que he estado allí, siempre hay alguien preguntando por no hacer nada. Tuve que esperar 5 minutos para ver por alguien en la caja, y el restaurante estaba vacío. Me paraba y veía personal pululando alrededor haciendo nada hasta que supongo era el gerente de turno nos dimos cuenta de por qué estaba ahí parados y nudged alguien. Alguien llegó y preguntó por el número de orden, de la que me dieron, y luego tomó otro 3 minutos para hacer bolsa todo. Yo podría haber caminado, recogió la comida y a la izquierda, pero no. Si el restaurante estaba lleno, podía entender, sin embargo, no puedo ver cómo usted necesita casi 10 personas en turno con nadie.

Went into this eatery in Cardiff, A typical busy KFC, who go out of their way to help you. Good Service really, was very busy, as they always are Need more staff to keep the tables clear & clean, my only crticism.

This KFC is not as bad as people have made out. Yes the actual building is terrible and does need a refurbishment and I don't even think the lift matches any safety standards the staff seem friendly and informative and it tastes like a normal KFC so my advice would be to modernize and then it should get a average rating

This is quite a large and busy KFC. However, that does not excuse slow, apathetic, and pretty unfriendly service. Add to this rather cold chips and you have a poor KFC.

I use to be a regular customer here and enjoy the service based on food and staff I went in today they have taken on new staff most of them are drips and so moody. Don't think I will go anymore!!

Visited for a quick lunch on a Friday. The shops wasn't particularly busy but the whole experience was disorganised and chaotic. They now have a bizarre queuing process tht seems to result in every man for himself - a bit like queuing for a ski lift in France. In fairness the food was hot and tasty but the service was appalling. I was served with a series of grunts and asking for ketchup was like asking the girl if I could have her kidney.

U go in this dirty place and come out with cold food and feel so depressed it like if no one wants to be there. They haven't got a clue wat they r doing and they r so rude I will never return to this he'll hole x

Popped in as kids were hungry. Got the order wrong twice, then wrap and chips were cold and I had half a cup of coffee. Not overally impressed.

Ordered a family bucket, we live around the corner the food was cold, the fries were re-dipped and skin missing off some of the chicken. I emailed the Head Office and they sent me an automatic we are sorry and that was it, this made me feel like they do not care, to top it all I went back a few days later as when the food is done properly it is nice, I ordered a smaller bucket and they got that wrong again, fries poor, missing chicken and just poor quality.Will I go back, I will be using Miss Millies in future never had an issue there.

Staying at a local hotel wanted something quick and simple for an evening meal. As this KFC was very close it seemed an ideal choice - big mistake. Although the hotel was only a two/three minute walk. When we got back our fries were cold and rubbery and several of the pieces of chicken were so overcooked they would have broken our teeth if we had tried to eat them

The prices here are a bit more expensive then in Frankfurt and Paris. The chicken tasted good and was quite a big quantity, but looked more unhealthy then I remembered. As well the service was confused.
