The best restaurants serving American food in West Midlands

Widowed, elderly I often pop into the Foley Arms in Malvern where I have until today felt comfortable about having a meal & a drink on my own. Not any more. My lunch today was rudely interrupted by an outburst from behind the bar - a female loudly shouting from behind the bar and startling clients in the restaurant that she 'wouldn't go down to the cellar in this shxx hole' . Customer on next table said she didn't feel like staying. Undaunted I finished my meal and on leaving had a word with the female in question who first of all denied it was her, then admitted it was, refused to apologise & when I asked for the Manager told me she WAS the manager !

Staff are so unwelcoming and uninterested from the moment you walk in. We ordered chicken sand which and a tuna one. Thankfully I watched as they were prepared as she used the same knife to cut both in half without even at least wiping it. I am allergic to tuna fish so had I not seen This it would have been awful. Kids should not be running these places.

All burgers available as Vegan, Veggie and meaty? I didn’t believe it could be done but my vegan Rueben was stunning. It took me ages to decide and we had the poor barman running backwards and forwards to the kitchen to keep checking if things were really vegan and yep! most things were. Great place, even on a quiet afternoon they did themselves proud.

It was a quiet Sunday and we needed to grab something easy before going to the cinema. I was feeling pretty greedy and chose the Katsu Chicken Rice Box and the cheesy fries. I have to admit I was surprised. I was not expecting such good quality. It came out really quick and tasted great. However, be warned there is only a small amount of seating inside. I'm definitely, 100% going back for more. It was very, very good.

Grolsch was off very cloudy and tasted bad ,not the barmaids fault and she did offer me an alternative just very bad management or useless bar cellarman, management must think people are idiots selling beer that was clearly off thinking people are too stupid to notice,keg beer is so simple to keep so please don't insult my intelligence by telling me you didn't realise,shame nice place just totally useless management

Rude, useless, unfriendly staff. Went in store to use two vouchers from Burger King customer support after a previous bad experience. The small, hairy, chubby, middle-aged man behind the till was immediately rude and just said "We don't do them here, they're not on the till". When I said that they are vouchers from customer support and Burger King themselves have said that the vouchers can be used at any store, he just kept saying "Yeah we don't do them". A middle-aged blonde woman (potentially the manager) stormed over from the kitchen with a very unfriendly and rude attitude and put the code through the till, the man then muttered something under his breathe. As we had two vouchers, I asked for the drinks to which he said that it's policy from head office that only one voucher can be used per phone. Once again, I said that this goes against the T&Cs of the vouchers, what Burger King themselves have told us, and that didn't actually make any sense to which the rude blonde woman replied by shouting at us from the kitchen! We came in and were friendly and polite throughout so why did those two members of staff feel the need to lie and treat us so poorly, it just put everyone in a bad mood and has caused us to contact head office. At their age they should know some life skills of how to communicate with other people, or perhaps they just felt the need to be miserable and on a power-trip that day. We gave up with the horrible customer service and went to the other Burger King in Shrewsbury (in Bayston Hill) where the staff were really friendly, helpful, and the food was cooked fresh for us.

Nice Burger with decent amount of well cooked chips. Cons: They have sachet mayo and ketchup which is not the easiest to deal with.

Really innept staff had no way of dealing with someone with a verbal disability and made a total hash of my order.

The chicken royals and nuggets were massively over cooked. My burger was tasteless. Given it was late I wouldn’t have thought it would be over cooked

It was undercooked fries was like cardboard box

Lovely lunch and service, ladies toilets could do with a clean though guys 🙂

I just wanna say a massive thank you to the worker Blessing who was a big help to me and my family when we came in to place an order such excellence service we need all employees at this franchise to follow her exapmle. Will definitely be coming back here again. i
