Wonderful service..Great steaks .... very helpful about allergens... Decoration is in need of update ...not much ambience ...feels very pub like. For such high quality food it's the only thing that let's it down ...

Far too long waiting for the meal after ordering, 55 minutes

Despite having to wait 30minutes for our booked table we were able to enjoy a drink in the bar area and were given free drinks with our meal to compensate for the wait, which was much appreciated. Our waitress Katrina was helpful and attentive and looked after us very well. A very enjoyable meal to celebrate our grandson’s 15th birthday

Lovely meal, great food, reasonably priced on the Sunday set menu. Great service also. However the evening was ruined slightly by an extremely loud and rude couple who continued to complain despite the staff going above and beyond to assist them. Handled very professionally by the staff who should be proud of themselves 🙌

Amazing food as always. It was really busy but the staff were still friendly, courteous and professional.

We visited Saturday night as expected it was busy, however expectedly it was extremely noisy. My wife ordered a 30 day Sirlion steak at £33 cooked medium rare, unfortunately the ends were cooked medium rare but all the middle was very rare. My wife did ask the waiter to re cook the steak that was left but when it came back it was still rare. By which time my wife had lost interest in the meal and did not finish the steak and was extremely disappointed. I alao odered a chicken breast burger with cheese. The cheese was melted all iver the plate and hardly anything on the burger. To say we spent £213 we feel we will never bring friends out with us on Saturday night here again. We felt that due to the business of service and the food was of poor quality and rushed.

Service was great, we had a very friendly lady serving our table. We ordered two burgers and seasbass. Seabass was perfect, however burgers were overcooked, dry with had no flavor. Same with the starter of scallops, overcooked. Drinks were fine. Again, service was good.

Service always excellent , waiting and bar staff. Sadly we experienced an issue with our steak order and had to return them. It was quickly rectified but in our opinion the food was not up to the usual standard. We mentioned this to the front of house and the lady was understanding and did give us a 20% discount from our bill. We would still revisit in the future

We really enjoyed our first visit to Miller and Carter steakhouse for my son's birthday. Most of us had the rump steaks which were cooked beautifully and my daughter had the chicken burger which was so moist and tender. For me the lettuce wedge didn't really add anything to the meal but then I'm no expert! Our server Katarina was lovely and tried her best to maintain our comfort levels when we expressed that we were a bit chilly. Brownies were nice for dessert and drinks not overly expensive. All in all a lovely evening.

This was our first time here and although a little costly, the food was beautiful. My husband had a T-Bone steak and I had a chicken burger. The staff were really good and the young woman who served us really knew the menu and made recommendations.

Fabulous experience, the food was phenomenal - steaks prepared by Dany. Service was above and beyond my expectations - CeeJ was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely go back.

Never been, came in today for the lunch set menu. Absolutely spot on. CJay our server was very friendly. Will be back in a few weeks to tackle the proper menu (and maybe the t-bone!)

Food pleasant. Friendly waiter. However. Table booked at 3pm main courses arrived at 4:20pm Mix up with starters. Wrong desert presented. Bill provided with a La carte pricing some £30 greater than the set menu ordered. So no major issue but multiple gripes that had to be chased and spoilt the occasion.

There arn't many restaurants that I've been to that I can honestly say it's been 100% faultless from start to finish but on our anniversary it was spot on from start to finish from being greeted at the entrance to paying the bill at the end, the menu was the rare treat at £26.50 for 3 courses but they had a special on which you could change too and we are very pleased we did, prawns and soup for starters then a rack of lamb each and then a trio of cheesecakes to finish. Absolutely perfect plus we were gifted a couple of drinks for our anniversary What a wonderful night Thankyou all involved Our servers were perfect too well done

CJ served us today, polite, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Great with our daughter, and fantastic customer service throughout our stay for our lunchtime meal today. Highly recommended such a gem x

Dined in at Miller and Carter Stakehouse 04.01.24 PM and we would happily return in a heart beat! Great atmosphere and the food and drinks (especially the Disaronno Blush) were to die for! Great service throughout by our waiter Adam, very welcoming and kept us refreshed throughout! Thank you for a great date night!

The food was good when it eventually arrived. I was a little incredulous when the manager explained that our main course not arriving an hour and a half after entering the restaurant was to be expected. Customer service was poor, we won't be going back. Shame, because the steak was really quite good.

Had a lovely meal at Miller and Carter for New Year’s Eve. Service from Jarka was impeccable, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. Attentive and very accommodating. Food and cocktails were good quality!

We visited this venue for the first time for Christmas lunch and it was perfect! The food and service was excellent - we will definitely be booking again for next year and will be back again soon! Lovely cosy venue - we usually go to centertainment, but found this venue much more fitting for Christmas Day. Our only fault is that we were sat near the kitchen area with the door constantly banging, people walking past all of the time and it was quite cold - when raising this we were quickly moved to a much more suitable area, we only wish we had done this prior to our starter, but it didn’t spoil the day. Huge thank you to you all for making Christmas Day wonderful!

One of the best Christmas dinners I have ever had. The food was exceptional, along with the service. The atmosphere was lovely. Definitely paid to go early as it was extremely busy as we left at 2.30.

The food was some of the better quality (see edit below for an update) I've had eating out. With this being a franchise I didn't expect any miracles but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Edit: We returned for the Christmas menu as we had for the meal in the review above and I'm afraid to report the standards were significantly below the standards they had set previously. Things have changed for the worse, there was less food and it wasn't as well prepared. I suspect cost saving decisions have been made or a change of staff. Whatever has happened, it definitely backfired.

Great service, really went the extra mile, quality steak , sauces and sides, perfectly cooked and a lovely atmosphere. Very festive for Christmas.

The first time I've been. It was a Christmas party with work colleagues. Food was good quality, I had vegetable wellington as I'm vegetarian. It was good, vegetables served perfectly. No faults at all. Prices high, particularly the drinks. The venue was nice, lots of tables. The staff were very attentive.

Our party of 6 had various meals, my wife & I had the Christmas Dinner, the brussels sprouts & carrots were under cooked, the parsnips were over cooked, the gravy was like brown water, the meal was lukewarm & it was served on a cold plate, the Christmas Pudding was also lukewarm & the custard was cold. When the bill was paid I used vouchers to the value of £100 but I then noticed that my deposit of £60 was omitted from the bill of £250.90

Thank you for such a lovely meal last night to celebrate a birthday, couldn't fault the service especially CJ, who was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing and CJ had many reccomendations, which were lovely as well. Thanks for a great night, hope to see you again soon!

We booked a table for 2 at 6pm we waited 45 minutes until I asked how long our table were going to be as we’d been waiting 45 minutes and multiple people got seated after coming in after us. When I said about this he apologised and said he would get us complimentary drink but when I got the bill at the end I still had to pay for them. We was waiting a while for a waiter to take our food order however he were lovely. The steak was nice however it was undercooked, I asked for medium rare and it came rate, I still ate it as it took a while to come after the starter which the starter were lovely.

Wife visited for her Christmas works do, food well below par, why use sub standard ingredients for a Christmas menu.

Restaurant was very quiet but we took a while to be seated, we weren’t sure if we needed to head to the bar or stand near the entrance, finally the waiter came over, he was friendly and took our order promptly. Our drinks were also served quickly by a very friendly and accommodating bar person. We ordered the festive feast menu, we both had the cheesy mushrooms starter which were ok (sauce quite runny) but nice enough. The main my husband ordered the rib eye which came out cooked to perfection. I unfortunately ordered the rump, I wanted it medium, it came out very well done, I sent it back to be remade medium like I had asked and it then came out very rare, I was asked if I wanted this popping back on the grill but my husband had already finished his meal and I was hungry so I just ate the sides. Fresh chips were brought out for me but my sauce was freezing cold. They also decided to put up a picture during service not far from our table which they were having a lot of difficulty with, so we could just hear loud banging for the majority of our experience. I had crème brûlée for pudding which was lovely, but I did come away feeling disappointed and still hungry! The waiter did take the steak off the bill without me even mentioning it, so that was a positive at least. Unfortunately not a very good festive experience and I came away wanting a decent steak!

My wife and I visited here for an evening meal. We had a very nice bottle of Sancerre wine. My wife had the prawn cocktail to start whilst I had the Chipotle chicken. Which were both very very nice. My wife had the sirloin for her main and I had the rack of ribs. All the food was of the highest quality and the service I must say was exceptional. We can definitely recommend, the only issue we had is my wife ordered beef dripping sauce but she received peppercorn. I am still giving it a five star though as it thoroughly deserves it.

Came here with friends to celebrate my birthday and had the best time! The food made by TC, Trysh, and Aleem was outstanding, the drinks made by Jack and Tony were all amazing, and service by Jarka was brilliant! Will definitely be coming again! :)

The food is delicious. The organisation and customer service on this visit was very disappointing, after waiting for the table when lead to it to find it was not ready, and asked asked to wait in the bar where we could not get served as we waited. staff didn't acknowledge we were waiting.

Had the sea bass and itvwas overcooked very dry.

We booked as a special birthday meal for our sons 10th birthday. The service was not good. Very slow and then they forgot the adults desserts so the kids had finished and ours hadn’t arrived. We had a 5pm table and didn’t leave until 8pm which just shows how slow service was!

I was there with my mom for her birthday last week, and I couldn't fault a single thing. Shout out to Kat who looked after us so well, with polite professionalism and genuine care! My fillet was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. Definitely the place to be on a special occasion, thank you!

Great food, service and atmosphere. It is a shame that the main car park at the rear of the building is unlit. If we hadn't had our phone torches available, it would have been dangerous finding our way back to our car safely.

Table booked for 7.45 we sat down at 8.30 starters arrived quite quickly main meal arrived at 9.35 by this time we were passed eating the t bone steak I ordered had a not nice taste to it like it was old meat all the people in the restaurant were complaining about the time it was taking I use m and c at eccleshall rd quite often but never been treated like this I didn’t think anything was great apart from the waitress who was fantastic

Booked for a celebratory family gathering. There was 12 of us on a Saturday afternoon. We were happy with the area we were seated in. The majority of us ordered from the lunchtime menu which had a good variety of food options and really great value for money. Food was tasty and well presented. Our Server CJ was friendly and attentive. Had a brilliant time, highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Has heard lots of positive things about Miller & Carter, when my partner said she didn't think she'd ever had a proper steak this seemed the perfect birthday treat. And so it proved, the whole experience was first class, the steak was excellent cooked to our individual requirements and the accompaniments were really good. Our server, Tamsin, was brilliant, bright and cheery, plus knowledgeable with every recommendation being spot on, big thanks for pointing us to the beef dripping steak sauce. Always great. We love the Miller and Carter food at all restaurants. However the service and ambience at Parkhead is the best of the 6 or 7 other branches we have been to.
