Was out longer then expected so as we were passing decided to stop and get something to eat (lunch time on a Wednesday afternoon). Awful attitude from staff as we had not booked in advance, we were told the only place we could sit was the seating by the bar which was the same menu but no table service, which we didn't mind. We found a seat and then heard bar staff very loudly announce they couldn't believe people turn up without a booking (as I said stopped by unexpectedly as out longer then planned). We waited over an hour for foodto arrive, but when it did it was piping hot and tasted good so no complaints there. I wouldn't be in a rush to return due to staff attitude, and I would rather they had just said sorry we are fully booked (which i dont think they were as as you had to walk past the main dining area to get to the toilets and it was only ever half full the whole 2 hours we were there)

Hi. Just I entered for lunch and they not answer back my hello and said we are booked for evening. I asked for lunch menu as they advertised but said no staff and we can give you chips. The chips and beer was bad and it’s better they close it. Please even don’t try it with this rude people.

I love the flavor of ice cream, but I only buy it to go because the staff doesn't allow dogs in the store. But one day I met the owner and he allowed me to bring my little dog to sit on his lap and eat ice cream in the store. It was awesome. I will go back every time I'm in town running errands. I really appreciate the kindness of the owner.

We were greeted by a moaning guy on the front desk when we arrived, bemoaning the lack of staff, bemoaning the fact we hadn't booked (it was a big group and I wasn't the organiser so I wasn't aware of this). We were just about to put £several hundred through the restaurant so a warmer welcome could have been offered - and as it turned out they could easily fit us in. The ale selection was dismal with only Doom Bar available, and that is one of the worst in my opinion. So I opted for a lager from a similarly poor selection of options - but at least there were 4 to choose from. My Ribeye steak was the toughest I have ever had and not very tasty, and something I regretted ordering after a few bites. Due to the fact we were there with extended family I decided to grin and bear it and not ask for it to be changed. It is as I have come to expect from Beefeaters - average food and drink at best and pretty soulless. It's pretty disappointing you have to pay for parking after 3 hours (we were a very big group so were there for around 4 hours) but at least it was quite cheap to do so. It was inconvenient to have to download, install and set up the app though. I believe our server was called Sophie (according to the receipt) and she was a delight. Cheerful and attentive throughout, she looked after my dairy intolerant Aunt very well, was really good with my kids, and was only too happy to help us with a group photo at the end of the meal.

Absolutely abysmal effort of a restaurant! I’ll try and keep this as short as possible but in summary: After waiting an hour for our food to come out (this was after chasing a few times) I think some of our order was served to another table so we was told my child’s meal would take another 5-10 minutes. My food was not what I ordered so I had to make do as we were running out of time because we had theatre tickets booked. My wife’s chicken burger meat was stone cold like it hadn’t been cooked fully (possibly still partly frozen as I assume they don’t use fresh food) so she couldn’t eat it. My childs meal came out and the bun was still frozen inside. Again not edible. We ordered second drinks that never turned up (not offered complimentary because of the delay either) Never offered any condiments. Finally the manager Courtney came over and said she would fix this and this is where the kick in the teeth came. She took the meals off the bill (charged for all drinks) but because we had eaten some of the chips between the 3 of us (as it was the only thing edible) she decided to charge us for 2 sides of chips as well! I explained that we will have to go to our show now hungry and this has ruined the family meal out and we won’t get to eat now till 10pm at night, She couldn’t care less. Despite me suggesting that I can’t believe she is still going to charge considering they have ruined the start of our night, her attitude was simply “well you have eaten the chips so you should pay for them” !! I’ve never experienced such bad service before. It was chaotic in there. They have no systems in place because the tables in front and behind us you could hear also had problems. I was chatting to someone else from another table and they told me it’s like that a lot in there. They must employ young staff with no experience or training nor do they have any systems in place as they were run off their feet and everything seemed to be going wrong. These poor people must have to put up with constant customer disappointment and anger. Extremely shocking effort and I would never return. This place is not fast food and it’s very pricey so to expect some level of quality and service is not much to ask for!

Ordered via Deliveroo with special delivery so it would arrive quickly & hot. Food arrived cold and a wrap was missing. I always open the bag now in front of the driver, as often items are missing from various places we order from. Told the driver a wrap was missing, showed him the receipt and inside the bag. He told us all we could do was complain to Deliveroo for a refund for that item. Meanwhile someone is without their food! Husband decided to call GDK direct and the lady he spoke to was so rude! Told my husband that the wrap must have fallen out of the bag?? The bag was sealed up so there’s no way a whole wrap could have fallen out? She kept arguing with my husband, no apology at all. (They were right we were wrong attitude). Husband hung up on her in the end. Awful customer service! If there’s 5 items on the receipt how difficult is it to put 5 items instead of 4 in the bag? And then to top it off the food that did arrive was stone cold. Husband threw his burger away and I heated mine in the microwave. It was tasteless and dry and such a shame it’s gone downhill. Beginning of the year we loved the food there but after this evening we’ll never order from there again.

We visited the restaurant in Staines for my grandsons 9th birthday and I wasn’t impressed. My husbands burger came out stone cold and he had to send it back which meant we didn’t eat together at the same time. The member of staff was apologetic and got him a new meal but that’s not the point. It is not the cheapest place to eat in fact it’s quite pricey and you would expect food to come out hot not cold. I will say one thing the staff who served us were very pleasant and sang happy birthday to my grandson which was nice and gave him a slice of cake that’s the positive but I’m afraid the food is not up to standard and we were very disappointed.
