Kim was brilliant today - thank you for a lovely meal!

Kim from Miller & Carter was kind and accommodating, thank you so much for taking care of us during our dinner, we are looking forward to your lovely accommodation on our next visit!

Came here for a boxing day set menu, and it's in a lovely, cosy setting and it was made up all Christmassy, which was nice. Starters were phenomenal, and the desert was brilliant too. I have to say I wasn't overwhelmed with the steak. However, I am conscious I had a set menu steak and not the more expensive usual menu steak. The steak was really good, but I had higher hopes for steak specialists. That said, I will def come to try their actual steak menu another time for sure as overall the food was really nice and the steak came with lots of extras. I was absolutely stuffed. Staff were really lovely. Our server, in particular, was a gem! Once the main lunch rush was over, service got quicker, which is totally to be expected. They do some fantastic alcohol free cocktails here and a few non/low alcoholic beers as well as the usual selection of alcoholic stuff. Top marks for the non alcoholic cocktail! The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the toilets were a bit gross today, but there were lots of younger kids present. I would recommend it!

Kim looked after us for our Christmas dinner and was superb, could not do enough to make sure we where happy and all was ok. Food was great, good atmosphere and a very enjoyable family Christmas Day meal.

We booked a pre Christmas meal for 13. The staff were very well organised - everyone got the right order and the food was very nice. Our waitress Fran was excellent- very helpful and friendly. Would definitely book again!

Just had a lovely birthday lunch at miller & carter brighton. Food & cocktails were nice, Kim the waitress was friendly and attentive, thanks Kim.

Kim treated us perfectly and was polite and helpful throughout.

My family and I had a lovely evening out at the miller and carter SteakHouse. The food was great with my son saying it was the best cheese and bacon burger he had ever had but what made the evening stand out was our fun, personable and dedicated waitress, Fran. She made us feel so welcome and seemed genuinely interested in us as people.

Excellent food and service by Jemima. We were delighted with our food (ribs and a cod dish and poached pears for dessert).the resturant has a sophisticated ambiance and staff were very welcoming and professional. I wasn’t sure if Miller and Carter’s star was waning but it clearly isn’t in the Brighton branch that’s for sure.

What an outstanding venue. We were served by Kim and her service was 6*. Nothing was too much trouble and she even sorted a birthday plate for my 8 year old son, and treated us all so so well. The food was superb and the 3 course Prix fixe lunch has a wide range of options.

Ellie - absolutely delightful. Made us feel so welcome, a great laugh and so accommodating.

The service provided Jemima was excellent, very friendly and was always smiling. Lily on the Grill must be complimented on the food as it tasted great and all the food served was hot, which was enjoyed greatly.

I would like to thank everyone at Miller and Carter for a great time dining out for the evening. I'd like to thank Fran, our waiter for her caring and helpful service. I'd also like to thank my friend Calum for my starter of calamari, which, in my opinion was of the high standard the best would expect and I couldn't have been happier eating my calamari, which I loved. I never had any doubt he'd be and is the best for his job. I'd also like to give a shout out to Lily, Amy on the mains, Aaron on the side dishes, George and Ali on desserts and David on pot wash for all of their incredibly nice, great and faultless food we were given. I'd also like to praise everyone in general for clearly working hard and at their best, including Lola who I also know a small amount and can imagine she is an outstanding asset to Miller and Carter. It was a brilliant evening dining where my friend works, it is a very nice place in every way you can think of. It was simply faultless.

When we arrived we were a little disappointed to have had to wait 8 minutes when there was no queue and no one to greet us. We then did not receive any apology. The waitress we had Monica was however just wonderful. Polite, helpful, chatty everything you would hope for so thank you Monica. The food was great as always.

Fantastic evening and really lovely food. We were served by Jemima last night and she was so attentive. Jemima made sure we were happy, explained a couple of things that we weren’t sure of and always had a smile on her face. Would recommend a visit for sure!

Was a good stop with amazing starters. Speaking from a business travellers' point of view. The main staff were all over place and certainly not bothered about enhancing the customer experience.

Liv was a great waitress, polite and very friendly. Food was great and steak was reasonably priced, although the chef was a little heavy handed on the salt. Parking could be an issue if it’s crowded with multiple families.

Room was cold, shower was cold and food was cold. No towels in the room had to request in the restaurant and was a rigmarole. Staff were helpful to rectify after the fact. Brighton generally is really poor unless you are spending £250+ a night 🤷‍♂️

Mixed feelings about M&C. The service was excellent, Cody was a lovely character, bubbly, friendly and happy to help. The food wasn't so great. The steak was as tough as old boots and it's not exactly the cheapest place so to get a below par steak isn't great. Probably wouldn't go back as there are better steak houses out there.

I came here for the Sunday Roast Sharing Platter, which did not dissapoint! All the meat was cooked perfectly (thanks grill chef Amy) and the mash potato was a real treat. Friendly, prompt service by Jemima. I will definatley be coming back.

The food was lovely, although we did have to send our steak back due to being overcooked. This wasn’t problem and we had a new steak within minutes to my liking. Kim our waitress for the evening was amazing, attending to our every need and checking in that we were happy.
