Honest Burgers in City of London, Westminster

Surprisingly good price for being right in central London. Highly recommend the bacon flavoured gravy. Don't knock it till you try it!

Hits the spot time and time again. Well cooked and tasty dinner with mates. Staff fantastic as always and whipped up cocktails to sort us all out for the night. Always have to try the ‘local’ burger!

Feels like a nice little dive bar, NYC style. There were no onion rings available but as usual the chicken wings were really good

Portions are small but the taste is good. We don't expect good service in London anyway :)

Delicious food, polite staff, warm atmosphere. Been to Honest Burgers countless times and I'm always wanting to go back. Ordered a smashed burger along with rosemary salted chips and seasonal coleslaw. Staff were quick to take my order even on a Friday lunchtime when the restaurant was packed. The food itself was delicious and you could tell that it had been prepared to order. Chips were well seasoned and cooked to order, the smashed burger melted in mouth and all in all it was a great lunch. I was seated at the bar and the atmosphere was great - Good music, friendly staff and a well maintained/ clean and tidy Honest Burgers restaurant. Would certainly recommend.

We tried the burgers in a fairly large room they have on the ground floor. We really liked the two we tried and we would also highlight the rosemary fries. In short, highly recommended.

It's an honest burger. Great burgers (beef, chicken & veggie) OK beer/cider selection. This one has a quite large cellar seating area, so don't worry if it at first appears full. (Although it may be on busy times like Thursday lunchtime) While nice inside, it's effectively in a back alley, so the outside seats are not in a great environment.

Vegan burger meat was amazing. The vegan coleslaw was okay - very small though… The buns were average. The chips dry. Not sure I would go out of my way to do again.

The food was amazing but the information on the menu was misleading we thought you could order another side and it would still come with chips but it didn’t another very alarming thing is my friend is gluten free and asked for a gluten free bread and payed extra yet the chicken came coated in gluten crumb and they wouldn’t do anything about it the overall price was expensive

The hamburger is of the quality we desire. It is delicious. Beer or wine goes well with it.

Great branch of a good chain of burger restaurants. It is off the main drag, down a traffic-free alley, and you can easily miss it. My burger and chips were delicious - cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and efficient.

Typical Honest Burger. Food very good and service was good. I've marked it down because our bill was wrong and we were overcharged.

Cripsy and well seasoned fries, a tasty vegetarian fritter burger (thanks to George for the recommendation and the chat!) and a refreshing homemade lemonade. Add to that great music and a chilled vibe. Perfect!

I popped in for lunch with a friend for lunch. The staff are professional and polite and the foot was decent. We sat at the bar which was quite novel and relaxing. The chilli burger was filling but not bloating

We had the amazing Christmas Burger. Super juicy with lots of flavour. The wine was lovely also and the service and atmosphere great. We sat at the bar so was a more casual feel. Great location just tucked away near Bank station. Recommend and will return!

Food is always fantastic - the burgers are cooked beautifully, and the rosemary fries that come with them are delicious. They do a mint lemonade which is to die for too. The service was fabulous - the gentleman who greeted me at the door was really friendly and courteous. I had a case with me, as I was travelling for work, and he kindly carried it downstairs for me and stored it away, so I didn't have to worry about it during my meal. All the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Would definitely visit this branch again!

It was super super busy and we had to wait in a crowded hallway for a table. However the hostess kept us informed and got us a table as soon as she could. Once we were seated the service was prompt and the food was quick and served hot. I would definitely go back but downstairs is very noisy

Wow what are lovely experience a Bank honest burger. From the minute that we walked in Klouws was to our service. He was so friendly and polite and took our order in good time. Although the restaurant was busy Klouws never showed a minute of stress. As someone who has had a career in hospitality in the past, what a skill this is to have. Will definitely be returning, what a lovely dining experience. Thank you so much Klouws!

I recently visited Honest Burger, and I must say, their beef burgers are absolutely fantastic! The taste was incredible, and I highly recommend trying them out. I'll definitely be returning for more!

Family dinner. Service excellent. The waiters are very kind. I think the best bacon cheeseburgers that I've ever eaten. My parents said that too. Highly recommended.

Finally found a good place in the center with good burgers!

Unfortunately a lot of things went wrong. We arrived at 21:00 and they already closed downstairs so we needed to sit on a high chair. Then they didn’t have chicken tender, we ordered chicken wings and onion rings, and a side of the spicy beef gravy. The chips arrived uncooked and it was a very small portion. The Bank burger was not spicy at all and our waitress forgot to send the spicy version (we asked her again and she said they run out so probably that’s why the burger was not spicy). The sides arrived when we finished our mains (after 10-15 mins). Overall we expected more.

The honest burger was a work of art. It even made me like caramelised onions!

It's so nice to have a burger and not worry about the gluten. Being a ceoliac is really tough when eating out but this was a perfect experience. Knowledgeable service staff, didn't look at you like you had 3 heads when asking about gluten. Service quick. Foot delicious. Well done honest burger

We went to Honest Burger on Friday evening and had a really lovely meal. We chose different burgers and all were absolutely delicious. And there's no other place that does rosemary fries as Honest Burger does! In terms of cuisine and ambiance, it was really lovely. The only reason I don't put a 5-star is because the service could have been a bit better: our waiter seemed to have been in a bad mood that night, which can happen to any of us, but they acted a bit rudely for the rest of the service, and that kind of spoiled our meal a little bit.

The server wearing glasses is a legend. I'm sorry I should have asked for your name for this review. But I hope the company sees this and appreciates you appropriately. Had an overtly racist experience with a guy in a queue. The server recognised this, consoled me, and insisted upon my order being on the house. This is all during a weekday lunch time and he was extremely busy, most -if not all- servers would have ignored it or acted like they didn't see it. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, legend!

This was a great find for me. The reviews speak volumes already but a whole meal costs around £13 without a drink. It had a really nice casual atmosphere to it and the burgers were incredible. I also love the fact they ask how you want the burger too (I recommend medium).

Food is well priced for the location and the quality of meat is good. But the toilets are filthy and I cannot even guess what the hygiene in the rear of the kitchen (hidden) part is like. Edit: My initial review might have been a bit harsh regarding the quality of the kitchen and I must add the staff do use hygienic cleaning practices around the restaurant. If they could just renovate the toilets it would be ideal. My concern is mainly around the filth that is transmitted from the toilets to the restaurant because of the state it is in (both from the customers and staff).

We’re always very happy with the food at Honest Burgers, especially as my wife is coeliac and the gluten free burgers are very good. Unfortunately when we visited this branch the other day the service was quite slow – the drinks arrived only just before our burgers, so we were waiting quite a long time without anything! And then at the end they said student discounts don’t apply to alcoholic drinks – but when I checked the website later because I didn’t think this was right I saw that we should have had a discount on the drinks too. So it was a bit disappointing compared to what we normally expect from Honest Burgers. The staff were friendly though and it wasn’t a bad experience.

mexican burger was delicious, good menu and atmosphere

Overrated in my opinion. I had the chilli burger and not much heat or flavour. The patty itself was dry and disappointing. The service was good and a nice lunchtime vibe. Not sure I’d rush back though.

Food was a little bit slow but was consistent with honest burgers quality!

Decided to go for the classic burger. I found the patty sightly underseasoned however it was still pink and juicy. The star however were the rosemary fries. One of the best fries I've ever had in my life.

Food was excellent, like other branches. And they were good with our special requests. When we arrived we had to sit at a high bar or outside, there wasn't proper tables inside (I think you can sit at them later), so it wasn't great with my older parents and difficult to talk to each other as we were all in a line. Had to go up to get the bill because we couldn't get the staffs attention. But Al of that is minor points, in general I'd recommend this place (but go later if you want a proper table).

Rosemary fries. Not much left to add or say, except, order the fries! I had the smash burger and it was yummy! If you're a fan of flavoured beef patties. Try this. If you're a fan of gherkins done exceptionally, try this. *gherkins are dressed in dill and wholegrain mustard mix - beautifully seasoned. We've eaten at plenty of places for burgers before, this was one of the best I've had. The person who recommended and joined me, had been before, and was coming back yet again. Very nicely done. Thank you, we will be back.

Ottimo locale per un buon hamburger, scelta non ampissima ma che può soddisfare tutti i palati, vegani compresi. Servizio nella norma, ambiente molto informale con tavoli lunghi condivisi con altri clienti. Prezzi non esattamente bassissimi, ma accettabili per un buon hamburger.

While the place is famous for their burgers, which are brilliant, I love the Rosemary chips! They are the most amazing. Club it with the house Lager which is the best Kolsch I have had after Koln, Germany.

I stopped here for dinner tonight and had such a pleasant experience. The woman working behind the bar (I don't know her name - but she had on a black top and jeans and she had dark, long hair I think) greeted every single person/group that walked in. She was so lovely and welcoming and polite. No one had to wait to be greeted. She said hello and explained that they could sit wherever they liked and that there was lots more seating downstairs. I sat down at the bar since I came by myself. She immediately brought me a menu as well as a flyer with the local special and the monthly special on it. A few minutes later she came and took my order. Honestly the service could not have been better. And I've always liked the food at Honest Burger. There was a pamphlet on the bar about how Honest Burger is moving over to regenerative farming and moving away from industrial farming. I _really_ appreciate this sort of stuff. It's the right change to make (rather than that whole carbon net-zero thing which is a total cop-out in my opinion). I think that reading through that pamphlet definitely made me more likely to choose Honest Burger in the future when I'm looking for somewhere convenient to eat and have multiple options. The food was delicious as always. Thanks for a great evening!

This is the third Honest Burgers venue we’ve visited, but so far this is far the best. The food and the service were excellent. The place was fully booked but waiters made everything to accommodate three of us as soon as possible and at absolutely great spot! Well done Honest Burgers, we’ll come back!

Popped in for lunch with some colleagues. We were served by Lucy who was lovely from start to finish. Despite being very busy she always had a smile. Did have a bit of a long wait for food but to be expected at lunch.

If you come to London, it is mandatory to eat a burger at Honest burger.

Ordered on line as the restaurant won't seat 4. We all enjoyed our meals. My chicken pesto was perfectly cooked. The fries were good. Salad was okay, it came with the meal. My son had the buffalo chicken sandwich. He enjoyed it. When we walked in there was no one inside. The exterior was packed full of pinters having their drinks.

This is a very nice location for lunchtime burger feast!

Good because it's an Honest Burger but a very strange layout and location. If you happen to be in the area it's a good option but not if you're with a big group or would have to be making a trip to get there. Accessible seating is very limited. Friendly and helpful staff though, couldn't fault the service.
