Grolsch was off very cloudy and tasted bad ,not the barmaids fault and she did offer me an alternative just very bad management or useless bar cellarman, management must think people are idiots selling beer that was clearly off thinking people are too stupid to notice,keg beer is so simple to keep so please don't insult my intelligence by telling me you didn't realise,shame nice place just totally useless management

OK so it was 2 weeks after payday, it was very quite, however service wise from bar staff to doorman was excellent. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food. Nice function room upstairs fir those planning a celebration. Smoking area in the court yard out back.

Came in on a Friday night, no atmosphere. Staff are nice but there were ants on the bar and in one of our drinks (we sent it back and got a new one). They do not understand the meaning of two for one cocktails. They say they are two for one but we got charged ~£28 for four cocktails (£7.90 each). We asked the bar staff whether the cocktails are two for one, they said yes, but the menu reads “WE OFFER A TWO-4-ONE SAME COCKTAIL ANYTIME FOR £14, BUT LOOK OUT FOR OUR HAPPY HOUR DEALS WHICH GO AS LOW AS £10 FOR SAME COCKTAIL ON 2-4-1 BASIS”. Forgive me if I’m wrong, but my understanding of two for one is you get TWO cocktails for the price of ONE. So if all of their cocktails are ~£7 then you should get TWO cocktails for £7?? So they should either charge the proper price for two for one or just don’t say you do it when you clearly don’t! Will not be coming back, and do not recommend for people looking for two for one deals!! Cocktails weren’t even that great either.

We went here for a birthday party on a Saturday night and all in all not impressed. The coke/lemonade mixers for drinks were flat, staff were told and sent someone to fix but did not work. Got fed up of saying about how flat it was. Advertise cocktails but they don't tell you if your in the basement part cocktails aren't served there, even though they had the shakers/strainers on the side ready to use. The decor of the room was not up to scratch either with wallpaper starting to come off and holes in roof to wire being exposed heading from 'DJ booth' to speakers. Would advise if you book this place make sure not to get the basement level.

Interesting to use this place to warm me up for when I visit holiday resorts abroad.

We had a brilliant private party in the large room upstairs. The sound system rocked ...and so did the bar staff!

Not a lot good can be said, the seat pads were filthy, staff don't have a clue & they tout 241 cocktails - well when they are charging £13.99 for cocktails it's not actually 241 is it - it's called inflated pricing under that guise. Every other bar is charging in the £6-£7 for the same cocktails! Avoid avoid avoid! RIP OFF. Plus they tout Covid protocols - all our staff will be wearing masks - really which ones because NO ONE WAS.

Disappointing. Could be a really nice place but unfortunately just overpriced with an obvious cocktail menu and no room for manoeuvre on drink selection for something a bit more excited.

DO NOT VISIT! Overpriced cocktails, rude and clumsy staff. I had a drink thrown all over me by the clumsy waitress and no compensation offer, no free drink nothing. All I was told was “accidents happen” even though this was not my fault!!! Fuming.

We are two friends that dropped in late on a Saturday night for drinks we found the drinks were amazing and the staff fantastic friendly professional and good fun (staff seemed happy behind bar), doorman very chatty and polite and owner friendly too. As two women in their 30’s we wanted somewhere not full of youngsters (mixed ages) and with music but not any hassle. We found this to be perfect nicely laid out lovely patio out back good music and would definitely recommend a classy bar. We didn’t have food so can’t comment on that but drinks and everything else were fab! Thankyou and welldone.

Ordered 241 cocktails. Got 1 cocktail divided into 2 glasses. And then the barman "accidentally" charged us for pints instead of the half pints we got. Awful.

We hired The Loft (upstairs room) for our 40th birthday party. Great size room, which looked amazing with all the decorations up. Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The Jam Jar cocktails very popular and tasted great (plenty of alcohol in them too). Really recommend it as a venue for a party. We had a live band and about 50 people, which was perfect. The only reason why 4 and not 5 stars was the room got very hot with all the dancing...

Ordered the buy one get one free cocktails from a very rude barman who asked me to “wait! I’ll make one at a time!” As I was asking for only 4 drinks. He didn’t even use a measure to make the cocktails and poured what was meant to be one drink with what he guessed was one measure of gin into two glasses!! After drinking a few sips I had to hand the drink back for a lady working on the bar who agreed there wasn’t enough gin in the cocktail and way too much elderflower cordial! I was faced with the original barman simply making the statement “I’ve been doing this for 23 years!” A shame because the place had so much potential to be a good bar with all the right decor!

Was enlightened by the Buy One Get One Free cocktails. Turns out it’s buy one, get it in 2 glasses. Menu choices incomplete. Bar staff un-inviting. Terrible shame, but better cocktails in Wetherspoons and that’s a stretch

My sister and I came in here for cocktails, and on reflection I don't know why we accepted themWhen we walked in we were eventually greeted by a guy sat on a stool. We asked for a drinks menu and were pointed to some clipboards with very sticky laminated menusOrdered two cocktails and watched a bit shocked as the manager made them by touching all the fruit with his hands and touching the ends of the straws with his fingers. I honestly don't know why I didn't say anything at the time and really wish I had. For a site doing a food offer, they really to consider how the bar people's actions affect perceptions.
