Absolutely ridiculous decision to use this great restaurant. Whoever made this decision is mad, no restaurants anywhere near this one and always packed. Crazy decision Sad to have a final meal there tonight.

A wonderful restaurant and staff that are being closed down . Due to’the business needs’ I have been a customer here for years and I am saddened by the news of the rusty closure

We had a lovely family meal for my mum's birthday. The food was delicious and served promptly by 'Will' who was very friendly and knowledgeable. So gutted to see it's being closed down after being there for so many years. We had such a nice time, really sad to see it go.

Had a lovely family meal here today. Good burgers , steaks and salads ) Our server, Jane was lovely. Would highly recommend for lunch. I cannot believe they are closing. We visit regularly and we will very much miss this place.

Food was ok, service a bit slow, bit overpriced but with a meerkat 25% off was about the right price. Won't be missed when it closes to the public

I am absolutely shocked to learn the restaurant is closing to the public on the 4/7/2024, and then it will be only open to premier inn hotel guests for breakfast and then dinner. It's such a shame as many of the staff are being made redundant with no jobs to go to. As a family, we have had many meals here, and the food has always been great. The staff are always very helpful and polite, in particular Will, who is a regular member staff, nothing is too much for him and we really do think he deserves some recognition for all his hard and dedicated work.

Will was absolutely amazing with helping us out with service just as great as he has every time we visited. It will be sad not to see him and the team anymore as we used to visit at least every month as we loved the experience there.

Poor quality food cold not cooked from fresh. Very disappointed.

Visited today for breakfast with my family, wow what a choice! Definitely best I've had and the price was amazing too.as soon as we entered a lovely server welcomed us(didn't get her name) she explained the menu and was very attentive and lovely!! We will be back every day if we could, I will be recommending Rusty Cutter to friends and family to go!

Went here for breakfast, has browns were rock solid, bacon was under cooked and the croissants looked like they were just dumped on the table. I have been to beef eaters before for breakfast and it is beautiful and well priced, I would not go here for breakfast again

Only thing I don't like is if your gluten free don't give you many options on menu and smaller meals than if your not

Good, basic 'Beefeater' food. The maitre D went out his way to find (and then clear) a table for me. Appreciate the effort.

A wonderful night out with good quality food at great value and exceptional service by Will. We always enjoy our meals here.

We were looked after by Will who made sure we had everything we needed & went above & beyond. Its a real shame this is one that's closing, the food is really good.

Celebrating a special birthday at the Rusty Cutter. We know the food will be good as will the service. Will, our server, was superb.

Very noisy and food was okay but not especially tasty or well presented x my lasagne was barely warm and mostly tomato sauce x garlic bread tasteless but side salad was nice

Had the fillet steak, the best 👌 absolutely fell apart.

We only used for breakfast with premier Inn our diet of vegan and gluten free was well catered for and the staff were excellent

Will our server is always so polite and has been for many years. He looked after us for probably the last time today. Its a real shame that this beefeater is going and its sad on thise that will lose their jobs. No doubt all Wills regular guests will wish him the best in the future.

The meal was great as was the service and atmosphere, but I did hear that whitebread the brewery is thinking of closing it down,which we don't want as it's a great place to eat.

Lovely meal at the Rustycutter this evening. Fillet steak and chunky chips - delicious! Washed down with some amazing cocktails. The kids menu is really affordable too. Our waitress Lisa was really friendly and went out of her way to make it a really enjoyable evening. Thank you, Lisa! xxx

Me and my husband went to the rusty cutter in bedhampton last night and it was a lovely atmosphere. Will was our waiter and will was very helpful. Great customer service skills from will. Want to thank will for last night very helpful

Great food and friendly service with plenty of parking

From the moment I entered the restaurant it reminded me of when I was last a happy man. The atmosphere was exquisite and I was quickly seated at my table. The selection on the menu was vast and I was quickly given a drink and left to browse the food available. After given my selection to Will, he left and it was is if I blinked; my food arrived almost instantly at my table. The steak was medium rare, just as I ordered. And the food was perfect . I wish I could give it more stars, but the extra star is already at the restaurant. His name is Will.

First class service from Will. He knew his menu inside out . Very polite service too.

We had a meal here as first choice stopped serving at 1930. It's a beef eater so usual menu. Waiter was Billy who was very good

Just had a great time at the Rusty Cutter. Waitress and Manager went out of their way to interact with my 2 year old Granddaughter. The food was very good as was the beer all in all a very pleasurable experience for my family and myself. Highly recommended when dining with the family. My grateful thanks to the Manager and his staff.

Had the chicken roast!! As recommended by waiter Will. Absolutely terrible raw roast potatoes and veg with pink chicken. When I complained the waiter Will got very stroppy and snatched my plate and the dirty knife and fork fell on my coat. Food quality is below par. If I could give 0 stars I would and the manager didn’t have the decency to come and see what the problem was! BAD FOOD AND BAD SERVICE.

We were served by Lee He was very busy but so attentive to our needs and food came quick. He made us feel relaxed Food was tasty. Hubby says ribs were a little dry though

So we went there today and we really loved it. The whole experience from the entrance till we left was amazing. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They checked on us all the time to make sure we were fine. We had unlimited breakfast and was so much food and very well cooked exactly how we wanted it. You can also get unlimited drinks as coffee and juice. The coffee was so good, I may add. After food, my husband had some pancakes and fruits. The whole breakfast is well worth the money. Very pleased customer here, and we will soon be back. Highly recommended and 5* for them.

Monday lunch. New special lunch menu had plenty of choice. We chose the burger and the smothered chicken with big chips. The food was good and the service friendly and efficient. Definitely impressed

Can't even make a booking. Tried to make one online but was unable to, so I called up and was greeted by a automated server which couldn't understand what I wanted. Tried 4 times and kept giving me the wrong time and wrong amount of people

Been here a few times recently. To sum up quickly, this place is one of my favourite chain eateries. Food is always hot, well cooked and always delicious. Service is fast, attentive and friendly. The menu here does all the classics, including steaks, chicken, ribs, burgers and plenty more. I have been to plenty of similar places like this, including Harvester and I prefer this place. As with a lot of these type of places, the prices vary depending on the time you visit. Week days will generally be cheaper to visit than the weekend. Overall, a good value, decent food chain which I would recommend. This particular one is great, however I have heard you might not get the same experience in another Beefeater.

Quick and pleasant service. Will was lovely and attentive throughout the evening. The food was lovely. All in all, we had a lovely evening.

We had a lovely relaxing evening without feeling rushed to order food. We had chicken goujon starter, fish and chips and ribs which were very tasty. Great service from Will who looked after us for the evening.

First time here. The food was amazing! Perfect kids menu, and the main and puds were delicious. Service was a little slow because it was Saturday evening. Our server Lisa was really lovely, and interacted well with our 4yo. Thank you! Will defo come back?

Been for breakfast twice now and just have to say the second time was not enjoyable as the first. I left most of my food sorry to say.

Evening music a bit loud, otherwise fine.

Ordered food wasn't told of anything they didn't have so when my meal came with out something I was surprised. They did serve after 9 oclock so that was good. Steak was blue in my top 3 of being cooked perfect.

Waited hour and half after ordering. 4 adults 4 children. 3 out of 4 adults meals sent back. Never again!!

My waiter will and his soon were so polite and nothing was too much as I have three kids warmed up my bottle of milk for my baby no problem good with conversation would definitely recommend the beef eater

Lee, our waiter was friendly and efficient. A friend was visiting from the USA and a traditional Sunday roast was required! As it was Easter Sunday, we couldn't book at the local pub but in a way that worked out for the best! Great food, plentiful portions, and superb value for money, add in easy parking, and it was a win!

Had the rib eye steak my son had the fillet steak cooked to perfection Lisa our waitress was really friendly and helpful and bonus we had 40% off our main will def go back

Food was a bit overcooked and for the increased price, hard pressed to say it was value for money. Being a non-smoker, I detest having to enter or exit an establishment and either have to hold my breath or have a disgusting gulp of thirdhand smoke from being caught off guard. Why do smokers have to congregate at any entrance? Surely they can be away from the entrance/door?

We stayed in March in the hotel and ate in the restaurant .Lynn kerr in the hotel was especially nice. I messed up the booking. We went to Horndean by mistake the receptionist there was unhelpful. But Lynn went over and above to assist us She's a good example of customer service All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly We will be back

Very disappointing after so many good experiences. 2 parts of the meal were completely wrong. Quality of the food has gone down. Chicken was disgusting. Asked if the brownie was warmed up. Was told it was but it hadn't been so the texture was just awful. Waitress couldn't be bothered to find dessert spoons so we were given soup spoons. The thing that annoyed me the most was ordering a pint of orange juice and lemonade. Having the oj and lemonade brought to the table separately for me to have to mix at the table. They were aware of what it was supposed to be because they brought me another glass. Well of course the lemonade was going to end up over the table. Won't bother wasting my money here. It's not the same as it used to be.

Cannot complain about anything other than the horrid, tatty bench seating in the restaurant area. Something really needs to be done about these. Really poor show. I gather Head Office have been alerted to the problem and have done nothing !!

Visited on Sunday evening for our Daughter’s birthday, food was good however the service was great! Our server, Will, was so knowledgeable about the menu, friendly guy and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you for the small gift for the birthday girl, it was a lovely touch! Big thanks also to Sam who, despite not being assigned to our table, was also very attentive and happy to help! Great customer service in a fun, family friendly atmosphere!

A visit here after a visit to London. First visit for over twenty years. Wasn’t disappointed, first class service from our server Will, plentiful food and sensibly priced. Can’t believe I’ve stayed away for so long. Very impressed

This place is great I prefer the bacon and sausages they are made perfectly I'm obsessed with this place breakfast is the perfect time to come here so good not many people so quite and peaceful nice for dates such a beautiful place so clean and the snacks are yummy and they have great service 🥰🥰🥰

How can anywhere cook and present chicken and chips so badly? A half chicken appeared anaemic in colour and tough and dry as an ‘old bird’. And not cheap either….£16. Come on chef, make an effort!

Got seated really quick, The staff was incredibly nice (Will our waiter) he was a lovely waiter and was really helpful. Food came out swiftly and was amazing. Same with the desserts.

Very popular friendly staff , good food

Our server, Sam, was amazing from the offset and throughout. She took the time to really engage with our children, especially the youngest one. Even when we had settled the bill and ready to leave, she took the time to make our children feel special and listened to them tell her they were off on holiday to Disney. I work in the hospitality sector myself and I wish there were more people like Sam in the industry.

We go most Friday mornings, £10 a head all you can eat breakfast, always been a joy, decent food, fantastic staff , sam being an absolute gem , so friendly and helpful , all the staff being fantastic , but we always seem to spend time talking and being catered by Sam mostly 👌👌

Well what can I say, Mother’s Day ruined 😡 my daughter her partner and 2 babies took me for what we thought would be a nice meal. We placed our starters and main and wer waiting and waiting finally after about 45 mins starters came out which wer not how they wer described at all. For our mains we had roast dinner which said included honey roast parsnips and stuffing which neither of us had and where not told they weren’t available. The broccoli stems were scarce, gravy was couple of teaspoons full. I told the waiter and he just said sorry about that 🤷‍♀️. We then ordered dessert which we asked will the apple pie and custard be hot yes was the reply. Almost an hr later dessert arrived yes you guessed it ice cold. We had enough by then so sent them back and said will just have the bill thanks. That took another 15 mins. We definitely won’t be returning and will be emailing the company with our complaint .

Had a mixed grill, for £20 it was the same as you would find in any pub for alot less. We did intend to have a roast but at 5pm they didn't do them which wasn't listed anywhere, bit disappointing. The service was good but I'd not pick to go in general.
