Leanne (Mirfield) was amaaaaaaazing, pure amazeballs! She even made the review card into a poem just by using her own name : “We’d love to hear your feedback, We want every experience you have with us to be the best it can, which is why we’d love to know your thoughts, Your server today (at Miller & Carter Mirfield) was Leanne !” Oh and the food wasn’t bad either! Top notch in fact!

I have no issues with the food, the food was brilliant, spread out fairly well with timings also. However the person who greeted us at the beginning of the evening was extremely rude and came across very unapproachable. I've never had the issue on previous occasions when visiting and this is a first. Whilst on our way to being seated, it killed the vibe straight away and gave us a bad experience, one that shouldn't happen again. People pay good money for the food and like I said previously I've never encountered bad service at M+C until this evening. Friday 28.03

I cannot recommend enough this place. I always used to know it as the 3 nuns. The food is top notch, steak was cooked beautifully and the starter was bigger than I expected but very well worth it. For the two of us it was a great experience and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Very good value for money. The fixed lunch menu is a great idea and as I mentioned fantastic value for money! Special mention to Callum our waiter. He was incredibly professional throughout, attentive and well mannered. He is a great asset to your venue so cudos on the HR department for the hiring of him! We will definitely be back

Another amazing meal here. Food beautifully cooked, service is outstanding, easy to book. Our server Mark was exceptional and really made a fuss over us and my little boy.

Visit Tuesday afternoon for meal here for the first time, Service from Callum our waiter was very good, although the lady who served our food, just left it in the table and did not ask if we needed anything else, I had to ask for a fork. The steaks were nice but not amazing and for the price we paid you would expect something better. The desserts really need upgrading as they were not great. Carpet was very dirty and honestly needs a deep clean and wash. Apart from that it was a nice place to visit a very relaxed atmosphere I would be willing to try this again perhaps.

We shared the cote de bœuf which was excellent and loads of it. It had a deal on with a bottle of red wine. The whole experience was great. Alison the waitress who has served us a number of times certainly knows her job.

Another fantastic meal, couldn't recommend these restaurants enough, Our server 'Kirstie' did an excellent job in her recommendations.

Me and my family visited on a Monday night and it was astounding, the service we had by Alison was amazing checking up on us and making sure everything was okay for us, we’ve been a few times but the service this time round was impeccable

We came here on a Saturday lunchtime - the food and drinks were great and we received really attentive service. The lunch menu is quite good value, and the mini desserts with a hot drink are a good option. The steak was cooked slightly on the rare side, but our table was fine with that.

Service was really slow. Wait over an hour for our food and it wasn’t even cooked right. I would understand if this was on a really busy Friday or Saturday but this was a Thursday and very quiet inside. I ordered a medium steak and it came rare. Very poor, happened the last 2 times I have been. Would not recommend.

We go Miller and Carter regularly, the food always tastes amazing and steak is cooked to perfection. The service we received yesterday from Alison has left a lasting impression, some people don't have to be taught customer service because they are naturally kind, positive, and considerate. Alison was all that and more, thank you.

Always a great steak and friendly service. We went earlier and the table next to us were so unnecessarily rude to the staff, basically lying to try and get money off. The staff dealt with these awful people in such a professional manner. .

Me and my daughter decided to go couple days before as daughter not been before. We both got 7oz rump was really nice we was a bit worried as we don’t usually eat steak out only at home but was not dissapointed. We also had a side of mac and cheese which was nice. We had a cocktail each a pornstar and disarano rose they were really nice too. Very busy but nice atmosphere. Hollie served us and she was lovely and warm natured and had knowledge of steak and information on cocktails when we asked. She was on the ball a very nice lass and well presented.

Food Fabulous ! Service Excellent !

I thought the service and the food was excellent, we really enjoyed it and would visit again in the near future. The only disappointment was nobody was there to greet us or anyone else , we were behind a couple with a child who'd been waiting to be seated for over 10 minutes, we could see staff not really doing much and not one looked at the reception area to see if anyone was waiting. The customer in front went and got a member of staff . And the only other one was we were placed on a table that was sticky . With me been a ex chef and hospitality manager I was disappointed. The decor was great , the music was ambient and relaxing.

I’m a Courier driver. I try to pick up delivery from here yesterday. Workers are very rude! They works there but they don’t know when will be the delivery ready they don’t know where is my delivery….I asked 3 people about my delivery all 3 people ignored me. 😑I had to cancel it because not worth it waiting there for nothing! You guys wasting drivers time. I will not pickup up any delivery from here again!

I've been here a few times and each time has been amazing. The food is amazing and always to a very high standard and Service is brilliant. Kirstie was so lovely and very attentive throughout the night.

Superb steak, not so good with a second meal, though service was second to none.

Hugo, our server, was absolutely wonderful and so attentive. He explained everything so thoroughly and kept us updated with wait times - the food was wonderful and the service was too! We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Hugo as a server again! He was so knowledgeable! Thank you.

We were served by Mark. He offered great service and was very attentive. We ordered from the Rare Treats menu and had chorizo as an extra plus a couple of drink each. The food was cooked to our liking, especially the steak. We weren't rushed and empty glasses and plates were swiftly moved way. I was happy with everything until I was told I couldn't use my friends and family discount of 20% off the bill. It says I can in the t&c's and it was a Thursday. My friend has one and she used hers yesterday on the same menu. When I asked last Thursday I was told the code wouldn't work on the set menu without even an attempt to try. Very disappointing when it would gave worked, had it been tried.

Absolutely perfect meal, made even more special by the server Hollie. We really appreciated you going above and beyond, always checking on the table. it really made our sons 13th birthday special. All the food was excelent, cooked amazingly and well seasoned! Really good value for money too. Table of 6, we ate what we wanted, and bill was £235, £50 of that was drinks. We would definitely come back, as long as we are looked after by Hollie again, she should be the trainer for new starters!

We came in tonight for the rare treat deal as we thought it was really good value for money - even with the steak supplements. Our server Rory was fantastic - really nice and friendly.

The food and pudding was lovely, the only thing was the green bleended sauce was very salty, I don’t know why it was so salty but there wasn’t any need for it as the meal was delicious and lamb was cooked to perfection.

Christmas Lunch There was nothing great about our Christmas Lunch. Wrong wine brought to table (ordered white, brought rose'). Food very poor and billed for the rose' wine. 'Stick to the steak' would be my comment.

Came here with my beautiful girlfriend and we really enjoyed it. The food was 10/10. Sat on a cosy little table in the corner. Our server Mark was brilliant!! very helpful, polite and attentive.

Had the butcher's block sharing plate with ribeye, rump and fillet steaks that came with a side order of ribs Other than one piece of the fillet not up to scratch, basically a brilliant meal

A poor experience. The service was poor taking a long time to place our order. Two bowl fulls of lettuce were delivered followed 5 minutes later by the rest of the main course. Not at any point during the meal did anyone ask how the meal was or if we wanted anymore drinks. The food was “ok” but certainly not worth the £40 price tag each. The upgraded “triple cooked chips” were supermarket frozen chips which was disappointing. We asked for the bill then had to go up the till to get someone to actually take our money. Upon leaving we had to walk through a plummet of smoke as people puffed away right outside the doorway. A shame really as we have been here before but am afraid won’t be back.

My husband brought me here for a birthday treat and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was very good - we were served by Mark. Overall a great experience, again! We will definitely be back.

I cannot complain about the food as that would be unfair to Miller & Carter as the problem with the food was it was extremely cold due to it taking almost 40 minutes to deliver the food. Whilst tracking the driver I noted that they stopped FOUR times on route!! as you can imagine a steak isn't warm after being sat in a car for 40 minutes!!

Went for my 30th birthday and got the butchers block, I think it's called. All the steaks were overdone and chewy. The table next to us was also having difficulty with the quality of the steaks. Wouldnt return.

2 burannta out of three ordered frozen with ice inside, light bulb blew over table so in dark staff kept saying they had to dim lights it blew up and flashed and was out couldn't read menu before it went out couldn't see food after it blew. Butchers block marrow bone arrived stone cold sent back and reheated then found loads of grissal several large pieces, peppercor. Sauce cold onion loaf cold. The other two guests mains where ok, really disappointing and not your usual standard spoiled a special birthday treat...disappointing costly experience even with adjustment made to bill
