Lovely and hot and delivered on time.

It took 2 hours for me to receive my food after I had placed my order

The food was freezing cold, took 2 hours to be delivered, and the portions were tiny. Has put me off ordering food again.

Got to the restaurant on the 10/11/24. Was driving back home after a busy weekend and decided to stop for food. Diverted off the route specifically to go to TGI. Stood around in the foyer for around 10 minutes. Finally got asked to sit at the bar as the table was getting cleaned. Got to the bar and ordered some drinks. At a push there were about 5 tables with people in the restaurant and tens of empty tables to choose from. 10 mins later sat at the table, got given the menus. Waited another 15 mins before the order was taken. When ordering food we got told they did not have some items we wanted, which would have been good to mention when giving us the menus. Never mind, ordered something else. Also, not sure how exactly the table was getting cleaned and what were waiting for because between the 3 of us we only had 1 fork. Likely meaning that the table was not cleaned from the previous party. Fast forward very painful 40-50 mins food started to arrive. 2 main dishes my friends ordered were fine. My food, however…. Wow. I mean, I go to TGIs VERY often and order a delivery even more often. When I say I had better food arriving on the back of the moped in the middle of winter - I mean it. Ordered maple glazed corn ribs, boneless hot wings + chips. All to arrive at the same time. Pork ribs arrived, asked politely to swap it to what I ordered (the waitress did repeat the order back and she did repeat corn ribs back not pork so not sure what went wrong there). All well and good, this got taken away. Wings arrived. The blue cheese sauce was covered with some weird film (almost curdled on top) and genuinely felt that it was just stood under the lamps for a good while. Chips never arrived. Asked where they were and got told that they were going to be here in a minute as they were “just plating them up”. Another 5 minute passes and “corn ribs” arrive. Picture 8 or so pieces of steamed corn with absolutely nothing on it. No sauce, nothing just steamed plain corn. At this point, still with no chips, I asked for a manager. In the meantime chips arrived. Absolutely inedible with so much salt on it that it could give you instant hypertension. Manager arrived. I explained that it’s been a very poor experience and she asked me what I wanted to do and offered to fry a fresh portion of chips. Considering we still had another 2 hr drive to go and these took over an hour to come out - I politely refused. Corn also came back, same pieces as before but this time garnished with things that are stated on the menu. Manager couldn’t really explain what took so long or why the food was such a terrible quality but said she’d go and have a look “what could be done about it” and promised to come back with the bill. Ok, waited another 5-10 mins no sign of manager. Asked the waitress to bring us the bill. The manager did take all of my items off the bill in the end. Overall really poor experience, guys. Like I said before I go to TGIs often and I know what to expect food wise. Don’t come to not pay. I want to pay but I also want decent food that arrives in reasonable time. All in all around 1.5hrs of time wasted on a long journey home.

The flamboyant guy at reception was excellent, our server polite and courteous. BUT, considering how many people were actually there eating (9 tables max), the food took a while, and there was very little food for a multi cultural family like ours, who only eat Halal, Fish or Veggie. It's near Leicester, Coventry and Birmingham (where we drove from), so a no brainer to have Halal options? The interior looked tired, music way too loud (needs a quiet zone for smaller kids and people that wanna talk) and the table felt sticky like it hadn't been cleaned properly, cutlery seemed like it had seen better days. I used to love Fridays and have eaten at loads. This seems like it needs a revamp and some more staff like the dude on the door...

Waited a while to be seated, was a few groups all waiting and restaurant wasn't busy. Services was really slow, like we was forgotten about. Food was only so, so and for what your paying you'd like a little bit more. No wonder TGI's are in a bit if trouble. Real shame as never had issues before with any TGI's

Attended the TGI quiz night, great fun, great atmosphere

My recent visit to TGI Fridays was a satisfying blend of good food, vibrant atmosphere, and attentive service. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the lively decor and casual, friendly ambiance.

Dave, Charlie and Lee are brilliant 10/10 service, good & atmosphere!

Visited here as u can't go wrong with a Tgi but it was not the experience we wanted. The food was awful, waitress was lovely and bubbly but overall felt ripped off. And they don't do cheese sauce anymore!!!!

Lee the tall handsome barmen, served me with exceptional talent, manors and looks, he is an amazing member of staff and in my opinion should be recognised for what he delivers. Great guy, professional guy with more than an outstanding attitude towards customer service. He, alone, encourages me to return and spread the word, what a guy!!

Recent visit was poor. Food was cold. Seated with other to make it look busy. Disappointed.

Had a Friday night meal. My smashed burger was nice but my wife's chicken burger was cold. The bottom half of the roll was soaking in oil and the paper underneath also sopping. We told the waitress, she was obviously used to complaints as she just ignored us and walked away. Overall not great and definitely overpriced.

The price for the food I don't feel is worth it. The staff seem very friendly and accomodating I would only go again if invited for someones special occasion.

Was seen to a table after 10 hours of waiting at the entrance when it wasn’t busy. To top that a blonde girl with glasses saw to us with a stroppy face and a fat attitude and left the menus on the table and left. The food was overcooked, chips were cooked in cold oil, and the music was way too loud. Would give 0 stars if given the opportunity to do so.

Very bad service and far too expensive.

Worst TGI Fridays experience ever. The ribs were cold. The fries were cold. The burgers were cold. The waiting times for both drinks and food were awful. The place was totally understaffed. The only good thing of the whole meal was Micheal, who served us. The rest of the staff were uninspiring. Micheal worked so very hard, although he stood no chance whatsoever as there was just not enough staff to cope. Unfortunately, I can now understand why so many TGI Fridays have closed down.

I had been here last weekend! Ordered for a Cobb salad and got a hair in it! I was a bit shocked about how the salad was given with half cut lettuce and everything thrown on the plate. Absolutely no dressing. Was so disappointed that couldn’t even complete the meal .

Michael was amazing from start to finish! he was incredibly friendly and even though it was a busy night he got our food and drinks out promptly, food was amazing, fresh and hot, portion sizes really great too, would 100% recommend :)

This place had a funny smell when we entered. Almost as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I then realised it was just the delightful clientele. Food was good, service was slow. Would not go back.

Had the new glazed chicken burger, sounded great on the menu but in reality was a flat tasteless burger that could easily have been thrown together at home. The cheesey bacon fries were disappointing too, couldnt see the bacon. Definitely not worth the £15.50 price tag. Partner had the tex mex chicken salad which was better, but still pricey for what it was. Best bit was the oreo milkshake, BRING BACK MINT CHOC CHIP! Came again today 5/10/2024 for some nachos, nice n quiet, got a nice table for me and thr wife. Then the next waiter comes along and plonks a family with a loud kid directly next to us (the whole restuarant was empty). Kid was messin about runnin around all the time and kep climbing the chair behind my wife. Nachos were so bad, barely any toppings, no cheese, soggy, chewy nachos. The barman and lady who served us were great though, very welcoming and polite

Normally really like TGI, but this was the worst one I have been to. Bad service, forgot my chips & staff were not the usual bubbly people I would expect. My local one in Braintree is exceptional though.

The delivery person was extremely rude, insisting that we hadn't paid, weven though the receipt on the package said clearlyin big letters PAID.

Really gone down hill. Can't see it surviving. Prices increased, portions smaller. Service was sub standard, food was mediocre 😕 = menu fail. ..Particularly taking off the time square big share* All in all sat and said, can't see this place lasting much longer!

the servers were great food was the worst l have had for a long time ,some it was cold ,the burgers were so wet with the sauce you couldn't pick it up it wad so soggy and very expensive for what you get .My advice if you want a decent burger go get a big mac

Been a couple of times now. Service is always friendly. Food is the chain food I expected. If only the people who brought their children here were as good. If I have to have my dog on lead in resteraunts so should your children if you can't control them

Food is well overpriced. Burgers and Cajun onion rings were nothing special. Service took forever and they forgot our onion rings. Was way too noisy too. Couldn't even talk to people at the table. Took ages to pay too.

The service was terrible. We had a table booked. When we arrived, we were sent to the bar and just left there. I had to ask to be seated, and once we were seated, we were given menus but then just left. After 45 minutes, I then had to ask again if we could order as no one came over. I won't be going back here as I feel no attention was made to the paying customer. Once we had a waiter, he was very polite, but it was the fact we were just left to our own devices initially.

I booked TGI Fridays for my fiancé’s birthday as we had previously had a good experience. I booked a table for 5 adults and 3 children, and on the booking selected it was for a birthday. (I knew usually this meant additional singing and a balloon hat from previous experience) As we got there, I explained we had booked for 6pm and got asked to go to the bar until the rest of our party arrived. When they did arrive, we went back and told the staff and they didn’t have a table for us. Eventually we were sat down, and a server was assigned to us. He seemed very busy and was running around no end serving multiple tables at a time. There seemed to be a shortage of staff. It was a bit unorganised from our part on what we wanted to eat and drink but once ordered it was fine. They were brilliant when it came to allergens and dealt with them amazingly. The food took over an hour to come out- this was just for starters and kids food. When the starters came out they weren’t great quality as though they had been sat under the hot plate for a long time. The nachos were stale, and all the sauce had melted into eachother. The cheese doughnuts were the same. We finished our starters, the kids finished their food and eventually the mains came out. They were unremarkable. For the price you’d expect much more. Especially where the wall to wall chicken is involved, £30 and it was barely worth £20. They didn’t come back to ask for drinks while we ate our starters or mains, and when he finally came back and did ask, the beer was forgotten. We didn’t bother asking again. The kids were getting restless by this point. We did tell the servers numerous times it was my partner’s birthday, and asked for the song/balloon and got told the table needed to be cleared first. We got told to pay the bill, and once we did nobody came back. Poor service, poor waiting times, it wasn’t busy and the food wasn’t great for the price they expect you to pay. Let down for my partners birthday and we won’t be returning, which is a shame as only a couple of months ago we really loved the bottomless brunch, the food and the service was fab. Must’ve gone downhill, maybe a change of management?

Massively overpriced menu, especially the 2 for 1 cocktails - £16 😱 - Staff working hard but not enough of them, food desperately slow on arrival and in dribs and drabs - saw one family of 3 get 2 meals and then the 3rd 15 minutes later!! Food luke warm on arrival and tbh having waited 45 minutes, couldn't spare the time for this to be rectified. A shadow of the place it used to be. Sadly, as we used to live TGI's, will not be back in a hurry. Staff resolutely cheerful and apologetic.

Visited today for lunch, it was very quiet. Got seated and sat for 20mins, no one came to the table to take any sort of order. A table sat after us got drinks. We got nothing so walked out, straight passed the person that sat us. He didn't even question why we were leaving.

Disappointed, normally i like tgis but this one was very dirty food on floor next to empty tables, very unclean on our table when we sat, the glass divider were filthy, service was slow, food was very tasty though, they are overpriced but we knew that already. i booked a surprise birthday booking and absolutely nothing was done for this.

Freezing cold, food was very poor for the price. Had to have a manager come take my food order as I have an allergy. Took them 5 minutes after taking my partners order.

Absolutely shocking , dirty menu handed to myself when I entered which I didn't notice until seated , could have a least clean it after last customer. Left me wonder on how dirty the whole place could be . After looking through the limited menu , we decided on what to order only after about 10mins being told they didn't have kids chicken tenders , then another 5-10mins passed before being told that they didn't have the Mac & cheese or the Nachos , to which when asked to order something else it gave me the opportunity to leave ,which in all honesty was a sigh of relief. Can honestly say would NEVER EVER go to a TGI Fridays EVER again

Not hospitable.Waited for ten mins for no one to seat us at a table. So we walked away.

Stopped by for a cheeky spot of lunch before heading back home down south. So many new options and a handsome chap I believe his name was Anthony, served us! Lovely guy and you could tell he really enjoyed his job! Great food and great service!

20 pound for only chips to come!

Food was ok...but slowest service in a quarter filled restaurant. Also waiter took the change as a tip (I was going to give it to her) but it the principle of assuming im tipping you all of it especially with the lack of service given

Wow! We haven't been to fridays in a while but our daughter turned 10 yesterday and i thought we would give fridays a go. We booked with a young lady on the phone who asked if we would like any special arrangements for my daughter’s birthday and stated they will bring out a slice of cake and make a fuss of our daughter. They did not disappoint! Elise was our waitress and what an asset to fridays she is! So attentive, constantly on top of drinks, made sure we never wanted for anything. Elise made our daughter a hat out of balloons and several other little balloons for the other children on our table and really made our daughter feel special! When it came to the end of our meal elise brought the whole team over to our table with a slice of cake and they sang happy birthday to her! We absolutely loved our visit and now i have two little ones begging to go again next week when we get back from our holiday! Thank you elise and TGI Fridays Coventry for making our daughters birthday so special!

As an American I came here with high expectations but I was let completely down. Food OVERPRICED. Service is terrible. And my food took an hour and some change just for a chicken pasta… would not recommend at all.

Car park poorly maintained, if you have low profile tyres watch out for the massive pot hole you can fit a bowling ball in it. Can’t see the parking bays as white lines not visible and rubble and gravel also a problem. Took over an hour for food to arrive. Did not ask if we wanted any condiment’s. Burger cheese was dry and burger was cold. Unfortunately we had to refuse and went home and cooked for ourselves it wasn’t the waiters fault as the place is very busy, Probably under staffed in the kitchen. She mentioned the burger was standing under the hot plate probably for quite a while. Over priced food and drinks. Not a great place to go if you get sensory overload. Unfortunately we will not be going there again.

Great tasty food and our server was a lovely lady who was very friendly and helpful. 5 of us were dinning including 3 vegetarians, everyone was very happy 👌

This place is absolutely a vibe! The hosts will give you a warm welcome, the bartenders will give you the best time and whatever you order especially the loaded fries and sesame chicken strips are absolutely amazing. The waiters/waiteresses are lovely and you’ll always want to come back, so what are you waiting for? Get on down! 😍🤩

A bit more than ordinary pub food but beautifully cooked and tasty. The staff are very obliging and seem to really care that you have a great time. Try the ribs, the meat falls off the bone. Some nice sweet courses too.

£26 for a £4 steak and a handful of chips that had barely touched the pan. The waiter was pleasant enough but the manager seemed more interested in trying his best to chat the bar maid up, go to McDonald’s instead.

Portion sizes were a joke, I used to love the food at TGIs. It was an utter disgrace what they now class as a portion. The place was empty and I can see why

Food prices are ridiculously overpriced. £11 for a glass of wine. It's just a glorified burger bar.

Me and my friend had a great time at TGI’s this evening. We were served by Michael and he was friendly with amazing service throughout! It was an overall pleasant experience and would highly recommend.

Watching England’s match at our table was brilliant and the food and atmosphere was too we love Tgi’s Coventry and every other tgi Fridays we have been to and that’s a lot of city’s Glasgow Walsall Birmingham Northampton’s Twin Lakes, Liverpool’s L1 and so many more served by Micheal who was incredibly helpful and fast, overall brilliant table service and overall excellent Sunday evening at the Coventry restaurant ✊
