The best restaurants serving American food in England

It didn't go well, we had the craving for steak myself and misses, got to Middletons MK around 9pm Saturday night. It was quite inside, a few people on tables. So they were not busy. Ordered starter which was okay. But the steak I ordered was wrong. I really feel that the steak wasn't a 10oz sirloin but 8oz rump instead. It had no taste, very little seasoning, as I cut it open it was tough, it was like the steak was cooked from frozen, no way it was fresh. My wife's steak ribeye 8oz was a little better, but it didn't have the taste a steak should have. The service, the lady serving us was okay, but their was another young lady, walking around in a mood. You could feel her attitude. I am sorry to say. My wife's salad and mushroom dish tasted better than the steaks. The cocktail drink which was made for my wife was spot on, perfect. We are sorry to say that a bill of £96, for 2 starters 2 mains 2 drinks. I wasn't happy to pay. Middletons MK, there are alot of new steak houses in MK now, you guys need to sort your steaks out really. As this is your bread and butter. Last time we were here was about 5 years ago, then it was 5 star. It had amazing steaks. Something has changed.

The food was amazing, the staff were super friendly, the place was really clean, and Oscar was awesome with his recommendations. I’ll definitely be coming back!

El menú de la hora del almuerzo es muy bueno. El bistec Rump estaba perfectamente cocinado (medio) todo lavado con un vaso encantador de Malbec. Gracias Raj por cuidarme👍

I went on Mother’s Day after a trip to Brigemere. I was treated to lunch by my daughter and son-in-law, and we hadn’t booked. We just called in and sat In the front bar area. It was cosy, the food was perfect, and the atmosphere was buzzing. I had a lovely time and would defo go again. The sheet anchor has a long standing reputation that is well deserved it ticks all the boxes.

Brandon is probably the best server I have ever come across. Impeccable service and knowledge of the menu. Charasmatic and downright hilarious. He really made our evening.

The food was amazing. Dan was a brilliant waiter. Would definitely come again. We've come away for the weekend and this has been the icing on the cake.

I made a reservation weeks in advance, but upon arrival, I had to wait 30 minutes for my table. The bar staff were rude, and when I tried to sit in the bar area, I was told it was all reserved, leaving me standing around. Some of the food was cold, but I didn’t bother saying anything since the waiter was too busy chatting with the table next to us to notice we needed help. This isn’t my first visit, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before, but after this, I won’t be returning. They completely ruined my Mother’s Day meal.

Animado a usar el código QR para ordenar, pero no recibí una señal y no quería pasar mi tiempo sentado en un restaurante que se conecta a WiFi y averiguar cómo ordenar. Preguntado si tomarían mi orden y el personal parecía incómodo y preguntó por qué quería que tomaran una orden. Estábamos en un grupo, todos ordenados por separado casi al mismo tiempo, pero grandes brechas entre los pedidos. Ni siquiera una jarra de agua del grifo llegó hasta que estuvimos a mitad de camino comiendo nuestra comida. ¡Nunca más!

It’s our first time ordering from Miller and Carter and it didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing. Delivery took a while but I guess it is Mother’s Day so that’s probably why!

The food was exceptional, cooked to perfection, and the Rioja wine was an excellent value for money. However, the service was disappointing. Our waiter was visibly intoxicated and engaged in inappropriate behaviour. During breaks, he consumed large quantities of beer and crisps without washing his hands, and then proceeded to cut our bread manually. After the meal, he left steak juice on the table for several minutes without cleaning it up. When the waiter returned with the dessert menu, he used my wife’s napkin to wipe the table without applying any disinfectant, and failed to replace it. Consequently, we decided not to have dessert and requested the bill. We had to request the bill a second time before it was presented. The bill included a 12.5% service charge, which I found excessive given the unsatisfactory service we received. I did not feel inclined to tip, as my experience had been deeply marred. The waiter responded dismissively when we declined to offer a tip, and he promptly bid us farewell by throwing the receipt tray onto the bar top in anger. Overall, while we would consider returning for the exceptional food, we would not recommend the establishment for its service.

Food was great thanks! Restaurant took a long time to prepare. Worth the wait in this case though.
