Best quality takeaway if had in a long time. Food was delicious, fresh & good quality. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ate here with my family as it was convenient for our hotel after a long day at Thorpe Park and what a gem of a find it was. Delicious food, in plentiful portions. Pillow soft naan breads, fluffy rice, flavourful curries with plenty of chicken. The starters were fantastic. I had the Shamee Kebab, not something I would ordinarily order but I’m glad I did. All 4 of us thought it was the best starter amongst 4 exceptional ones. The service was really friendly, too. When we are back in London for our next Thorpe Park visit, we will be paying a visit here.

My husband and I had a lovely meal , atmosphere was lovely , service was great - my husband has trouble walking and they were very accommodating. We both had a starter and main , shared rice and a naan ( neither of us have massive appetites ) Looking forward to our next meal there

Got a takeaway. Terrible food. Roti were rubbish and more like a Naan. ceylon chicken awful and alloo gobi also flavourless. Ate a few mouthfuls and threw it all in the bin. A microwave curry would have been more authentic.

Celebrating birthday at home ,food delivered by restaurant. Called in our order at 5-15 asking for delivery at 6-30 .Delivered on time everything very tasty ,our friends really enjoyed the meal .thank you Indian Ocean . .

Ordered via uber eats. Food was cold, no flavour. the only thing that tasted nice were the poppodums and dips! The paneer you cooked was out of date, when you cut into it, it wasn't white like it should be, it was brown in colour. The outside of the paneer was burnt black, absolutely disgusting! You are going to make someone very ill, feeding them gone off food like that. Not acceptable, will never order from here again. My husband is currently lying in bed with a stomach ache and I have no doubt it is because of the gone off paneer tikka masala curry sauce that he ate (I had to cut and cook paneer that I had bought because the paneer in the curry was inedible). Thanks for ruining my dinner!

Ordered a take away, item missing so phoned the restaurant. It was delivered to me straight away ! This is how customer service should be. Thanks Indian Ocean, great meal

Ive only ever had Takeaway from here but my wife has eaten there and this is now our go-to Indian Restaurant. Food is great quality, very tasty without being overpowering. Portions are very good indeed and arrive hot. Visit or order with confidence!

The food was terrible!! I spent a lot of money on this food for a celebrity birthday. Everyone said how bad the food was and a complete waist of money hence, it was all thrown away and I had to buy food elsewhere. I would like a refund for this or at least some sort of compensation.

Absolutely disgusting! both madras's the equivalent to spicy soup and got my starters and condiments completely messed up. Never again!!!!

This was my second visit and it was just as good as the first time. The food and service are of the highest quality at very reasonable prices for the standard offered.

Popped in for a solo Monday lunch. It's a family run business. Been serving customers for 15 years or so. I decided to stay on vegetarian and had the veg chilli masala (a dry dish) with a veg samosa & a chapati. Everything was served piping hot on a warmed plate & the main course had more vegetables in it than I have ever seen. There was no "grease" and it was about Madras chilli hot. Perfect. No complaints at all. The restaurant is presented well with white table cloths, napkins and each table is adorned with a red rose to add that touch of colour. A five star lunch, and a charming friendly waiter who, it turns out, is the cousin of the owner/chef. Despite my having the entire restaurant to myself for lunch, I imagine it is advertisable to reserve your table in the evenings - especially for parties.

Dine in for Valentines day. Service was great, friendly waiters. Delicious food and lovely presentation. Nice vibe in the restaurant. Quiet and we were shocked it was not super busy ad it should be. You will not be sorry. If you enjoy Indian food this is the place to be! We will definitely be back!! Sorry we did not discover it sooner.

Been to the restaurant a few times years ago always had a really good experience food wise and they were extremely friendly in the restaurant. Randomly thought about giving the takeaway a try and it’s mixed reviews, average across the board from starters to mains, probably wouldn’t order again but would try the restaurant to see if they can make up for it

The best Indian restaurant in Sunbury/Ashford area, they are so happy to be there and serve their customers. Would highly recommend going there on a Monday or Tuesday for banquet night, a lot of food for £16.99 pp.

I went to indian ocean on Monday with my partner, baby and friends. This is my favourite Indian restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and have the best customer service. I moved to the area in 2021 and have not changed my favourite Indian restaurant because they are just the best! Thank you Indian ocean for always being amazing!

Wouldn't eat anywhere else! Literally revolve my weekends around eating my vindaloo hot madras.(takeaway) Although more pricey than elsewhere, its well worth it and you're paying for quality, large meals. Staff are very polite and courteous and the shop is ridiculously clean (5star scores on the doors) a must for me. All other curry houses in this area cannot compete. Keep up the good work 👏

I had not been here for such a long time the food had a lot of flavour and the waiter was so nice

Food was excellent and portion size was very generous. We had a large group meal and almost everyone had to go boxes at the end. Staff were friendly and checked regularly on us but were not overbearing.

So this has now become my favourite Indian restaurant near to my home. The food is beautiful, tastes amazing and the customer service is fantastic. Have eaten in and out and both times spent rather a lot of money as I like lots of different dishes but I am quite fussy with my pallet and I highly recommend this restaurant…beautiful food and full of flavour and spice and your not left waiting around for long periods of time which was great.

Its a very, very clean and well designed restaurant. We had the place to ourselves on a Sunday night at 7. The staff takes very good care of you and makes the dinner all the more special this way. It was my Birthday and also my first time eating Indian and it was perfect. We had papadoms with sauces and then onion bhaji and both were lovely. I chose lamb kashmir, and it had a hint of heat but was balanced out nicely with banana and pineapple. The sauce was creamy and flavourful. The lamb was tender and moist and very nice. The rice was light and tasty and I love the colours. I will find it hard to try a different dish next time we come because this one was so delicious! We did not order dessert because we were satisfied, but the selection of desserts are tempting and will satisfy any sweet tooth.

This has to be the worst Indian restaurant in the UK. Took my family out today for a meal here and the standards in terms of food is shocking. There was a cucumber in one of the dishes I’m Indian myself and I know that is definitely laughably wrong. The food was so overpriced it was absolutely shocking never will I visit again. We paid the bill and transferred else where. They need to learn how to cook proper Indian authentic food and also teach their staff some manners. Try to avoid this place if you can there are other places worth your money trust me.

Staff were efficient and friendly. The meal was of a good standard and we not made to feel rushed to leave after we had finished.

Ordered a delivery this evening 19/06/2022. I asked the gentleman on the phone to please ensure the order would be delivered without items being missing as we have experienced this in the passed he said yes i can assure you it will all be there,Need i say any more.!!!!

Absolutely the best meal delivered in a long time.. Indian Ocen Sunbury has 100% delivered and highly recommend as the best in this area from Stanwell Moor to Brighton, OK that's a bit far but their food is really good. If its Indian food you want u must try Indian Ocean Sunbury. And I am a real customer by the way.

Tasty food however weird atmosphere as there were 6 waiters in a tiny restaurant that were constantly watching you and were in each other’s way. Felt really uncomfortable!

Food was not tasty!! We ordered basic indian veg curry(paneer masala)...It was tooooo sweet...We never seen panner gravy with coconut powder in it!! Such a disgusting way of cooking !! Didn’t reached our expectations... Not at all recommended for indian dishes.

This place used to be excellent but tried several times going here with my daughter at lunchtime which advertised as being open and the lazy owner sitting down on he’s phone several times just can’t be bothered to serve us just said rudely we’re closed! Used to be the best Indian in the county by miles. Since the new ownership it has been in steep decline. The service is good but the food is just not good enough. There was only 3 of us and they still got the order wrong. Funnily enough they still tried to charge us though for the missing items. The Balti was most definitely reheated and the Sag Aloo microwaved. I know because I'm a chef and know the difference between fresh and frozen reheated. Ive not been here for a long time and it will be a long time before I go back if at all. Its way over priced for the poor quality of food.

Fantastic Indian restaurant. Really lovely food and excellent customer service. Staff are really attentive and are so friendly and welcoming. You don’t have to book, but I would recommend booking on Friday and Saturday evenings, as this place really does fill up. Recommended.

Decided to try the chicken achari which was divine and I could handle the spice too! Can’t wait to make my way through the rest of the menu

After being let down by our usual car charger (electric car..) we had to use the one at a garage almost opposite this restaurant, as we hadn’t eaten we decided to have an impromptu Indian which we weren’t really dressed for but hey-ho! We had the door opened for us and shown to our table. We only ordered a main each, rice to share and some drinks but it was really, really nice! We were kept well attended to during our meal with polite waiters. There are toilets to the rear of the restaurant. Our bill was perfectly acceptable for what we had ordered, we both agreed we would go back.

The food is Absolutely superb, Service is great, Deliveries are always on time. I would give them a rating 10 out of 10👍

I have a very wonderful experience with staff and food so delicious. The service was so amazing it’s a great place to visit.

With great expectations, we ordered two vegetarian dishes and a lamb along with roti and naan and collected in person. Unfortunately, food was not tasty and it also affected my stomach the following morning. As the vegetarian dishes were sweet and lacked Indian authenticity, I doubt it was true Indian cuisine. Service though was good.

Couldn't fault anything about Either the meal or the brilliant service. Can't wait to sit in for a meal again 👍👍

First of all, the staff was not warm enough and felt really awkward with the way I was dealt with. Being an ex hotelier myself, I understand how much important attitude towards customers holds. Secondly after waiting for long, they handed me over someone else's food order which I realized after reaching home. They were kind enough to deliver mine in less than 10 minutes of me calling them to inform the issue. Lastly the taste of the food was okay but extremely sweet. Not just one of the dishes but most of the different dishes we ordered were not as per the expectation. Coming from the food hub of India, Delhi, and with hospitality background, I had high expectations after reading the reviews, hence gave it a shot. Two star ratings are just for one of their employees who was quite warm and was the saving grace of this restaurant.

Ordered our first delivery this evening. Food turned up exactly on time and piping hot. We had set meal for two which was delicious and in honesty, too much food to finish! This is now my new local Indian! Great value for money. Maybe next time we'll eat in.

Hadn’t eaten here for a good while now as it suddenly went down hill but did used to be nice! So thought we’d try again as it has now changed hands. The staff were friendly and the bear nice and chilled, but the food was not very nice at all. Had a lamb shashlik. The meat was over cooked and very dry and far to rich in flavour. To much of something in the marinade?? My colleague had exactly the same but with chicken and said it wasn’t great!! Was offered a complementary drink on the house once paid.

Fancied a change from the usual cheap and cheerful 'two pot' - where everything comes either in brown or red sauces - indian restaurants and so we chose the Indian Ocean. We'd been there a couple of years previously when it had been very good.Delighted to say we were not disappointed this time; from the friendly welcome and prompt service, to the excellent food. Service was very good and the dishes were well presented and delicious.It's not the cheapest restaurant around by any means but it is one of the best, in our experience. Loved it.

The restaurant was very clean and nice however the food was quite bland and prices slightly higher than you would expect. £10 for a main dish and £3-4 for the rice. Maybe I'm a bit tight. Staff was respectful however unattentive and 100mph. 3/5 starts

Slow service. "Hot" food was mild, if that. All the food very samey with the same flavour, or lack of.

After giving this restaurant a good review, unfortunately I have changed my mind. My husband visited the restaurant and ordered a takeaway. The restaurant was empty and we live just around the corner. My meal was stone cold. I ate it as I was hungry. I then rang the restaurant and was told I could order again, no use to me. He then said that next time we ordered to let them know to get a free meal. Well sorry I won’t be visiting again.

Everything I've had has been super delicious!

I have visited Indian Ocean on numerous occasions in the last few years, most recently this evening. The service is always friendly and efficient. Despite being a very busy Saturday tonight, the servers were always smiling and attentive. The food was hot and delicious and served promptly. I was even offered a complimentary drink which I took advantage of this time. Well done guys, keep up the good work! Thank you very much.

We really enjoy eating here. They have a wide menu and the food is always fabulous. The service is always wonderful. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming.

Very disappointing evening, normally good but a friend had a SNAIL in his meal! They didnt make him pay for his meal but the rest of the group couldn't eat the rest due to it. (We got 50% off food- not sure that's enough) Friend also had to put up with snail jokes for the rest of the evening..

Off late the quality is going down so this is a recommendation to up their game , have enjoyed their nice preparation for years Ordered Paneer dish , size of planner was like. Square Biscuit , most rubbery paneer I ever had and sweet tikka masala , the quantity of serving is usually good but with too much sauce with less meat . Even mutton was not the usual standard !!!The Nan were also probably reheated , won’t go back unless see improvements in the reviews
