Dirty Bones Oxford in Oxford

We dropped in for pre-show burgers. I ordered the wagyu tang burger. Did I just get lucky? I'll have to find out when I return. This was THE best burger I have ever tasted. Nice char on the outside, moist inside. Perfectly cooked, beefy as! The cheese on the burger was very good. I was shocked at just how good it was. Only one small gripe, small fries. There should be double what we received. Cocktails were v good. Corn ribs were very tasty. Deserts were sugar overload! Really good for a treat. Service was perfectly acceptable 👍. I have to give 5 stars as the burger was THAT good.

Average to poor. Slow service, crispy chicken wasn’t crispy, frickles barely coated, chicken mayo tasted of chemical, 57 sauce tasted of oily tomato puree, burger requested no tomato came with tomato, kids crudités miniscule. Only good parts, the flavour of the chicken was decent and the fries were good as was the beer. Paid and left, was never checked in, or asked for any feedback. 10% service charge but of a joke. Staff seemed uninterested. Can’t recommend.

Beautiful burgers but massively disappointed by Dirty Bones Oxford who have removed their amazing Lamb Fries from the menu!! The most flavoursome, tasty and filling Lamb Fries has been removed and replaced by mediocre buffalo chicken fries. The chicken was small and mostly just crispy breadcrumbs. I recommend this venue to so many people from friends, family and business colleagues telling them to try the Lamb Fries!! Disappointed by the team trying to be fancy and try new things and they get rid of one of the most popular sides on the menu. I hope you bring these back!

Took my teenage son for lunch here. Warm welcome, lovely decor, good music, excellent service and the food is so good. Cant wait to go back.

Had a nice lunch here today. Reasonable price, good service, staff friendly like to give a shout out to Simon our table server. We will return again for lunch.

Fantastic spot we came across on a whim. We were told there was a 20 minute wait so took the opportunity to try some cocktails, which were perfectly made by Lucas, who was a great character to talk to. We were sat down within the 20 minutes and had our order taken within another 5. The starters came out nice and quick, and we were surprised by the popcorn frickles, which were delicious! The mains did take a little time to come out, but we were at peak Saturday dinner time, but the food was worth the wait. We will be returning here whenever we are back in Oxford to try other items from the menu!

Portions too small for what they cost. Welcoming staff, very nice location Not a typical English pub, more American.

Absolutely sublime lunchtime meal(especially the corn ribs), great food, great price and brilliant service by Jason. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

It's was my wife's 40 th so we went shopping and had some lunch, from the moment we walked in to the moment we letter our waiter (Raff i believe) was great, the food looked fantastic and tasted unreal. They surprised us with a dessert, which we shared, and I really wish I had known about this place so many years ago. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Flat steak was to die for. Nice ambience, friendly staff. We had steak and lamb ribs on a sunday lunch (6th of October), very busy, nice atmosphere. Friendly italians supervisors, love them all of course. Will come back for sure.

Went out for dinner with my family. It was a lovely evening and Raff our waiter was amazing.

Celebrated my fiancé’s birthday here on a busy Saturday evening but the staff were so friendly and attentive! Managed to squeeze us in earlier than our reservation time, bar staff made special off menu drinks for the birthday boy, waitress Guilia was so friendly and took good care of us all evening! Most importantly the food was amazing! Will definitely be returning!

I haven't tasted genuinely beautiful flavours in so long, the passion fruit sorbet at the end was to die for, and our server Yasmin was so kind. It was a fantastic experience, will definitely be back.

Sure this place is great but we traveled on the understanding they would be open as advertised (11:0pm). Arrived 9:00pm and were turned away. 😔

The food was great and the service was absolutely amazing. So attentive but not overpowering. We had Jason look after us and he was exemplary. The atmosphere was buzzy but not too loud. We had visited here after been left to wait at another restaurant for 25 mins without any one taking an order so we were very grateful to be looked after and fed!

Overall, they serve enjoyable food. Dirty ceasar salad, lamb fries & chicken wings are always a hit whenever I'm here. Everything else I've tried is also tasty but could be better. Like the lamb ribs have been extremely fatty on multiple occasions, and my most recent order of hoisin duck was quite dry and made my tacos rather chewy. Would still recommend trying it out, and I'd go back but would surely cherry pick.

Was our first time eating in at Dirty Bones. Had a great experience, the staff were very friendly and quick to help you with your order. Raff helped us and answered the questions we had. He was very friendly, patient, lovely personality and made sure we didn’t have any allergies. The food arrived super quick and exactly like we ordered. Would definitely go again or order in! Two things though, - Table was super sticky, not dirty just very sticky - Mens restrooms were out of service

Food is decent, and the service was absolutely amazing. We were a 16 people group, and Olivia was being absolutely lovely and patient all the time, including the moment when we were struggling to spilt the bill. I would definitely recommend here, and in particular, her wonderful service

What a find this was! Totally had no plan of coming here but I am so glad we did. Food was amazing, service was brilliant and friendly and they were very accommodating with my partner who can be quite a picky eater and the place was just a lovely vibe. We both had burgers and could highly recommend the classic burger or the mac daddy as they were beautiful. Love the creativity of the house cocktails but sadly didn't have the chance to try any of them. Can't fault this place in any way, brilliant!

Manager rude, terrible service and my burger was tiny and watery with no taste. Mc Donalds is better! My girlfriend had a tiny tasteless salad and I had to take off the service charge obviously. They are lucky I didn’t just walk out half way through as worst meal I have had out anywhere.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Dirty Bones in Oxford. The service was brilliant, friendly and attentive staff but not overbearing. The food was delicious - frickles (fried pickles) to start then the lunch deal of a burger and side for £12. My husband had a chicken burger and I had the vegan burger. Big portions and absolutely delicious- the best burger and fries I’ve eaten out!

Food was delicious, seriously good. We all enjoyed our meals (except one peice of chicken being pink in the centre 😬😬 but we’ll look past it!!) Service style does need a looking at, we didn’t get a check-back or asked about additional drinks or desserts even (server wasn’t busy either, Izzie W what’s going on?!!!) overall lovely night but little things stopped me from further stars. service was dreadful, not looked after and left for over 20 minutes waiting in between being finishing our meal and then to be cleared and an additional wait time, asking if we wanted anything else, not busy at all so no excuse. our waitress was rude and pushy as if trying to make us leave. only one good thing to say was a young lady who cleared our table after waiting 20+ minutes who seemed to be quite new. food was amazing, as we have visited frequently this was a complete let down

After long walk me and my friends decided to have early dinner on this place. How can I say? It was an amazing experience. Dirty Bones has very scrumptious burger. I tried the one with Mac and cheese and my friend had the one with lasagna. Both of them were very tasty. And the Chicken Wings!! OMG!! Great!! The Winner!! Ambience is good, I love the sink at the toilet actually. And Izzy, she was the one who served us. She knows what she needs to recommend and she didn’t fail. Absolutely fantastic evening for my son's 25th birthday! We turned up without booking on a Thursday evening and Raff was really welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout the evening. Superb food which we ordered far too much of and lovely cocktails together with a complimentary shot and dessert for the birthday boy made it an evening to remember!
