The guy called Danny is a very nice guy and was so cheerful he deserves a pay rise as I am coming here just for him

We have been taken care by server named Ash , he was such a brilliant person and was really quick and attentive and gave his 100% to serve us. Food was nice but as compare to the price we felt the burger size bit small . Otherwise it was a good experience.

I just felt overcharged. They say kids eat for £2 for a full paying adult but that was not my case, I felt misinformed.. On top of that I was charged a service charge and no explanation for that ... If I had known that my bill was going to be that much I wouldn't have opted for dine in.

Danny is the best!!! That’s all :)

Service was average. No BBQ sauce for the kids and adding a tip. It should be my choice to tip which I was going to, but the staff very not helpful at all

Staines branch never disappoints. Burgers are always delicious, and the staff takes care of you and makes you feel welcomed. Definitely will be back!

Well packaged delivery, amazing food that is just as good as in store! I only order from this location even though I'm within the Kingston area, I didn't realise you had such a difference in quality between the same chain...

Edit from 4* to 5*. Nothing has changed apart from the server by the name of Danny. He was truly serving all the diners with due care and attention. Deserves a 10 out 10. Brilliant service and makes you want to come back.

As a delivery driver, I feel compelled to warn others about the appalling treatment I've received from this restaurant. Without fail, they consistently subject drivers to interminable waits of 15-20 minutes, displaying a complete disregard for our time and efforts. It's evident that they prioritize their own convenience over the needs of those who facilitate their business. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this establishment unless you have time to waste.

Great food excellent service with a smile. Ashton was a diamond. Give that man a raise he is absolutely lovely!

Friendly welcome, fast service, delicious food. Had the Californian, chickenless chicken with onion rings and a side dip. It was delicious and I'm not veggie. You can order from your table using the QR code on the table itself. The staff offered to take my order also. There's a disabled toilet downstairs.

Have not had a takeaway for a while. What an absolute PLEASURE!! The burgers were very tasty, chips well fried but defo not oily at all. The onion rings were superb. Ordered the double burger but it was WAY too much food. Cooked the way I requested. Will DEFO be ordering from them again!!!

I have an allergy to raw egg. I wanted a burger with no mayo. However, they refused as their policy is they won't remove a product you are allergic to and I was offered a choice of about 3 products!!!!!!! So, if I had just said remove the mayo I could have eaten the burger I wanted but because I am allergic to mayo it could not be removed!! Lol WHERE IS THE LOGIC? We went to restaurant next door who catered to our needs sensibly and logically

I love GBK for its huge milkshakes.. at this branch, we ordered fries, halloumi, vanilla shake and strawberry shake. Everything was delicious as usual except halloumi.. There was something not right and it had a strong spice smell. Overall we had a nice time. The staff is polite as well.

This was my first time at a GBK and it didn't disappoint. Food was hot and freshly cooked and the milkshake was lovely and thick.

This is our go to place for Sunday lunch. This GBK restaurant is so good. Head and shoulders above any other GBK we have experienced. Amazing and welcoming staff. Specially Daisy. Absolutely delightful GBK and great staff.

Ordered food via Deliveroo, biggest mistake you could ever make. Food turned up stone cold. Also what you pay and what you get are two different things. Not worth the money, your better off going to one of these one of burger shops. GBK use to lovely, but has gone down hill big time. Would I use these again no I wouldn’t.

As soon as we came in, we were greeted and sat down, our waitress was very attentive, she kept coming over to make sure we had everything we needed such as ketchup & etc! I got a coke and my boyfriend wanted a tap water and they came over with a massive vase and 2 cups without us asking which was very nice! The food came out very quickly and was delicious, especially the onion rings! thank you & we will be back soon <3

5 burgers and £84.05 4 adults and a kid

We waited for 1 hour for our orders until the time we realised that the 2 tables where people arrived after us received their order first. We talked with the attendant and he said that unfortunately they had not ordered ours. Mistakes happen, but the issue is that anyone asked us if were everything ok or checked out order.

Mighty Burger, ordered in medium rare and it came in medium rare. 👍🏻😋 Although the ordering web page didn’t work, all staffs are helpful, polite and always come with smiles. ☺️

Sunday dinner with the family. Came here after a long day really hungry. Place was quiet, 4-5 tables with people,4 waiters on the floor,ordered food for everyone and the burger was very tasty and a fair portion for the price. However i never got to experience how's the fries as mine never arrived. We let another waiter know that one of our fries are missing,he apologised and left,my fries never arrived. Another waiter was eating fries he just grabbed from the kitchen from his hand on the restaurant floor. After we finished our food we waited like 20 minutes for the fries I've ordered twice to show up,but never happened.Then asked for the bill. Food was good but they need to sort out the order system. At least those fries haven't popped up on our bill,next time definitely ordering through the digital system as the waiters seems to be unreliable even at a quiet time even though they were really friendly and polite. Food was great,only gave 3 stars as they didn't deliver my order even after asking for it for a second time.

My wife and I went here for a lunch on a day out. The staff were all friendly and professional, with the option of table service or ordering via their app (webpage). The restaurant wasn't too busy, and we were served our drinks very quickly, with food coming about 10 minutes later. The burgers were filling, which explained why chips were an optional side, and definitely delivered on taste. The mighty, which I had, contained all I'd want from a burger. Price-wise, it was less than I expected from the name, and in-line with London prices. Overall, a very satisfying visit which I hope to repeat in the future.

Visited during a Thursday lunchtime, the place looked quieter than it should be, but I was greeted with a friendly member of staff and I got to choose where I could be seated. I was given several options to order, I went with the QR code on the table for convenience sake. But I’m glad the option of table service is there also. Food was AMAZING! Good tasting, juicy burger with the meat cooked to perfection, I believe it was worth the price in all honesty. Also, the portion of Sweet Potato Fries was more than I expected, which is a good thing in my books :) Would come again without a doubt. Gourmet Burger Kitchen fulfilled my burger craving for that day, and the staff made sure I was having a good time.

My partner and I stopped in for a lunch time burger on a Sunday. I was a little concerned at how empty the restaurant was, but it suited us because we wanted to avoid anywhere too noisy. We were given a table close to the window, and we noticed that all the guests were placed near the window too. I'm sure this was intended to create the illustration of popularly! We were told that there was no standard table service, so we had to order and pay at the bar, and our order would be brought to the table. The food was the usual good standard we have come to enjoy at GBK. It was perhaps a little slow, given how few tables were occupied, but everything was exactly as we ordered, hot and very tasty! It had been some time since we went into a GBK -mostly because of the pandemic- but our experience on this occasion left us feeling quite underwhelmed! Also I must add that the price for two burgers with fries and one soft drink each was pretty steep at £32.60. I do hope that GBK re-thinks their business model, or perhaps they too might disappear from the high street.

Really tasty burgers and skinny fries. Problem with the app so we just ordered at the counter. Meal deals available, but strangely not on the printed menu - have to view the online menu or notice on the wall of the restaurant. My daughter "went naked" exchanging her bun for coleslaw and salad and seemed to get a massive plateful. May consider that myself next time. Free carafes of tap water are also available, but sadly the free monkey nuts available pre-covid have gone!

No table service slowish even tho empty and overpriced for a burger...

Average food quality, ordered a few times via deliveroo and between these two poorly run companies, the last attempt resulted in no delivery aftet 74 mins wait, deliveroo clueless and offed no explanation.... As no money charged to card i suspect GBK just didnt process the order. Wouldnt risk eating from this place again.

Fantastic burgers and sides every time, really consistent. Almost went with 4 stars due to having an issue with draught beers last time but the staff resolved it so well there's just no need.

Nice enough venue but in this occasion the burger didn't really taste of anything much and I hated the skinny fries which were a hassle to eat. Staff were polite and the place was clean. Food was delivered quickly to the table. Not awful but not amazing.

It's the little things that matter... Firstly the food was nice & atmosphere ok. The problems started with the student discount not being accepted. I know everything's digital now but come on?!? You can't just flash the card at the till and get discount that way?? Please accept this as something that should be put into place. Secondly, it was just the little things that the staff should or could have done; offered sauces/salts, saying goodbye to the customers and thanking them. Little things like that really make people want to come back again.

I thought it would be nice to dine out with the family, So we all decided on GBK in Staines! My partner went up and placed the order... Mine was a burger that included BBQ relish, which I don't like so asked for without... The food turned up and even though it clearly stated on the bill (NO BBQ RELISH) there was in fact BBQ Relish inside... So had to send that back and within 5 mins another burger arrived, and this one wasn't even cooked properly and was Red/Pink inside! So that went back as well... the Supervisor after a wait of 10 mins and giving a full refund then turned round to me in a sarcastic manner and said thank you for your custom... Really not want you want to hear when everyone in our crowd had eaten and not me! Unapologetic and unprofessional staff with an attitude to boot... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH OUR SERVICE TONIGHT... I would not recommend this dining establishment to anyone, Go to McDonald's instead round the corner, better service, food & staff.... SHAME ON YOU GOURMET BURGER KITCHEN UPDATE 21/12/21 THEY ASK YOU TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM, AND THEY DONT REPLY, CLEARLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL!!

I quite like this chain, the burgers are usually cooked just right, although you can ask for them to be burnt if that's your wish, quite busy at time of visit and atmosphere was bubbly, staff good and kitchen kept up with orders.

First visit today ever, tried the vegan beyond burger and chunky frys, excellent tasty food loved every bite, friendly and helpful staff, I highly recommend this place

Had never been to GBK before but my experience was great. Staff were friendly and quick to bring out food and make sure we had everything we needed. The ordering online service was quick and easy and the facilities were perfect.

Service here is shocking. Ordered at till but waited 20 minutes for my drink. My friend had his. Yet I had to go to bar and get my own. When getting my drink the waiter was confused even though he served me. Another 20 minute wait for my meal. Again my friend received his promptly. Totally unacceptable. Burger was good. Received a free drink for the inconvenience. Overall a terrible place. Worst service I've had in years. Avoid!

The concept of using technology to order and getting condiments yourself make me wonder if this is the future. No real human interaction with staff as they just drop off the order. I could just order from Uber..sit outside. Also chips for nearly £4 is a joke! No wonder I never see people lining up for this place. Shame as food was nice.

One of the best burgers I've had from a restaurant. Medium rare, and plenty of options for veggies, vegans, "naked" burgers without bread. A lovely Swedish low alcohol IPA and excellent gelato for after.

Get the Rocket man with Penko Chicken instead of beef. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had, and I've had them all!

very poor service from server with multiple tattoos featuring a colon on his wrist not sure of his name, although believe he was management of some sort as he wore a shirt rather than a apron and branded gbk top like the other servers. he was slow, unhelpful and overall rude.I have Visited on other occasions and had no issues before with any other servers, I left gbk on this occasion very disappointed with service from his man. Good quality food though. Would definitely expect better service from management

I ordered a cheese burger for my mate and forgot to add no cheese as he is allergic!! When we found about my mistake, chef replaced another burger without any concerns. Much appreciated !! Awesome service and great staff. Love it and will keep going for more Vegan burgers 😋

Long time we didn’t have a GBK! 🍔 very clean place and friendly staff. They have the App for order or taking table order. We had two burgers and chips 🍟 and the staff gave us information about one burger 2 and chips 2 for £20 deal. My husband had a chicken burger bit of spicy 🌶, I had a beef burger called Loaded. With lemonade and vanilla shake. Very good tasty and fresh beef and chicken fried😍😬 and the car parking free after 6:00PM 😬 we spent around £28. We will comeback again!!! Really enjoyed!!

We had the most wonderful experience at GBK, the server we had was brilliant (with the semi colon on his wrist) was the most accommodating person! Kept us topped up with water, took photos for us with freshly sanitised hands and was all round a pleasure to be served by. This man deserves a raise!!!! :))))

Just had our food delivered, over £50 down the drain! Burgers could have been nice if weren't sitting in the box for ages, rest of the order fries, onion rings etc. Inedible !!! Everything was completely Cold! First and the last time ordering from here!

I enjoy their variety of burgers 🍔 sweet potato 🍠 chips and often get really good deals. Ambiance is good too. Staff is polite. Their app isn’t very efficient which is what we had to use for placing an order hence taking one star away.

Ordered a meal today to be delivered by Uber Eats. The food was inedible as it was stone cold! Rang and spoke to the assistant manager at Gourmet Burger Staines who told me that they have had numerous complaints about Uber Eats picking up more than one order resulting in cold food! Completely unacceptable. They informed me that Uber Eats have to refund me. Uber Eats say GBK have to refund me..... Avoid the delivery service as the food would have been fantastic if it was warm even..... UPDATE GBK contacted me directly and offered me a free take away as Uber Eats behaved so very badly!

FANTASTIC SERVICE! I cannot rate the staff here highly enough. In these strange times, they were incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. Thank you for making a wet and dreary Saturday night such a pleasure!

Reduced menu is a bit of a joke, the place was dead and I’m not surprised. Shame, the app they ask you to use takes a while to register on etc. Putting your custom order in is ok, or would be if the chefs looked at it.
