great for a delicious lunch!!!!!! chicken burger was DELIGHTFUL. SO JUICY!!!!! yum yum yum 😋! paid £18 for chicken burger, chips and a coke. definitely overpriced, HOWEVER absolutely delicious. so succulent. the value for money would be so much higher if chips came with the burger as part of a meal 😞😞😞😞😞!!!!!!! first visit here and was pleased. decent atmosphere 😄 DELICIOUS FOOD 😋. Wetherspoons toilets have nothing on shake shack ‼️‼️may aswell have climbed up everest for a wee 🙁🙁🙁 they also smelled (poo-ey 👃💨)! Not much interaction with the staff but seemed nice enough 😁😁

Called here for a bite to eat after a stroll around Winter Wonderland. We called as closing time approached and didn't know what to expect but was surprised with the standard and quality of burger from a fast food chain. A little on the pricey side however the burger and fries were cooked nicely and tasted lovely.

The best thing was the Sprite! Fries were over salted and were the chicked bites. The burgers are overpriced and tiny. Tried Shake Shack in NYC and it was a lot better! Dont waste your money!

I came with friends to eat, was expecting just to eat fries as I dont eat meat. Thankfully I saw there was a vegan section on the menu. So I went to the cashier and asked for it, the guy looked at me strangely and laughed at me in front of the customers ( I dont know why it's on the menu for reason), then turned around and told the open kitchen what I ordered they laughed and stared at me. Honestly just felt very weird and I find it disrespectful, I dont think people should feel embarrassed about ordering something thats clearly stated on the menu. Things must be bad at home or something so maybe you should ask if bro is okay :)

I went on a short break to Cardiff at the end of June. I had a chicken burger here, the chicken was super succulent and the mayo had a nice zing, lovely. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice, and very reasonably priced too. A solid 9.2 out of 10.

Had to try this place out after a friend told me about how good it was. Have to say, it’s probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and I eat a lot of burgers at various different places. It was succulent and juicy, had tons of flavour and quite literally melted in my mouth. The fries were spot on aswell. My only gripe, is you don’t get many fries, and the drinks are rather small for the money. Apart from this, amazing. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fries and drinks.

I saw all the negative reviews on this place and after reading it, you genuinly have to ignore them and try it for yourself My boyfriend and i went here and really enjoyed. Fresh food and cooked to perfection. 10 out of 10 Only negative is the price, but what isnt expensive these days

We love shake shack and have been visiting for years. However yesterdays visit was not as good. The cheesy fries we have regularly were not as good. The cheese sauce was thick and not runny. And it tasted so processed. Really busy as usual and we will ho back again but don’t change the cheese sauce

Genuinely the worst food to memory that I’ve ever eaten. Burgers are ridiculously small and cost £9. Chips were nice but myself and my cousin had a vegan and a chicken burger and the texture and flavours were really disgusting.

Ordered two bottles of root bear to go with my meal, one for a family member. When I went to pick up the order there was 2 floats on the tray and when I asked about it the server said to me that I requested floats. I told the server I did not order floats I ordered bottles and to that she had this attitude to tell me again what I ordered... I ended up having to tell the server to not argue with me because I know what I ordered. She was ignorant when taking order as it was. Was supposed to be refunded difference, however when I got home I checked online banking and the refund hasn't shown up. Terrible Service, sub-par food, over-priced and complete waste of time.

Me and my daughter decided to go to shake shack after a long 4 hours of shopping, the interior was nothing interesting but It was still nice inside, the queue was quite long when we first arrived but it didn’t take longer than 5 minutes before we were at the counter , the person who took our order was very kind yet still professional, I ordered a plain cheeseburger and fries while my daughter ordered chicken bites, we then went round and queued for around 10-15 minutes which was great, there was also benches which were helpful to sit on while waiting, when we got our food we walked out and sat on a bench, we opened the bag to realise our fries weren’t there, i was upset but moved on and started to eat my burger, It was one of the best burgers I have ever had and my daughter said those chicken bites were the BEST she had ever had even compared to the more expensive ones at a fancy restaurant, overall this was a great place to go if you need something fast just check your order before you leave!

My partner and I went to shake shack on the night of the first of March and while we were stood waiting to order the staff were laughing and joking around even having made eye contact with us and the just continued to have their conversation-this carried on for about 5 minutes. When we ordered they got it wrong despite them repeating the order to us and my partner had to go and pay for the missing food, admittedly we hadn’t payed for what was missing but this is because the order was wrong. All in all quite disappointing.

Eaten here tens of times. Never disappointed, in my opinion this is one of the best burger joints in town. Try the shack stack and cheesy fries!

We came and thought we would try out shake shack but have been left very disappointed with the overall service. The employee serving us was miserable and mine and my partners burgers were both pink inside. Therefore meaning that I have now had to substitute food elsewhere. I was eating this in the car whilst driving home u aware until I passed a light and could see.

When I eat meat I used to love this place. But today I have just had the worst meat free burger in 2 years of going veggie. First one I ordered we sent back because it was luke warm .which they did replace. To be honest I should not of bothered. It was awful a sloppy burger when no texture. It really is bad and to add insult it was £20 for 2 burgers which me and my partner both left . Definitely somewhere I won't be having again .so disappointed.

Unfortunately only 1 rating as a double burger on its own cost £10.49 and a absolutely tiny portion of chips at £4.50. For the weight of a Happy meal with a drink cost me £16. Absolutely ridiculous considering nothing about their burgers are gourmet, comprising of a tasteless bun, 2 burgers that resembled being smashed under a food, what seemed like a cheese single slice and perhaps 10 shreds of lettuce. My local takeaway sells a triple half pound burger meal with onion rings, mountain of mixed salad and bacon, large chips and can for £9 Wouldn’t recommend this unless you have money to waste and simple taste preferences just go to Burger King. Better quality and you could buy a small house with the change.

Had lunch here on a family day out in Cardiff, as the children were with us & our previous experience of Shake Shack in Covent Garden had been overwhelmingly positive.I’d forgotten how expensive it is. £27.50 for the smallest burger, the smallest hotdog, garlic fries, regular fries and 3 drinks! £3 for a lemonade! The food itself was actually quite nice. Despite the hotdog / burger being minuscule portions - they were hot and quite tasty ( I’m no fast food fan) . Fries for both kids were obviously freshly cooked & enjoyed by both.Cleanliness wasn’t great, although I did see staff clearing the tables. Not good either when they have a big notice saying to ask for straws & there’s nobody around to ask! Won’t be rushing back. Ended up costing me extra, as the 10 year old was still hungry and we had to buy extra for him!

Food was okay but the staff werent interested at all. I guess maybe they were busy but shouldnt be an excuse at all.

Have to admit that the burger quality is really good but the prices are quite high considering the small portions that are served and the fact that no chips are included and need to be ordered separately.

Came to Cardiff for Pink Concert and needed food beforehand.I had gastric surgery 5 years ago so can't eat a great deal. Ordered their cheeseburger and fries, expecting to leave quite a lot of the fries due to the size of my stomach.Burger alone was £5.75, what came out wouldn't fill a child. If this is a chain in the US then they've swapped the $ for £ without taking into consideration the exchange rate.Overpriced tiny burgers, they're ok but definitely not worth the price tag

Note - chicken option is halal!Small but filling burger with a thick chunky sized chicken fillet. Pleasantly surprised at how good the chipotle cheese fries were. My friend had a strawberry milkshake which was yum and I had a lemonade that was nice but too bitter to finish. Enjoyed the meal overall.

Firstly before I start to u can not compare the likes of shake shack and five guys to McDonald's. That's like comparing nandos to KFC. They are completely different.The service at the counter was friendly and helpful. The price compares well to five guys. We both ordered cheese burgers and shakes and I have to say they were really good. The curly fries and shakes were nice too!This was our first visit to a shake shack and I will be back.

Went here before a concert, quick and easy to order. You order at the till then they give you a buzzer which alerts you when your food is cooked. We ordered two double cheeseburgers, garlic mayo fries and two milkshakes, they came out quick and tasty with the burgers being perfectly done. The customer service from the first point of contact to the moment we left was outstanding. Two different members of staff checked whether we needed anything else and how our food was, it sounded like they genuinely cared also. The restaurant is not that big but it offers a variety amount of table sizes to cater for large parties and small ones. We will be back again, thank you.

Awful experience all round. 25 min wait for the most expensive, unappealing food I csn remember being served. Plain hotdogs were tiny and dry. Frankfurter sausage was full of gristle - had to give up rather than be ill. Cheesy chips 'cheese' sauce was disgusting and ruined the small portion provided. Order handed over with drinks missing and the table and floor were visibly dirty. Couldn't get out quickly enough and had to supplement dinner at a nice independent cafe instead.

I went on a school trip to Cardiff. I go to Cardiff quite often to spent the day but on this school trip I went to the Museum. After the museum they let wander around Cardiff, so I thought we could do to Shake Shack. It was exponentially good, the service was great and the food was stupendous. The only criticism I have for the Shake Shack is the extortionate prices! But all in all I highly recommend that you attend this establishment!!!

Came in for a quick bite to eat whilst out shopping with my daughter. Saw a line at the till so thought that this must be a good place to eat. However when our food came it was clear to see that there were slim pickings to be had for a hefty price tag. Food nice but awfully expensive for what you get. Big fat BOO from me today. Decided to give it a try one evening after work and had to search for a table that didn't have other diners left overs on.Service at the counter was ok, nothing to shout about and the food was mediocre and served with luke warm fries but not worth the price we paid.The toilet was filthy and upon glancing at the inspection list on the door it hadn't been cleaned since the previous evening.I contacted Shake Shack on social media and it took what seemed to be a lifetime to get a response in the way of an email from Nia the general manager who apologised and asked if we'd like to give it another try then to personally contact her. I emailed her back thanking her for the offer and decided that we'd give it another go however I've not had anymore contact from her or anyone else and none of my emails have been replied to.Pathetic customer service - you'd probably do better trying elsewhere.

Heard a lot about Shake Shack and how good it was. Having spent a lot of time in California and hearing people say it was on par with In n Out burger, i thought I'd give it a try.I ordered the Shack Burger and the garlic mayo fries, this came in at £10, so not that cheap. The garlic mayo fries were good, but no way were they worth the money.The burger was bland, as if it hadn't been seasoned. This can't be compared to In n Out burger, the only positive thing Shake Shack has going for it is, you don't need to fly to California to get it!

Only popped in for shakes to be fair so can’t comment on the food. Three average peanut butter shakes and a heavy red velvet shake with cream and chocolate chips. All ok but nothing more than that and cost over £20. Not impressed and wouldn’t return.

Partner and I went here for lunch on a trip to cardiff. I had the shack-cargo hot dog and the OH had a plain hot dog with ketchup. The cargo dog was amazing, full of flavour and the OH said her dog was tasty as well we also shared a portion of fries which we found tasty. The hot dogs could be slightly bigger but didn't dissaude from the experience.I don't think it's as expensive as some people have mentioned but everyone has different expectations. Our meal was £15 for 2 dogs, chips and a refillable drink which was fine, much better than a standard fast food shop.OH ordered the food and said the staff were super friendly and even asked her name which gave a nice personal feel. Would definitely go again!

went here intending to grab a quick bite from what appeared to be a fast food joint on the way to the station - ended up waiting 30 minutes and almost missing my train. The poor employees - of which there was the sum total of three for a clamouring crowd of customers - were trying their best but were absolutely run off their feet. When the food finally came it was decent, but portion sizes were pretty stingy considering the steep prices - about £15 for a small, plain burger, fries, and small soft drink. Ridiculously expensive.At the very least this outlet needs to hire more employees so that customers can be served in a timely manner. Expecting just three members of staff to cope with so many customers is unacceptable - as is expecting customers to wait upwards of half an hour for what is supposed to be fast food.

We only went in as it was opposite the Apple store and we had time to spare before our genius appointment.I’m not a boring old fart but and I do not appreciate being called dude on a number of occasions being served.£12.50 for one iced tea (room temp no ice I had to go back and ask for it) an instant hot choc full of sugar and a portion of soggy fries with squirty cheese on top.No coffee ?! A friend had been here and said it was nice so five of us tried it. I had a cheeseburger, cheese fries and a chocolate malted shake. We had a device so when it beeped we could collect our food, it took a while but looked nice when it came although my burger was missing so we had to go back and he finally brought the burger out and he did apologise. The cheese fries were okay and so was the burger, I really loved the shake but for the price they charge, I would have preferred a Big Mac in mcdonalds.

The service at the tills is faultless. They give you a buzzer which you take with you to your table, it flashes and goes off when the food is ready.We had a festive burger, Concrete and cheesy fries. It felt like an expensive mistake.The burger was £8.50 and tiny. The size was comparable to McDonalds. The taste was OK.The concrete was half molten but tasted good like a cold custard with brownies mixed in. For £5, it was steep.The cheesy fries weren’t worth the £4 and tasted cheap. Upon leaving we noticed the 3 star hygiene rating. For £17.50 it almost felt like an expensive mistake.Oddly we tried Shake Shack in New York, the quality was only slightly better in America because of the different options and added bacon in almost everything.

Running late for a show after a days shopping we decided to grab a bite here. Despite length of queue was served quickly. Wasn’t really sure what to expect so just ordered two standard burgers, a portion of fries and two cokes. £20 and given a pager. Food was reasonably quick. The burgers were super tasty and the fries good too. It was expensive for the portion sizes but given its location I can understand that.

The venue and location are ideal. It was well laid out and neat and tidy. Staff were smart and pleasant to deal with. I was a bit disappointed on the prices vs the food, which was good but with so much competition nearby, I did not expect to break £10 for a burger, fries and a drink. (mine came to £12.25)What I was really disappointed in was the plastic cutlery, plastic straws and the mini condiment sachets. These are all not good for the environment, and not bio degradable. I hope that Shake Shack will follow in the footsteps of other restaurants (both chain and independent) in moving to more bio degradable and better for the environment.

Even though Shake Shack is a bit pricey the staff are excellent. In particular, Lidia was extremely helpful. I was dining in the restaurant but also needed a separate take away order. She prepared it for me and had the order basically ready to go while I ate so I could just pay and leave. Really nice of her to do, especially as all I had originally asked for was a time on how long the order would take to put together. Made my day a bit easier

First the positives: the vanilla milkshake was delicious (although small) and the pickle burger I had was also delicious (although, again, small). The burger patty was good quality and cooked really well. I also had cheesy chips which were okay- small portion again! Now the main negative and pretty much why they get 2 stars. It is SO expensive. The burger cost me £10. The milkshake a fiver. The chips £4. That’s £19 for a burger meal!!!! It’s not worth that in a million years. I was eating the meal feeling completely ripped off- especially as the portions are so meagre. So overall, nice food and it would score much higher if the price point was no exorbitant. My meal was worth £13/£14 maximum- £19 is shocking really! Would i advise? Not until they lower their prices!

I find this place expensive. We had to wait quite a fair amount of time for our buzzer to go off to collect our food. Food is nice, decent quality and a good choice of different toppings but I certainly don’t think it justifies the cost. The peanut butter milkshake was delicious.

We was shopping in Cardiff thought we would pop in here looked really nice on the menu board nearly fell over with price and should of stopped there but kids where excited! Well what a waste of money I’ve had better burgers in McDonald’s and this was 3 x the price ! Will never ever go back again.

Went here for lunch while shopping, the burger was okay as were the chips but my gosh it’s not cheap! I would expect the portions to be bigger and table service to be offered when paying this much for fast food! Especially as you get practically the same size burger at McDonalds with table service for a lot less money!

Food is amazing, just the fact that it is overpriced just a little. The portions could be bigger for the money you are paying, the service was fast. But I would definitely return!

If you want to pay 3 X what you'd pay for a MacDonalds meal then this is your place I was gutted , food was good but it's just a glorified MacDonalds

It was a tasty burger, nothing out of this world but a good burger all the same. However, it was not the biggest, neither was the portion of cheesy fries that I was given.I was disappointed with the price to size ratio, it cost a fraction under £13 for the meal in the photo with no drink.Someone in my group had a hotdog however and they said it was very nice as was the chicken burger.Verdict: I wouldn’t rush back because if the cost, but if you don’t mind a smaller portion you’ll really like it I’m sure

Menu looked good and it was in prime location so thought we’d give it ago as I love burgers. Can’t explain how disappointing this place was and I felt like I was robbed of a meal. Over priced Low end fast food Poor quality I’ll never return, I’d rather eat from the bins.

Paid £20 for two burgers and one drink.The chips were cold and the burgers resembled the ones you can get for 99p at McDonalds.It's also CRAZY expensive for what it is.The burger in the photo cost me the best part of £8 (fool me). Having been to Shake Shack a few times in the US, I decided to take my family to taste and compare against Five Guys, which is a favourite for us.Cardiff is two hours away, so we had to make a special trip to get there, which we did. When we arrived we were told that the shakes had run out, which made us laugh and despair in equal measures. Decided to order a burger instead, which was quite good.Would we make the trip again? Probably not. Would we try Shake Shack again? Perhaps, even if it is just to give them a second chance after their previous performance.

Heard about shake shack as one of the best burgers in USA. So gave it a try.Prices are offensive. No other word for it.I was going to try a milkshake but at £5.25 and seeing the size of them, not a chance.Then checked price of the crinkle fries and £3. Again no way.So reluctantly passed over £5.75 for a cheese burger. (Shack Burger).Meat was very good, patty was mis -shaped and bits crumbling off.Bread bun was flat as a pancake. Sauce was just some light spreading of nothingness. No ketchup or pickles on a cheeseburger?, pumps out of order, so was given a sachet.Decor was ok, lots of wood. Blaring music too loud. Not busy.I was left wondering what the premium price was for. It was a good burger and id have again, but at £3 max. Maybe because its cooked fresh so remains juicy? because of the quality of meat? Its fast food design and look, so cant be for the decor.Quarter pounder with cheese, fries and a strawberry thick shake from Mc D's is a third of the price. That would have cost £15 in shake shack.Glad i tried? No. Disappointed? yes. Better burger than BK/McD? marginally. Just dont bother. Its daylight robbery.

Visited today with my friend, thought we’d try it as I’d walked past several times in the past. It looks cool and quirky, shame that’s where the positives about this establishment end. Oh dear the food it’s a complete rip-off I ordered a burger and cheesy chips. When my buzzer! Sounded and I collected it how disappointing. The burger was tiny and honestly no better than a Mcdonald’s burger in fact I’d honestly say Mcdonald’s is better and far cheaper. The cheesy chips had some disgusting liquid cheese on them. Go to Mcdonald’s honestly you will have a better experience, better food and won’t walk out feeling like you’ve been robbed.

We visited the Shakeshack, Cardiff for the first time today. The member of staff who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. However, it's basically a glorified Macdonalds which charges twice the price. My two children and I had a burger and fries each plus three milkshakes. The total cost was £41 and some pence!! One burger was a plain cheeseburger and another a plain chicken burger. I had a shackburger. All buns were flat. The sauce was quite nice on my burger and the chips were crinkly. All were served in very similar packaging to Macdonalds - cardboard trays for chips ( which were £3 a throw) , burgers in paper wrappers - all served on a plastic tray. To compound our disappointment, we had to clear our table of the mess left by the last customer and no-one came to wipe it over. I am never going back.

Took my niece here today as a treat for the end of the summer holidays. Whilst the little one loved it (she had the hotdog) and chips we had the cheeseburgers with normal chips and one with cheese. I travelled to try this place out from Bristol. Didn’t worth the trip. Burger is my favourite food and don’t get me wrong it’s nothing wrong with the burgers here but for the same price I can have much much nicer food and bigger portions at Five Guys. Overpriced and very average taste burger. If you are live nearby it’s worth to try once. I asked a strawberry mint lemonade. They may mixed up my order as it did not taste minty or strawberry like at all just an oversweet artificial lemon taste soft drink. Burgers were “ok” but definitely not worth the enormously inflated price.Fries were soggy - zero “crispiness” as in the description. Only plus I guess was the refillable soft drinks but in reality who drinks more than 2 of those in one sitting.First time here and highly unlikely to ever return.

Me and my girlfriend love a good burger place. I mean, who doesn't? We had walked past this one a few times during the day whilst shopping and then finally decided to go in. We stopped and looked at the menu for a short while because obviously as visitors to Cardiff we didn't really know how they operated. We had a female member of staff taking our order at first, we were ordering and then mid-sentence she began to shout and a male member of staff who was currently walking beside us so at the time we thought that she was aiming it at us. She and the other member then began to have a little spat between themselves right when we were trying to order our meal. A few moments later, the female member of staff said some aggressive in another language and then stormed off, leaving us still waiting to complete our food order. The male member of staff then jumped in to save the day.The only thing that saved this visit was the food. Good save!Won't be going back again, not after the rude staff.

If you enjoy a good burger then you need to go to Shake Shack. Personally I think they are a lot better than Five Guys- but you are looking at the same price range. The cheese and bacon burger was delicious. All food is made to order and the cheesy fries are highly recommended- crinkle cut and just the right amount of crispy with a generous amount of cheese sauce drizzled over them. The restaurant is clean, plenty of seating and staff are friendly.

Son had a shack stack delicious would order again,and cheese and bacon fries good portion and would recommend them, I had a hot dog with the topping on,tasty and would order again.Milkshake s are very moorish!

I was treated to a meal by my son and this was where he took me. I have to be honest I was very surprised it was great I would go there again

Celebrating start of school holidays. Gobsmacked by measly portions. Had high hopes but a shoddy imitation of a burger trading off its 'real meat' content and some pseudo posh pickle. And what were those fries! Crinkle cut nightmares from school dinners ....

Frozen custard all blended with a variety of toppings depending on what takes your fancy! Would recommend the strawberry jam and welsh cakes mix up!! Perfect for a sunny day!!

We had an enjoyable lunch in here a few weeks ago and 156 Daniel S was super helpful in helping us choose what to eat....there are so many delicious things on the menu! Thank you also for the recommendation of the bacon + cheese chips, they were amazing! The bill was just over £30 but having farmed cattle i know they arent cheap to produce!! Peaople need to remember how long it takes for cattle to grow and how much it costs to keep them going during this time. Great customer service, a nice clean restaurant and will definitely be visiting again when we return to Cardiff!! As you all say in Wales...'Lovely'!

I first experienced shake shack whilst over in American and upon finding out there was one in Cardiff I decided I had to go when I was next there. The service was brilliant, food was prepared quickly and all the staff were friendly. The food itself was also spot on, a little smaller than what I had in the states but the tastes were the exact same. Recommend this to anyone who enjoys five guys but is looking for a more up class place to eat.

Served by the lovely Natalie, burger was very nice with chips and a drink, place was kept spotless, would happily go again with friends, friendly & personal service. Proves you don't have to sacrifice quality or service to have fast good food.

These burgers are to die for. A bit expensive but worth it. The place does need to tidy up a bit, tables not cleaned as often as they should, but overall the food is fab

I love having a meal at hte Shake Shack, burgers are juicy and delicious. The chicken burger is also really tasty. The only reason I mark it down a star is the chips are quite a small portion for the price (especially when compared to Five Guys), but they are nicer than Five Guys in my opinion, and the drinks are refillable but come in tiny cups and you are not able to help yourself, awkward asking for a refill sometimes, though thats wprobably what they bank on to save people drinking so much.

Absolutely delicious I had a shroom burger and chips with cheesy sauce so so good. Later went back for a cardiff crunch ice cream fabulous.

I had the shroom burger, very nice, a bit messy to eat but if you wanted something quick you certainly couldn't complain, my husband loved his burger which seemed to have everything on it. I cannot remember what his was called. Budget friendly

Having tried few other burger places in Cardiff I decided to give Shake Shake a go. I went for the shackmeister and fries with a herb and bacon topping. It was quiet so only had a short wait, upon receiving the burger I thought i was given a childs burger by mistake! The size was similar to a mcdonalds cheese burger. However the burger was tasty albeit salty, this must have been from the fried shallots. The fries where ok but again for £4 odd not overly great, the herb sauce was very tangy but quite enjoyable, again salty. Overall the food was nice but for the price it was small, if you're hungry then this is not really the place for you.

Was up in Cardiff for a gig and really been craving a Shake Shack burger ever since I’d seen a review of the restaurant in New York City and how popular the brand is in America and how it has developed!Ordered a Meistershack burger comes with battered fried shallots (with added pickle and onion), cheesy fries and a regular coke!!Took about 8-10 minutes for my order but you know it’s fresh when you can see the food being made and served at the restaurant!!The burgers are juicy and filled with flavour and the cheesy crinkle cut fries are seasoned well and the cheese sauce is to die for!!Simple, delicious and fresh!! Highly recommend the food at Shake Shack and I can’t wait to come again!!!Tip: the drinks are refillable!!

Fancied a burger quicker and more upmarket than McDonalds...this place did just that..excellent quality of meat ,with choice of toppings and my only gripe,,,,it's all in a brioche bun..slightly sweet for me would rather plain ...had cheeseburger plus shallot n crispy onion burger and proper pickled thick gherkins, delish..with herby mayo n bacon topped crinkly chips,at £4.50 a little pricey but all went down a treat .. young guy very courteous and pleasant would go back again..

The best place for a burger in wales the taste of the burgers is perfect it's, all the right size and the Customer service is very good they make you feel at home. With David, Daniel, Mercedes, Nia and Natalie all making you feel like part of the family. Highly recommended

Was excited to hear the chicken burgers hear are halal. Loved Shake Shack in Abu Dhabi as everything is halal there. Went with the wife and two kids, the food was nice however the price was too high. I love the fries here.

Myself and two friends were eager to grab a quick bite to eat before the night's activities. Most burger places in Cardiff are always packed on a Saturday night, but Shake Shack have a very quick turn around of customers and the choice for take-away too.The burger was small, but tasted very nice. The burger was off-set by the large portion of crinkle cut chips, although these were very salty. My friend had a shake which he said was very tasty. As a bonus, they also serve a relatively normal-priced house ale, akin to American IPAs that are flooding the UK recently.Altogether, we left satisfied. I would say it is a little on the pricey side - mainly the burgers.

I've never eaten here before and would defenatley would come back the man serving was polite and helpful our food didn't take long but was freshly prepared . The best burger I've ever had the bun was soft and the salad was fresh. The toilets are up quite a few steps but very clean and smell lovely highly recommended this xx

After waiting for almost fifteen minutes for our order we received a tiny cheeseburger and heavily salted fries. The burger was tasteless. Silly price for a very average meal. Came away hungry. Not recommended.

How this can ever be compared to McDonalds I don't know!The pricing is more but the quality and ingredients justifies this.I know this chain from the States and the portions including the drinks are bigger than the UK, but that's to be expected as everything is bigger in the US.Staff especially David and Daniel were lovely, friendly and attentive. They both knew the menu and were so passionate about the food/drink and working for this chain.The veggie burger was surprisingly good. Good quality bins are used too.Cannot recommend enough

If you actually have taste buds and enjoy good food then this burger is amazing. Sure it isn't as big as the Grazing Shed or have as many options as Five Guys but what they do they do really well.Top it off with beer from Tiny Rebel and the absolutely outstanding crinkle cut fries and this place really is worth the visit.
