Dirty Bones Oxford in Oxford

I’ve eaten here a few times and they never disappoint when it comes to treating myself to some comfort food. Nice lounge-y atmosphere with excellent service and the food is always tasty. I must give a shout out to Raff as he’s served me a couple of times and he’s always on his A game. :)

Food was great, however we were tucked away on a table around the corner and which meant we didn't get the best service!

Disappointing Experience at Dirty Bones Oxford I recently dined at Bad Bones and, unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The food was absolutely disgusting—undercooked and lacking any flavor whatsoever. It’s hard to believe that a restaurant could serve such poorly prepared dishes. On a positive note, the service from the waitstaff was excellent. They were attentive and professional, which made the experience slightly better. However, it’s a shame that the kitchen couldn’t deliver on the food. I expected much more, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Had a fantastic meal here for my partners birthday! Our server Zach was helpful and went above and beyond to make it special for my partners birthday. Couldn’t go wrong with the £12 fast fix deal as well. Will definitely be back!

Went here for some dinner with the family to celebrate my husbands birthday. We thought we would try the restaurant as the menu looked nice and not too far from our hotel. The kids menu and food was lovely. Nice choice for the kids and at a reasonable price. The main meals were very tasty but tiny. We found we could of eaten 2 burgers each. My husband had the mac daddy burger and I had the chicken burger. Mine was really delicious, just wish it was bigger. Quite expensive for the size of the burger as well. We ended up getting a pizza from a shop on the way home as we were still hungry Delicious food but very small portions

Great service, more than reasonable prices and most importantly, great food. The fried chicken was insanely moist and delicious. This is a must visit when you're in Oxford looking for a bite to eat!

Shout out to Luca at Dirty Bones in Oxford! He provided excellent service with a smile. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. We enjoyed our meal and the service was top-notch.

Had a great little meal of 2 apps. The cheeseburger gyozas were crispy and a nice mix of sweet and savory, rich and crunchy. (Would be great if they had an extra spicy sauce as an option) The staff were all friendly and the service was excellent. My sever Rafaelli /Raff was super friendly and fast and clearly knows food :). Thanks for a lovely dinner!

First time visit. Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Decor inside is nice. Chicken and waffles were nice, as was the wagyu burger. Table water offered straigjt away which is good. Buffalo fries sounded great on the menu but were a bit average and a let down when they arrived.

First time visiting Oxford and Dirty Bones but I definitely would go again. Really nice staff, quality cooked food and good menu. I booked in advance which was relatively easy to do online. The restaurant wasn't overly busy and we were seated within seconds of walking in. Food came out quickly and cannot praise enough. BBQ corn was something I'd never tried before and it was seriously something else! Would definitely recommend if in the area.

Excellent service from Raff and the rest of the team. Food was top tier with generous portions for a well priced menu.

The food was good and the service received was first rate! :) Rafael brought good vibes and energy as my server and seems to embody the theme! (The Mutts Nuts was a good accent off of the traditional old fashioned. Recommended!)

From the moment we entered we felt so welcome, all the staff were super friendly especially our server Raff, he went above and beyond for us and gave us some great recommendations. My partner got tater tots with pulled beef which were to die for!

Great ambience and food but several items missed from our order. Problem resolved quickly though.

Went for a quick bite and it was perfect. The service was quick and our waiter Luca was so friendly and helpful. Prices are quite reasonable as well. Definitely recommend their weekend brunch.

Cozy resto managed by Italians running the show, service was a bit slow since the staff were busy with other duties, burger and chick waffle were ok, nothing special, portions were small, ges coz we just came from the States..."bare to the bones" is a better name...

Even I can't say that is worthy a star , start with the place, nice, after let's say that the service is very slow , nobody ask you nothing, like you don't exist , with 10 customers in all the restaurant , passing to the food , chips fine , not great , just fine, the wagyu burger a disaster, the look is not even close from photos , and the onion caramelised it s hard like a rock , you just broke you theeth in them , so better go to McDonald's, it s cheaper.

All round very good although I thought were very small portions for the price.. very tasty but small not great value for money.

I came here for lunch with my wife on Christmas Eve for my birthday. The food was amazing but the main reason I’m writing this review is for our server who was called Tobi. His service was first class and he went above and beyond to make sure our lunch was a special occasion. So many people write reviews when they’ve had a negative experience but don’t often take the time to pay thanks for good service. Tobi is a credit to this restaurant and should be congratulated. Thank you again.

We went to Dirty Bones first for my husband bday and 2nd with my son and his mate. Both times were served by Raff. Raff was really warm and easy and made our time there great. Dirty Bones Oxford is now our fave place 😊
