TGI Friday's - Cardiff in Cardiff

Food was OK but definately not worth the prices on the menu. The staff were mostly young kids who weren't really interested in being there and more interested in messing about behind the bar and going on their phones than asking if we'd like a drink. I had to go upto the bar and order. However Kacie the girl who served us in the end was very pleasant and far more professional than the younger lads. Not for me I won't be back!

Had an amazing time in TGo Newport road Cardiff today for my daughter's 10th birthday. Our witness was amazing (Shannon R) she went above and beyond to make sure our night was special. Great food which come out really fast. Over all 5 out of 5 experience

Great experience and food was quick and hot, we have the bottomless wings. Service was fantastic from our server Priyanka.

this is a great place to go for any occasion especially birthdays the staff are all so fun and bubbly marie made some lovely drinks the strawberry daiquiris were amazing and the 2 for £10 cocktails are a great selection!!! definitely returning

Had a lovely lunch using their £7 lunch offer which was great food for the price! The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. Special thanks to Faheema and Gareth.

Had a lovely experience sat at the bar having a few drinks, Marie the bartender was amazing nothing was too much trouble.

we ordered for our grandchildren but they had run out of children's burgers which they wanted, we ordered cocktails and they made mojito with spiced rum because they has no white rum but didn't ask us first, so awful we sent them back, did the same with margaritas, so sent them back. ran out of wine too. offered alternative for children's meal, when the bill arrived they had charged adult price of £18 , place dirty toilets dreadful. Overpriced for what it is. A shame as the staff apart from the manager who wasn't interested where absolutely amazing. wont be going back.

this spot is the usual tgis in Newport road that I go to, I took my niece to tgi Fridays on a Thursday girly night and I noticed that there were new staff not only were the staff lovely they did everything in their power to make me and my niece feel welcoming, the women also told me about a free kids meal with an adult meal which saved me half the price and also I had a complementary fudge cake brownie. I will definitely be coming back here as I prefer the staff and the energy in here than the st David’s as the st David’s one is super busy staff are quite rude. So Newport road tgi’s Fridays is the one for me.

Called in for my daughters' birthday. Platter for 2 to share was atrocious for the price, £24.50! Barely enough for one! 2 bowls of chips an extra £10 on top. £130 bill for 4 of us. Definately not worth the money

Such lush service from Aleesia today she told us about all of the current offers you had on, we opted for the 2 course which is fab! She even persuaded me and my friend to get dessert, good choices were made! Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon !

Super SLOW service and the food wasn't good (sesame chicken was totally flavourless). The place was grubby and dirty too, desperately needs a refurb or just closing down.

Our server was very attentive and efficient . The cost is pricey, but bizarrely my sesame chicken was too much chicken couldn’t eat it all, but happily would have had coleslaw and/or corn to fill the plate instead of do much chicken, but also happily paid less. Kids eat for £1, is per adult which brings the price down - if you have children! Wish they’d do a children’s starter, just a garlic bread would be good?

I had a recent visit with my wife and boy Easter Sunday and the visit wasn’t great the service wasn’t bad and the food came out quick but the restaurant was filthy the menus were full of food and so was the table and we could tell they had not been cleaned from the night before, the place was not busy when we arrive there is no excuse for food all over the place I am an ex restaurant manager and staff should be cleaning when the place is not busy not giving dirty tables and menus to customers coming through the door there was food all over the seats and even on the light above the table which we could tell had not been cleaned for many days.

Went for my daughter’s 13th birthday. The young lady at the enterance was lovely and welcoming. We were served by Kaci and Cadi they were both very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent. They sang happy birthday to my daughter and made the evening a nice relaxing enjoyable evening. These two girls are a credit to TGi’s 👍🏻

We was there on the 12/11/23 …and never again…we had a long day and it was time for food so we booked in for 3pm as we got there we was waiting at the front desk for 10 minutes.so we thought ok probably very busy but no as we got in there it was like a ghost town I’d say 15 people at most…witch I thought this is good would not be waiting long as we were all hungry…….we got to are table and that was that…..25 minutes later a waitress came and said would you like drinks we all sed yes and we are ready to order food.so all sorted.we thought…15 minutes later the drinks arrived -1 so she sed it’s on its way .10 minutes later we got that one …….1 hours after all that we got food and that was over cooked dried out and barely warm…don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying good money for good food but that was s..t food and very bad service.and at least 6 of the waitresses were just standing there talking ……..I should of asked them to see the manager but if that’s the was they run there business what’s the point……never again and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone
