Miller and Carter in Dartford

I made a reservation weeks in advance, but upon arrival, I had to wait 30 minutes for my table. The bar staff were rude, and when I tried to sit in the bar area, I was told it was all reserved, leaving me standing around. Some of the food was cold, but I didn’t bother saying anything since the waiter was too busy chatting with the table next to us to notice we needed help. This isn’t my first visit, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before, but after this, I won’t be returning. They completely ruined my Mother’s Day meal.

Julie was a brilliant waitress 10/10 service and wonderful food.

My daughter’s 40th birthday was celebrated with friends and family, Julie was a fantastic server, nothing was too much trouble. Food was great.

Went for mother's day and despite how busy it was we received superb service from Elizabeth and had a fantastic meal.

Just got home from a lovely dinner with my husband and children. Our waitress Darcie was very friendly and attentive. The steaks were brilliant and the sharing dessert was amazing!! Thank you for a wonderful evening! :)

We went for a birthday meal tonight 29/03/25 . Amazing from start to finish , the lady waitress was so welcoming too . Just forgotten her name ! Definitately will be going back .

We had a lovely meal here and Julie was an absolute legend she is a testament to your company proper class service 😉 go on girl! My autistic sister in law didn’t know what to order and she talked her through the menu and ensured she had a fandabbydozey time please ensure that her efforts are recognised she is an absolute belta!

Rob was our server, he has such an infectiously happy personality and made us instantly welcomed! Pulling up a chair and being on our level while taking our order made a really nice touch! And our mini magic show at the end really made our night (we came very late so the restaurant was emptying) Even is the food wasn’t as amazing as it was he would have made us come back! What an amazing guy!

The food was amazing as always, with a great selection of drinks. Rob was our server and made us feel comfortable leaving a gap in between courses, we didn't feel rushed at all even though we came in later in the evening. Rob is incredibly friendly and came down to our level taking a pew at our table while taking our orders, which is a nice and unique manourism!

The food was absolutely amazing I recommended all my family to go and they love it .The waiter finn was absolute delight would suggest that you ask for him if you come.

Had an amazing time at Miller & Carter Dartford, and honestly, a big part of that was down to Jack. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, charming, and attentive. He had great recommendations, the perfect timing when checking in, and just the right amount of cheeky banter to keep things fun. Service with a smile is one thing, but Jack takes it to another level. If you’re heading to Miller & Carter, do yourself a favor and hope he’s your waiter. Five stars, and maybe a little extra if I could!

We had the butchers block sharing board for £75. Absolutely delicious! It had four steaks, bone marrow, choice of sauce, choice of potato, onion loaf, tomatoes, and a salad wedge. The service was excellent, and so were the cocktails. For starters, my hubby had baked mushrooms and I had scallops which were yummy.

We went here for the first time for our son's birthday after hearing good reviews but we were very disappointed. The chips was cold, the ribs had hardly any meat on them & the lamb was a very small portion. My husband enjoyed his steak though. The waitress was very nice but the restaurant was freezing cold as we were by the doors. Definitely not value for money.

Five stars, no doubt! M&C Dartford is such a cosy, warm and welcoming restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and staff are very friendly and professional. Personal shout-out to Honey, who's made our recent visit feel even more special and relaxed. Since I discovered M&C Dartford, it's been my top favourite restaurant! Thank you so much guys!

How can you be missing items within an actual meal?!! It's bad enough having a missing meal but potato gratin missing from the Lamb meal and a tapenade missing from the sea bass meal. Come on this is expensive food and not difficult to get right. Not impressed.

Have to give a HUGE shout out to Rob what a gent such a great waiter he should but you aim all your waiters to be like, even did some amazing table magic if this man is not recognised it is a travesty he is the biggest credit to your business

Rob our waiter at Dartford was amazing. Lovely guy, excellent service - even gave us a magic trick! And a bloomin' good one - close up magic and most impressive I've seen. Best service we've had ever and made the whole experience feel special. Food was great too.

Whilst initially we had an awful time as a family decided to bring 3 children all under the age of 4 screaming constantly Aimee after explaining I have bi polar disorder and photosensitive dyslexia and that the noise was making it hard to concentrate she immediately went out of her way to make sure we could be moved to a less hostile environment. Her service was excellent however when we were moved to Robert it just went downhill he went from table to table making sure everyone else was fine and if I'm honest some people after he left looked a bit uncomfortable as he would sit at their table and overstay his welcome. Yet we were being completely ignored our starter plates were still there when our main meal arrived and because I pointed out certain things we had experienced at other miller and carter as we go alot he made a comment of oh is There anything else I forgot! You don't say that to a customer. He also told someone on another table it's safe to drink gum spirits at a tablespoon everyday as a healt nut and Google even I know that drinking it is toxic!! Please have a word with Robert Aimee was brilliant 5***** for her alone

Today we went for a birthday we will never go back the whole experience was supposed to be fantastic for our daughter however our server Robert was awful. Such ashame as it completely ruined the whole evening he seems to be very over the top with larger tables and completely dismiss those having a small family event. Especially as today we were also trying to get over exactly one year since my mother in law passed away. He ruined the entire night shame on you. Especially the comments you made that were quite rude when you realise you had been called out!

Whilst Aimee Was absolutely brilliant Robert was cringe beyond belief learing over people whilst Taking their orders it was just making people feel uncomfortable. Even after he left people would look up at each other and say or feel that’s a bit weird certainly not what you’d expect are you high class restaurant like that?

There is a guy called Robert that made our night, from serving food to the table to entertaining us. What a great man. Definitely coming back to Dartford restaurant.

Elizabeth was excellent, very helpful and attentive including entertaining conversation with our 9 yr old who was deciding over menu choices and struggling to choose. Food delivered at a good pace, no rush on orders or eating and a clean environment.

It was a nice restaurant, great atmosphere and a happy bunch of staff, laughing and joking where you don’t see much nowadays! They are friendly, polite and helpful. The reason why I didn’t give it top marks is because when your eating, they normally come up and say “how is everything” not one came up too us. It’s no biggy though! I would come back to this restaurant when I pass there! Great location, easy access to the M25!

Got seated at a table that was very cramped, asked our server “Julie” if we could move and it was no bother to her. As it was my birthday we all had a glass of fizz as a complimentary treat. The system is awful and had to remind Julie that the cost had been added. And needed to be taken off. Meal was fantastic, hot when served and came at the right pace. Julie was very attentive, and was a fantastic host. Very chatty and very friendly too. Well done to her, she is a credit to the company.

Been going here for years as I live on Fleet Estate. Always decent food; a little pricey unless you take advantage of offers but ultimately worth it for a good meal out.
