Very good restaurant that offers delicious ramen. We tasted the house specialty ramen shoryu ramen with a very rich broth. The service is done quickly and the waiters are very pleasant. We will return if we have the opportunity.

Poor welcome - told gruffly to wait outside despite there being tables which were In the process of being cleaned (slowly). Their version of chicken ramen is deep-fried, sinewy chicken in broth with all the usual stuff.- turning a relatively healthy dish into something pretty unappealing. Not clear anywhere the chicken is deep fried and the relatively rude service has little in common with Japan.

A wonderful way to finish a date. Delicious food and drink (highly recommend the rice tea). Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Fixed service charge so no worrying about what to tip!

Wow, that was the best ramen I've eaten! I had vegan ramen with tofu and broccoli. The broth was also very good! The staff were all very friendly and the service was very good. We spontaneously got a seat at lunchtime.

Absolute 🔥 Really good tasting ramen just don’t order the cucumber starter LOL it was just cucumber with salt. So save your money. OTHER THAN THAT bomb ramen. Will be returning

Delicious bowls of ramen and bao buns in central London! Vegan/veggie options. Service was also good. We got the £20 express lunch deal which included a bun, ramen & drink!

Great ramen spot to try in the heart of the city. I opted for the spicy tuna ramen and it was delicious. I also paired it with a lychee martini that was refreshing.

An excellent and fairly priced restaurant. Management are professional and communicative. Our waitress was Kerice and she was wonderful, as were all the other staff. The steak was excellent, and one of our party very much enjoyed the veg & fish options too. We will go again.

It's a house specializing in ramen and, if I'm not mistaken, it has three units in London. In addition to the ramen, there was a starter and also a poke (ultra fresh ingredients).

Spontaneously got a table for 2, food came incredibly quickly, vegan ramen was wonderful, lively atmosphere, friendly & accommodating

Lunch visit with family. Great attentive service & food. Relaxed atmosphere. Cocktails were exceptional. We ordered from the pre theatre menu, plus some share plates.

Impressed when I walked in and saw the fire pit. 3 people (2 adult, 18yo). Wine selection was good and not too aggressively priced. Ordered the largest cut of ribeye on the menu 48oz, told to expect 7/8oz of bone and a 30 minute wait. As there was a an expected delay ordered the charred bread and brisket croquettes, both perfectly pleasant. Bottle of Barolo, and a mocktail. Started to notice a very unreasonable amateur food critic next to us (although he was very annoying, I’m frustrated to admit he mad a few valid points). Mains took over an hour and 20 minutes. With the beef coming out stone cold and nowhere near the 40-41oz of suggested yield. My partner, son, and I even left hungry. Bernaise congealed and cold Garlic butter solid and not melted Chips seasoned well and hot, although left on the table while the steak was reheated on the grill. Then we get to the service, on the team’s defence, you can’t blame them for wanting to avoid the man who complained about everything, but due to him, the waiting staff didn’t come to explain to spend any time waiting on us. This resulted in us being neglected, with our wine long finished. Wanted to complain, but wasn’t really given the option. Asked for service to be removed. Wouldn’t be back in a hurry.

Food is great! The Ramen is so good I drank all the broth. I don't like the QR code ordering system but we had to use it as it took quite long for someone to ask if we were ready to order. Some of the tables are also very close together so not only you can hear people's conversations, if they speak loudly you can reeaaaally hear it.

Sophie’s is a great place for a cocktail , the bar is vibrant, Then you smell the meat cooking on the open pit , a great smell . But there it ends , Cold plates , cold broccoli, cold steaks , undercooked steaks , steaks not rested sitting in blood , I hope on January 4 th this will be my worse meal of the year , Steak one came raw and cold , steak 2 came half the size , cold and raw , sat in a blood gushing out , Chef to arrogant to use a temperature probe , We gave up left hungry, so disappointed, cocktails were excellent

Walking customers, have to wait even for an acknowledged by staff, delay and slow service as there was not enough staff I guess. Food was good and nice portions for a central city position and touristy area. Affordable prices and no rip off. However you need to find a waiter for order your food or you can you use barcode for ordering.

We’ve visited Sophie’s many times over the years since it was established at this location. The food and environment remains excellent, and quality of service continues to be high. My steak was cooked to perfection. However, after a few years now there is a need to refresh some of the decor, the padding in my seat was gone so I was sitting in a hole, and the seats on the toilets were peeling apart. There are only minor things, but are the difference between 4 or 5 stars.

Best Ramen in London!!! Amazing atmosphere, and the food was super delicious. Better to book a table in advance or you can manage to sit without booking but need to wait in line, but totally worth it!!

Service was good, the food came fast. The ramen was delicious. One of the toilet cells wasn’t working which was annoying and caused a line.

Beware of the 12.5% "optional" forced service fee. The waiter did not ask anything and just added it to my total bill, which I realised once I had already paid (and made me go over my company allowance). Otherwise the food was alright (I had gyozas - too salty - and shrimps tempura - good) was nothing special and the red Merlot was excellent. A real shame for the appalling practice from the waiter.

Acceptable ramen but indecent staff..I asked several times the difference between different ramens and they never answered me. I asked if I could have a slice of lemon since the natural water they brought us had a bad taste (it was from the sink) but they told me they had run out of lemon... but they brought it to the table next to mine. I will never go back again

Optimal We had the grilled ravioli and a ramen each. Everything is truly delicious. Must try. Good prices for London average. We spent £49 on two ramen, a 6 portion of ravioli and a water. I recommend booking on thefork otherwise there is a short wait.

Ordered the vegetarian ramen. You can choose the firmness of the ramen. There are sesame seeds that you can grind onto your ramen, as well as spicy sesame oil and fresh garlic. Broth was ok. Tofu was not marinated, soft (except the skin). Overall good experience. Price was ok too.

Really bad service. I ordered with a waiter. They kept me waiting for more than 20 minutes and said that they didn’t put my order into the system. I have stayed in London for more than one year and this is the first time this thing happened to me again. They even didn’t apologize for that. I feel that I wasn’t respected. Won’t come here anymore

This is my second time that i have been here and grate experience again with every aspects. I have tried chicken katsu curry ramen and it was awesome spiciness and taste. The portion is very satisfying as well. I also liked the takoyakis however needs to be filled with more octopus pieces.

Lovely dinner! We did overall enjoyed our dinner! The place is quite nice with a lovely athletic feel of the place & they have Japanese toilets which is quite exciting in London ! The staff was lovely but our server wasn’t very knowledgeable, the second server we had was much much better which was a lady! The prices are an avarage for London with quite decent portions. They have delays of you come for dinner earlier or on certain day which is nice! The buns were ok and the rest of the food was a bit nicer, but not mind blowing or extremely exquisite. Overall would recommend as a quick dinner as they were quite speedy with the service.

We ordered some gyozas and a ramen each, we chose one classic and one spicy and the truth is that both were very good. Portions are large and service is fast.

The ramen was quite good and a good quantity, for 13/14 pounds in the heart of London it is quite well priced, I ordered the piri piri ramen and it was quite spicy, for those who like spicy I recommend it, the gyozas are also very good.

Honestly, the best Ramen I’ve ever indulged in. Would 100% return.

The vegan miso/soy spicy ramen was SO good! I was holding on for every bite! I wish they had veggie gyozas as that would have been so nice on the side, but the only option was meat based.

Nunca había estado allí, pero las primeras impresiones fueron que el área de la cocina abierta estaba tan ahumada que quemaba los ojos y el banco del sofá que constituía la mitad de nuestros asientos para nuestra mesa estaba cubierto de migas de pan, comida y vino de comidas anteriores. The takoyakis were perfect! I had miso wafu chicken and it was very good, the only downside is that the ramen was missing a little more vegetables. Very well located restaurant.

I showed up 2 hours before my actual reservation but they were kind enough to seat my party and I early downstairs. The food was very fresh and didn’t feel heavy after we finished.

Very good restaurant. I have been there several times during my trips to London. I highly recommend it. The prices are low and the service quality. The quantity on the plates is correct. Do not hesitate to come on site to reserve your table several hours in advance. The internet reservation system does not work well, however. I will come back without hesitation.

Wouldn’t recommend. Was very disappointed! The food was cold and my ramen had no broth (assuming it sat out for a long time). Everything was incredibly salty, the nori was stale and it was overall horrible. Do not recommend.

Good was okay but nothing special. Service was laking, the staff didnt answer the questions we asked well. And we had to ask for some of our items several times. My friend recieved her order about 10min after everyone else.

Ramen shop in London Soho…long Q in a rainy Oct evening

Came here two days ago with one of my best friends and I ordered the Miso Wafu Chicken. It was DELICIOUS! Super exquisite with super rich and warm ramen broth! and the karaage chicken were crispy outside and juicy inside! Combined with iced matcha latte, it warms my heart amidst the cold, rainy London that time.

Friendly staff, but the food is just okay. You can either order and pay with the QR code from your table or order with a server. We were seated in an area where every table was super close to the next one, so everyone could hear every conversation. The service was quick and efficient, and they even offered a bib to protect white clothes from the ramen. 12.5% service charge already included. Edit: We both had severe stomach pains after eating last night.

The ramen in here is great. However, eating in wasn't great. The table was all sticky, the menus all tatty, the soap dispenser in the toilet was empty. Also, the specific area where we were sat was really much too hot. Seems they have some problems with the air conditioning. Would really expect a much nicer environment given the price and quality of the food.

Loved it!! It's my first time trying ramen. I got their classic pork belly one. Tasted absolutely amazing. I was also able to witness japanese toilet 😅 with numerous buttons. Never seen one.

Dinner stop day 1 in London. Pretty meaty broth with tons of flavor, garlic and ginger. Generous char siu portions and they allow you to order your noodles done to your liking (which while common in Japan, way less common in the US). PS - Monday was bun day. We ordered 2 pork buns which had a lot of potential if made and delivered to the table fresh but the ones we got were not so not great.

We booked with the fork and we had a great experience. The gyoza were really tasteful and so was the ramen. Highly recommended.

First time tasting ramen-style food, not bad

We had a very good meal here. The son was surprised that Piri Piri is really that hot. :-) Prices correspond to the "London standard", but you get very good food! However, the 12.5% ​​tip is one of the highest we have paid compared to other restaurants.

It was good but not as good as i thought it was going to be. I got the ramen and curry special, the ramen soup was lighter than expected and had a strong seaweed flavour, there was just not enough pork belly for the curry to carry it, just maybe 4 thin slices.
