Bottomless brunch. When asked to split the tables it wasn't a problem. Not too busy for a sat night so was perfect. No waiting around for top ups . Shannon is a brilliant part of the team. We were visiting - so didn't want to be disappointed. Thanks

Lovely night out at TGI's. The whole experience was lovely. We were seated fairly quickly, then were looked after by Kacey. Kacey was so attentive, pleasant, kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, the service was always with a smile. Was an above and beyond experience. Kacey is an asset to the team, working to hard. Credit where credits due. Very pleased

For the first time, when I have been years a client in this chain, my food was awful. I called the manager politely and told him. Except for the irony and snappy behaviour he brought us immediately the bill (£40+) to get up and leave. It is sad, this has never happened to me. Conclusions are yours to make.

Terrible food, especially the salad was horrible; vommitted the salad. Nothing like what it was!! We complained about the food, paid the full bill and not a word of sorry and they were angry as well - the only thing the manager did not do was shout at us!! Not recommended - avoid

I visited TGI St. David’s on the 4th of January at 3pm and was thoroughly appalled by the service I received. While I am not typically inclined to complain, this experience left me deeply disappointed. It is no surprise to me why all other TGI locations in Wales have closed down. Between the high prices, poor management, and unprofessional staff, the experience was truly horrendous. We had booked the bottomless brunch, which was advertised as lasting two hours. However, within the first hour, we only received two or three drinks. Despite repeatedly asking our waiter about the delay, we were told that the bar was not producing drinks quickly enough, which completely undermined the concept of “bottomless.” We were sat with empty glasses throughout. By the time an hour and a half had passed, we were frustrated with the lack of drinks and realised that we would have been better off opting for the 2-for-1 cocktail menu instead of the bottomless brunch. Throughout our visit, the staff and managers stood around the bar using their phones, showing little interest in providing good service. People around us were complaining of cold food, and it’s to no surprise why. When we requested an extension of our time or even just an additional round of drinks, given the poor service, the manager on duty responded with a firm and patronising “no.” He was unprofessional, rude, and dismissive, stating that we should have read the online terms and conditions, which apparently stipulated that bottomless brunch lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes, with the remaining 15 minutes designated as “drink-up” time. It is unreasonable to expect customers to search for small print online when dining in a restaurant. The manager further escalated the situation by accusing us of lying about only receiving two drinks within the hour. He claimed he would check the tickets to confirm this but never returned with the results. Instead, he joined his staff at the bar, gossiping and openly staring at us in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. This behavior was highly inappropriate, and when my friend confronted them, asking why they were staring, their response was hostile. The manager then stormed over and shouted at my friend, claiming they should not address “his staff” in such a tone, despite the clear disrespect we were experiencing. Shockingly, he threatened to call security to remove us from “his building.” When security arrived, they were far more professional and advised us to file a complaint with head office. They also suggested asking for the manager’s name, but unsurprisingly, he refused to provide it, likely because he was aware of his misconduct. This entire experience was utterly unacceptable, and I have never encountered such appalling treatment at any restaurant. Between the lack of service, unprofessional staff, and the dismissive behavior of the manager, this visit has left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly advise anyone against visiting this restaurant. As someone who has always enjoyed TGI Fridays, I can confidently say that I will never return to this particular location. Based on my experience, it is evident why other TGI restaurants in Wales have closed, and it seems inevitable that this one will follow suit. Frankly, such an outcome would be well deserved given the appalling way they treat their customers. The only positive outcome of this entire ordeal was that the staff were so preoccupied gossiping about us that they neglected to bill us before we were escorted out. When we asked security what to do about the bill as we didn’t want to leave the premises without paying, we were advised not to return to the restaurant to avoid further conflict and were told to simply leave it. While this resulted in us receiving our meal for free, it in no way compensates for the vile and unacceptable manner in which we were treated throughout our visit.

Came here this evening with my partner. Our server Demi was lovely - very attentive and helpful. The food was great and the cocktails wow! Will definitely be returning. Thanks guys

Around two years since my last visit and returning as was quite a fan of the location before. Bitterly dissapointed to see how far it has fallen, dirty glasses, cold food and prices that have risen extortionately in relation to their surrounding competition (how? Why?). This place is in dire need of a change in direction before it too goes bust.

What over priced rubbish. Cannot believe I wasted 80 odd quid eating here with so many better options available. I’m never letting my 8 year old decide where to eat again! Even with the kids eat free option it was a complete rip off. I’ll never eat at a TGI Fridays again. Find yourself a good pub and get better food for less.

I booked this restaurant for the 4 of us as it was for a birthday meal and I made this clear on the booking. We noticed that the restaurant wasn’t very busy when we sat at our table. The waitress took our order and my youngest daughter asked for no cheese with her burger and this was acknowledged by the waitress. We waited for a considerable amount of time for the food to arrive, we were surprised as it was quiet. My daughter’s burger arrived with cheese on it when it arrived with three out of four of the meals. The waiter who brought out the food was a different person. He just dumped it and went. I was waiting for the 4th meal to arrive for a long time. Not only was this very inconsiderate, there was no cutlery provided for any of the meals. The original waitress brought out the 4th meal and did not apologise for the inconvenience or for the lack of cutlery. My husband had a can of Dr Pepper which cost £4.30! The food was ok but nothing special considering the prices. I feel that the service we received was poor.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing bottomless brunch at TGI Fridays in Cardiff, and I must say that Emily was an exceptional waitress. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and ensured our table was set up perfectly. Throughout the brunch, she was attentive, friendly, and always quick to refill our drinks without us needing to ask. Emily’s vibrant personality added to the fun, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. She genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and her excellent service made our visit memorable. Highly recommend asking for her if you're planning to visit!

Awful experience, im not one for giving bad reviews but I took my daughter for a meal, about 4 people sitting down and the staff was too busy messing about to take our drinks order. There was a burger sat on the kitchen window when we arrived and it was given to me 35 mins later after I ordered my food. Cost me a fortune but was not worth it at all

First and last visist to TGI Friday's... I went in yesterday afternoon 1:30 on the 27th December to have lunch before train journey home. I advised waitress we have a train to catch and we're In a little but of a rush trains at 2:50. 30 minutes later after having asked waitress how long food would be-- she agreed to go check and came back and walked past my table several times ignoring me. I then got up as a last-ditch attempt to see if I either waited for food (my 10 year old was very hungry).or walked out. I was told that she could tell me how long food was going to be with a complete attitude. I was shocked. I then spoke to a young make waiter who quickly took over and brought food 2 mins after. This was at 215pm The food was absolutely disgusting in taste and it was cold. The only good thing was that I was not charged for the meal in the end after I complained the food was aweful, but considering I had about 2 mouthfuls that's should be a done deal. This experience has actually put me off going out for food again and I am a proper foody- I should have known when this was the place with barely any cues to get outside like the rest of the establishments. Honestly so disappointed on the customer care also my daughter did not have a good example set to her by this one waitress I was appauled. Even my 10.year old daughter said why is she so rude and ignoring you. I will leave out waitresses name I hate to name in case of come backs on here. It was a very busy service but they should be prepared and have enough staff and good customer care. Ticket circled in pen number 95. Ordered hotdogs fries and salad for daughter (salad was limp and looked like it had been sitting under heat lamp). Inedible. Burger was freezing cold. Fries tasted very strongly of garlic- like they had spilled the garlic power in error. Top tip would be 1)To always advise customers of a 30-45 minute wait for food- especially if they have a train to catch and a very hungry child. 2) if customers are left waiting a while at least serve edible hot food.

I had a wonderful experience this afternoon. Emily, the waitress who served our table was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful. One of our party had a severe nut allergy and Emily was so patient and was able to put them at ease.

TGIF had a great XMAS menu - an appetiser and main choices. The Santa Smashed Burger was filling and the Fridays Chicken Strips were delicious. Special shout out to Emily who was an amazing host.

Had a lovely time here. I had their Fridays™ Sesame Chicken Strips and Cajun Chicken Pasta which was absolute banger and will definitely recommend. Emily was an amazing host and made sure my family and I were well attended to.

Went for family treat with my grandchildren and great grandchildren, booked in advance. Waited nearly an hour for food which was very unimpressive, small portions and cold, exorbitant prices for mediocre burgers,seven chips on a child’s meal costing all most £8! Went to use the stripes discount but app would not load , all other apps on phone unaffected, was told without the code we could not have discount so bill was £208 !! Floors were dirty and sticky, table also needed cleaning and the music was so loud even the baby cried. I did email manager but have yet to receive a reply apart from the generic statement thanking me for my feedback and a member of the team would get back to me. I would never use this place again and do not recommend it.

Not a bad meal, calamari was a bit overcooked albeit tasty, macaroni cheese was a bit dry, but overall we enjoyed our pre gig visit. Table staff were very busy, but efficient, and the lady who delivered the bill was lovely and friendly.

The cost for this food was nothing short of criminal. Wetherspoons standard at crazy prices. Not sure I've ever been so disappointed. No wonder they are going bust!!!!!

Was not worth the money you don’t get much and my burger was burnt so they was all I could taste came with a slice of pickle skin inside which was like chewing on plastic would no recommendation

Stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon before Christmas. Our server Jacob was really attentive, friendly and quick to offer us drinks upon arrival. Despite the restaurant being very busy, Jacob did well in tending to us and all surrounding tables and did it all with a smile. We will be back!

Well we waited T the bar for our table for 20 mins and not served !! Showed to our table upstairs and then waited and waited for our starters ! They then brought out mains and not our starters so sent the mains back and waited and waited for the starters. After an hour I went to speak to Kiera who was front of house who got our starters to us, and then she brought our mains up once we finished our starters which was great as we were starving after our long wait !! Asked to speak to a manager who never arrived which was a shame, felt like they were hiding behind Kiera and the lovely young lady who was also looking after us, Talia who was very attentive. Shame really as usually the food is lovely and if it was not for Kiera and Talia I feel we would still waiting for our food and drinks now !!!!

This place is totally run down and is in dire need of investment. We were seated after a rather abrupt reception by the barman. The table was worn out round the edges. It was sticky as were the menus we were handed. There were bits of red napkin that had obviously been pushed round the table with a cloth then stuck to the rim of the table. There was ketchup spayed up the glass panel concealing the kitchen. There were bits of dropped food, napkins etc on the floor beneath seemingly cleaned unoccupied tables. As for the collection of detritus swept to the corners of the stairs and the dried up fries meticulously placed in a row on the outside lip of the staircase. Don’t get me started on the toilets!!! The door was sticky and a thorough inspection of your shoes was required on the way out to ensure you weren’t leaving with a trail of toilet paper. Not wanting to make a fuss I held out until my friend was told there were no milk alternatives for a coffee she ordered and in fact the coffee machine was broken. Time to leave. Please don’t start you reply “sorry ……..on this occasion!” This is a long term management issue. It’s no surprise the Staff appear discontented .

Quite disappointed to see TGIs in Cardiff has gone downhill. My friends and I experienced extremely dirty toilets, almost like they haven’t cleaned them in days with the massive build up in limescale and muck. The tables were sticky and the menus were dirty also. The food was good, no complaints other than maybe a tad bland. We had ordered drinks for water to be forgotten multiple times. Asked different members of staff on different occasions for another glass of water which fell on deaf ears. Very sad to see the standards drop. Hopefully it was just us who didn’t have a good impression!

Lovely meal had here on Monday. Jack Daniels glazed chicken was delicious and a great sized portion, expected for the price paid. Service was disappointing, slow, not enough staff working to cater for all customers.

My wife and I visited here on a Tuesday evening before going to a concert. It was not busy. We both agreed that there wasn't much choice on the menu, which had seen better days. I had the burger / chips, which needed more time to rest based on the juices on the plate. My wife had chicken goujons / chips. Both were around £19 each, not good value in my opinion but it seems to be the price norm nowadays. Probably won't visit again, we were surprised it was still open after all the financial difficulties this chain has been going through.

I asked for the nachos and I thought they were going to be nice and mild, but they turned out to be very spicy to the point where I had to ask for milk and there was barely any sour cream and even then our server took nearly 10 minutes to bring the milk. When I got my hotdogs no sauce was offered and it took her almost 20 minutes to deliver 2 drinks to me and my sister. The poor girl who delivered our food and drink was rushed off her feet. They need more staff so they aren't rushed , our server was friendly and lovely not to discriminate against her just the restaurant itself.

Visited last night for my husband's birthday. Never again! after being shown to our table and waiting nearly 15 minutes I got a nearby waitress's attention to ask if we could order some drinks. The meals were delivered to our table but the female waitress didn't bother asking if we wanted any sauces etc. Again I had to ask for sauce and another drink for my husband. He had to wait 15 minutes for this and that was only after telling the waitress that we were still waiting for it. Couldn't be arsed attitude was how it was for the whole time we were there. The waitress came back to our table to take two of our plates whilst the other three of us were still eating! I couldn't believe it! Good staff would know you should wait until everyone has finished eating before taking the plates away! After we confirmed we didn't want any desserts she assumed we wanted the bill even though we still had drinks Infront of us. It seemed she couldn't wait to get rid of us..... We couldn't wait to get out of there! Terrible service.... Staff need to be re trained properly to ensure it is a pleasure experience for the customers. A smile wouldn't have gone a miss! As well as some manners. £130 spent at this place .... Never to be repeated.

Sesame chicken was beautiful and the chocolate dessert was amazing, Jacob the servicer was attentive and friendly and the buns were pretty good. Would recommend 100% will be back.

the food was lovely, bit expensive for 2 people. paid £25 for a burger.. asked for bbq sauce and it took 20 mins for the lady to come back and double check if we still wanted the bbq and by then half our food was gone. and when we wanted to pay it took 30 mins for the hostess on the top floor to find our server .i normally love tgi but it has gone down hill.

TGI Fridays in St David’s is a popular spot for a meal but the food lacks any quality to justify the price. Dishes are not presented in a nice way and lacks tastes sometimes.
