TGI Friday in Cardiff

Booked for bottomless brunch, 6 of us at the table. Ordered our drinks pretty fast but after half hour still no drinks or food received, for something that is 2 hours long and advertised to drink as much as you can it's clearly not drink as much as you can. Very very poor service, manager didn't want to hear the complaint and left the server to deal with It. For £39.95 it's not worth it at all. Don't recommend at all! We asked the server after 15mins how much longer drinks would be due to tables who ordered after us recieving theirs to be told they are on a 2 for 1 offer, what offer your on shouldn't matter! Service should be at a good pace not at a standstill.

Very poor experience. The place is run down and dirty. Chairs ripped, tables sticky, glasses and cutlery dirty. Messed up drinks order, messed up the kids meals. Food cold. Staff indifferent and not attentive. Overpriced and underwhelming.

We ordered 2 portions of chicken fajitas that were gluten free. They came with corn tacos as the gluten free option which was a nice alternative to normal flour tortillas. Food was lovely will definitely have them again Service was great from Jacob, he was very polite and very helpful!

Absolutely awful! We should have walked out as soon as we arrived. The whole place is grubby and run down. The seats are ripped and worn, tables are worn and sticky, everywhere needs a good wash down and paint. Condiments on the table were dirty or empty, all had to be replaced. Cutlery was dirty. Food prices are extortionate, I can see why they don’t display them online! All food came out cold, all fries had to be sent back and took ages to be replaced. Burger looked absolutely nothing like the photo, dry with congealed cheese on top! Desserts for £10-14 unbelievable! Very poor presentation and small portion sizes for all meals, sides etc. Toilets we’re filthy and smelt awful like the drains were blocked, no soap in any of the dispensers. The whole place is very run down, over priced and we definitely won’t be visiting again!

Came here for my brother’s birthday. Food was really good and the service was attentive and fast from Harleigh W and the rest of the team was excellent. Cocktails were amaze. Defo recommend !!

Food was good for fast food sort of restaurant. Service was impeccable - Jacob went out of his way to ensure we were happy withe everything and keeping drinks flowing!

Fantastic service from Jacob, we had a large table with many different intolerances, allergies and fussy eaters . He dealt with it all very well and couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

Jacob was absolutely awesome. Hands down the best waiter. He managed 3 tables, over 17 people of varying ages and some VERY fussy orders. All done with a smile, and making us feel at ease.

Went with a friend, ordered 2 mocktails and a refill, her drinks arrived before mine did. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains which took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive when the restaurant was extremely quiet. Not satisfied with my visit

we told our server we had a kids eat free code, when bill came and we paid we realised the code hadn't been added so that was that. nothing can be done apparently. The service was slow, the server saw empty glasses but didn't refill them. we had to ask every time, however we rarely saw any staff so they weren't refilled. we paid extra for loaded fries and they were cold, the mac and cheese was cold. the food quality is just so poor, you have really gone downhill. please go back to your old standards of actually giving great service in a great atmosphere where the floor is clean and not littered with old colouring sheets from past Children's visits and mucky seats. do better and care about your service

went for food with one of my friends out side on the board it said 2 course meal for £13.99 we both had a 2 course meal and asked it was going to be £13.99 and they said youd have to download the app we downloaded the app and nothing happned only to get a free dessert which we both didnt want so we had no choice and paid £35 and my friends food was less but paid more and didnt wven get her change !!!!!!!

I like TGI Fridays but unfortunately won’t go back to this particular one, staff seemed to not know what they are doing, very slow service and the food wasn’t the best, not much to choose from, from the menu. Would not recommend.

Horrible. It took ages for the food to be served although it wasn't a busy day. Also the food was cold. We ordered a share portion of boneless hot wings, but we got the smaller portion, which we had to reorder and it took a lot of time to reprepare and serve. Also when we requested the bill the staff was chatting at the till and there was a delay of another 15 minutes to just bring the bill to us. Although the atmosphere was good, due to the horrible service I would not recommend TGI Friday to anyone. 😠👎👎

Went for the first time today with my husband and young daughter (who was very hungry might I add). Asked for the next available table and the man at the front desk said 15 minutes but we could carry on and get a drink at the bar whilst waiting… 35 minutes later we’re still waiting to be seated. No one acknowledged us still waiting. Several customers had finished their meals and left and there were plenty of tables that were either empty or needed cleaning. Nether the less I then went upstairs for my daughter to use the toilet which was absolutely disgusting and in need of a decent clean with toilet paper all over the floor and again came out to stacks of empty tables upstairs too. Went back down stairs where all the staff were still talking amongst themselves so I had to take it upon myself to ask the man at the front desk how much longer as this was now getting on for 40 minutes waiting and he said “I’m not sure should be ready soon” but again gave us no clarity on when we actually be seated at a table. We straight away Left and headed to zizi where we served straight away and great service. Not usually one to leave a review but really disappointed and won’t be returning.

Pay attention my friends there was 14 of us and we paid in advance for a bottomless lunch. That was it at least Robin Hood wore a balaclava. The food took over 40 minutes to come out they allow one hours free drinking alas 45...

Ribs were burnt and we generally had to look to wave down waiter constantly as they were not attentive. For example, asking for refillable drinks. I always tip but chose, on this occasion, not to. On the subject of refillable drinks, you can’t order full...

They only have a very restricted menu when events happening in Cardiff. Service slow and some staff had no idea what they were doing. Food not bad but too many negatives to feel warrants anything more than "Poor"
